Blessings and great thanksgiving for you! We do give thanks for you, our readers, students, graduates and friends. Sharing the spiritual journey with you is a privilege and joy. Speaking of joy, Light of Christ Community Church concluded its 2011 Annual Conference with workshops and a keynote speaker whom all appreciated. Early in the Conference week, the Board of Governors highlighted some of last year's advanced classes and shared a glimpse of the new partnership we've formed with GreenHawk Global Enterprise. We introduced a revised 2012 schedule - it will continue to be a growing and evolving work - and called attention to the new courses with new instructors being offered.
2011 Graduation
Also during Conference, the seminary held the annual commencement ceremony. We offer congratulations to our graduates and celebrate their new spiritual life path beginnings. The 2011 recipient of the Dean's "Minerva" Award was Rev. Nancy Kelly, and it was accompanied with much appreciation for her many years of service to the church and seminary as Advisor, Assistant Dean, and Director of the Sophia Schools of Wisdom. The Sophia Schools of Wisdom have completed their service as extensions of the seminary, and the outreach to regional students is being accomplished through our online courses now. We are very excited about the 2012 course listing and look forward to seeing you on campus or online. For now, though, I want to encourage you to enjoy the holidays as we pause to outwardly express our attitude of gratitude to our Creator, our family and our friends for the gifts they are in our lives. Then as we enter the longer nights of Winter mystery, may the Love and Light of Christ be renewed in our hearts.

Peace,
Susan, Dean
