From the extreme amount of rain we have had in Oklahoma, we now have the most luscious greenery everywhere. In January we had an extensive amount of damage to the trees from the ice storm. This has been cleared away by road crews, making it easier to travel on the main road to the village.
This month we are focused on our very special Counseling Week as we combine counseling and spirituality in our sessions. On Saturday, June 13, we have a wonderful opportunity for growth and creativity with Julia Carroll's one-day workshop, Healing the Inner Child. And the last two weeks will contain our annual Intuitive Development classes with a special Integral Remote Viewing workshop by well-known psychologist, Dr. Wayne Carr.

The Festival of Humanity, also known as The Festival of the Christ, Festival of Goodwill, and World Invocation Day follows one month after Wesak at the time of the full moon of Gemini. As Lucis Trust tells us, it has the keynote of "humanity, aspiring to God" and blends many different spiritual approaches in one united act of invocation. We are calling on all conscious workers, willing to serve as a point of Light, to gather together on the third of the three major festivals of the year as we prepare to receive the energy of Goodwill distributed during the Festival of Humanity. Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

 Speaking in parable, Master Jesus is reported to have said, "I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly." How shall Humanity respond? As an evolutionary strategy, let's consider a practice of unconditional loving acceptance of life as we know it. As we bless our circumstances and embrace our creations, we become able to surrender limiting perspectives and move forward on the Path. Come and participate as we consciously say, "Yes! to Life."

 In this Sunday's lesson we will focus on ideas from God Talks With Arjuna: The Bhagavad Gita, by Paramahansa Yogananda; "The dance of life and the dance macabre must be unchangingly, immovably, unswervingly perceived from the safe anchorage of the soul consciousness." We will play with techniques that teach us how to let go of our tendency to busily manipulate our 'boats' and drop anchor in the safe harbor of the Soul. We will float. Serene. Calm. Allow. Heal. Free. Be. :)
