Visits by Volunteers & Rabbinic Interns
Those in our Jewish community who are homebound, hospitalized, or live in skilled care communities look forward to caring, friendly visits from volunteers with Jewish Visiting Initiative: The Bikur Cholim Project of Jewish Family Service.
But sometimes more than a social visit is needed. Through the Pastoral Care Program, a collaboration of Jewish Family Service and Hebrew Union College, a Rabbinic student intern will visit the homebound and isolated who are not affiliated with a congregation.
