 Greetings!
Happy Birthday to us! sjkid officially turned one on September 29th. What an exciting year is has been! We have grown by leaps and bounds! Everyday, sjkid increases its content and new members join daily.
In this issue we look back at some of the highlights of sjkid's first year. We tell you some of our favourite Places to Brings Kids. See below, for details on this months Anniversary Contest with multiple prizes!

In this past year, I have had a chance to meet lots of you in person and connect with many more of you by email. Many of you have thanked me for updating sjkid. I, in turn want to thank all of you, it is all the wonderful members of the sjkid community that keep it going. Thanks for all your input, suggestions, information and encouragement! Also, a big thank you to our hardworking board of volunteer parents. It truly takes a community to keep a resource like sjkid going.

Highlights of the 1st year of sjkid

It has been an exciting first year for sjkid. Here are some of the highlights:
- Sept 15th, 2008: without much fanfare, but a whole lot of enthusiasm, sjkid goes online, with a handful of users test running it.
- September 29th, 2008: official public launch of sjkid. Huge launch party held at Market Square for families.
