Seminary News
We are happy to announce a major, extra special, birthday will occur in the village on June 30. Our dear Betty Carper is becoming 90 years young. There will be a party par excellence to celebrate this event on August 2, 2008, and know you are all invited. We are hoping that letting you know this far in advance will mean it could be possible for you to join us. Cheers!
The sad news is that Dr. David Minard, of Omaha, Nebraska, whom many of you know, made his transition on May13. His wife, Pat Minard, is doing well. However, when we have such a loss in our lives, it is most important that those who love and care continue to hold her and the family in their hearts and prayers. We are announcing this so you will be able to remember them with healing thoughts. David will be missed; he added a great deal to our classes and discussions. More Seminary News

Dare to Hold a Vision by Carol E. Parrish
As we step, day by day into the new millennium, let us hold a vision
for the new time, for a state of Wellness, a consciousness wherein each
level of our nature is honored. Let us perceive the beauty and the
resources of our planet as of great value, that the Earth herself will
be restored to Wellness. All of us realize how out of balance humanity is on the emotional
level. If you and I are consciously attempting to live harmoniously,
and most of us are, we have to know how much more difficult it is for
those who have no concept of how to discipline this powerful battery we
each contain. Conscious living provides the ideas needed to lift us out
of unconscious responses and impulses and can gift some tools to those
who need assistance. The ancients believed humanity's emotions affected
the weather--storms and droughts. We certainly must bring our emotions
into check and create a loving environment wherein both humanity and
the world of nature can find serenity. Read More

Are You Ill? Or Just Evolving?
by Margaret Stephens
 Although
laughter is often the best medicine, people who are debilitated by the
symptoms of fibro-myalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome might think
that a joke about their condition is a cruel use of humor. But we who are familiar with the daily struggle to function often find
that a good laugh at our own expense is the best antidote -just what
the doctor ordered! - to help bring a new perspective into the
relationship with our disobedient brains and bodies. By
sharing my personal story and the results of many years of spiritual
study, I am asking you to consider ideas that might be unfamiliar about
the cause behind the growing number of people who have been diagnosed
with auto-immune and neurological dysfunctions. Read More

Summer Class Schedule
The summer class schedule has begun and continues through August. We would love to see you "on the mountain" at any time of year, but with summer there comes not only great classes, but the pleasure of spending some of your time playing in Green Country. The Illinois River is Oklahoma's favorite recreational waterway. The Illinois is the only river in Oklahoma that can accommodate
float trips of several days in length. Each year, during the last week of June or the first week of July, we offer a baptism ritual in the river. It is an opportunity to recommit oneself to ones spiritual life. This has become a very meaningful experience in the lives of many. Would you like to join us? Advance registration is necessary. PSYCHOGRAPHY: Regression and Spirit Releasement Therapies training will be offered July 14 - 25. Class size is limited for this 11-DAY TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION, so please reserve your space now. The summer is also full of local arts and crafts shows, with August hosting the Illinois River BalloonFest, a Fiddlers Festival, and Labor Day events, which include the Cherokee National Holiday. We would truly enjoy having you spend a part of your summertime with us. Please contact our Registrar to make your reservations.
