Dear (Contact First Name),
Wow. Can you believe the end of the year is already approaching? And what a year it's been! We're weathering the economy the same as you are. We don't spend money we don't have, we find ways to cut costs and we look for new sources of money. It's been tough this year, but you already know that. In my fondest dreams, money falls from the sky as often and as generously as the rain fell this summer.
I want to take a moment to thank our donors. You give to us regardless of circumstances, month after month, regular as clockwork and with cheeerful and willing hearts. You are the people who keep us going. I have no doubt that God is meeting your needs above and beyond all you could think or imagine. It would be great if God would meet all of our "wants", too, but it just doesn't seem to work like that.
If you look for God on purpose, you will easily find Him---in our steadfast staff and our amazing Ranchers---rewards far beyond anything we could have designed on our own. They are my heroes and I hope you'll take the time to come and meet them and see that God shows Himself plainly in the faces of His people. We look forward to seeing Him in yours. So I'm extending the invitation to you again. Come on out and visit us--anytime. We're always glad to see you.

H.O.G.s Bless the Ranch!!

In mid-August, the Greeley Harley Owners Group presented the Ranch with just over $3000 from their annual Poker Run to benefit Triangle Cross Ranch. The group hosts the ride every August and this year produced a record in giving. With the addition of an individual anonymous gift, the total donations for the night total over $4000. This money goes directly towards Rancher support, helping to pay the tuition expenses of our Ranchers and relieving a portion of the financial burden their families carry.
The highlight of the day for the Ranchers was when the riders arrived at the Ranch taking Ranchers for rides, spending time getting to know them and consuming moderate amounts of weak Kool-Aid and stale cookies. The H.O.G.S. host fundraisers throughout the year to benefit numerous charities, but we secretly like to think they like us the best...
They are arriving on December 12th to have their annual Christmas party with the Ranchers. If you have time, we would welcome you out to participate and enjoy the festivities.

Golf Tournament Success

Our annual golf tournament, with Clint Hurdle as our guest, teed off on August 21, at 8:00 am at Ute Creek Golf Course in Longmont. This year we saw a record number of foursomes and sponsors, making this our most profitable year ever. Huge thanks go out to our Board of Directors for their tireless efforts in making it all come together, to our major sponsor, Eberl Claims Service, as well as all of our other sponsors.

| Urgent Needs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  The Ranch is experiencing difficult financial times right now, which is no surprise, given the economic climate. We're in good company, as most other nonprofit organizations are in the same situation.
1. We have been generously underwriting our Ranchers for several years and would like to continue to do this. Without this financial assistance, many of our Ranchers would have to leave the Ranch. However, our reserves are being depleted faster than we can replace them. We need help. If God moves on your heart to give to Triangle Cross Ranch and the work we do here, I have no doubt that He will give back to you, "...pressed down, shaken together and running over..." He is utterly, utterly faithful.
2. If you have a creative idea for fund raising, RUN, DON'T WALK to your telephone and call our office. I will be happy to talk with you and put feet to your vision. We have one of the best and most unique programs in the country and would like to be able to offer it to anyone who needs us, regardless of their financial status. As a wise man once said, "All it takes is money."
3. We are selling our 15 passenger vans in favor of more fuel efficient vehicles. We currently have a beautiful conversion van that seats 7 and gets reasonably good mileage, but we must have enough seating space to accomodate all of our Ranchers. If you have a fuel efficient vehicle that you would consider donating, please give us a call at 970-454-2219. We will supply a giving receipt for your end of the year tax deduction and you will be helping us serve our Ranchers and remain financially responsible.
4. Finally, please consider a financial gift this holiday season. Our staff are missionaries in their own right and do with less for themselves in order to give more to the Ranchers. We receive no government funding, relying solely on the good will and generosity of the community and the families that we serve. Bottom line--that's you. We're blessed to have you on our side.
