Greetings!

When Martin Luther King Jr. marched for civil rights in 1965, he stood arm in arm with Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, who said, "When I marched in Selma, my legs were praying."

May their memory inspire us to use our legs, hands, and hearts to make a difference in our world. May the values conveyed in PJ books help strengthen the content of your child's character.

We hope this newsletter will help you enjoy and find meaning in teaching your child about the civil rights movement.

Sincerely,

Linda Kean
