This week's tip is brought to you by Tracy Hilfer of our Customer Care team.

Did you know you can enter a Contact into Avionte and not attach them to a Customer?   When might this be good to use?

If you have a Consultant (Project Manager/IT person) that you work with and works with multiple customers you can add all the Customers to the Contact and remove as needed.

What if you meet someone at a function and would like to keep this person in mind if a new opportunity comes up.  You could enter skills and any other information about this Contact as well as a resume in the document section.

Once you create an order and you would like to consider this Contact for the order you can use the Create/View in Actions to make them an Employee.

Need to find this contact at a later time?  You can do an advanced search on Skills.

  • Search Type:  Contact
  • Select Category:  Skill Code
  • Select Fields:  Category
  • Select Operator: =

Enter Value:  (Type of skill you are looking for)
