Below are the results from last night's votes: 

CONGREGATION AMENDS CONSTITUTION

TO ALLOW SALES OF GRAVES TO JEWISH

MEMBERS OF EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS

IN GOOD STANDING

By a vote of 28-1, members in good standing

at the March 27 special congregational meeting,

elected to amend the constitution to allow sales of

gravesites to the extended families of members

in good standing.  All other current bylaws and

constitutional requirements for burial remain

unchanged. 

PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL VOTES TO EACH

SPOUSE OF A FAMILY IN GOOD STANDING

IS DEFEATED

By a vote of 17 yes votes -11 no votes with one abstention, members

in good standing at the March 27 special congre-

gational meeting defeated a motion to extend

individual voting rights to both spouses in a

family membership.

The quorum being 29 members present,

a 2/3 vote of 20 was required for passage of

each proposed amendment.
