Greetings,
Our very hot summer in Oklahoma has just turned into the most delightful autumn. The nights are cool and the days are just lovely warm for being outdoors and walking. Don't you just love the changing of the seasons? There is something delightful to look forward to each change of the seasons.
We have started to get prepared for our 27th Annual Homecoming Conference. October will be a busy class month for us. The month will start with the Agni Yoga class with Rev. Carol Parrish on September 29 as we look at the New Ethics for our time.
Skills Day will occur on October 4th starting at 10 a.m. If you are a practitioner, please call and be part of giving readings or healings. We would love to have you join us.
We are having a weekend Shustah class with Rev. Carol Parrish on October 10, 11, and 12. If you are in need of the second class of Shustah, or if you want to perfect your skills with the Shustah cards, this is the class for you.
Training of the Initiate class with Rev. Margaret Stephens will examine the Levels of Consciousness and the Basic Self.
Come, learn and enjoy with us.
Many Blessings and Joy, Rev. Linda Oliver

Sunday, October 5, 10:30 AM Feast of St. Francis Sunday Embracing the Animal Kingdom Rev. Linda Oliver

Sunday, October 12, 10:30 AM The Wonders of Symbology Rev. Carol E. Parrish
Whether simple or complex a symbol holds a reality we may or may not grasp easily. The purpose of symbology is to trigger our awareness to something in a flash. The symbol provides for us what it can. Remember a symbol is to veil and protect a reality until we are able to perceive and use wisely what it has to say.

Sunday, October 19, 10:30 AM Women of The Way Rev. Banez & Rev. Szoko
The power of prophecy among the women of ancient Israel, the seven prophetesses of Israel-S arah, Miriam, Devorah, Chanah, Avigail, Chulda, and Esther-lived between 1800 and 350 BCE. Their combined lives reflect a path of spiritual evolution that is as pertinent to our lives today as it was for the biblical communities in which they lived. How are they each linked to a Sefirah on the Tree of Life?

Sunday, October 26, 10:30 AM Finding Goodness Rev. Bonita Plymale
Seeing the goodness of a person can help us to overcome judgment and criticism when those modes of thinking tempt us to diminish the worthiness of another human being. How often do we draw conclusions about the behavior of others or condemn their thinking? We can become less judgmental and learn to give others the benefit of the doubt. And the added benefit? Our hearts will be lighter for finding the goodness.

Anubis-Pluto and the Return of Quetsalquatel:
Humanity upon the Scales Presenter:Tuija Robbins
Humanity is in the midst of a decisive crisis long foretold. From the
time the Hierarchy was founded on our planet more than eighteen million
years ago, from the time of the ancient Temple of Ibez, the days which
are now upon us were anticipated. We have the privilege and onerous
responsibility of living through this critical era and of assisting
humanity to make the Great Transition which lies before it.

AGNI YOGA: Life from a Modern Ethical Perspective
Rev. Carol E. Parrish,
with contributions by
Rev. Margaret Stephens and Rev. Brenda Cutrell
A
modern approach to spirituality, Agni Yoga emphasizes the daily
practice of ethical living, devotion, and purification of our physical,
emotional, and mental bodies. Formation and application of a living
ethic and development of virtues in the personality are based on a
series of themes, not rigid disciplines. Students learn to integrate
ideology, theology, and service into their lives. The Agni path affirms
the importance of meditation to the work of clearing glamours and
illusions to connect to our inner wisdom. Connections of these
enigmatic teachings to Kabalah and the Bailey materials will also be
explored.

TRAINING OF THE INITIATE:
Techniques of Maturing the Basic Self
Rev. Margaret Stephens
On
the Path of Return the aspirant must learn to develop a loving and
balanced relationship with the instinctual nature, called "basic self"
in the Huna wisdom tradition, and to appropriately utilize each level
of consciousness. During this class the subconscious or basic self
(which remembers everything) will be respectfully invited to move
beyond the defense systems it constructed in its attempt to protect the
vulnerable self within. As the basic self learns to trust the safety of
the class environment, it will be shown how to release old memories and
scar tissue that block the full expression of the authentic inner self.
Harmony and balance can be restored and the conscious mind can
experience a renewed sense of well-being and authentic power.
30 CEU hours for LCSW, ACSW, LADC, CADC
$225/250. includes lunch
October 10 - 12
Friday 7-9 PM, Saturday AM & PM, Sunday PM
Shustah Meditation Tools
Rev. Carol E. Parrish
Shustah
cards, designed to prompt natural intuition, enable one to establish
communication between inner and outer perceptions. Symbols enhance
meditation and divination as they connect us with archetypal energies.
In this class, latent intuition awakens as instruction, experience with
the symbols, and group work are provided. $100. A $30 materials
fee applies to those who need to purchase the Shustah cards and book.
If you already have the Shustah cards and book, please bring them to
class.
October 19 (moved from October 12)
Sunday, 3 - 5 PM:
HEART/MIND BLESSING During
this blessing, the recipient remains fully clothed, lying on a healing
table, while one of the ancient biblical healing oils is intuitively
chosen for him or her. The ritual, inspired by the desire to be in
resonance with the loving compassionate heart of God, establishes a
connection and an energy balance between the heart and the mind. The
blessing takes about 20 minutes and recipients make donations to
support the work of the Wellness Center.
