If you know someone in your organization who is not currently receiving the Tip of the Week, send me an email with their contact info and I will get them added!
It's Friday afternoon and you are a little tired from the week. You have several projects that you could work on, but none of them really seem to sound "fun". I have a great project for you to work on.. and it's FUN!
How many resumes do you have on your local computer that have not yet been entered into Avionte? Each of those resumes that is not in your database could be a lost revenue opportunity for you or other team members. When resumes aren't in the database neither you nor anyone else can search on them. How about taking a few minutes and putting ALL of them into Avionte?
If all of your resumes are already in a single folder you are considered head of the class and deserve a quick break to grab a drink or a bit of sunshine while the rest of the group gets their resumes together.
Gather all your resumes into a single folder to make the import easier. Once your resumes are all saved in the proper file(s) click on Resume Parser on your main menu. If you don't see it you may need to contact your administrator and ask them to add it to your view. Next, click on Parse Resume on the far right of your screen. Now find your folder that you placed all your resumes in and select those you want to parse. You will need to hold down your control key to select multiple resumes. Once you have completed this step you will see them appear in the working screen of Parse Resume. You can now look at them individually and parse them, or you can check the box in the Choose field and then click on Post Selected in the top left of the working screen.
Look at you! How many resumes did you just enter? Pat yourself on the back and consider your day a success! Happy Friday!
