New and potential members are invited to come early at 6:00 pm for an introduction and orientation.

The meeting of the membership will be held on August 31th, 2009 at 7pm.  We have less than 15 days until the 9/12 March and Rally in Fort Worth.  We have lots of planning and work to do related to the event.

Many of you signed up for Volunteer positions.  We will be going through further details and break up into target areas of interest for volunteers.  Signups for volunteers will also be available.

We have 2 upcoming scheduled fund raising events and will discuss each of them.

1.  Trap Shoot Tournament on Sunday September 6, 2009 at 2pm - 6pm at Alpine Shooting Range.
2.  Labor Day BBQ, Sign Making for 9/12 event and shirt sales for 9/12 event.

In addition, we will be discussing Glenn Beck's call to action that aired on August 28th and how each of you can take part.  We will no longer be silent.

Our yard signs have arrived.  They are $10 and proudly display our Wake Up America Message.  They have been getting great response around town.  We ask that everyone buy at least one possibly two to give to a neighbor.

Come join us at the Alpine Shooting Range in Forest Hill on Sunday September 6, 2009 at 2pm for an afternoon of competition and fun at a Trap Shoot.

Each person will shoot 100 clays and the best scores will win.  After the shoot, we will provide a BBQ meal at the range and an award ceremony.

First Place -- A seat at the table with Judge Andrew Napolitano at the private luncheon on September 12th at Del Friscos in Fort Worth or a shotgun.

The Membership Task Force is having a booth at the Weatherford First Monday Trade Days in Weatherford Texas on the weekend of September 5th and 6th, 2009.  We will be informing people of our group, selling shirts and stickers to raise funds and making people aware of their loss of freedoms.

We need volunteers to go work a few hours in the booth on both Saturday and Sunday to help promote our group.  The Weatherford First Monday Trade Days are well attended and there will be lots of exposure to people in Parker Country.
