Greetings!
When spring rolls around, many of us reach for our list of projects compiled during winter hibernation. The garden needs extra attention and there are some rooms in which we'd prefer different paint colors. Those projects would make our external environment more pleasing to us. That's all well and good - to create and surround oneself in a pleasurable environment in which to live and work, but what are we doing to create a more satisfying internal environment? Are we maintaining our spiritual practices, continuing to study, expanding our internal awareness, sharing ourselves more freely with others and eating healthful foods? Are we nourishing our internal life as well as we can? Throughout the year, we have scheduled classes that offer healing and transformation for body, mind and spirit. We invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to nourish your internal life by joining us and other like-minded individuals for one or more classes. Here are just a few of our upcoming classes: Self-Care: Introduction to the TARA Approach: Tools for Awakening Resources and Awareness LIVING THE QABALAH--A Six Day Experiential Offering ESOTERIC SECRETS: Eros, Sexuality, and Love Workshop GRADUATE TRIMESTER II: Renewal and Revitalization for Body-Mind-Spirit + Relax and Renew-Yoga Nidra Cleansing the Temple - A Path of Purification HEALING TECHNIQUES WEEK: Healing Touch Program Level I Class + Bowl Workshop + Natural Eyesight Improvement See you on campus, Amy Upperman Editor, SSS News |

April 27 - 29 Self-Care: Introduction to the TARA Approach:Tools for Awakening Resources and AwarenessAnnie Guzman, RN
We are energetic beings! Our overdependence on rational thought and language has obscured our natural ability to sense the flow of energy. We can regain a full awareness of the energetic bridge which links the body and the mind. Take advantage of this opportunity to begin the journey of understanding our body's wisdom by intimately getting to know the very temple which contains our every truth. Participants will learn to:
- Locate and vitalize twenty-six bioelectric sites along the meridian lines
- Differentiate shock from trauma
- Distinguish sympathetic activation from parasympathetic activation, and
- Treat self and others with energy medicine for a broad spectrum of needs.

May 1 - 7LIVING THE QABALAH- A Six Day Experiential OfferingCarole Stephenson-Snell
"Qabalah" means "to receive," and actually Living the Qabalah means "receiving" 24-7. Master Jesus mysteriously promised, "All these things ye shall do, and greater still." Does His promise baffle us? Not if we understand that we ARE the Mystery and journey within to unveil the promise. The Tree of Life assists us to plumb our depths and, together, expand the portal of group consciousness. Through social-silence for focused reception, Qabalistic transmissions, and by altering states of consciousness at will, this experience takes Ageless Wisdom all the way to the bone. Transformation begins with like-minded people intending that "all may be lifted" by their group work. We will study and eat and grow together as we Live the Qabalah. Only Good-Will Required. Materials to bring: new journal. $300 enrolled seminarians / $325 others Learn moreRegister for this class |
WEEKEND WORKSHOP
May 13 - 14ESOTERIC SECRETS: Eros, Sexuality, and LoveRev. Carol E. Parrish
Gain an enriched understanding of this powerful part of human life that few grasp. Esoteric ideas challenge us to look at our personal relationships as we expand our awareness to our more intimate nature. Words such as Eros, Passion, Sex, Attraction and Love have very different meanings as they are used esoterically. What are their functions? Each of us faces change and adjustment as we discover Love to hold new meaning and greater value. Awakening to the higher work, we will explore the masculine-feminine balance, the power of mating, sexual disciplines, and why they have value. In addition, we will find new keys to healthy relationships. $125 Learn moreRegister for this class |
May 16 - 20GRADUATE PROGRAM TRIMESTER II:Technologies for Spiritual Emergence Renewal and Revitalization for Body-Mind-SpiritRev. Margaret Stephens
Humanity has evolved its identity from that of an unconscious member of the collective attuned to the tribal consciousness of the Root Chakra to that of a separate entity, a personality attuned to the consciousness of the Solar Plexus. As we take our next evolutionary step and begin to make the shift, individually and collectively, from attunement to the consciousness of the Solar Plexus to resonant attunement to the Heart Center, we become increasingly aware that we are no longer comforted, no longer relaxed, no longer rejuvenated by many of the familiar tools and techniques. We ask ourselves: Why? This used to work. What am I doing wrong? As we strive to anchor our consciousness in the true Heart Center, we begin to realize that renewal and revitalization is no longer an individual process. It is only through our inner group connection that personality is truly revitalized. Join us this week and learn how renewed purpose - and courage - and some of our familiar tools can help us become the technology that will lead us, as individuals and as a collective, to our next evolutionary step: I AM THAT I AM. $300 non-graduate student / $500 Graduate students This course is open to non-graduate students for $300. Optional afternoon/evening healing or intuitive appointments can be scheduled separately.Plus...(Included in Grad week fee) May 19 - 20 Thurs. and Fri. afternoons Relax and Renew-Yoga Nidra Rev. Tom Simota Be guided into a very deep state of yogic sleep named Yoga Nidra. This ancient, restorative practice is known for allowing your mind to enter an alpha wave state which is more rest-producing than regular sleep. One hour of this practice is equivalent to four hours of regular sleep. We will discuss the basics/styles of Yoga Nidra, continue with some gentle yoga (please wear loose-fitting clothes) and then actually experience Yoga Nidra. Join us and get replenished! June 3 - 5Cleansing the Temple - A Path of PurificationDeb Dise and Scherrill McNutt

Learn about the benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy and how this sophisticated technology can be a kick start in achieving optimal health. Find out what specific natural herbs and supplements support our digestion and elimination process. Learn how to work with and stimulate our body's own natural ability to create balance and a heightened sense of well-being. Participate in creating easy raw food snacks and learn about the top 20 foods that support and transform our health with the power of living nutrients. (Lots and lots of recipes!) $150 Learn more Register for this class |
