You can be held in contempt of court and ordered to jail for non-payment of child support. If you are past due in child support, and have the present ability to pay the child support, and you willfully fail to comply with the court order to pay child support, you can be held in contempt of court. If the court finds you in contempt for non payment of child support, you may be ordered to jail and pay attorney's fees. If the court orders you to jail the court must set a dollar amount to pay to get out of jail.

Please give my office a call at (954) 346- 6464 to schedule an appointment to modify or enforce child support payments.
