Holiday Greetings and Blessings.
Light of Christ Community Church and Sancta Sophia Seminary have experienced a year of change, transition, and many blessings. Those blessings come in the form of your loving support and prayers. We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a Joyous Holiday Season, one filled with good health, much Love, abundance, and Light that shines upon your Path. This is a very special time of a full moon, lunar eclipse and Winter Solstice all within a day. Such an event last occurred more than 400 years ago. Energies now are exalted. May we all be open to the wonderment of the Season.

The Board of Trustees of Light of Christ Community Church is happy to announce that the 29th Annual Homecoming and Conference, "Moving Forward-Looking Upward," was a great success. We were delighted to welcome the 70 people who attended, and we send warm and loving thoughts to those who were not able to be with us this year.
 The Trustees hosted a Welcome Reception on Monday, November 8th and joyfully introduced Rev. Dr. Susan Hamilton as the new Dean of Sancta Sophia Seminary. Dr. Hamilton has a rich and diverse background of experience that uniquely qualifies her to move Sancta Sophia forward into the future while still retaining the vital essence of the ageless wisdom anchored in its curriculum.
Dr. Susan Hamilton begins her tenure as Sancta Sophia Dean on February 1, 2011. She and her husband, Rev. Mark Throckmorton, Executive Director of MANALIVE-Sacramento, Inc., will soon move to Sparrow Hawk Village.
Everyone at Sancta Sophia and LCCC welcomes Dr. Hamilton and is committed to working with her to preserve the esoteric mission of this Wisdom School as it steps into its future of service to humanity.

New Trustee Member at Large Elected
 The Light of Christ Community Church Membership unanimously elected Rev. Patsy Walker Fine, M.A., M.Ed., as the new Trustee Member at Large. Patsy was ordained by LCCC in July 2009 and is the Director of the newest Sophia School of Wisdom, Sophia's Well of Wisdom in Jackson, California. Patsy is currently a graduate student at Sancta Sophia and an Associate of the California School Leadership Academy. Additionally, she is a Certified CMT, and ABMP Somatic Therapist, and Reiki Master Teacher specializing in Contemplative Bodywork. Before her election, Patsy expressed a real love and devotion to LCCC and the future that is envisioned for all its organizational components. |

 On Sunday, November 7, we had a lovely Ordination and Certification Ceremony officiated by Rev. Carol E. Parrish. Our congratulations go to Rev. Mary A. Mendoza and Rev. Sally Burt Muir, as well as our newest Practitioner, Jane Pollard Fridlund. |

 To those who could not be with us for our Annual Homecoming and Conference, you missed an excellent one, and we missed you. It was one of the best conferences we've had, no kidding.
