SIMPLY INFORMATIVE
News & Events from the King of Prussia District
DeKalb Pike median rendering
Rendering of Phase II landscape improvement project.
Landscape Improvement Project Continues

Phase II of the landscape improvement project planned for medians along DeKalb Pike will begin Wednesday, March 21st.

Contractors All Seasons Landscaping and LC Costa Construction will install pavers and plant a variety of lush perennials, grasses, and shrubs that will bring year-round interest to the once barren medians on DeKalb Pike.

The project was designed by LRSLA studio. In order to safely complete the project, periodic lane closures along DeKalb Pike between 9 am-3:30 pm near Brandywine Lane and Ivy Lane will occur for four weeks beginning March 21st.

Phase I of the project was completed in fall 2011 on three medians on First Avenue and two medians on DeKalb Pike. We look forward to seeing them fill out and start to bloom in the coming weeks.

King of Prussia District employs All Seasons Landscaping to remove weeds and trash from the medians weekly and to water during the growing season.

From the Executive Director

Did you know that each day, approximately 15,000 people arrive for work in the King of Prussia Business Park? And only 2% of those employees take public transportation!

With the Norristown High Speed Line extension study about to begin, we wonder...is this our opportunity to create a vastly different Business Park of the future? Is there an opportunity to seamlessly blend commercial office, residential housing, and retail establishments into the Business Park to create a true live/work neighborhood in King of Prussia?

Read my latest blog post to learn about the possibilities for the Business Park of the future!
