Dear Friends of Light of Christ Church and Sparrow Hawk Village,
We would like you to join with us by creating right action for the activities and functioning of Light of Christ Church and Sparrow Hawk Village in 2010.
Included below is one of the two meditations which our co-pastors, Rev. Retha Banez and Rev. Robert Willson, wrote for this occasion. We would like you to participate with us for as long as you can.

Light of Christ Community Church
2010 Meditation for Right Action
Short Version
Please use the following meditation at noon in your time zone, and any other time that you would like to use it.
In your mind's eye, visualize a group of people from Light of Christ Community Church sitting in a circle in the sanctuary. Begin by saying,
"We meet in the name of the Christ, by the power of His name and sword, His Love, His Joy, His Divinity. Let the reality of His presence govern our every thought, and His Truth be the Master of our life." Now say:
I am the soul
And also love am I
Above all else I am
Both will and fixed design.
My will is now to lift
The lower self into the light divine.
That light am I.
Therefore I must descend
To where that lower self awaits
Awaits my coming.
That which desires to lift
And that which cries for lifting
Are now at one.
Such is my will.
Visualize an altar in the center of our group. Place on that altar the request for right action for the activities and functioning of Light of Christ Community Church in 2010.
Release all expectations about what should be, asking only that God's will be done. Allow yourself to feel your heart expanding with a great love for God. Be at one with our Beloved. Hold a holy, sacred space for a few minutes. When you are ready, bring your awareness back into the outer world. So let it be, and so it is. Amen.
