I love skill marketing! What's not to love about it? Everyone wins, a great candidate gets placed, your customer gets a great new employee and the employee (hopefully) has landed in a great new spot! Wouldn't you agree it's GREAT all the way around?!
The tricky part of skill marketing is actually finding the time to do it. What if you could press a button and see all the current and past job orders or Customers that your candidate might be a good fit for? I know...you know what I'm leading up to.. you can!
Check out AutoMatch under the Actions menu. If you are in an Employee record it will look at potential matches in Customer, Temp Order or Agency. If you are in a Customer record it will look for a potential match to an Employee.
AutoMatch runs off of the Skills in the Employee, Customer, Contact, Job Order or Agency record. Be sure to update them! In the next upgrade you will have the option of adding Zip Code Radius and Key Word search to your AutoMatch.
A couple of other ideas for using AutoMatch to make your life easier:
Unemployment. Run an AutoMatch to quickly look for open positions (or ones you can skill market).
Help the front desk quickly guide candidates to the right Staffing Specialist. They can run an AutoMatch and see whose Orders come up, then schedule an interview with the appropriate person.
AutoMatch is a GREAT tool when you need to locate candidates quickly and send out Mass Mail to inform of a new opening. Remember, this will not drill down to specifics, but will help you get started. AND you can always drill down further on your Basic Search Grid.
