Happy Spring!
Greetings!

A friend mentioned the other day that in Central Oregon we have three seasons: Snow, Sun & Wind.  I disagree.  We cannot forget Road Construction Season!

Hopefully you can tell that we are mixing things up a bit here at TRUHORSEMANSHIP.  We hope you enjoy Clint's video tips on Spring maintenance for your horse and please be sure to read the article on the changes underway.  We could sure use your suggestions and insights!

Hopefully we will see you in person this Spring.  If not, may you enjoy many wonderful adventures with your horse and we look forward to seeing you soon!

The Times They Are A-Changin'

Our family SO appreciates our relationship with you and we want to enhance that for you and for us.  To that end, we would like to ask you to Join Our Mailing List (to the right).  Of course, if you received this directly from us, you're on our Mailing List, but we've made some changes.  If you click the "Join Our Mailing List" button to the right you will have the option to sign up for specific mailing lists.  We want to send you the information YOU want.

We now have our TRUHORSEMANSHIP Newsletter option for general information from TRUHORSEMANSHIP - with articles from Clint and horsemanship tips and ideas.  We also have the TRUHORSEMANSHIP Clinics & Classes option if you're interested in receiving more detailed information about Clint's upcoming clinics and classes.  As many of you know, we also sell meat and eggs from our farm and ranch business.  When you update your mailing list preferences, you can choose The T-Bone Ranch Newsletter option to receive news about what's going on on the farming and ranching side of the business.  If you are interested in learning about our meat and egg sale option from our pastured livestock and poultry, then you can select the option to receive information on our Farm Sales. You may sign up for any or all of the options - but this way you can get the information that is valuable to you - and avoid the e-mails that are not.

We also need your help!  We would like to send out our newsletter monthly, but we need topic suggestions from you!  Over time Clint will cover frequently asked questions about horse training and care, but we would love more topics!  Feel free to e-mail your suggestions, call or leave a comment on the TRUHORSEMANSHIP Facebook page!

Clint's 2011 Schedule
Hackamore

In May and part of June Clint will be conducting a special class  for those interested in learning more about the hackamore.  "Hackamore Horse: Balanced, Light and Responsive" will be held Thursdays at TRUHORSEMANSHIP Ranch in Terrebonne.

In May we will also host one of Clint's most popular clinics. "Consider the Cow: the Fundamentals of Cow Work" is a beginning cow working clinic.  There are a number of reasons to introduce your horse to cattle.   Some people intend to use their horse for cattle working in the future, others just want to have a new tool to fine tune their horse on.  Still others have heard how incredibly fun cow work on horseback is!

For more information on either the class or the clinic, contact us via e-mail, phone or at our website.
