Don't skip the flu shot! It could save the life of someone you love!

jeremy Fisk
Dr. Jeremy Fisk

Protect yourself and your family from the flu this season by receiving a

vaccination this fall.

"The easiest way to protect your family from the flu this season is for all who are eligible to receive a flu vaccine," said

Dr. Jeremy Fisk, a family practice physician with Riverview Medical Group. "It is most important for groups over 50 as well as those with compromised immune systems to receive the vaccine since these groups are more apt to be impacted by illnesses linked to flu such as bronchitis and pneumonia."

Prevention is key - take action now!

In keeping with our mission to improve and preserve the health and well being of those we serve, we are pleased to offer a variety of health profiles (conducted by the Riverview Outpatient Laboratory) designed to evaluate your current health status via a simple blood draw.

Planning a Pregnancy - How and Why?

Rasbach
Dr. Adrienne Rasbach

Is there a pregnancy in your future? If the answer to that question is yes, please consider making an appointment with an OB/GYN for a preconception appointment. Why? Evidence repeatedly shows better outcomes with planned pregnancies than unplanned ones. Preconception care provides the opportunity to optimize the health of the mother beforeconception. Being able to identify and modify potential risks to either the mother's health or her pregnancy ahead of time is important for improving pregnancy outcome.
