| Spiller Law chosen by Filmmakers

|
Spiller Law is proud to be working on the following film projects:
HOMEWORLD. San Francisco filmmakers Phil Hudson and Amy Demmon are in post-production on a film called "HOMEWORLD," an exciting new science-fiction film. A popular film at the American Film Market in November, it has been submitted to the Sundance Film Festival. See the Homeworld website.
I AM THAT GIRL. Actress and Producer, Grace Rowe, stars in this touching comedy/drama about a party girl coming to terms with the real meaning of life. It is currently in post-production. A film with a timely message, it has a wonderfully eclectic and contemporary soundtrack. See the "I am that Girl" website. OUT OF THE SOUTH. Filmmaker Jason Ball produced this documentary about what it's like to grow up as a gay person in the South. A beautiful and moving film, it has resonated among audiences all over and has been well-received at film festivals. See the "Out of the South" website.

"Bottle Shock" movie filmed in Sonoma

Alan Rickman on the set of "Bottle Shock"
As a guest of my friend Todd Harris, I had the privilege of seeing the feature film "Bottle Shock" being shot in Sonoma. Due to be released in 2008, the movie is about the historic 1976 wine tasting competition held in Paris when California wines emerged victorious and "shocked" the world. Produced by Todd, Marc Lhormer and Brenda Lhormer, and directed by Randall Miller, "Bottle Shock" promises to be a "must see" film.

| THE AMERICAN FILM MARKET

Annual Film Foreign Sales Event in Santa Monica
It doesn't get much more "Hollywood" than this. The American Film Market ("AFM") is the place where foreign distributors come to buy films. Held annually at the Loew's Santa Monica, it is the place to see and be seen. And everywhere, deals are being made. In the lobby, the elevator, by the pool. Quite an experience!

Claire Denise Miller
A Prayer request....
As many of you know, my 6 year-old niece, Claire Miller, has stuggled with an inoperable brain tumor for more than a year. She and her family have been through a terrible ordeal that cannot be expressed in words. Your love and prayers have sustained them so far and we thank you.
May I ask that you keep Claire and her family in your thoughts over the holidays. It means so much to all of us. You may follow her brave and hopeful struggle at http://clairedenisemiller.blogspot.com.
