PREPARE YOUR TOES FOR SANDAL SEASON
Healthy Feet and Flowers

Spring is the time of year when buds open into blossoms and toe boxes open into toes. Warm spring weather marks the beginning of sandal season.

Some of you may be chuckling about all the talk of spring and sandals you've been hearing from HealthyFeetStore.com lately.

The famous gardener Thalassa Cruso said of March:

"March is a month of considerable frustration - it is so near spring and yet across a great deal of the country the weather is still so violent and changeable that outdoor activity in our yards seems light years away."

We realize that many of you are still shoveling snow from your driveways, but make no mistake about it, spring is on the way and we want you to be ready for it.

Early spring is an excellent time to begin seriously thinking about toe care. Foot problems like
toenail fungus, athlete's foot, corns, and calluses that were easily concealed in sturdy winter boots, are suddenly on display in a pair of open toed sandals. If you have a foot condition you've been putting off treating in the chilly winter months, we urge you to visit your podiatrist and our foot conditions page to find out how you can improve your foot health and by extension your open toed sandal confidence.
THE SAFE, NATURAL WAY TO TREAT YELLOW NAILS
Pedicure Feet
Dr.'s Remedy Non-Toxic, Antifungal Nail Polish - The Safe, Natural Way to Treat Yellow Nails

As of March 20th Spring is here and your feet are grateful because they're tired of being trapped in boots and sneakers all day and every day. Spring is the beginning of sandal season when toes finally get to come out and play. For fashionable women this means it's time to give yourself a pedicure so that your toes will look pretty when they finally greet the sunshine.

Dr's Remedy Nail Polish ColorsFor both men and women fashion-conscious and otherwise, it may be time to ask yourself a question you've managed to avoid during the winter months: do I have toenail fungus?
If your nails are yellow or discolored and particularly if your nails have become brittle or crumbly, the answer is probably yes.

If you're a gentleman or a tomboy HealthyFeetStore.com offers plenty of unisex nail fungus treatment products to choose from. We recommend starting with our tineacide complete antifungal kit. It's our best seller.

For the girlie-girls among you, keep reading. HealthyFeetStore.com just added a brand new antifungal beauty product: Dr.'s Remedy Non-Toxic, Antifungal Nail Polish. Many of our employees have already fallen in love with Dr.'s Remedy Nail Polish and we think you'll love it too!

Antifungal Nail Polish - Because Concealing Toenail Fungus Doesn't Solve the Problem

Many women find toenail fungus to be unattractive and embarrassing so their first impulse is to cover it up with nail polish. Unless you're using a nail polish that contains antifungal ingredients and is designed to treat nail fungus, this isn't a good idea. If you're wearing nail polish and not treating the nail fungus, the harsh chemicals in the polish will work with the nail fungus to further weaken your nail enamel. Plus, you run the risk of developing athlete's foot since the same fungus is often to blame for both conditions. If you're trying to treat the condition with a topical antifungal cream, ordinary nail polish will create a virtually impenetrable barrier, preventing the medicine from doing its job.
