Due to the response to the recent survey we sent to find out who would be interested in participating in an athletic ministry, we are going to try to get a Flag Football League going.
So here's the scoop: We had just about enough people that responded from JFC to put together our own league. Here's our plan. We want to begin the first Saturday morning in June. We have not secured a location for this yet. We are hoping that cost will be very minimal. It is necessary for you to respond as quickly as possible and commit to playing before we place you on a team. We anticipate having between six and eight players per team. (We will have one team composed of just pastors :)!) When you respond to this e-mail, also let me know if you would be interested in being a team captain.
We know that many of you who responded may have family and friends that are interested in participating as well. Please give them my name and e-mail address and have them contact me. The more we have the better the league will be so please invite those guys you know would be interested. We would like to included as many people as possible in this ministry.
