Secondary Screenings are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 4.  Students to be screened are 6th, 8th, and new students to Union this school year in 5th, 7th, and 9th -12th.

 Tie the Touchdown for Toms!

Atchley Air and Gray's Brothers Equipment are our corporate match sponsors for "Tie the Touchdown for Toms".  Atchley Air will donate $500 + $25/touchdown to assist UCA with their mission trip goal.  Gray's Brothers Equipment will donate $100 for every Union touchdown. If you would like to "Tie the Touchdown" for Toms, visit Union's table by the concession stand to make a donation.  $40 will buy one pair of shoes for the orphans our students will minister to while in Haiti. 

 

Atchley Air will also give  away 2 tickets to the AR/Auburn game.  "Like" their Facebook page to be entered into the this drawing which will be held on September 30th.   

 

For Parents of Seniors...
For those seniors going to Haiti, the first deposit is due by October 1st to Mrs. Sagely.  The amount is $275.00.  Make checks payable to Joshua Expedition.
 Pledge Commitment Opportunity

Holiday CollectionThe PTF Holiday Fundraiser is off to a great start!  The Elementary and Secondary PTF officers would like to offer 25% of your student's sales for this fundraiser to go towards your student pledge commitment.  As an example, if your student sells products for $100, $50 will go back to the company for the purchase of the actual product. $25 will be applied to your student pledge and $25 will go to the PTF to help fund school events and classroom/teacher needs.  

 

We are also extending the deadline to turn in forms to Monday, October 3rd.  Additional sales packets are available at both campuses.

For your information... 

 

"Because our Extended Care program is certified by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, we must adhere to certain regulations in order to continue this service for our families. The following is a reminder of the main highlights from our past policy which can be found in the brochures that were available at the Parent Fair last August:

  • Any child attending Extended Care must have a completed registration form on file at the elementary campus. Applications are available in the Elementary Office. If you think there could be a possibility of your child attending Extended Care, we would encourage having the registration on file now before the need arises.
  • Occasional drop-ins must give a 24-hour advanced notice with date and time of pick-up along with payment of $12.50 per day.
  • Emergency drop-ins will be allowed with payment due at pick-up. If possible, please contact the office before school is dismissed for the day to inform to Extended Care staff of the addition and avoid any cause for anxiety for the child.
  • Children must be picked up by 5:30. There is a late fee of $1 per minute after that time.
