 Every year, we like to celebrate Mother's Day with a wine tasting. This year, we have possibly the most mother-centric tasting yet, featuring wines made exclusively by moms! Four wines, four mothers, all awesome! This Tuesday, May 15th, we present our weekly "Tasty Tuesday" FREE wine tasting. Every Tuesday is tasty! From 5:00 until 6:30, we host this FREE bonus tasting of three wines to get you through the early week and land you safely on hump day.
This week, we're tasting wines made from Bordeaux's three most famous grapes, but our examples will be from the West Coast of the United States. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc have been among the most important varietals in California and Washington. Find out why the Bordeaux connection with our West Coast runs as deep as it does and sample some delicious new arrivals!

We'll begin with a toast to all moms with a rich Burgundian sparkler (one which is also perfect for celebrating recent graduations!,) before traveling to Austria for one of our first dry Rosés of 2011. For our reds, we have a knockout value of a fresh, lively New Zealand Pinot Noir, and an powerful Languedoc red made possible not only by a mom but also by ancient (perhaps matriarchal?) vines of Carignan!
