Greetings!
It's Back!
Ros Limerick Contest 2012!
It's time once again to get creative* and express your passion, joy, love, and desire for dry pink wines through the always eloquent, heartfelt, and touching... limerick!
From Wikipedia: A limerick is a five-line poem in anapestic or amphibrachic meter with a strict rhyme scheme (aabba), which intends to be witty or humorous, and is sometimes obscene with humorous intent.
The following example of a limerick is of unknown origin:
The limerick packs laughs anatomical In space that is quite economical, But the good ones I've seen So seldom are clean, And the clean ones so seldom are comical.
* Needless to say, we recommend a glass of wine... or two... to help you gear up (or down?) for waxing limericktic.
The Rules:
- You must be at least 21 to submit an entry.
- Multiple entries are allowed, but each must be in a separate email. Only poems in true limerick format are eligible to win, but other forms of poetry are welcome.
- Only entries submitted via email will be accepted.
- Entries must be "clean enough" to print publicly.
- All entries are due by Friday, September 2nd at midnight
What can you win?
- 1st prize - $50 Wine Authorities Gift Certificate
- 2nd prize - $30 Enomatic Card
- 3rd prize - Two bottles of any DAILY-priced ross
Our panel of celebrity judges will be announced soon. Stay tuned for more.

Tasty Tuesday!
Get back to school with our
SAT
(South American Tasting)
Featuring the continent's unique specialties
This Tuesday, August 28th, we present our weekly "Tasty Tuesday" FREE wine tasting. Every Tuesday is tasty! From 5:00 until 6:30, we host this FREE bonus tasting of three wines to get you through the early week and land you safely on hump day.
South America's vineyards are riddled with distinctive varietals and specialties. European grapes that had all but disappeared are today happily thriving in both Argentina and Chile. This week, we're taking a closer look at three such grapes: Carmenere, Malbec, and Torrontes. If you haven't yet gotten cozy with each of these South American signatures, this will be a great opportunity to taste three very representative examples in the daily price range!
Also Introducing: Tasty Tuesday 20%
Mixed Case Discount!
After you taste, put together 12 bottles from our Tasty Tuesday lineup, and we'll take an entire 20% off!
