Greetings! Potter Pals
May was an exhilarating month at International Marine! We completed the Annapolis Spring Boat Show and leaped right into Marina Fest located in Marina Del Rey, CA. Joe Columbe and his new Pink Potter 15, aptly named Pink Floyd, shared the MdR spotlight with us. Newbies to Potter pros were awestruck with the classic cruising fittings used to dressed up Floyd for his 1000 Mile trip to the Delta in San Francisco. Least of which were a set of oars allowing Joe to row, sail or power his way while raising money for "Sail for the Cure".
May found us in beautiful Dana Point, a spectacular Southern California Harbor, for the 12th annual Dana Point Boat Show. There we were joined my noted SoCal Potter Founder , Captain Howie where we lived the dream comfortably staying aboard our pocket cruisers by night and meet and greeting show patrons by day.

And now here is our big surprise. We have purchased one of the original Potter 14/15 built in 1966. The hull lines are very similar to our present model but the shear and the cabin are a little different. In addition she has wooden gunter rigging! This is the ninth boat built in the US by HMS Marine which was the original name of International Marine. Keep an eye on the newsletter and website and we will be restoring this baby to her original beauty while posting all the tips and tricks needed to restore your precious Potter. Let International Marine show you how to take advantage of vintage.
July is approaching at top speed and we are packed and ready to head up to Monterey for the 13th annual Monterey Cruiser's Challenge. This trailer sailor event is sponsored by the longest time-honored group of Potter Sailors the Potter Yachters, established in 1978.
We are also looking forward to catching up with all our northwest pals as we head to beautiful Lake Washington in Seattle for "Kirkland Uncorked" a delightful mix of wine, watercraft, food and fun!
So there you have it friends, summer is here and we are on the move. If you can't catch at the shows please feel free to stop by the office and take a peek at our projects. We never miss a chance to show off.
Hope to see you
Fairwinds
