Sophia in the Workplace
by Cindy McGinnis, MBA

Cindy McGinnisFor decades, even generations, it has not been acceptable to bring religion into the workplace. Although this country has not always been successful in separating church and state, the workplace has been definitive about disallowing religion to enter their doors and interfere with day-to-day activities. It has been an unspoken rule, and in most companies a documented policy, to state there will be no discussion or outward expression of religion in the workplace. This was created to maintain a perceived environment of harmony. Since one's religion is legally not a factor for which an employee can be discriminated against, it became necessary to keep that part of one's life private and not overtly expressed at work.

As humanity evolves and more people seek their purpose in life, the workplace must also shift to remain successful.

Leadership Training Weeks
Rev. Carol Parrish and Team

Carol ParrishLEADERSHIP TRAINING I: Career Preparation
August 4 - 8

Each participant will develop a personal mandala of skills to heighten leadership genius. The team of experienced leaders will offer ideas, tools, and practices to facilitate communication, creativity, and inspiration, as well as practical steps to assist students in manifesting their personal missions. This week will emphasize the gift of teaching and how learning happens, as well as offering instruction in preparing sermons, lectures, and workshops and improving public speaking skills.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING II: Church is a Business
August 11 -15

Many years of experience in church effort forms the foundation for this class, which offers both inspiration and practical know-how in such areas as church structures (including how to become an LCCC charter), simple legal and tax considerations, bookkeeping, and day-to-day operations. Participants identify their personal styles as they learn strategic planning, public relations, advertising, and the ethical considerations of church management. This class is a must for those planning new ministries.
FIGUEIRA Spiritual Center - an Agni Way of Living
by Brenda R. Cutrell, Ph.D.

Brenda CuttrellFigueira is the name of a Spiritual Center in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, where a group of people is living according to certain inner sacred rules. These have a remarkable resemblance to the Agni themes and virtues as depicted by Helena Roerich in the Agni Yoga Teachings, also called the Path of Ethical Living, which were written between 1924 and 1937. The themes and virtues can be found if one carefully studies the inspired books, such as Leaves of Morya's Garden, Infinity, Agni Yoga, Hierarchy, Aum, Fiery World, etc. Agni Yoga is one of the three pearls in Sancta Sophia Seminary's lotus symbol.

I found out about Figueira through the books of Jos Trigueirinho Netto, one of the founders of this Center. Trigueirinho has written 76 books between 1987 and 2008. His talks have produced 1,400 CDs, some of which have been translated into English. Before founding Figueira he held Seminars in various cities of Brazil, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The spiritual center of Figueira was founded in approximately 1987 through the donation of the use of a property to Trigueirinho, and the first meeting there was held on December 2, 1987. From this kernel all that is described in the following pages was developed.

DISCOVERING THE WORK OF JOSE TRIGUEIRINHO
Rev. Carol Parrish and Rev. Brenda Cutrell

Trigueirinho
"There is a call coming from distant constellations, controlled by the Hierarchies that are present on this planet, for human beings to become one with their rightful cosmic heritage."                                                    Trigueirinho

Are you ready to explore the topography of universal life? The cosmos calls.

New evolutionary impulses are being poured down upon humanity in these changing times. Many are preparing their consciousness for the new life through the process of inner transformation. Our work is to build the new energy system and to harmonize the divine feminine impulse as it redesigns old patterns and forms the new.

We will explore the work of Jos Trigueirinho Netto, Brazilian teacher, researcher, writer, and one of the founders of the spiritual center, Figueira. The concepts contained in Trigueirinho's catalog of work provide the understanding needed to awaken within us the awareness of the role we are to play. We will discover:

Where new planetary centers are located
How the feminine influx ignites healing
The development of new etheric centers in human beings

Carol Parrish and Brenda Cutrell will guide us through the work and concepts rarely discussed with others. It is suggested that you read Calling Humanity prior to this week, for best comprehension. Please join us for this fascinating adventure.
