REMINDER:
Congregational Meeting
Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 7:30 PM

Two Constitutional amendments will be proposed at the March 27 meeting of Congregation Sons of Israel. Voter registration will begin at 7.
These important issues impact the future of our shul in, we believe, a very positive way and we look forward to a robust discussion of each.
Since a congregational vote will be required to move each, it is important to discuss voter eligibility:
Ballots are cast by members in good standing which is defined as no more than one quarter in dues arrears. Members may bring their accounts in order with a payment prior to the meeting.
First Action: A constitutional amendment to provide votes to BOTH spouses of a family in good standing.
Second Action: A constitutional amendment to extend burial eligibility, governed by the bylaws, in the CSI cemetery to the extended family of a member in good standing.
Constitutional amendments require a 2/3 vote of the quorum present.
For those who are not in good standing on March 27, please bring your account to order so you may participate in this important meeting.
