Experts Tell Beck About Islamists' Chilling 'Ten Year Plan' for the West

There are two positions one can take regarding the Iranian nuclear program: (a) it doesn't matter, we can deter them, or (b) it does matter, we must stop them.

In my view, the first position - that we can contain Iran as we did the Soviet Union - is totally wrong, a product of wishful thinking and misread history. But at least it's internally coherent.

What is incoherent is President Obama's position. He declares the Iranian program intolerable - "I do not have a policy of containment; I have a policy to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon" - yet stands by as Iran rapidly approaches nuclearization.


A policy so incoherent, so knowingly and obviously contradictory, is a declaration of weakness and passivity. And this, as Anthony Cordesman, James Phillips, and others have argued, can increase the chance of war. It creates, writes Cordesman, "the same conditions that helped trigger World War II - years of negotiations and threats, where the threats failed to be taken seriously until war became all too real."

This has precipitated the current U.S.-Israeli crisis, sharpened by the president's rebuff of the Israeli prime minister's request for a meeting during his upcoming U.S. visit. Ominous new developments; no Obama response. Alarm bells going off everywhere; Obama plays deaf.

The old arguments, old excuses, old pretensions have become ridiculous: 

----- Did You realize............

1) That many Arab Newspapers are now reporting that the Libyan Ambassador was sodomized before they dragged his body thru the streets in front of cheering crowds while they burned our flag?

 Instead, Chris Mathews, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS reports that his body was "carried" to a nearby hospital. His body went missing for 5 hours!

2) When informed of the attack on our Embassies, Hillary Clinton immediately apologized (once again) to the terrorists that attacked our Country and our flag and said his body was carried to a nearby hospital.

3) The "Mainstream Press" is trying to blame the killings on a film that has no name, is appearing in no theater, and no one who I know has ever seen. The fact that this attack took place on 9/11 has no relevance to the Obama Worshippers in the press.

4) The weapons used in the attack were military weapons given to our enemies by the United States, and Obama hasn't cut off 1 dime of the Millions that we send to this Country. What a joke

5) Obama tells us that "We will find the Killers" We found the killer at Ft Hood 2 years ago, and he sits in a prison cell with his big screen TV and his Koran, while Obama and Holder try to delay his trial until after the Election is over.

6) After Mitt Romney announced a Press Conference the next morning, Hillary immediately called her own "conference" and talked to us like we were in the 1st grade, later Obama did the same. Did ya Notice?

Romney took questions, Clinton and Obama did not. Someone asked Obama if the attack was an act of war, he wouldn't respond....and went out west to campaign, missing the Security Briefing.......... Since then, neither has taken questions.

Why is it? As we approach the Election..............

 That suddenly there are no more Anti War Marches, no more screaming from the Hollywood Liberals, no "Wall Street" protests, no reports on the flood victims in Mississippi, the Gas Prices, and no report of the downgrading of the USA on Friday?

     We all know the answer, but I'm puzzled by the fact that many people

       Still don't get It, including some people that I know personally!

Could it be that some people simply don't want to admit the mistake that they made by voting for the worst Presidency since the Jimmy Carter years? 4 more years of the President on Training Wheels will put the final nail in our coffins. Get ready for higher taxes of all sorts, even higher Gas Prices, more devaluation of our home prices, Government "Health Care", and more intrusion into everything that we do.

On this 911 Anniversary date, we pray for all the victims of the abominable terrorist attacks--and the loved ones they left behind.

We also pray for all Americans as one of the most important elections in our nation's history draws near.

We pray for Governor Mitt Romney, Congressman Paul Ryan, and our other endorsed candidates as they head into the final stretch of the 2012 campaign.

We pray our movement will use our resources--time, energy, money--as effectively as possible in the next few months to win the White House and gain control of both houses of Congress.

In that vein, we humbly suggest that no matter what issue you're asked to rally for--that you hold-off on taking road trips to Harrisburg and/or DC, etc., until after the November election.   

The only issue we should be focusing so much time and energy on is defeating Barack Obama!

If a rally's purpose does not have that goal in mind--please don't waste the time.  Instead, volunteer at a Victory Office or a local Congressional office.  (An office near you can be found @ www.IndependenceHallTeaPartyPAC.com.)

The most effective thing we can do in the present is to use our precious resources for

Get Out the Vote efforts.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't call, fax, or email Governors and/or other elected officials regarding important governmental matters.  It just means we don't have the luxury of taking 12 hour trips that won't remove Barack Obama from the White House.

Take healthcare, for example.  In Pennsylvania, Rep. Matt Baker's opt out of Obamacare bill, HB 42, has been voted out of committee, but languishes before the full House and the Senate.

If you live in PA, we ask that you call Governor Corbett, House Majority Leader, Mike Turzai, and Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi.  Ask them to Enact HB 42

and stop the establishment of Obamacare Health Exchanges in PA.

Kicks Off Nationwide With Release Of Documentary Short Film Titled "Dishonorable Disclosures"

Former CIA and Special Operations members are announcing the creation of OPSEC, a new nationwide public campaign to combat the spike in leaks and politicization of Intelligence and Special Operations missions that threaten their effectiveness and the safety of Americans who conduct them. OPSEC - short for Operational Security, meaning to eliminate or reduce the exploitation of critical information - will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a new documentary short film highlighting the problem from the perspective of those who have served in these critical positions. The film will also serve as the basis for a TV and online advertising effort.

"Intelligence and Special Operations members are angry and frustrated at how our work has been used for political advantage by officials across government, including President Obama himself who bears special responsibility as Commander in Chief," said Scott Taylor, chairman of OPSEC and a former Navy SEAL. "We want the American people to understand the cost of these leaks and politicization both on those who serve and on our national security and to hold those in positions of leadership accountable if it doesn't stop."

OPSEC is made up of individuals who served their country in the CIA, and Special Operations Forces (SOF) consisting of Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Corps and Air Force Special Operations. It is organized as a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan public education campaign and is independent of any political party or campaign organization.

The campaign will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a documentary short film that views the impact of the increasing number of leaks on Intelligence and Special Operations missions, tradecraft, tactics and capabilities from the perspective of those who have relied on these tools to carryout similar missions and protect themselves and those they served alongside. The film will be shown at events in key states across the country over the next several months, including Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina and Nevada.   The "Let's Do Better" bus tour will visit with seniors in their communities to discuss their reaction to the controversial health reform care bill passed in 2010. This legislation, which remains unpopular with seniors, cuts Medicare, cripples Medicare Advantage, establishes a "Medicare IRS", and generally provides for a bureaucratic takeover of important health care decisions - all unpopular with seniors.

The tour is a project of the 60 Plus Association.

Events surrounding the tour will include rallies, health care briefings, meet & greets, and townhall meetings. It will also feature health care experts and advocates, as well as the 60 Plus leadership team of Jim Martin, Amy Frederick, and legendary entertainer Pat Boone - who is the national spokesperson for the seniors group.

60 Plus, founded more than 20 years ago and currently supported by some 7.2 million "senior activists", is often referred to as the conservative alternative to the AARP. New Host Church Requested for Replacement

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the venue for the Whippany, NJ event needs to withdraw from being our host on Wednesday, September 26^th.

The event world is full of surprises. Cancellations happen. This is a fact of life unfortunately.

Because we have already made travel arrangements, we would still like to be in the New York area and we are looking for a church that would be willing to host us for the same date. We also realize that so many of you have already made arrangements to attend.

We need a church with an average attendance of at least 500 on a Sunday morning. If you have a New York City area pastor who is willing to host us on September 26^th, please email us at events@actforamerica.org no later than Monday, September 17^th.

Last night, Glenn focused on the importance of commitment. He was the first to admit, a lot of last night's show was something you had heard before - but it's important to start at the beginning and to make sure you know what you believe before you get put into action. And tonight, Glenn revealed ways for you to really get moving! 

Tonight, the focus of the show was "Activate" - and it was all about the election and how you can make sure that one way or another - 2012 is a year for a mandate for or against the progressives. And if you think it doesn't matter just take a look at what is happening right now in Wisconsin. Progressives and unions are doing everything they can to make sure that Walker loses. It's a microcosm to what is happening around the country, and Glenn thought it was so important that he recapped it on tonight's show (in under three minutes!):

Dear Friend and Patriot Leader,

As you know too well, unless our friends who fear God, respect our constitution and love freedom unite now and vote in this upcoming election, we will lose the America we have known. Yet remarkably, 15-30% of self-identified Christians are not even registered to vote. If even a small percentage of those joined the fight, it could make the difference in the 2012 election. Making this happen is my highest priority, and once again I need your help.

At the Pennsylvania Pastors' Network (PPN), we have been working very aggressively with pastors across the commonwealth. We're calling on them to stand boldly at the pulpit, preach the truth, and teach the Scripture as it addresses the intersection of policy and Christian culture. At the same time, I'm encouraging them to urge their members to register to vote, and to vote biblically and constitutionally on Election Day. PPN has just embarked on a mass Christian voter registration effort, called  "From Pews to Polls -An Initiative to Protect Religious Freedom in America." We want to reach into every church in Pennsylvania and enlist thousands of new voters. This is where you can help in an easy, but very big way.

First, I need your help to identify churches and pastors. If they believe in the authority of Scripture and that our rights come from God not government, we want to work with them. If you are able to make one or more recommendations of this sort, please click here to be taken directly to our website. Once there, simply supply the requested information, and if you include his or her phone number, we will personally call that pastoror church leader.

If you'd prefer to send information to a church or pastor, please feel free to forward the letter you'll find at the bottom of this email. I sent this letter last week to roughly 2000 pastors across Pennsylvania, but there are thousands and thousands more who need to know about this. As you help us find them, you help restore our foundation. We'll be able to discreetly and confidentially determine which members of each congregation are registered to vote. This information will be sent directly to the Pastoror another church member and we will assist them in the enlistment of his congregation in reclaiming a Christian founded America. It's easy, it's confidential, and may make all the difference.

(Church organized voter registration efforts are completely legal and appropriate.)
• Registered Voter Look-Up Service - We will confidentially identify those in your church membership who are not registered to vote and return that information to you.
• Follow-Up Email - We will send or provide a template for a personal email from you or me asking unregistered members to register online or to register at a church registration drive during the month of September.
• Early Voting Information - We will provide information and assistance in helping members of your congregation to vote by Absentee Ballot if they cannot be physically present on Election Day in November.

The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq

Daniel Greenfield's new Freedom Center pamphlet, The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq, is an effort to understand the politics of the "war on terror" which has now reached a final punctuation point with the U.S. decision to speed its withdrawal from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan (where success was once deemed so crucial to national security), and to practice an incoherent form of regime change in Libya while ignoring more serious threats in Syria and Iran.

The war on terror began, Greenfield shows, as an admirable bipartisan commitment soon after the tragedy of 9/11-an effort to transcend party lines not only to punish those who attacked our country but also to interrupt planning for further attacks and try to stop the international spread of the Islamic jihad behind the attacks. But the Democratic Party, with the honorable exception of a few individuals like Richard Gephardt and Joe Lieberman, turned its back on a war soon after authorizing it, and did so at a time when American troops were facing hostile enemy fire.

Although Senate Democrats on the intelligence oversight committee had been granted access to every piece of data available to the White House, they now accused President Bush of tricking them to secure their approval. In fact, their own about-face was entirely dictated by political considerations when a Sixties antiwar activist, Howard Dean, surged ahead in the Democratic primary polls and it appeared for a moment that Americans were on the side of retreat and capitulation.

Although regime change in Iraq had been official U.S. policy since Bill Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, Democratic senators such as John Kerry who only months earlier had supported the war effort now launched demoralizing attacks on the American commander-in-chief and his troops in the field, stigmatizing it as "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." If the truth was the first casualty of their war against the Bush administration, the second casualty was the principle of bi-partisanship that had guided foreign policy debates throughout the Cold War, the principle that "politics stops at the water's edge." Now partisan politics trumped security.

The unrestrained attacks on the Iraq War as illegal and unjustified went largely unanswered by Republicans who failed to call the Democratic saboteurs of the nation's war effort to account or to decry the risk their cynical attacks posed to American servicemen and women on the battlefield. As Greenfield demonstrates, the Democrats' partisanship had consequences not only in Iraq but elsewhere in the region: the paralysis that resulted from their "anti-war" campaign led straight to the destruction of Lebanon and the installation of a terrorist army, Hezbollah, there as a regime within a regime. And it emboldened an overtly Islamofascist regime in Iran not only to supply the IEDs responsible for most of our troop fatalities in Iraq but also to proceed with a nuclear program aimed directly at Israel and the West.

The Great Betrayal shows that Barack Obama's abandonment of Iraq is a betrayal of all the Americans and Iraqis who gave their lives to establish freedom in that country. And the result of his policies in Afghanistan has been as disastrous. While the President presented his rationale for pursuing war there as the pursuit of al-Qaeda, after abandoning his "surge" (which resulted in two thirds of all America's Afghan casualties there and the resurgence of the Taliban allies of al-Qaeda), he blithely prepared for withdrawal as if national objectives had been met.

"Losing our Sons": Documentary looks at domestic Islamic radicalization and jihadization

Charles Jacobs at Americans for Peace and Tolerance announced today the release of a trailer for their upcoming documentary, "Losing Our Sons", featuring Melvin Bledsoe - father of domestic terrorist Carlos Bledsoe aka Abdulhakim Mohamed who gunned down US Army recruiter Pvt. William Long at an Army-Navy recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas in June 2009. Melvin Bledsoe testified at the House Homeland Security Committee hearing earlier this month.

The upcoming documentary discusses how Bledsoe was radicalized by the Muslim Student Association in Tennessee and sent to terrorist training in Yemen with the written recommendation of the imam of a Nashville mosque. It also discusses how the agents of radicalization in the Nashville Muslim community have been aided by collaborators in the establishment media, politics and the so-called "interfaith" community.

Are You Registered to Vote? Do You Have a Photo ID? Do They Match?

According to the U.S. Constitution all American citizens 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, color, religion, or creed, whether male or female, have the right to vote.  However, voting in Pennsylvania this year will be a bit more complicated than prior years due to the new Voter ID law.  A dedicated group of Main Line citizens are doing what they can to make sure that you can exercise that right on November 6th. 

A small table located at Gateway Shopping Center (near Trader Joes and Great Earth Vitamins) is staffed with volunteers on weekends who will assist you by:

• Providing voter registration forms
• Helping people to complete their voter registration form
• Providing absentee ballot application forms and completion instructions
• Providing up to date information on the voter ID requirements

Additionally, if anyone has a question that the volunteer on duty is unable to answer, we will take their name, email address and/or phone number and get back to the questioner with an answer.

The table will be staffed every Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm and every Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm now thru October 7th.

We recommend that everyone check to make sure that (1) you are still registered to vote and that (2) your voter registration name exactly matches your name on the photo ID that you plan to use on Election Day.  To confirm that you are registered, go to www.can9/10/12ivote.org . Select Pennsylvania; then click on Find Voter Registration Status.  Entering your personal data will allow you to confirm that you are registered and provide you with the address of your polling place.

Some may question whether citizens in our area really need help in registering to vote.  When this service was provided in 2008 over 1000 people registered at the table!  Volunteers assisted citizens from the 5-county Philadelphia area and Lancaster, Berks, and Lehigh Counties. 

Key dates for this fall's election are:

10/9 - last day that Voter Registration forms will be accepted by Voter Services

10/30 - last day that Absentee Ballot applications will be accepted by Voter Services

11/2 - last day that completed Absentee Ballots will be accepted by Voter Services

11/6 - Election Day

1. If The Election Were Held Today Barack Obama Would Win

Contra Dick Morris, Mitt Romney is not winning this election. At least Mitt Romney is not winning the election right now. Conservatives are obsessing over every poll, the turn out models used, and the media bias that is on ful display. Yes, some of the polling models seem screwy, though we all forget the pollsters apply a secret sauce known only to them on top. Yes, reporters are fully beclowning themselves to get their god-king re-elected. But while we may be focused there, the fact is the Romney campaign isn't functioning well. Lucky for you and me the election is not today. But something needs to happen in Boston and I am less and less hopeful anything will happen.

It would easy to dismiss me by saying I never cared for Romney or I'm somehow actually rooting against him. So let me put it to you this way: Jenn Rubin and I are on the same page. 2. The Film Maker Is Arrested

Glenn Reynolds has all the details on the arrest of the film maker who made the movie that Barack Obama says caused riots throughout the Middle East.

I'm going to be charitable here and presume that the man was arrested on other issues that would not have come to light had such much light been pointed in his direction this past week. Note in the picture it is local authors, not federal authors putting him in a police car. That suggests to me there is more going on here.

Anti-American Savages of the Post-American World

The past week has shown us what a Post-American world looks like and it isn't a batch of treaties that lead to men and women from around the world meeting to decide how to feed the hungry, clothed the naked and take everyone's guns away to banish violence from the world. It's mobs of violent savages ransacking embassies while their suited brethren use it to explain to our decadent leaders that the only way we will have peace is if we let them decide what sections of the Bill of Rights we get to keep.

 

Forget the UN, the Post-American order isn't a blue flag, it's a black flag with Mohammed on it. There are far more people in the world who believe in a world order based on the violent ravings of a 7th Century madman than the number of people who believe in a world order based on 19th Century European wishful thinking. And it helps that the supporters of 7th Century violence over 19th Century internationalism are far more willing to use murderous violence to get their way.

The burning embassies and authorities scurrying to intimidate the Mohammed filmmaker into making some kind of apology or going to jail, as their British predecessors bullied Salman Rushdie into doing, reveal the naked order of the new world. It isn't a place of treaties or laws, but of naked force and we will not be the ones doing the forcing.

Friday Afternoon Roundup - All Around Death to America

Some readers may have noticed fewer articles went up this week, and there was no roundup last Friday, this was due to a medical emergency in the family, there will also be fewer articles this week but that will be due to Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, that will take place on Monday and Tuesday.

But there should be more than enough articles here to make up the absent wordspace.



OF DEAD HORSES AND DEAD AMBASSADORS

Obama condemned unilateral war in his speech, but it did not occur to him that if war can be unilateral, then a cessation of hostilities cannot be. You can stop your horse in the middle of the track and tell the other riders that horse races need not be exclusive or competitive, that all riders can learn techniques from each other and skip the racing and just exchange trophies congratulating each other on making a good effort. And that is a good way to lose the race.

Islamists would not be Islamists if they did not believe that their way is in competition with all other ways. The principle, accepted by so many Christians and Jews in the West, that religions and nations are interchangeable and only individuals matter, is flipped upside down in a region where individuals are so interchangeable that they blow themselves up to make a point about the supremacy of their identification with the nation and the religion.

Why Obama Is Failing the Middle East Meltdown and How to Fix It

The breaking news keeps breaking when it comes to revelations surrounding the attacks and protests aimed at U.S. embassies going on throughout the Islamic world. Protests have spread to at least eight countries. Reports indicate that four people have been arrested relating to the killing of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff there. That offers at least the promise of getting more information about the deliberate attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., government authorities identified the man behind the controversial film purported as the cause for the protests as Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a 55-year-old Californian with a shadowy past including many aliases and a criminal record.

Unlike a Brad Thor novel, however, we can't just jump to the end of the story to find out what this all means for American policy in this troubled part of the world.

But (again, unlike a Brad Thor novel) without cheating we can predict how the story is going to end-because the result of the President's Middle East policies was predictable from the start.

Obama's strategy for this part of the world started out much the way Jimmy Carter's did-with acts of conciliation and accommodation. The President narrowly focused his priorities on three objectives: 1) withdrawing from Iraq as quickly as possible; 2) engaging with Syria and Iran; and 3) transforming the U.S. into a neutral party-to negotiate peace between Palestine and Israel.

For starters, we know that all three of those objectives have met with abject failure.

Iraq was not only left a shaky state; it has become a shaky friend-defying U.S. requests to block Iranian flights that are rearming the Syrian military so they can kill more Syrian civilians.

After wasting three years of trying to find common ground with the totalitarian regimes in Syria and Iran, even the White House has acknowledged failure, calling for the government in Damascus to step down and asking for more sanctions on Tehran.

Finally, the peace process has collapsed-a blessing in disguise, because if Obama succeeded in creating a Palestinian state today, it would look an awful lot like the Syrian regime the rest of the region is trying to bring down-a corrupt state that oppresses its own people, a state sponsor of terrorism, and a tool of Iran.

The President's policy, however, has been more than unsuccessful-the "Obama doctrine" has taken the cause of protecting U.S. interests in the region backward-because it relied on a self-imposed agenda of self-weakening. It included distancing the U.S. from Israel and playing politics with the U.S. defense budget-where even his own officials acknowledge that if the automatic cuts required under the Budget Control Act of 2011 go into effect, they will undermine the readiness and reduce the capabilities of the armed forces. The war on terrorism began when Osama bin Laden wrote his fatwa proclaiming America a paper tiger in withdrawal. With a sharp push, he believed, the Americans would fall away. It is not the President's policies, nor the promises he made at his historic speech in Cairo, nor the pledges he made to punish the perpetrators of the attack in Benghazi that America's enemies are responding to. They believe the U.S., by its actions, has demonstrated it is in retreat.

Attacks on embassies and anti-American riots in the street can happen on any President's watch. What we need to be most concerned about is that those who are deliberately plotting against us are on the offensive-again.

It is time for a different course:

Don't lose focus on Iran. Tehran is the number one troublemaker in this part of the world. From its nuclear aspirations to sponsoring terrorism, plotting attacks of its own, and promoting an extremist agenda across the region to crushing the aspirations of freedom from its own people-peace in this part of the planet has no greater enemy.

Reassert the need for close strategic cooperation with Israel. The instability that continues to sweep the region only underscores the fact that Israel is the only ally in the region that the U.S can reliably count on.

Acknowledge that the war against a global Islamist insurgency isn't over. There are evil people out there trying to kill us, and we have to stop them. Chasing down their leaders with drone strikes is not enough-dealing with the "next wave" of transnational terrorism will require a different course. The strategy for the next wave must regain the initiative that has been lost by this President, bring a successful end to the long war, and leave behind an enduring and sustainable counterterrorism enterprise-one that can adeptly respond to emerging threats, like the recent attack in Benghazi.

Adopt an economic freedom agenda. The 2012 Index of Economic Freedom confirms that countries of the Middle East lag in many areas of economic freedom and that the lack of jobs and opportunity is at the root of much of the anger. It is past time to move the economic freedom agenda from an afterthought to the centerpiece of U.S. Middle East policy. Even the best security policy will never be sufficient. We can lower our own barriers to trade and encourage governments in the Middle East to do likewise. We can encourage reforms to open up investment, create jobs, and empower individuals economically.

To protect America's interest in this part of the world, we must be:

• A faithful, responsible, and enduring ally;

• A champion of supporting the cause of liberty and economic freedom; and

• A strong, resilient, and confident nation prepared to defend itself, its allies, and its interests.

It will take that kind of shift in U.S. policies to weather this crisis well.
