All disease is the result of inhibited soul life, and
that is true of all forms in all kingdoms. The art of the healer consists in releasing the soul, so that its
life can flow through the aggregate of organisms which constitute any particular form.
Alice A. Bailey, Esoteric Healing, pg.5

Wesak Festival TalkA talk given at the 2010 Wesak Festival in New York April 27, 2010 By Sarah McKechnie Source: Lucis Trust
There are really two approaches to Wesak-one, the traditional Buddhist festival celebrated each year in every Buddhist society; another, the inner, esoteric dimension which is documented in the Ageless Wisdom. The focus of the esoteric view of Wesak is on the return of the Buddha each year, as he has for many centuries, bringing the force of Shamballa, the centre where the will of God is known, to the assembled Hierarchy of Masters, adepts, initiates and disciples who gather in a remote valley in Tibet. This annual festival is deeply anchored in Tibetan culture, but increasingly in the past century, it has also gained recognition in the West as the inner, esoteric significance of Wesak has become better known. Two relationships are highlighted at Wesak: its link with the following full moon of Gemini, which is the Festival of Goodwill, and the supreme act of cooperation of the two World Teachers, the Buddha and his brother, as Alice Bailey calls him, the Christ, over the period of these two full moons. At this moment each year, she says, "Two great streams of energy-one focussed through the Buddha and the other focussed through the Christ-are to be fused and blended and it is the task of the world disciples, the initiates and the accepted disciples to... INNER-gy TouchThe energetic approach to Spiritual PsychologyLinda McCoy Summer
Nothing can harm us unless we allow it. No one "pushes our buttons;" we do it to ourselves. We are held captive by our reactive subconscious belief system unless we decide to live differently. In the early 90's, inwardly directed, Linda developed a simple healing system she calls INNER-gy Touch to begin freeing herself and clients of painful mental/emotional reactions such as anger or jealousy. In this highly interactive workshop, learn to identify the emotional cause behind challenging situations-health, relationships, childhood traumas, etc. By learning to read the body's energy field using muscle testing and the Chinese Five Elements, the mental/emotional body is cleared of the negative energy. July 12 - 15Tuesday - Friday Music and the Evolving Consciousness Rev. Roberta Wilkes
Since at least the time of the ancient Greeks, philosophers have recognized the connection between the Universe and music. Modern physicists and other intellectual giants have posited theories of creation which recognize the importance of vibration, color and sound. Humanity's experience with music has changed as consciousness has evolved, allowing us to hear music as it becomes ever more sophisticated, brought into our physical surroundings by Master Musicians and composers. This class will explore the contribution of these composers and their music, and will allow you to explore your own ability to add to the expansion of consciousness. There is a place for non-musicians and trained musicians alike in this class. Students will need to have a personal cd player available. $215 enrolled seminarians / $240 others (plus required cd) Learn moreRegister for this class

Article: The Sonata of the Master MusicianBy William Meader Source: The Esoteric Quarterly Winter 2005
Sound gives birth to all that is. It is the power behind existence itself, and the universe is merely its outer effect. At first glance this may seem a strange notion. Yet, within Christian theology we are told that creation came forth in response to the "Word." In the East we are given to understand that Brahman sang the universe into existence. Both these mythological views hearken to the same notion. That is, that God gave birth to existence through the power of sacred sound. No other notion is as important in the understanding of human existence than this idea. If sound is the creative force behind all things, then humanity's use of it must be examined in this light. It suggests that the words we use and the music we create has far greater implications than normally conceived. The sounds we project into the outer world must eventually be harmonized with the sonata being played by the cosmic symphony and the Master Musician who directs it. Continue reading

July 25 - 29Higher Self Astrology III: Evolutionary AstrologyDennis Acrea
This new course was developed for students who are studying at an intermediate level. Utilizing the signs, houses and planets as well as the techniques of Transits and Progressions, the seeker is ready to explore the specialized topic of Evolutionary Astrology. Our birth chart is our road map to increasing awareness, allowing us to observe the dramas of the ego; absorbing them reflectively; and then distilling them into Wisdom. Multiple techniques for getting in touch with the Soul behind the chart will be introduced and then applied to the charts of famous people and the charts of students who are willing to share them. Students are invited to bring charts of friends and family for study and reflection. Ample time will be given to the application of evolutionary techniques. Prerequisite: Since students are expected to know the basics including the glyphs and key words, there is a prerequisite of both Higher Self Astrology Classes I and II. However, long-time students of Astrology who have not taken Dennis' courses may apply for this class by submitting to the Registrar a description of the classes you have taken and the books you have read; along with your experience in Astrology. Dennis reserves the right to redirect applicants to previous level of study. $250 enrolled seminarians / $275 others Learn moreRegister for this class
