Continued offerings in our Marine line
|
 |
|
Wiseco's legacy was built on pistons for marine
applications back in 1941. Since this time, Wiseco
has continued to develop its marine product line. In
fact, Wiseco is the first aftermarket forged piston
manufacturer to offer product for the new 4-stroke
engines for Yamaha applications.
In 2008, 3 new pistons for the Yamaha 4-stroke
engine made their debut. These pistons fit the F115,
F150, F200, and F225. The pistons are made from
dedicated forgings for light weight and superior
strength in the harsh marine environment. Each
piston is matched and balanced to factory weights so
you can replace individual pistons. New for these
pistons was the addition of our new
ArmorGlideŽ skirt coating to
reduce friction and offer quieter operation.
Additionally, reamed wrist pin holes proved a perfect
geometrical surface.
Wiseco is continuing to offer more in 2009 to give you
even better model coverage! These include the
Evinrude E-Tec, Mercury Pro XS, and Yamaha HPDI!

In addition to our full line of clutch components,
Wiseco is offering new clutch kits for 2009!
These
clutch kits give you exactly what you need to get that
old or worn out clutch up and running again. Our
Clutch Pack Kits contain everything you need to
upgrade your worn out clutch plates and springs.
Each kit includes new frictions, steels, and clutch
springs, all made from premium grade materials.
The frictions and steels are made to exact OEM
tolerances and specifications, and produce the same
feel and wear resistance as OEM plates. To ensure a
positive clutch hookup every time, Wiseco clutch
springs are 8 to 10% stiffer than stock. Clutch pack
kits are an easy solution to worn or slipping clutch.
The Wiseco Performance Clutch Kit takes
our
Clutch Pack Kit one step further by including a Wiseco
forged clutch basket and new rubber cushions. Our
forged baskets are tougher and stronger than stock,
and achieve higher fatigue properties than any other
clutch on the market. The hardcoat anodizing wears
like iron and significantly extends the life of the basket
against notching. Also included is a full set of
frictions, steels, and clutch springs made from
premium grade materials. Replace your worn out
clutch and notched basket with the ultimate in high
quality Wiseco clutch components
Give your off-road bike or ATV that factory-racing feel
with a Wiseco Extreme Clutch Kit. Each kit
comes with everything you need for a full clutch
replacement, including a forged clutch basket with
new cushions, forged inner hub and forged pressure
plate - all hardcoat anodized for the perfect feel and
ultimate in wear resistance. Also included is a full set
of frictions, steels, and springs made from premium
grade materials. When you need the best in forged
clutch components, choose Wiseco for that factory-
racing feel and extreme performance!

Continued improvements to Wiseco production capabilities
|
 |
|
You know Wiseco brings you the latest technology in
all its products. This includes continunous
improvements for our manufacturing capabilities. To
date, Wiseco has invested $900,000 in its
manufacturing facility for 2009.
In order to better serve its powersports customers and
to improve delivery to our customers, Wiseco has
invested in new CNC milling centers and CNC turning
machines. Our capability in 4-stroke custom
powersports manufacturing cells have improved to
reduce lead time to our customers. In addition to
many other smaller pieces of equipment to
complement the new CNC machines, these
investments will improve the quality of Wiseco's
finished products, permit more efficient operation, and
