Duane T. Bowers, LPC
Duane T. Bowers, LPC, CCHt is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Educator, a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist in private practice, and a Reiki Master.
As a therapist Duane's specialty is working with survivors of traumatic death and suicide, which includes assisting families who must identify loved ones at the DC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, through the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing.
As an educator, Duane teaches seminars nationally, internationally and regionally on dying, death and grief, as well as trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and traumatic loss.
Duane is responsible for the clinical supervision and training of staff and volunteers for a variety of organizations that deal with trauma and loss in the US and Canada. He was the Senior Director of Emergency and International Services for the National Capital Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Duane spent three months during the summer of 1999 in Macedonia/ Kosovo/Albania supervising a family reunification program in camps with war refugees.
In September 2001 Duane responded to the Pentagon immediately following the terrorist attack on September 11th, providing support to rescue and recovery workers. In April 2010 he served as the mental health team leader at the University of Miami field hospital following the earthquake in Port au Prince, Haiti.

Rev. Dr. Jon Mundy, Th.M., is an author, lecturer; minister, since 1985, the publisher of Miracles Magazine www.miraclesmagazine.org, and Executive Director of All Faiths Seminary International, in NYC.
A retired university lecturer, he taught classes in Philosophy, Religion, and Psychology from 1967-2009 at Interboro Institute, New York City (1967-1970); The New School University in New York City (1969-1979); Mercy College (1980-1994), teaching on campus and inside Sing Sing and Bedford Hills Prison for Women, The State University of New York, New Paltz, NY (2001-2007), and Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York (2000-2009).
His areas of specialization include: "The History of Mysticism," "The Psychology of Religion," "World Religions," "The History of Philosophy" "Oriental Philosophy" and "A Course in Miracles." He is the author of 9 books including his newest book, Living A Course in Miracles.
