GrLinda Olivereetings,
Something very unusual is happening with the wildlife around the village. We have a young buck that is very comfortable, too comfortable around humans. He will let you touch him. He has been seen sitting on the porch of the bookstore and #101. He has the eyes of a dog and will come up to you while on walks through the village. Also, we have two coyotes that have been seen sunbathing on the black-top road to the top of Sparrow Hawk. We must maintain a level of caution; these are still animals of the wild.

We are excitedly working to prepare for the conference attendees and looking forward to greeting old friends and making new ones. The Practitioner's Certification ceremony is Monday, November 3, 2008 and the Graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, November 7. A special evening of Vaudeville entertainment by Rev. Roberta Wilkes and company is planned for Thursday, November, 6.

I am looking forward to seeing you.

Blessings,
Rev. Linda Oliver

Opening Sunday of 27th Annual Homecoming & Conference/All Saints Sunday
Raising the Bar
Rev. Retha Banez and Rev. Robert Willson

Reath Banez in white 150x113Watching the Summer Olympics gave us wonderfulRobert Willson examples of athletes who were so good at their sport that they "raised the bar" for their fellow athletes. When we think of "raising the bar" for our spiritual life, we probably challenge ourselves to do better in some area, not so much as judged by what others do, but as compared with our previous behavior. It takes a lot of "spiritual muscle" to honestly look at a "bad habit", and start to transform it into a "good habit, or a "good habit" into a "better one". What helps our efforts and what gets in our own way?  In times like these we are challenged to bring forth the fullest potential that lies within each one of us.

Renewed Faith
Rev. Carol E. Parrish

bw cepRenewed Faith is sought time and time again as the disciple travels the path. Perhaps it will be a touch, a new love, or an image of the Divine that fulfills our need. Music, the vibration of beauty may lift our spirits or the kiss of an unseen angel. Who knows how it will come? It is important that we realize we all invoke that which fills our heart.

Rev. Marilyn Szoko

Marilyn SzokoWe will examine how to know what our future will be. Will we have happiness, abundance, inner peace, etc.? All we need to know is available to us-we must remember to remember.

Thanksgiving Reflections

Rev. Pamela Ramsfield

pamela ramsfieldAs the holidays are approaching we feel a shift as the year is drawing to a close and a new year is on the rise. This Sunday, we are encouraged to reflect on things, thoughts, moments, and our life experiences. We will experience the art of reflecting and going deeper into our recollections. This deep perspective taps into awe and creates a great thanks-giving.

Officiator: Rev. Peggy Willson
Communion: Rev. Robert Willson

First Sunday of Advent
Advent
Rev. Brenda Cutrell

Brenda Cuttrell Advent is mundanely known as the signal for the beginning of the Church year. Its spiritual significance is that people begin to anticipate and expect a new "something" that will uplift them out of their daily cares; something that they yearn toward. Way back when, it was the hope for the arrival of a Messiah, someone to lead us out of our entanglements (which we are very good at creating). Now every year we look again toward something that will save us, cleanse us, and are hoping for its arrival. Where are the indications that this hope is well founded?

Humanity upon the Scales
Presenter:Tuija Robbins

Tuija RobbinsHumanity is in the midst of a decisive crisis long foretold. From the time the Hierarchy was founded on our planet more than eighteen million years ago, from the time of the ancient Temple of Ibez, the days which are now upon us were anticipated. We have the privilege and onerous responsibility of living through this critical era and of assisting humanity to make the Great Transition which lies before it.

QT Supercharging aura
NEW CLASS ADDED!
November 9 - 10
Sunday 2-5 PM, Monday 9AM-3PM

Advanced Quantum-Touch Techniques
Linda Summer

The techniques in this class will be based on the advanced course in Quantum-Touch (QT) called Supercharging Quantum-Touch. Supercharging Quantum-Touch is a refinement of the standard QT method.

Supercharging accelerates the effectiveness of standard Quantum-Touch techniques: results happen faster, tissue is affected more deeply and your ability to direct energy to a specified area increases. By the time you finish this class, you should find that your energy output has tripled or quadrupled.

Highlights of the class:
*  Amplification-involves becoming highly focused internally
*  Work with the 8th -12th chakra
*  The 12-Color Meditation to re-establish the vibration of health (handout)
*  Learn the U-Nan healing pattern: The primary Universal Cellular Pattern
*  The Elastic Light Bandage-doubles the length of the post-session healing period meaning the tissue continues healing for four to six days.
*  U-Nan: Connecting to Knowledge, Abundance, Love, and Longevity.

Fee: $80
Prerequisite: Quantum-Touch Live Basic

Linda is a graduate of Sancta Sophia Seminary in Tahlequah, OK with a Practitioners certificate in Spiritual Healing and Pastoral Counseling. She serves the Central, Eastern, and Southern Arkansas areas including Little Rock and Hot Springs. Linda is a certified Quantum-Touch instructor and practitioner and is available to travel for either the video or live basic workshops, and Advanced techniques classes.

Please phone the Registrar for more details. 800.386.7161
