Greetings!
This is the time of year when we are busy preparing to welcome "home" our Minister's, Teachers, and Practitioner's for the annual Conference. A time when we come together, some as old classmates, others as newly ordained and certified, to be re-inspired, and to hear about each other's plans for the next year. It is also a time full of special events; Ordination, Graduation and the special two-day presentation are among the highlights. Tuija Robbins will be our special conference presenter. She will lecture on Anubis-Pluto and the Return of Quetsalquatel: Humanity upon the Scales on November 7 & 8. Together we will examine the fascinating relationship between the Pluto/Anubis Mystery and the Mystery of the "Feathered Serpent"-the Solar Angel Who guides every human being into the Mysteries of Initiation and into ultimate freedom as Horus, the Son of the Sun. Following conference, on November 9 & 10, is a recently added new class: Advanced Quantum-Touch� Techniques taught by Practitioner, Linda Summer. The techniques in this class will be based on the advanced course in Quantum-Touch (QT) called Supercharging Quantum-Touch. If you have already taken a Live Basic workshop, you are ready for this next power packed step. We will be unveiling our next year's class schedule soon, so keep checking back to our website for the news, and for any classes we add between now and when the Spring Schedule starts in February. 2008 Graduation Announcement
 Sancta Sophia Seminary will hold its Graduation Ceremony on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 8:00 PM. Students who have completed Foundations of Spirituality and Preparation for Christian Ministry will receive their certificates, and those who have completed their graduate requirements will receive their degrees at this annual event during Conference week. Living Foods as an Adjunct to the Spiritual Path - Janet Allen Defends Dissertation

On Friday, September 18, 2008, Janet Allen presented her dissertation "Living Foods as an Adjunct to the Spiritual Path." Janet's research was astonishing. As a nurse she investigated, compared and contrasted, and compiled statistics on how a raw diet can improve an individual's health: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually as ones diet was changed and kept raw for a period of time. I asked all the hard questions: What about the cold? How much time did she spend, especially in the winter, getting enough foodstuffs to eat for her and her husband? I suppose the bottom line is: Is it worth it? To which Janet responded a strong, "yes!" Janet joined the program nine years ago. Currently her hair is darker than it was then, her disposition better, she looks younger than her years and she is a happy person after six years on this program. I am amazed and proud of her work, and just plain proud of her. Some more photos of the proud Seminary staff and Janet Allen can be found on my blog post dated September 19.
