| Fun Groups to Make Friends |
|
There are many terrific groups and activities in the Greater Saint John area, where parents, caregivers and kids can make friends while having fun. Here are a few suggestions:
Prenatal Yoga: Many places are offering prenatal Yoga classes. This is great place to get fit and meet other Mom's-to-be.
Rock and Talk: This program offers Young Parent's a place to learn about parenting, meet others and enjoy fun activities.
Toddler Time at the Library: Most of the area libraries offer this fun program for toddlers age 18-36 months and caregivers. Great opportunity for your child to meet their first friend and for you to meet some other adults.
Playgroups: There are many great playgroups for kids aged 0-5 and their caregivers. You can bring all your little ones to one spot and meet other parent's and caregivers.
Guides/Scouts: Great club for kids age 5+ to join, to make friends and learn life skills.

March Break, school is out and most preschool programs are closed. Looking for something to keep those restless kids busy? Something that will be a lot of fun? Here are a few ideas:
Polar Flip n Dip Camp at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. This is a great camp for those who have school aged kids who love the water.
The Public Library is offering activities at area branches during March Break. This is great, if you are looking for activities you can do with your kids.
