A new app called "In Obama's own words" is great.  Right now it is only for the iPhone.  If you are wanting for someone to hear something Obama said that really is awful for our country, and he has said a lot, this app is what you need on your iPhone.  It is only $.99.  It is well worth it.  It is him talking and saying these things that other people can hear when you press the play button.  Pass this information on.  The guy who made this is had so many requests to make it for other popular cell phones now.  He is just a great patriot who is a great computer nerd and did this after hundreds of hours of work on it.

Dear Members and Friends,

On this 911 Anniversary date, we pray for all the victims of the abominable terrorist attacks--and the loved ones they left behind.

We also pray for all Americans as one of the most important elections in our nation's history draws near.

We pray for Governor Mitt Romney, Congressman Paul Ryan, and our other endorsed candidates as they head into the final stretch of the 2012 campaign.

We pray our movement will use our resources--time, energy, money--as effectively as possible in the next few months to win the White House and gain control of both houses of Congress.

In that vein, we humbly suggest that no matter what issue you're asked to rally for--that you hold-off on taking road trips to Harrisburg and/or DC, etc., until after the November election.   

The only issue we should be focusing so much time and energy on is defeating Barack Obama!

If a rally's purpose does not have that goal in mind--please don't waste the time.  Instead, volunteer at a Victory Office or a local Congressional office.  (An office near you can be found @ www.IndependenceHallTeaPartyPAC.com.)

The most effective thing we can do in the present is to use our precious resources for

Get Out the Vote efforts.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't call, fax, or email Governors and/or other elected officials regarding important governmental matters.  It just means we don't have the luxury of taking 12 hour trips that won't remove Barack Obama from the White House.

Take healthcare, for example.  In Pennsylvania, Rep. Matt Baker's opt out of Obamacare bill, HB 42, has been voted out of committee, but languishes before the full House and the Senate.

If you live in PA, we ask that you call Governor Corbett, House Majority Leader, Mike Turzai, and Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi.  Ask them to Enact HB 42

and stop the establishment of Obamacare Health Exchanges in PA.

New Campaign launched by former CIA, Special Operations Members to combat leaks and politicization of National Security Info

Kicks Off Nationwide With Release Of Documentary Short Film Titled "Dishonorable Disclosures"

Former CIA and Special Operations members are announcing the creation of OPSEC, a new nationwide public campaign to combat the spike in leaks and politicization of Intelligence and Special Operations missions that threaten their effectiveness and the safety of Americans who conduct them. OPSEC - short for Operational Security, meaning to eliminate or reduce the exploitation of critical information - will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a new documentary short film highlighting the problem from the perspective of those who have served in these critical positions. The film will also serve as the basis for a TV and online advertising effort.

"Intelligence and Special Operations members are angry and frustrated at how our work has been used for political advantage by officials across government, including President Obama himself who bears special responsibility as Commander in Chief," said Scott Taylor, chairman of OPSEC and a former Navy SEAL. "We want the American people to understand the cost of these leaks and politicization both on those who serve and on our national security and to hold those in positions of leadership accountable if it doesn't stop."

OPSEC is made up of individuals who served their country in the CIA, and Special Operations Forces (SOF) consisting of Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Corps and Air Force Special Operations. It is organized as a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan public education campaign and is independent of any political party or campaign organization.

The campaign will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a documentary short film that views the impact of the increasing number of leaks on Intelligence and Special Operations missions, tradecraft, tactics and capabilities from the perspective of those who have relied on these tools to carryout similar missions and protect themselves and those they served alongside. The film will be shown at events in key states across the country over the next several months, including Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina and Nevada. "Dishonorable Disclosures" can be seen here.

"Countless leaks, interviews and decisions by the Obama Administration and other government officials have undermined the success of our Intelligence and Special Operations forces and put future missions and personnel at risk," said Fred Rustmann, an OPSEC member and 24-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency. "OPSEC will carry a strong message across the country that it's time for President Obama and other administration officials to stop jeopardizing national security operations for political gain."

PS: Like most Navy officers, the date of June 15, 1985, is seared in my memory. That's the date Islamic terrorists hijacked TWA Flight 847 and brutally tortured Navy Seabee Robert Stethem to death. All he had to do was scream out for mercy, and he would have been allowed to live. But he refused to utter a sound.

The pilot of Flight 847 later said, "He was the bravest man I've ever seen in my life."

Bob Stethem's brother was a Navy SEAL; I know him. So, I know something of the stuff of which he was made. Warriors like him don't scream out, they don't beg for mercy, and they don't ask for help.

PATIENT CENTERED AFFORDABLE REFORM

  The "Let's Do Better" bus tour will visit with seniors in their communities to discuss their reaction to the controversial health reform care bill passed in 2010. This legislation, which remains unpopular with seniors, cuts Medicare, cripples Medicare Advantage, establishes a "Medicare IRS", and generally provides for a bureaucratic takeover of important health care decisions - all unpopular with seniors.

The tour is a project of the 60 Plus Association.

Events surrounding the tour will include rallies, health care briefings, meet & greets, and townhall meetings. It will also feature health care experts and advocates, as well as the 60 Plus leadership team of Jim Martin, Amy Frederick, and legendary entertainer Pat Boone - who is the national spokesperson for the seniors group.

60 Plus, founded more than 20 years ago and currently supported by some 7.2 million "senior activists", is often referred to as the conservative alternative to the AARP. The group funded by voluntary donations from over a quarter-million donors and does not accept taxpayer funding, unlike the AARP.

Food Cupboard items can be dropped off at The Open Line, which is located at 452 Penn Street in Pennsburg. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours on Tuesday evenings until 7 p.m.

The federal govt will give waivers to states that can't get their act together enough to send their troops absentee ballots. They allow states to "suppress" the military vote but sue states for "suppressing" potentially illegal (or dead) voters.

New York, August 6, 2012 - The Wagner/Cuban Company's Magnet Releasing announced today an all rights distribution deal for Citizens United Productions' documentary OCCUPY UNMASKED, one of the last projects featuring the late conservative icon Andrew Breitbart. OCCUPY UNMASKED was written and directed by award-winning director Stephen K. Bannon and produced by David N. Bossie. Magnet is giving the film a limited theatrical release day and date with VOD in late September.

"This film is controversial, and that's exactly the reason we want to ensure it can find its audience prior to the November elections," said Mark Cuban, co-owner of Magnet. "I look forward to our partnership with Citizens United Productions and to getting this film out to the masses."

OCCUPY UNMASKED takes viewers into the Occupy Wall Street camps around the country in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Portland, Denver and Oakland for an up-close look at what's happened there and who's at the heart of the movement, documenting criminal activity and raw brutality in the camps - much of which has not been reported by the mainstream media. In addition to Andrew Breitbart, the film features journalists Brandon Darby, David Horowitz, Pam Keys, Anita MonCrief, Mandy Nagy, and Lee Stranahan.

The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq

Daniel Greenfield's new Freedom Center pamphlet, The Great Betrayal: Obama's Wars and the War in Iraq, is an effort to understand the politics of the "war on terror" which has now reached a final punctuation point with the U.S. decision to speed its withdrawal from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan (where success was once deemed so crucial to national security), and to practice an incoherent form of regime change in Libya while ignoring more serious threats in Syria and Iran.

The war on terror began, Greenfield shows, as an admirable bipartisan commitment soon after the tragedy of 9/11-an effort to transcend party lines not only to punish those who attacked our country but also to interrupt planning for further attacks and try to stop the international spread of the Islamic jihad behind the attacks. But the Democratic Party, with the honorable exception of a few individuals like Richard Gephardt and Joe Lieberman, turned its back on a war soon after authorizing it, and did so at a time when American troops were facing hostile enemy fire.

Although Senate Democrats on the intelligence oversight committee had been granted access to every piece of data available to the White House, they now accused President Bush of tricking them to secure their approval. In fact, their own about-face was entirely dictated by political considerations when a Sixties antiwar activist, Howard Dean, surged ahead in the Democratic primary polls and it appeared for a moment that Americans were on the side of retreat and capitulation.

Although regime change in Iraq had been official U.S. policy since Bill Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, Democratic senators such as John Kerry who only months earlier had supported the war effort now launched demoralizing attacks on the American commander-in-chief and his troops in the field, stigmatizing it as "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." If the truth was the first casualty of their war against the Bush administration, the second casualty was the principle of bi-partisanship that had guided foreign policy debates throughout the Cold War, the principle that "politics stops at the water's edge." Now partisan politics trumped security.

The unrestrained attacks on the Iraq War as illegal and unjustified went largely unanswered by Republicans who failed to call the Democratic saboteurs of the nation's war effort to account or to decry the risk their cynical attacks posed to American servicemen and women on the battlefield. As Greenfield demonstrates, the Democrats' partisanship had consequences not only in Iraq but elsewhere in the region: the paralysis that resulted from their "anti-war" campaign led straight to the destruction of Lebanon and the installation of a terrorist army, Hezbollah, there as a regime within a regime. And it emboldened an overtly Islamofascist regime in Iran not only to supply the IEDs responsible for most of our troop fatalities in Iraq but also to proceed with a nuclear program aimed directly at Israel and the West.

The Great Betrayal shows that Barack Obama's abandonment of Iraq is a betrayal of all the Americans and Iraqis who gave their lives to establish freedom in that country. And the result of his policies in Afghanistan has been as disastrous. While the President presented his rationale for pursuing war there as the pursuit of al-Qaeda, after abandoning his "surge" (which resulted in two thirds of all America's Afghan casualties there and the resurgence of the Taliban allies of al-Qaeda), he blithely prepared for withdrawal as if national objectives had been met.

"Losing our Sons": Documentary looks at domestic Islamic radicalization and jihadization

Charles Jacobs at Americans for Peace and Tolerance announced today the release of a trailer for their upcoming documentary, "Losing Our Sons", featuring Melvin Bledsoe - father of domestic terrorist Carlos Bledsoe aka Abdulhakim Mohamed who gunned down US Army recruiter Pvt. William Long at an Army-Navy recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas in June 2009. Melvin Bledsoe testified at the House Homeland Security Committee hearing earlier this month.

The upcoming documentary discusses how Bledsoe was radicalized by the Muslim Student Association in Tennessee and sent to terrorist training in Yemen with the written recommendation of the imam of a Nashville mosque. It also discusses how the agents of radicalization in the Nashville Muslim community have been aided by collaborators in the establishment media, politics and the so-called "interfaith" community.

Are You Registered to Vote? Do You Have a Photo ID? Do They Match?

According to the U.S. Constitution all American citizens 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, color, religion, or creed, whether male or female, have the right to vote.  However, voting in Pennsylvania this year will be a bit more complicated than prior years due to the new Voter ID law.  A dedicated group of Main Line citizens are doing what they can to make sure that you can exercise that right on November 6th. 

A small table located at Gateway Shopping Center (near Trader Joes and Great Earth Vitamins) is staffed with volunteers on weekends who will assist you by:

• Providing voter registration forms
• Helping people to complete their voter registration form
• Providing absentee ballot application forms and completion instructions
• Providing up to date information on the voter ID requirements

Additionally, if anyone has a question that the volunteer on duty is unable to answer, we will take their name, email address and/or phone number and get back to the questioner with an answer.

The table will be staffed every Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm and every Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm now thru October 7th.

We recommend that everyone check to make sure that (1) you are still registered to vote and that (2) your voter registration name exactly matches your name on the photo ID that you plan to use on Election Day.  To confirm that you are registered, go to www.can9/10/12ivote.org . Select Pennsylvania; then click on Find Voter Registration Status.  Entering your personal data will allow you to confirm that you are registered and provide you with the address of your polling place.

Some may question whether citizens in our area really need help in registering to vote.  When this service was provided in 2008 over 1000 people registered at the table!  Volunteers assisted citizens from the 5-county Philadelphia area and Lancaster, Berks, and Lehigh Counties. 

Key dates for this fall's election are:

10/9 - last day that Voter Registration forms will be accepted by Voter Services

10/30 - last day that Absentee Ballot applications will be accepted by Voter Services

11/2 - last day that completed Absentee Ballots will be accepted by Voter Services

11/6 - Election Day

The deaths in Benghazi, Libya, of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and others in the service of the United States provides a tragic reminder of the great sacrifices that U.S. diplomatic, military, and intelligence personnel serving abroad make to defend America and its interests around the globe.

In a dangerous world, and especially in the dangerous areas of the Middle East and North Africa, American citizens who volunteer to serve in America's foreign policy agencies and in the U.S. armed forces face risks both from public disorder and intentional attacks by terrorists. Those Americans put their lives on the line to protect their fellow Americans and advance the principles of freedom, opportunity, and free enterprise that America champions in the world.

No grenade blasts, no bomb explosions, and no rain of bullets will stop those in America's diplomatic, military, and intelligence service from accomplishing their missions. Their continuing dedication to service reflects the greatness of America and the dedication of the American people to proceed, as Abraham Lincoln said, "with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right."

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the fallen and with those on the front lines around the world in our diplomatic facilities, military units, and intelligence elements. May God bless all those who serve our country abroad, and may God bless our country's leaders as they work to protect them in these days of danger.

1. The American Media Beclowned Themselves Yesterday

Yesterday, as the American consulate in Libya was smoking and the rioters were returning in Egypt, the President of the United States flew off to Las Vegas for a fundraiser while his spokesman was telling the American press corps that yesterday wasn't really a normal political day. Had it been George W. Bush, the media would, right now, be marching on the White House with pitch forks and torches. Remember, on 9/11, as events were unfolding in Washington, the American media was crying for President Bush to return to Washington. They wanted Daddy at home in the White House where he could tuck them in bed, damn the security issues of getting him there.

I get that Chuck Todd is a former Democrat staffer with ties to Democratic Party operatives. I get that the Politico is riddled with Democrats, some former activists and a former staffer for Debbie Wasserman Schultz. I get that Michael Scherer from Time magazine is a left wing reporter for Mother Jones and Salon.com turned respectable, "objective" journalist. I get that Ben Smith, leading up Buzz Feed, is a leftwing journalist paraded about as if he is some sort of objective reporter at a trendy site full of cat photos. What I really get is that the American media runs with a herd mentality, leans left, and yesterday collectively fell over their group think as they leaned so far left to focus on Mitt Romney and not President Obama. 2. Mitt Romney Should Raise These Questions

Mitt Romney is in a difficult position. On September 11, 2012, radical Islamists stormed the American Embassy in Cairo, tore down and burned the American flag, and hoisted a black flag associated with Al Qaeda. In Libya, radical Islamists did the same, but also set the embassy on fire, fired rockets, and killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and at least three other State Department employees.

Better Than They Are

On these shores, Americans commemorated the cold-blooded gleeful murder of thousands of their fellow men and women by bowing their heads and enlisting in one of the free work projects of the National Day of Service listed at Serve.gov, a combination that says all that needs to be said about our present day relationship with our government.

 

In newly liberated Benghazi, the city that Obama named as his moral imperative for fighting an illegal war against the will of the American people, gunmen opened fire on the American embassy and killed an American security guard. That dead man is the first American casualty in the Libyan War-- a casualty that will be acknowledged and honored around the same time that someone in the media calls the Libyan War, a war, instead of sticking to the shameless lie of a No Fly Zone.

In Cairo, a mob of a thousand climbed the wall, tore down the American flag, tore it to pieces, burned it and tried to replace it with their own flag with the words, "There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger". That message was the same one that the murderers of Americans have shouted, written and videotaped themselves chanting in one form or another.

As befits a great power, the US Embassy in Cairo responded by condemning "the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims." The US Embassy's statement was virtually indistinguishable from the one issued by the beleaguered Christian Copts of Egypt. The Christians of Egypt act that way because they live at the merciless mercy of Muslims. Apparently so do we.

When the Prophet-Criers climb our walls and murder us, we apologize for having offended their religious feelings. The same religious feelings that took down the World Trade Center as part of a murderous crusade going back over a thousand years. They kill us and we elect a man with a Muslim background to tour the world and explain to all the angry Muslims that we're really very nice people once you get to know us.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The recent public dispute between American President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has created confusion over the position of the US regarding military action against Iran. This is the wrong way to bring about an end to Iran's nuclear weapons program. It is imperative that the public sparring come to an end and the lines of communication between the two leaders be clearer. The US ought to consider equipping Israel with enhanced military resources that would allow Israel to confront Iran at a later date, giving Western allies more time to pressure the Iranian regime.

The latest public exchanges between the United States and Israel reveal that American President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu are in disagreement over Iran. While Netanyahu may have been too aggressive in  

his talks about the situation in Iran and the potential for a military strike, Obama felt the need to respond to every statement, ratcheting up the tension between the two.

Obama acts as though the most important war he is waging is against Netanyahu, not the one he should be conducting against Iran. His rage over what he sees as Netanyahu's support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is apparently driving him up the wall. Meanwhile, the Iranians are mocking the ability of these leaders to present a unified message.

Tell Pennsylvania Sens. Bob Casey and Pat Toomey:
Slow Down Massive Immigration to Save Jobs for Unemployed Pennsylvania Residents

Even as hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania workers are struggling to find a job, Congress has continued to issue 125,000 new work visas a month to immigrants and other foreign workers. This equals 1.5 million new foreign workers each year, who compete directly with Pennsylvania residents for a very limited number of Pennsylvania's jobs.

Who benefits from allowing 1.5 million new foreign workers into the U.S. each year? Certainly not the 484,000 residents of Pennsylvania who are currently unemployed. Unfortunately, Sens. Casey and Toomey have done nothing to reduce the number of foreign workers to the U.S. And as a result, unemployed Pennsylvania workers continue to suffer.

Dear Senators Casey and Toomey,

Our nation has a proud and rich immigration tradition. However, we need to move our immigration policies into the 21st century.

With unemployment numbers still high and our nation struggling to control its national debt, it is time for Congress to consider reducing overall immigration numbers.

The United States gives new work permits to 1.5 million immigrants and other foreign workers each year--not including the illegal aliens who arrive. When our nation is trillions in debt and has a shortage of millions of jobs, there is simply no way to justify these numbers. Taxpayers end up subsidizing the Americans who lose their jobs because of immigration.

Please support measures that would end illegal immigration and reduce legal immigration to sensible numbers. The American people are counting on you to do the right thing. Please don't let us down.

Heritage Employment Report: Dog Days of August Howl in the Labor Market  

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the economy created on net 96,000 new jobs in August and that the unemployment rate fell to 8.1 percent. The decline in the unemployment rate was entirely due to a steep decline in the percentage of people in the labor force, which reached a 30-year low.

Middle East In Flames

The news from the Middle East seems like déjà vu. American embassies under attack; U.S. flags ripped down; mobs chanting "Death to America!" Sadly, it's not a bad mind trick, but the bad reality of Barack Obama's failed foreign policy.

Once again, Obama's constant kowtowing to radical Islam has borne poisonous fruit. A dedicated civil servant, Ambassador Christopher Stevens, was brutally murdered last night along with Sean Smith, a foreign service officer, and two U.S. Marines. Photos suggest Stevens was dragged half-naked through the streets.

According to CBS News, Libyan security forces moved Ambassador Stevens and his colleagues from the consulate to a supposedly more secure building. But then members of the Libyan security team reportedly directed the mob to the second building. Obama praised those security forces this morning, although there is no evidence they did their jobs.

In addition to the attack on Ambassador Stevens, the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt, was temporarily overrun yesterday. Radical Islamists scaled the walls, tore down the U.S. flag and raised a black flag that read, "There is no God but Allah, and Mohammad is his messenger." These attacks in Egypt and Libya were quickly blamed on a web video (which virtually no one has seen or heard of) that is critical of Mohammad.

Prior to the attack on the embassy in Cairo, the staff released the following statement:

"The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims -- as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. ... Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others."

Russian War Ships used as backdrop for Democratic convention Veterans Tribute  

Wow, now that is a huge mistake! Will you see this on MSNBC? NO! Had this been the Republican Convention we would be the laughing stock of the liberal media. These huge pictures appeared during the tribute to veterans.  

The backdrop for a Democratic National Convention tribute to U.S. military veterans was apparently a fleet of Russian warships.

The event occurred on the final night of last week's convention when retired Adm. John Nathman paid tribute to veterans, in front of a gigantic screen that showed what appears to be ships from the Russian Federation Navy, according to The Navy Times.

At least two experts told the publication they were certain the ships were Russian and that the backdrop image appears to be a composite photo that includes U.S. trainer jets flying overhead.

The background shows four ships with radar designs apparently not used in the U.S. fleet.

U.S. Ambassador murdered by Islamic Extremists 

On the anniversary of the September 11th attacks, chaos in the Middle East erupted. First, the U.S. embassy in Cairo was swarmed by thousands of protesters who tore down the flag and replaced it with terrorist slogans. But things really got even uglier when a U.S. ambassador and three staffers were killed in Libya while attempting to evacuate their embassy which came under attack. Glenn reacts on radio today.
