Didn't he bow with great deference to the King of Islam in Saudi Arabia? Didn't he proudly proclaim Islam as the faith of his dear and near kindred? Didn't he, time and again, tell us that Islam is indeed the religion of peace? Didn't he with his captivating oratory skills cite passages from the Quran to show how reverent he was toward this religion? Didn't he appoint a raft of "devoted" Muslims to sensitive and high posts in government?

In his Cairo speech, didn't he blatantly mislead the world on how "Islam has been a part of America from the very beginning.........." misleading again about "Islam's magnificent history, its contributions to art, architecture, math, science etc." Didn't the Obama administration pull back all training materials used for the law enforcement and national security communities, in order to eliminate all references to Islam that some Muslim groups have claimed are offensive? Paving the way to exonerate Islam of any wrong doing, e.g. Maj Nidal Malik Hasan's jihadist directed murder of 13 U.S. service personnel at Ft. Hood characterized as 'workplace violence'? Didn't he eliminate traditional National Day of Prayer, yet throws a lavish dinner marking the end of Ramadan in our White House? All those things have backfired now. Because appeasement is a bad policy. You cannot appease a crocodile hoping to eat you last.

Kicks Off Nationwide With Release Of Documentary Short Film Titled "Dishonorable Disclosures"

Former CIA and Special Operations members are announcing the creation of OPSEC, a new nationwide public campaign to combat the spike in leaks and politicization of Intelligence and Special Operations missions that threaten their effectiveness and the safety of Americans who conduct them. OPSEC - short for Operational Security, meaning to eliminate or reduce the exploitation of critical information - will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a new documentary short film highlighting the problem from the perspective of those who have served in these critical positions. The film will also serve as the basis for a TV and online advertising effort.

"Intelligence and Special Operations members are angry and frustrated at how our work has been used for political advantage by officials across government, including President Obama himself who bears special responsibility as Commander in Chief," said Scott Taylor, chairman of OPSEC and a former Navy SEAL. "We want the American people to understand the cost of these leaks and politicization both on those who serve and on our national security and to hold those in positions of leadership accountable if it doesn't stop."

OPSEC is made up of individuals who served their country in the CIA, and Special Operations Forces (SOF) consisting of Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Corps and Air Force Special Operations. It is organized as a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan public education campaign and is independent of any political party or campaign organization.

The campaign will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a documentary short film that views the impact of the increasing number of leaks on Intelligence and Special Operations missions, tradecraft, tactics and capabilities from the perspective of those who have relied on these tools to carryout similar missions and protect themselves and those they served alongside. The film will be shown at events in key states across the country over the next several months, including Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina and Nevada. Political Currency

To get elected, politicians need four things:

  The "Let's Do Better" bus tour will visit with seniors in their communities to discuss their reaction to the controversial health reform care bill passed in 2010. This legislation, which remains unpopular with seniors, cuts Medicare, cripples Medicare Advantage, establishes a "Medicare IRS", and generally provides for a bureaucratic takeover of important health care decisions - all unpopular with seniors.

The tour is a project of the 60 Plus Association.

Events surrounding the tour will include rallies, health care briefings, meet & greets, and townhall meetings. It will also feature health care experts and advocates, as well as the 60 Plus leadership team of Jim Martin, Amy Frederick, and legendary entertainer Pat Boone - who is the national spokesperson for the seniors group.

60 Plus, founded more than 20 years ago and currently supported by some 7.2 million "senior activists", is often referred to as the conservative alternative to the AARP. The group funded by voluntary donations from over a quarter-million donors and does not accept taxpayer funding, unlike the AARP.

And if you think it doesn't matter just take a look at what is happening right now in Wisconsin. Progressives and unions are doing everything they can to make sure that Walker loses. It's a microcosm to what is happening around the country, and Glenn thought it was so important that he recapped it on tonight's show (in under three minutes!):

Dear Friend and Patriot Leader,

As you know too well, unless our friends who fear God, respect our constitution and love freedom unite now and vote in this upcoming election, we will lose the America we have known. Yet remarkably, 15-30% of self-identified Christians are not even registered to vote. If even a small percentage of those joined the fight, it could make the difference in the 2012 election. Making this happen is my highest priority, and once again I need your help.

At the Pennsylvania Pastors' Network (PPN), we have been working very aggressively with pastors across the commonwealth. We're calling on them to stand boldly at the pulpit, preach the truth, and teach the Scripture as it addresses the intersection of policy and Christian culture. At the same time, I'm encouraging them to urge their members to register to vote, and to vote biblically and constitutionally on Election Day. PPN has just embarked on a mass Christian voter registration effort, called  "From Pews to Polls -An Initiative to Protect Religious Freedom in America." We want to reach into every church in Pennsylvania and enlist thousands of new voters. This is where you can help in an easy, but very big way.

First, I need your help to identify churches and pastors. If they believe in the authority of Scripture and that our rights come from God not government, we want to work with them. If you are able to make one or more recommendations of this sort, please click here to be taken directly to our website. Once there, simply supply the requested information, and if you include his or her phone number, we will personally call that pastoror church leader.

If you'd prefer to send information to a church or pastor, please feel free to forward the letter you'll find at the bottom of this email. I sent this letter last week to roughly 2000 pastors across Pennsylvania, but there are thousands and thousands more who need to know about this. As you help us find them, you help restore our foundation. We'll be able to discreetly and confidentially determine which members of each congregation are registered to vote. This information will be sent directly to the Pastoror another church member and we will assist them in the enlistment of his congregation in reclaiming a Christian founded America. It's easy, it's confidential, and may make all the difference.

The next step will be up to you. We want to make it as easy as possible so we've done all the preparation and have absorbed all the cost in order to provide you the following:

• Online Voter Registration Drive Kit - This kit has everything you need to plan and implement a voter registration drive in your church.  September is the month to do this, as the deadline to register is the first week of October in most states. (Church organized voter registration efforts are completely legal and appropriate.)
• Registered Voter Look-Up Service - We will confidentially identify those in your church membership who are not registered to vote and return that information to you.
• Follow-Up Email - We will send or provide a template for a personal email from you or me asking unregistered members to register online or to register at a church registration drive during the month of September.
• Early Voting Information - We will provide information and assistance in helping members of your congregation to vote by Absentee Ballot if they cannot be physically present on Election Day in November.

The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq

Daniel Greenfield's new Freedom Center pamphlet, The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq, is an effort to understand the politics of the "war on terror" which has now reached a final punctuation point with the U.S. decision to speed its withdrawal from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan (where success was once deemed so crucial to national security), and to practice an incoherent form of regime change in Libya while ignoring more serious threats in Syria and Iran.

The war on terror began, Greenfield shows, as an admirable bipartisan commitment soon after the tragedy of 9/11-an effort to transcend party lines not only to punish those who attacked our country but also to interrupt planning for further attacks and try to stop the international spread of the Islamic jihad behind the attacks. But the Democratic Party, with the honorable exception of a few individuals like Richard Gephardt and Joe Lieberman, turned its back on a war soon after authorizing it, and did so at a time when American troops were facing hostile enemy fire.

Although Senate Democrats on the intelligence oversight committee had been granted access to every piece of data available to the White House, they now accused President Bush of tricking them to secure their approval. In fact, their own about-face was entirely dictated by political considerations when a Sixties antiwar activist, Howard Dean, surged ahead in the Democratic primary polls and it appeared for a moment that Americans were on the side of retreat and capitulation.

Although regime change in Iraq had been official U.S. policy since Bill Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, Democratic senators such as John Kerry who only months earlier had supported the war effort now launched demoralizing attacks on the American commander-in-chief and his troops in the field, stigmatizing it as "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." If the truth was the first casualty of their war against the Bush administration, the second casualty was the principle of bi-partisanship that had guided foreign policy debates throughout the Cold War, the principle that "politics stops at the water's edge." Now partisan politics trumped security.

The unrestrained attacks on the Iraq War as illegal and unjustified went largely unanswered by Republicans who failed to call the Democratic saboteurs of the nation's war effort to account or to decry the risk their cynical attacks posed to American servicemen and women on the battlefield. As Greenfield demonstrates, the Democrats' partisanship had consequences not only in Iraq but elsewhere in the region: the paralysis that resulted from their "anti-war" campaign led straight to the destruction of Lebanon and the installation of a terrorist army, Hezbollah, there as a regime within a regime. And it emboldened an overtly Islamofascist regime in Iran not only to supply the IEDs responsible for most of our troop fatalities in Iraq but also to proceed with a nuclear program aimed directly at Israel and the West.

The Great Betrayal shows that Barack Obama's abandonment of Iraq is a betrayal of all the Americans and Iraqis who gave their lives to establish freedom in that country. And the result of his policies in Afghanistan has been as disastrous. While the President presented his rationale for pursuing war there as the pursuit of al-Qaeda, after abandoning his "surge" (which resulted in two thirds of all America's Afghan casualties there and the resurgence of the Taliban allies of al-Qaeda), he blithely prepared for withdrawal as if national objectives had been met.

"Losing our Sons": Documentary looks at domestic Islamic radicalization and jihadization

Charles Jacobs at Americans for Peace and Tolerance announced today the release of a trailer for their upcoming documentary, "Losing Our Sons", featuring Melvin Bledsoe - father of domestic terrorist Carlos Bledsoe aka Abdulhakim Mohamed who gunned down US Army recruiter Pvt. William Long at an Army-Navy recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas in June 2009. Melvin Bledsoe testified at the House Homeland Security Committee hearing earlier this month.

The upcoming documentary discusses how Bledsoe was radicalized by the Muslim Student Association in Tennessee and sent to terrorist training in Yemen with the written recommendation of the imam of a Nashville mosque. It also discusses how the agents of radicalization in the Nashville Muslim community have been aided by collaborators in the establishment media, politics and the so-called "interfaith" community.

Are You Registered to Vote? Do You Have a Photo ID? Do They Match?

According to the U.S. Constitution all American citizens 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, color, religion, or creed, whether male or female, have the right to vote.  However, voting in Pennsylvania this year will be a bit more complicated than prior years due to the new Voter ID law.  A dedicated group of Main Line citizens are doing what they can to make sure that you can exercise that right on November 6th. 

A small table located at Gateway Shopping Center (near Trader Joes and Great Earth Vitamins) is staffed with volunteers on weekends who will assist you by:

• Providing voter registration forms
• Helping people to complete their voter registration form
• Providing absentee ballot application forms and completion instructions
• Providing up to date information on the voter ID requirements

Additionally, if anyone has a question that the volunteer on duty is unable to answer, we will take their name, email address and/or phone number and get back to the questioner with an answer.

The table will be staffed every Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm and every Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm now thru October 7th.

We recommend that everyone check to make sure that (1) you are still registered to vote and that (2) your voter registration name exactly matches your name on the photo ID that you plan to use on Election Day.  To confirm that you are registered, go to www.can9/10/12ivote.org . Select Pennsylvania; then click on Find Voter Registration Status.  Entering your personal data will allow you to confirm that you are registered and provide you with the address of your polling place.

Some may question whether citizens in our area really need help in registering to vote.  When this service was provided in 2008 over 1000 people registered at the table!  Volunteers assisted citizens from the 5-county Philadelphia area and Lancaster, Berks, and Lehigh Counties. 

Key dates for this fall's election are:

10/9 - last day that Voter Registration forms will be accepted by Voter Services

10/30 - last day that Absentee Ballot applications will be accepted by Voter Services

11/2 - last day that completed Absentee Ballots will be accepted by Voter Services

11/6 - Election Day

1. Today the Media Will Probably Blame Bush

Last night Fox News broke the story that the mastermind of the attack in Libya had been released from GTMO in 2007 during the reign of George Chimpy McBushitler Halliburton and his evil Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, also known as Barack Obama's Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

But wait . . . there's more. The United States had advance warning of the attack and only sent Marines in to secure the facility after it had been blown up and after the American Ambassador had been dragged through the street dead. Otherwise, the Consulate was guarded by locals. We also are now pretty certain there was no riot in Libya, just an attack.

The Administration's whole story around what happened and what they knew is now collapsing. Were George W. Bush the President, the media would be going blind in the Politico's bathroom coming up with stories about "impeachment whispers" or "echoes of the Tet Offensive" or "where is Walter Cronkite when we need him" or some such.

As the sun rises this morning, look for the media to start blaming George W. Bush. After all, the mastermind was let out in 2007 when Barack Obama's first Secretary of Defense was in charge of the Pentagon . . . or something like that. Expect the media to ignore the advanced warning and lack of inaction by Barack Obama's administration because, after all, they are victims within the 47% of Americans Mitt Romney hates . . . or something like that.

But most importantly, we should expect the media to totally and completely ignore that just two weeks ago the Democratic National Convention adopted a party platform insisting on the closure of the prison at Guantanamo Bay - a prison facility Barack Obama supported defunding in 2005. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →

2. Glenn Kessler's Lack Of Integrity On Parade

A few days ago I wrote a piece, only partly tongue in cheek, proposing an auto-ban on anyone who quoted any of the media "fact checkers" to bolster their argument. My reasoning is that quoting a "fact checker" is merely laundering someone else's opinion as fact and that constitutes both sloppy thinking and a lack of good faith.

By obsessing over the 14-minute YouTube Muhammad video and its maker, the mainstream media ultimately exonerates the inexcusable and murderous response of the Islamic world.

There is only one question: did those who make this movie break any law? No, they did not-and so the matter should end there, and the media should move on. Focusing on those who did not break any American laws as a way to take the focus off those who murdered and initiated an act of war against the United States is not only misleading; it validates and gives Islamic blasphemy laws precedence over American freedoms.

Worse, even if making movies deemed offensive to Muslims was illegal in the U.S., the fact is, these embassy attacks, which "coincidentally" began on September 11, have nothing to do with the movie. On September 10, I wrote an article titled "Jihadis Threaten to Burn U.S. Embassy in Cairo." The demand that the U.S. release its imprisoned jihadis, including the Blind Sheikh, was behind these threats. There was no mention of "offensive movies." My source, El Fagr, an Arabic website, reported all this on September 8.

In other words, several days before Muslims were angry about this movie they were threatening to burn down the U.S. embassy in Cairo.

The Graveyard of Neo-Conservatism

While Maureen Dowd warns that the neo-conservatives are coming back, an event surely worse than the siege of American embassies and the murder of American ambassadors, she can rest her head easy on that account. The neo-conservatives died in the siege of Benghazi, much like Mubarak they are still around, but completely irrelevant in the way that most ideas are once they lose their meaning.

 

Dowd would know better than to celebrate the death of neo-conservativism, if she understood what that really meant, beyond the shadowy menace that her dinner party guests tell her about before the main course is served.

In the Middle East, neo-conservatives offered a middle ground between appeasement and belligerence that blended Cold War politics and Third World democracy outreach. The ideas that made so much sense when former liberals were confronting the nightmarish repressive powers of the Soviet Union met their end in the Middle East for reasons that neither they nor their ideological enemies can explain.

Democracy only works when the character of the people is better than the character of their government. It works very badly when the character of the people is actually worse and the existing system serves much the same purpose as bars in a tiger cage do. The neo-conservatives were unprepared to grapple with such troubling notions. They were very methodical in laying out the moral case against Saddam Hussein, but they were unprepared to cope with the notion that Iraq's ruler might have reflected the moral level of a significant portion of Iraqis.

My conversation with Mr. Schlessinger illicited the following comments after I voiced my concern about hosting a contingent that has said they will use nuclear weapons to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews.

Well, actually, this is only my second week on the job, so I was not really involved.

The hotel hosted Iran last year and the day after the Iranians left, I have been told that there were no negative comments and business was not hurt.

I don't want to get involved in politics.

Well, I have never been to Iran, have you.  I don't know what kind of leadership they have.

I told him the potential for losing business is much greater than the business they will be receiving.These are such scary times.

On February 27, 1933 at about 9:25 PM a fire in Germany's Reichstag building was detected. The Reichstag building was the assembly place for the German Parliament. After a brief "investigation" Adolph Hitler's Nazis, who had already begun to take control of Germany, arranged the arrest of a Dutch Communist who was charged with the arson.     

The fire and the destruction it brought  was blamed on this handy scape goat, and Heir Hitler then pointed to him and used the fire as a reason for demanding dictatorial powers over Germany. Civil liberties soon started to disappeared and mass arrests of Hitler's enemies were carried out. Soon Heir Hitler and his Nazis had absolute power.

Government Dependency Rises As Number of Taxpayers Declines

The leak of a video featuring former Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA) has sparked debate about government dependency and the number of people in the United States who do not pay federal income tax.

In the video, Romney refers to "47 percent" of Americans and says that they are "dependent upon government" and "pay no income tax." While these groups are not necessarily one in the same, there is overlap between the two, and the percentages on government dependency and non-tax-paying are very similar.

It is true that nearly half of all tax filers-those who are filing an income form with the IRS-pay no federal income tax. It's also true that millions of Americans receive direct government support in a host of ways, including income, food, housing, medical care, school lunches, and more.

In 2009, 47 percent of all tax filers paid no federal individual income taxes, and in 2011 that figure was 46 percent. This raises a crucial question, as Heritage's Alison Fraser points out: "Should nearly 50 percent of Americans really be exempt from funding the most basic constitutional functions of government-along with education, food stamps, energy, welfare, foreign aid, veterans' benefits, housing, and so forth?"

It stands to reason that those who have skin in the game-who are helping to pay for all of the government programs-will be more concerned about reining in out-of-control government spending, because they see their taxes going up and the country's credit rating going down.

On the other hand, if you are on the receiving end of government benefits, that is likely to color your perception of how taxpayers' money should be spent. According to the Heritage Foundation's 2012 Index of Dependence on Government, 63.7 million Americans, or about one in five, is receiving direct government support from Social Security, welfare, or Pell Grants-and that is at its highest level ever.

These individuals are very likely to be receiving additional benefits from other government programs such as Medicare or Medicaid, food stamps, etc., and the total share of Americans receiving benefits is likely to be even higher when considering benefits available on everything from housing to school lunches. The Wall Street Journal found that in 2011, 49 percent of Americans lived in a household where at least one member of the family received a government benefit.

Heritage has been publishing the Index of Dependence on Government for the past 10 years, and the Center for Data Analysis offered a preview yesterday of what next year's report will look like, as it updates with the most recent data becoming available for 2011.

The outlook is grim: Government dependency is jumping for the fourth year in a row, and the Index has risen more than 31 percent in that time.

This is bad news for three reasons. First, the economy is so weak that people are going to the government for help. This is a stark repudiation of President Obama's big-spending, "spread the wealth around" approach, because "giving everyone a shot" does not work unless the "shot" comes at the expense of the taxpayers.

Second, the nation can't afford to continue increasing spending on these programs, as President Obama has proposed in each of his budgets. Federal spending is exploding-and it is already an eye-popping reality that 70.5 percent of federal spending goes to dependency-creating programs. We are spending more on dependency-creating programs while an ever-shrinking number of taxpayers are paying for them.

But third, and most importantly, it's bad for Americans. The American Dream is about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, through independence-not dependence on government. Government dependency erodes human dignity and civil society.

These programs were originally designed to help those who fall on hard times and need a safety net. Public policy should head back in that direction. The welfare reform of 1996 helped lift recipients out of poverty and back into jobs by requiring, among other things, that they work. President Obama has undone that requirement. And there are dozens more anti-poverty programs that should be revamped to help those who are able toward self-sufficiency.

At the same time, we must address the looming entitlements crisis: 78 million baby boomers are heading into retirement, and many of them will be entirely dependent on Social Security and Medicare for their income and health care. This dependency is a huge driver of future budget deficits.

We cannot continue on a course of unlimited government spending when fewer and fewer taxpayers are paying for that spending. That is the financial fact. But we also cannot sustain the American Dream on this course-and that is a fact that is intensely personal for every American.

Urge Governor Brown to Veto California's Anti-Detainer Bill TODAY!

We need your help fighting California legislation that outright seeks to thwart immigration enforcement. In late August, the California Legislature passed AB 1081and sent the legislation to Governor Jerry Brown. This bill requires state and local law enforcement agents to ignore U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers unless the alien has been convicted of a "serious" or "violent" felony. Even more appalling, even in cases when an alien has been convicted of a serious or violent felony, AB 1081 allows California law enforcement agents to ignore ICE detainers if they so desire. AB 1081 now sits on Governor Brown's desk. If he does not veto this bill by September 30th, the bill will a utomatically become law.

Please call Gov. Brown immediately and urge him to veto this legislation! Tell him:

1. Releasing criminal aliens back onto the streets jeopardizes public safety. ICE has removed over 20,000 criminal aliens from California this year alone - hardly surprising when one considers that California has the highest illegal alien population and the highest criminal alien population. If the Governor signs AB 1081, California prisons and jails will begin releasing most - if not all - of these criminal aliens back onto the streets. This not only affects the public safety of Californians, it affects the public safety of all Americans. Under AB 1081, instead of being deported, these criminal aliens will be free to go to any neighborhood in the nation.

2. If the Governor signs AB 1081, California governments risk losing federal funding. ICE Director John Morton has warned that he may stop reimbursing jurisdictions with anti-detainer laws for the cost of incarcerating criminal aliens. (Read Morton's letter to FAIR here ) The State of California is the largest recipient of such reimbursements in the country, receiving $96 million from the federal government to offset the costs of incarcerating criminal aliens in 2011 alone. If California law enforcement agencies no longer receive this federal funding, it could severely hamper their law enforc ement efforts, and their ability to maintain their budgets.

Please call Gov. Brown immediately and urge him to veto this legislation! Remember: Gov. Brown has until September 30 to affirmatively veto this legislation. If he fails to take action, the bill will automatically become law.

Ignore Anti-Mitt Media

Left-wing media pundits are doing everything they can to distort Mitt Romney's comments at a fundraiser three months ago. Don't fall for it, my friends.

They are suggesting that Mitt Romney was insulting the elderly and our soldiers when he said 47% of the country doesn't pay taxes and thinks of themselves as victims. That's nonsense. People on Social Security have paid into Social Security for decades. The GOP is the party committed to maintaining a strong national defense. It's the Democrats who want to gut the defense budget, which would put our troops in the unemployment line!

The talking heads want you to believe that Mitt Romney doesn't care about people. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Romney was asked a political question about winning the election and he offered a political answer, not a policy answer. Based on all the polling and recent election results, the country is narrowly divided. Mitt Romney correctly said that he is focused on winning over the five to ten percent of voters who are undecided.

Obama and his radical allies have spent the last four years dividing the country. They may talk about the 1%, but they don't mean just millionaire and billionaires. Their policies are aimed at you. His latest proposal calls for raising taxes on everyone in 2014!


More Pro-Obama Media Bias

Did you catch Barack Obama on Dave Letterman's show last night? Yes, even at 11:30 at night, I am keeping an eye on our socialist president. Then I have nightmares for the rest of the night! Obama made two statements last night that should be news. One was a lie. The other was stupid.

First, Obama asserted that even though 47% of the country voted against him in 2008, when he took office he made it clear that he was going to be president of all the people.

Really? He has completely ignored the interests of that 47%. He refused to work with the Republican congressmen they elected to Congress. He refused to let them read the legislation his majorities were cramming down their throats.

He has constantly played the class warfare card. He has played the race card in situations where previous presidents would have been extremely cautious in order to avoid exploiting racial divisions.

Other than in the conservative media, I have not heard anyone in the "main stream" media question Obama's assertion that he has tried to represent everyone.

Later in the show, Letterman asked Obama about the national debt, and asked Obama if he knew how big the debt was. Obama could not give him an answer.

If a Republican candidate can't provide on demand the exact price of a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk or the exact figure of the minimum wage, there is nothing but outrage and ridicule from the press. But when this president appears clueless about the size of the national debt, it's a non-issue. It was a performance that only a liberal Democrat could get away with.

After taping his Letterman appearance, our man of the people president, who has no idea how much debt he has racked up, went to unwind at a fundraiser hosted by Beyonce and Jay-Z. Tickets were $40,000 each. According to the New York Times, the event had "memorable touches," such as a pyramid of champagne bottles valued at more than $100,000. Obama parties with $800 bottles of champagne while millions of Americans sign up for food stamps.


Obama's Foreign Policy Fiasco

Barack Obama's foreign policy has been one fiasco after another. The latest example is the growing chaos in Afghanistan. George W. Bush went after Al Qaeda and its Taliban backers after the 9/11 attacks. Obama even said that was the "good war." But it's not going so well now.

It was announced this week that joint operations between coalition and Afghan forces were being suspended. Why? Because more than 50 coalition soldiers have been killed by the Afghans they were trying to train. In addition, the Taliban pulled off a surprise attack on Camp Bastion that killed two Marines and destroyed at least six Harrier jets, each one costing more than $30 million.

Now get this: According to press reports, neither our British allies nor the Afghan government were informed by the Obama Administration about plans to end the joint operations!

After four years of Obama, the Middle East is in flames. Iran is closer to achieving nuclear weapons. Israel is increasingly isolated. China is threatening to seize islands in the Pacific, while a Chinese mob just attacked our ambassador in his car. Canada is looking for other buyers for its vast oil supplies because Obama rejected the Keystone pipeline.

America's enemies smell weakness.
    

Uh oh: France paper publishes Muhammed cartoon

France is shutting down 20 embassies around various Muslim nations after a paper published a racy cartoon about the prophet Muhammed. The pictures feature Muhammed naked and other graphic images that were certainly meant to provoke a strong reaction. Glenn reacts to the latest threat on radio today.
