Dear Friends,
Our annual funding appeal comes at a time of widespread economic difficulties. The Forum's Executive Director Randy Coleman-Riese and I realize that enduring economic hardships is part of the price we pay for the privilege of devoting our lives to the work we love. Over the last year, however, we have cut our salaries significantly and our office overhead as much as we possibly can. Any further cuts will come at considerable personal hardship and to the detriment of the projects on which we are now working.
As humbling as it is to be asking for your help in such difficult circumstances, and as grateful as we are for all that our friends and donors have done for us over the years, we are also convinced that the situation we face today in our society makes the work we're doing especially urgent and worthy of support, and we sincerely hope that you will find it so.
In an effort to give you a closer look at our very modest day-to-day operation, Randy has put together a home-movie, behind-the-scenes peek at the Cornerstone Forum's East and West Coast offices. There are links above and below to that roughly 30 minute video, which we hope will give you a better sense of the Cornerstone Forum and how we marshal and deploy the resources you so generously provide.
