Dear Light Bearers,

We are finishing up a very busy time here in the village as we come out of classes and move into conference time.

We had two wonderful weeks of Spiritual Healing, including Reiki and Quantum Touch. It was wonderful having so many students around campus.

During the second week of classes, we had two days of filming for a segment on innovative educational approaches.  The students were kind enough to serve as "extras" for filming.  We had a few mock classes going on, as well as discussion groups and some other scenes to represent seminary life here.

It was a fun time, and we thank everyone who participated, as well as the generous folks who helped make it possible and all the workers behind the scenes who cleaned and organized and coordinated.

We will announce the air date as soon as we know it, though that may be several months from now.

We hope to see many of you during conference week. John White has a wonderful program planned, and there will be many other things going on. The leaves are already starting to turn, so campus should look particularly lovely.

Then our Brazil group is off to Figueira and will be spending Thanksgiving there. Carol is planning on making a pumpkin pie to share with our Brazilian friends.

The village is planning its own Thanksgiving feast, and you are all invited. Please read on for details.

Blessings to all of you.

The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

"Coming Home Expectations"

angel prayingEagerly we make our journey, set our hopes, and embrace our time together as we gather for our annual conderence. We celebrate the love that binds us to one another in these days of sharing, learning and deep inner work. Our hearts and minds are open to the vibration of the group mind that it might lift and carry us to new places deep within the collective heart. Each of us drink in the amrita to fortify ourselves for future experiences. Eagerly we come home!

"Endings and Beginnings"

chaliceRev. Carol Parrish winds up our conference week this Sunday. All too soon we must depart. We return our chalices filled to the brim to share our joy and inner strength with others who could not be with us. The collective light we build radiates through our participants as they carry it throughout the country to their homes, their groups, and into the world. In such a way, each spirit shares itself with the Oneness that is our true nature. Sad, satisfied, we return knowing we are also always together.

"Abundance and Plenty: Gifts from God"

At Thanksgiving time, we share the abundance of our lives with family and friends. As we give thanks for our many gifts, today's lesson will help us to reflect on our relationship to money and those who produce the material possessions we enjoy.  Rev. Steven Chase asks, what is our responsibility in this Global Village as World Servers and stewards of the gifts we have received from God?
