A special note of thanks to Jimmy Hall, head coach of the 6th grade Union Eagles football team, and all of the dads who have helped him coach this team since the 3rd grade.  We have been blessed to have such quality men give so much of their time and resources to teach our kids to compete and become champions on and off the field.  May God bless them beyond measure for all they have given these past four years.

Thanks,

UCA 6th grade Eagles capture the 2011 Bi State Conference Championship.

The Union Christian 6th grade Eagles rolled to a "20 to 0" victory against Van Buren Saturday to claim the championship in the 6th grade division.  Ryan Dockery hauled in a 57yard TD pass from Trey Hall to start off the scoring for the Eagles.  Christian Snipes rumbled 20 yards on a blast up the middle to put the Eagles ahead "14 to 0" after Chance Demier added the PAT.  The Eagles went on to score once more in route to their "20 to 0" victory.  The defense shutout the potent Van Buren offense, led by the interior line play of Ryan Wallace, Jeremiah Mathews, Braden Clark and Micheal Wilson.  The offensive line of the Eagles not only opened up huge holes for Snipes to run thru but they also did an excellent job of protecting the quarterback on the Union pass plays.  The offensive line is anchored by Garrett Clark, Henry Jeffrey and Hunter Morton.  The Eagles defensive secondary also had a strong effort with Tyler Graham, Weston Graham, Levi Jeffrey and Micah Murdock leading the way.  Jordan West had several key pass receiptions as he caught several passes from Hall to keep key Eagle drives alive during the contest.
