Activate: How to turn the 2012 election from a close call to a mandate
Last night, Glenn focused on the importance of commitment. He was the first to admit, a lot of last night's show was something you had heard before - but it's important to start at the beginning and to make sure you know what you believe before you get put into action. And tonight, Glenn revealed ways for you to really get moving!
Tonight, the focus of the show was "Activate" - and it was all about the election and how you can make sure that one way or another - 2012 is a year for a mandate for or against the progressives. And if you think it doesn't matter just take a look at what is happening right now in Wisconsin. Progressives and unions are doing everything they can to make sure that Walker loses. It's a microcosm to what is happening around the country, and Glenn thought it was so important that he recapped it on tonight's show (in under three minutes!):

Top doctor's chilling claim: The NHS kills off 130,000 elderly patients every year
- Professor says doctors use 'death pathway' to euthenasia of the elderly
- Treatment on average brings a patient to death in 33 hours
- Around 29 per cent of patients that die in hospital are on controversial 'care pathway'
- Pensioner admitted to hospital given treatment by doctor on weekend shift
By Steve Doughty
19 June 2012
Worrying claim: Professor Patrick Pullicino said doctors had turned the use of a controversial 'death pathway' into the equivalent of euthanasia of the elderly
NHS doctors are prematurely ending the lives of thousands of elderly hospital patients because they are difficult to manage or to free up beds, a senior consultant claimed yesterday.
Professor Patrick Pullicino said doctors had turned the use of a controversial 'death pathway' into the equivalent of euthanasia of the elderly.
He claimed there was often a lack of clear evidence for initiating the Liverpool Care Pathway, a method of looking after terminally ill patients that is used in hospitals across the country.
It is designed to come into force when doctors believe it is impossible for a patient to recover and death is imminent.
It can include withdrawal of treatment - including the provision of water and nourishment by tube - and on average brings a patient to death in 33 hours.
There are around 450,000 deaths in Britain each year of people who are in hospital or under NHS care. Around 29 per cent - 130,000 - are of patients who were on the LCP.

Jonathan S. Tobin 06.19.2012
Never let it be said the New York Times is afraid to tackle an unflattering story about President Obama, even if it's often a delayed reaction. The paper's political blog The Caucus deigned to notice today that the new biography of the president by David Maraniss uncovered the fact that much of Dreams of My Father, the highly praised Barack Obama autobiography, is either fabricated or exaggerated. The Times's Michael Shear opines that having its author now sitting in the White House has brought Dreams more scrutiny than its author could have envisioned when he wrote it in 1995. But the problem with contemporary analyses of the questionable personal history in the book is not so much the peril associated with being a famous political author but whether the book provides proof of a pattern of falsehoods and distortions about his past that has been one of the hallmarks of the president's public career. The answer to that question is contained near the bottom of the piece in which Shear lets drop that proof of such a pattern was already provided by his own newspaper last year. Though the Times buried the story when it broke and then never followed up or editorialized on the scandal, it was their own reporter Janny Scott whose research on the life of the president's mother Ann Dunham revealed that the oft-told story of her dying because of the failure of her health insurance company to pay for her cancer treatment was a flat out lie. But while Shear is right that this year's election will not turn on how Maraniss's book is received, the unwillingness of the Times and other mainstream publications to call out Obama for writing fiction and calling it autobiography gives us a good indication of how much of an advantage having a quiescent media is for an incumbent president. The fables Obama seems to have told about his alienation, his girlfriends and the rest of his over-intellectualized voyage of self-discovery actually pale in comparison to the whopper he told when running for election in 2008 that his mother died because she had been denied coverage and treatment of her disease. Scott revealed that in fact the expenses relating to her cancer had been paid by her insurance. Though she had a separate and totally unrelated dispute relating to disability coverage, Scott's research proved that Obama's statement during the 2008 presidential debate was fiction: Read more:

Breakfast with Tom Smith -
GOP Candidate for U.S. Senate
Monday, June 25
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Tom Smith's background is a common one in Pennsylvania and across the country, but one that is all too rare in the United States Senate-which may explain a great deal about how our country came to this point in our history.
Tom still lives on the farm in Armstrong County where he grew up. After graduating from Elderton High School in 1965, he postponed college to help his father tend that farm and supplemented his income by driving a school bus. Before too long, Tom had married his high school sweetheart, Saundy, started a family, and went to work in a local surface coal mine.
In 1989, Tom entered the coal business himself, mortgaging everything he had in the hope that he could build a better life for himself and his family. He succeeded, building a series of companies in a highly regulated industry through some tough economic times. When he sold the companies in 2010, they were mining more than a million tons of coal a year and employed over one-hundred people.

The Next KTP Tea Social
Monday, July 9th at 7pm
Doylestown Moose Club
Let's get together and talk about our next steps as we get ready to take out Barack Obama and Bob Casey this Fall! After a very well attended Get Out The Vote training day in Bucks County in early June, we are now ready to put into practice all the tools we learned from FreedomWorks.
We all came together back in 2009 because we were outraged by the election of Barack Obama, the passage of Obamacare and the direction of our country financially and ideologically. The time has come, perhaps our last chance to truly make a stance, for us to unite and work to defeat the progressive agenda which has already infiltrated us so deeply. The first step towards a big win in November starts now! So, we, at The Kitchen Table Patriots, urge you to come out to make a difference, we can plug you in where you are needed.
This is where you can make a difference that really matters!

While plans for school vouchers remain mired in the General Assembly, some lawmakers are supporting a new idea to help kids in failing schools. Rep. Jim Christiana, R-Beaver, is introducing a bill that would create a $100 million tax credit program aimed at children in poor-performing schools. The bill to create the new Educational Improvement Scholarship Credit will be introduced today in the House of Representatives. The program would try to build on the state's $75 million Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. That program grants tax credit to companies that donate to preschool and K-12 scholarships to students or to innovative public education programs. Tax credits for this program typically are spoken for in a matter of days after they become available. The new tax credit program would be limited to companies donating to organizations that provide scholarships to students in the state's worst-performing schools. In Christiana's plan as well as the existing EITC program, businesses donating to scholarship organizations could cut their state taxes by up to 90 cents on every dollar donated to education. The goal of Christiana's plan is to generate enough money to provide an escape for 30,000 low- and middle-income students in failing public schools. His plan would provide scholarships of up to $8,500 for a regular education student and up to $15,000 for a special-needs student. "I think it is a very attractive program to those that want to help these kids get out of the violent underperforming schools," Christiana said. Support for a new education tax credit is evolving among House Republican leaders. "I think it's definitely something we should do," said House Majority Whip Stan Saylor, R-York.
Privatization of Liquor Stores
The time has come, once and for all, to give Pennsylvanians the freedom to choose their own wine and spirits -- without the government's monopoly of mediocrity. Government in the booze business has always been a lose business. Let's give our legislators a final push to let them know the time is now to get government out of the booze business! Currently, this issue is stalled in the House of Representatives so your phone calls, emails and faxes can have a positive effect in getting this to a vote before the Legislators leave Harrisburg for the Summer.

By allowing our attention to be focused exclusively on the danger and prevention of terrorism, we ignore the many other ways we are being attacked. Specifically, we are missing what our Islamist enemies call their 'civilization jihad' - a form of warfare that employs manipulative financial techniques, lawfare, infiltration of our civil institutions and government and insidious information dominance. Together, these have the effect of exploiting our liberties and governing structures against us, so that our leaders wind up imposing the very anti-American values that our enemies promote.
Welcome to The Muslim Brotherhood in America: The Enemy Within - a 10-part, web-based video briefing that is designed to explain why and how this is happening.
It addresses a threat most Americans are unaware even exists within our country, let alone the degree of peril it represents. The threat is the totalitarian, supremacist Islamic doctrine its adherents call "shariah" and the organized, disciplined and increasingly successful efforts by such adherents-- most especially the Muslim Brotherhood-- to bring it here.
We are making this course available in the hope of encouraging, informing and broadening support for national efforts to defeat the insinuation into this country of shariah's anti-constitutional and seditious program.

"Losing our Sons": Documentary looks at domestic Islamic radicalization and jihadization
Charles Jacobs at Americans for Peace and Tolerance announced today the release of a trailer for their upcoming documentary, "Losing Our Sons", featuring Melvin Bledsoe - father of domestic terrorist Carlos Bledsoe aka Abdulhakim Mohamed who gunned down US Army recruiter Pvt. William Long at an Army-Navy recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas in June 2009. Melvin Bledsoe testified at the House Homeland Security Committee hearing earlier this month.
The upcoming documentary discusses how Bledsoe was radicalized by the Muslim Student Association in Tennessee and sent to terrorist training in Yemen with the written recommendation of the imam of a Nashville mosque. It also discusses how the agents of radicalization in the Nashville Muslim community have been aided by collaborators in the establishment media, politics and the so-called "interfaith" community.

The U.S. Constitution
A Reader
Divided into eleven sections with introductions by members of Hillsdale's Politics Department faculty, readings cover the principles of the American founding, the framing and structure of the Constitution, the secession crisis and the Civil War, the Progressive rejection of the Constitution, and the building of the administrative state based on Progressive principles.

About Hillsdale College
Hillsdale College is a private, coeducational, residential, liberal arts college with approximately 1,400 students. Founded in 1844, the College remains, in the words of its Articles of Association, "grateful to God for the inestimable blessings resulting from the presence of civil and religious liberty and intelligent piety" in our nation, and dedicated to "the diffusion of sound learning" that is "essential to the perpetuity of these blessings."
Hillsdale College is distinguished by its rigorous core curriculum, by its principled rejection of federal and state taxpayer funding, and by the pledge of its Board of Trustees to resists any attempts by the government to regulate its internal affairs. Hillsdale College promotes the principles of liberty nationwide through its national speech digest, Imprimis, which has a monthly circulation of over 2 million, and through several outreach programs. In 2008, Hillsdale launched its Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship in Washington, D.C. The College will also launch the Hillsdale Graduate School of Statesmanship in fall 2012. |

From July 16 through July 18, 2012, Christians United for Israel will be holding its 7th Annual Washington Summit. We're going back to stand with Israel in our nation's capital. This year - more than ever - we need you to join us!
In the coming months, critical decisions are going to be made about Iran, Israel and the world. Finally, Washington is beginning to focus on the issue of a nuclear Iran. Many of our leaders want to confront this looming threat. But others want to keep kicking the can down the road. The debate is far from over.
- We know that when thousands of CUFI activists arrive in DC and on Capitol Hill, we can change the conversation.
- We can remind our leaders that a nuclear Iran is not only a threat to Israel, but to the US as well. And we can demonstrate to our elected officials that their constituents care enough about this issue to show up at their DC offices.
- We know that we can create a sense of immediacy that's otherwise lacking.
- We know that the more of us who show up and speak out -- the louder our voice and the greater our impact.
We stand at a critical juncture in history. Don't be silent! Don't miss your chance to make a difference! Don't pass up your opportunity to defend America and bless Israel!
Our leaders need to remember that we are watching them and we need to remember that God is watching us.
The time to speak out for Israel is now! Please register today for CUFI's 2012 DC Summit.

Tonight, Sunday June 3rd, CUFI Founder and Chairman, Pastor John Hagee, will be announcing an exciting new CUFI initiative. You can click here to watch it live at 7:30 PM Eastern (6:30 PM Central, 5:30 PM Mountain, 4:30 PM Pacific). This link will not be live until 7:30 PM Eastern (6:30 PM Central, 5:30 PM Mountain, 4:30 PM Pacific) tonight.
Tonight, Pastor Hagee will be announcing the creation of the Israel Defense Fund. This emergency fund will enable CUFI to meet the major challenges we anticipate in the coming months.
CUFI has accomplished great things for Israel. But the times in which we live demand that we do even more -- and do so now!
We need to do more to defend Israel in the public square and in the media. The Israel Defense Fund will enable us to purchase more pro-Israel billboards across America as well as full-page newspaper ads as circumstances demand.
We need to do more to defend Israel on our college campuses. The Israel Defense Fund will enable us to train even more students and hold even more pro-Israel events on campuses across the country.
We need to do more to defend Israel before our leaders. The Israel Defense Fund will enable us to be more active than ever in educating our nation's leaders about the justice of Israel's cause.
Even if you can't watch the broadcast, don't miss out on the opportunity to be part of the Israel Defense Fund! Click here now to contribute.
We will not be silent. Together, we will do more than ever to stand up and speak up for Israel.
May God Bless You and Those that You Love, David Brog Executive Director CUFI

The Case Against Obamacare: Health Care Policy Series for the 112th Congress
A Health Care Policy Series for the 112th Congress
Building on decades of Heritage research, The Case Against Obamacare: A Health Care Policy Series for the 112th Congress examines 15 key provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Each report:
- Cites specific sections of the 2,700-page health care law
- Provides detailed analysis of specific Obamacare provisions
- Identifies key principles for a better way to reform health care
The unmistakable conclusion of this series is that Obamacare must be fully repealed. Congress cannot build sound market-based health care reform on the flawed foundation of this health care law. Until it can be repealed, Congress must employ its full powers authorized by the Constitution to:

Tell your congressional representatives to stand up to Panetta
Urge your elected officials to stop making excuses, take charge and aggressively put an end to President Obama and Panetta's domestic war against our faith.
June 19, 2012
There was a time in our history when military leaders were men...real men. They stood their ground against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That was until President Obama put Leon Panetta in charge of the Department of Defense. Now the nation's top military leader's uniform comes with a large yellow streak down its back.
According to OneNewsNow and other national reports, Bibles can no longer be emblazoned with the official insignia of the different branches of the U.S. military.
LifeWay Christian Resources spokesman Marty King says the military branches have revoked their prior authorization to use the official service emblems on the Soldier's Bible, Sailor's Bible, Marine's Bible and Airman's Bible. King says permission to use the insignia was granted in 2003.
That permission was withdrawn last year because the Military Religious Freedom Foundation threatened to sue if the military didn't cower to their demands.
The Bibles were sold at no cost to the government and service members voluntarily purchased them. At no point were military members coerced or encouraged by their superiors to buy the books. They were simply for sale in the military exchange stores.
TAKE ACTION
Your U.S. Representative and Senators need to step up and fight the war on religious freedom in the military. It's obviously clear Secretary Panetta doesn't have the stomach for it.
Urge them to quit making excuses, take charge, and aggressively put an end to President Obama and Panetta's domestic war against our faith.
AFA has prepared a letter for you to send. You may send it as written, or write your own message.

Victory Center" on Facebook
-Gabriel Malor
Last week I had the opportunity to get a sneak-peek at the RNC's new Facebook application. Designed, in the words of one RNC staffer to "take our message where the people are," the Social Victory Center app will, among other things, hook users up with campaign news targeted based on their location and preferences (which Facebook already knows, of course), let users join volunteer efforts, distribute voter registration forms, and provide an online phone bank, all without leaving the Facebook website. It will also, if users wish, put those activities on the user's Facebook wall, letting their friends see what they're up to and, hopefully, encouraging them to join in.

It's an attempt to leverage Facebook's popularity in a new way and, at the moment, the Democrats have nothing like it. The Social Victory Center was unveiled to the public yesterday, so if you're on Facebook, check it out. As the general election ramps up, check back for volunteer activities as they're added. Also, like I did in 2008, I'll be pushing online phone banking in the final weeks of the election, only this time the RNC will have done the heavy-lifting that the McCain team wasn't too keen on. RedState Morning Briefing
For June 21, 2012
1. Obama's Blatant Disregard for the Constitution is Appalling
In order to become President, Barack Obama had to swear to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. But three years later, I am disgusted with the disregard that the President continues to show to our Constitution. Has he forgotten about the separation of executive, judicial and legislative branches found in our founding document? Our founders gave us a system of checks and balances so that one person could never seize more power than was provided in the Constitution.
President Obama's actions demonstrate that he thinks he's above the law. When he doesn't get his way, he creates new policies to his liking.
2. More Data About Squishy Republicans Busts Common Theory on Squishiness
Why do so many Republicans vote like squishes, often siding with Democrats on issues - or at least not voting with conservatives in the House?
The most common theory is that these Republicans are in tight races in swing districts. They have to sometimes cross the aisle. They have to sometimes vote like squishes just to stay elected.
The Madison Project this morning is completely blowing up that common and oft repeated theory.
3. The Facade of Transparency has Crumbled: Executive Privilege Seals Fast & Furious Documents
In a stunning move, Eric Holder's request for President Obama to assert executive privilege over documents related the Fast & Furious scandal has been granted.
Darrell Issa's committee went ahead, nonetheless, and voted to hold Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.
4. Tax Cuts for the Rich - Bad; Subsidies - Good
Barack Obama and the Democrats have promised to make this election a turning point in the fight to make the rich "pay their fair share" of taxes. They are using biblical innuendo to suggest that it is immoral for the top 1% of earners (who happen to make 17% of nation AGI) to only pay 36.7% of the federal income taxes. This is their hill to die on.
Accordingly, one would expect Democrats to be the first ones to issue garrulous protestations against farm handouts for the rich. At present, more than 3/4 of farmers who earn upwards of $250,000 a year receive subsidies from at least one farm program. Farm subsidies and crop insurance programs help promote income inequality in farming by offering larger subsidies to those who already have larger farms. These farmers can enjoy multimillion dollar insurance policies that are subsidized in order to guarantee their multimillion dollar investments that would otherwise not be supported by the free market. Also, federal guarantees of bankers' loans to rich farmers have further increased their borrowing capacity, thereby driving up the cost of land acquisition. This, in turn, has shut out small farmers from the business, making it nearly impossible for them to compete.

It appears that what amounts to a military coup has removed the threat of a Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt. That's a great relief to many who feared that such an Islamist state abutting Hamas-ruled Gaza would overturn the situation that had simplified Israel's strategic equation for more than 30 years. Whether the new military dictators in Cairo will help maintain the relative stability that existed under Hosni Mubarak is yet to be seen. Another question is whether the rage of frustrated Islamists and the others who fueled the country's Arab Spring protests will bubble over into a bloody civil war that would also impact Israel. But while the prospects of such spectacular disasters move to the back burner, Israelis must continue to cope with more routine horrors. This morning, a Gaza-based terror squad crossed Egyptian territory to launch an attack on Israel. They ambushed cars carrying civilian workers with rifle fire, anti-tank weapons and explosives. One Israeli, an Arab from Haifa, was killed. Israeli forces quickly pursued and killed two of the terrorists. The attack was reminiscent of a similar terrorist operation carried out further south near Eilat last year. Today's incident is an indication of how dangerous Egyptian Sinai has become in the last year as the regime in Cairo tottered and Mubarak's successors loosened the blockade of Gaza. But it also shows how perilous Israel's southern border remains. Since the beginning of the year, 280 rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel despite the cease-fire that is supposed to prevail between the Hamas terrorists who run the strip and the Jewish state. Despite this, we are told by apologists for the Palestinians that Hamas has abandoned violence and that it is once again time for Israel to start making more concessions. The problem is not just that the terrorist attacks from Gaza via Egypt and the rocket fire have continued. It is that the West's attitude is Israel must simply endure them in the way residents of big cities are supposed to get used to high crime rates. Indeed, that is pretty much the way most Israelis regard their southern border. But these pinpricks are a reminder of what would happen if the West Bank were to come under the influence of Hamas following an Israeli withdrawal that those hoping to revive the peace process envision. Only then, it would not be the open spaces of the Negev that would fall under terrorist fire but metropolitan Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. As the Egyptian crisis grows more worrisome, the latest violence in the south is just one more reason why the overwhelming majority of Israelis believe that such a withdrawal-in the absence of a sea change in Palestinian attitudes about peace-would be madness. President Barack Obama asserted executive privilege for the first time Wednesday, escalating a fight with congressional Republicans over documents about a gun-trafficking probe.

The issue in F&F is not the withholding of DOJ documents. The issue is the reckless provision of an arsenal fit for an army to violent cartels, quite predictably resulting in the murders of possibly hundreds of people including at least one United States law enforcement officer.

"Mr. President, why do you favor foreign workers over Americans?" That was the obvious question Barack Obama refused to answer when a reporter, doing his job, sought an answer rather than a canned teleprompter presentation.
That is, indeed, the question that begs for an answer. And Obama simply wouldn't answer that question, not in the middle of his remarks, or at the end of his statement, or at any other time.

Israeli demographics have always made for a chaotic political culture. While to the outside world, it's a nation of Jews, internally it's a nation of Russians, Anglos, native Sabras, Yemenites, Syrians, Persians and a hundred others. Even the smallest group has its compartmentalized identities: the delicate differences between immigrants from a single country but different towns, the countless distinctions among its religious communities in their own way are united and disunited. The politics of such a country encompass too many groups to list. There are the 19th Century Hungarian immigrants who came in preparation for the coming of the Messiah and have resented all other Jews who came before them or after them as usurpers: these form much of the Neturei Karta, a fanatical group that rejects the State of Israel. There were the German Jews who brought with them an equally fanatical efficiency, building chicken processing plants that were as clean as operating tables. There are the truly old Jerusalemites and the immigrants who have just arrived and are already learning to resent the new immigrants who get off the plane and expect to have everything handed to them on a silver platter. Israeli politics are born out of the chaos of the nation's demographics. Its Knesset is a room where fanatical atheists and the fanatical religious, urbanites and hill-dwellers, representatives of Russian and Middle Eastern Jews, settlers and Arabs, feminists and patriarchs, socialists and capitalists, scream at each other for hours, not always for the reasons you expect, and do nothing constructive. That makes Israeli politics a lot like everyone else's politics, but it has its unique features as well. The Israeli left is one of the few socialist movements in the First World to lose power because of immigration. Around the same time that Western immigration policies were being tuned to bring in populations with less investment in their new nations, new Israeli immigrants were more patriotic and nationalistic. To understand the effect, imagine that the United States today was being flooded, not with the morass of Mexicans, Haitians, Pakistanis and Kenyans, but with Irish and Italian immigrants who had no hesitation about flying the Stars and Stripes or identifying with their new country. Russian and Middle-Eastern Jews who arrived in Israel (and the United States) were more likely to be conservative and to regard the left's growing preoccupation with appeasing terrorists with suspicion. And in a two party system, their votes would have prevented the left from ever doing more than having a few token elected members denounce the state on the floor of the Knesset before slinking back to their cafes. The Israeli left was never particularly fond of immigration to Israel. Their ideal from the start was a land settled by a cadre of young men and women, trained in their schools and indoctrinated with their ideology. British restrictions of Jewish immigration were not nearly as troubling to them as they were to the right. Israel, as they saw it, would be for a small chosen elite, a socialist enterprise that the vast majority of European Jews did not have the skills or temperament to participate in. Their vision of a country consisting of collective farms and a few state-operated enterprises under a single union was ended by the Holocaust. While the right took the lead in smuggling Jews into Israel, particularly in the fading days of the war, the left had still not come to grips with a country overrun being overrun by the kind of people they had wanted to leave behind. http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2012/06/demographics-of-israeli-politics.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+FromNyToIsraelSultanRevealsTheStoriesBehindTheNews+%28from+NY+to+Israel+Sultan+Reveals+The+Stories+Behind+the+News%29

Decision Time for ObamaCare
Having filed eight amicus briefs in this historic case, the ACRU awaits the Supreme Court's landmark ruling on ObamaCare. Will the Constitution be upheld, or will the relationship between the government and the people be forever changed?
The Supreme Court and Obamacare: Eight Possible Outcomes
This column by ACRU Senior Legal Analyst Ken Klukowski was published June 13, 2012 on Breitbart.com. Everyone is now waiting for the U.S. Supreme Court to hand down its decision in NFIB v. Sebelius, the name of the case frequently referred to simply as "Obamacare." Lawyers argued four issues before the justices who will decide the fate of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and there are eight possible outcomes. Some are more likely than others, and some are more consequential than others. In fact, one would change this country forever. But aside from that one apocalyptic scenario, there are several outcomes that will carry the legal force of a tsunami and could change parts of the constitutional landscape for decades to comeed.

Obama's Power Grabs Create an Imperial Presidency This column by ACRU Senior Fellow Ken Blackwell and ACRU Senior Legal Analyst Ken Klukowski was published June 18, 2012 on The Huffington Post. In 2010 we published a book arguing that Barack Obama was creating an imperial presidency. The past few months prove that prediction was correct. First President Obama's EPA claimed power to create cap-and-trade through new regulations, rather than Congress passing a law. Then Obama's FCC claimed the power to regulate the Internet, despite a federal appeals court ruling that only Congress could authorize such control through legislation. More recently, Obama's Department of HHS issued regulations requiring Catholic and evangelical organizations to violate their religious conscience regarding birth control and abortion-related services. Then we got a double-whammy in just one week. First Obama flaunts the fact that he refuses to defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in court, despite the fact that every administration is duty-bound to defend federal statutes, and there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth if a conservative Republican president failed to defend a liberal law in court. Afterward, Obama announces that, having failed to get the DREAM Act through Congress, he will simply accomplish its provisions by ordering the government to stop enforcing the law by not deporting certain illegal aliens, and then break the law by taking the affirmative step of actually issuing those people work visas. Obama strategy: Paint GOP as old, straight, and white
Politico | Jim Vandehei and Mike Allen | Tuesday, June 19, 2012
President Barack Obama's campaign wants to turn Mitt Romney into the candidate of old, straight, white men. ...
The Obama campaign spent weeks playing up the contraception fight and pushing legislation to guarantee women equal pay for equal work - and then crowing about how women were fleeing the GOP. Obama got pushed into backing gay marriage more quickly than he wanted - but once he did, the campaign milked it for days to try to make Romney look like a throwback. And now, the president is trying to drive a wedge between Romney and Hispanic voters with a sustained push to soften U.S. deportation policy. Read More . . .

Corrupt consigliere Eric Holder defies Republican leadership, welches on promise of "good faith"
Jun 20, 2012 06:13 am | Coach Collins
by Doug Book, staff writer
Years as an avid, hands on "facilitator" for corrupt Democrat presidents have taught Attorney General Eric Holder that contempt and cynicism are the best weapons against annoying Republicans in search of facts. In yesterday's eagerly anticipated meeting with Darrell Issa, Holder did exactly what anyone familiar with the arrogant racketeer might expect. He ignored vows he made to the Republican Congressman about bringing the matter of Fast and Furious to "an amicable resolution" by demanding today's scheduled House contempt of congress vote be cancelled before any of his Department's subpoenaed Fast and Furious documents would be handed over to the Issa Committee.
"The [Justice] Department is prepared to compromise with the Committee in order to answer the questions set forth," promised the Attorney General just 5 days earlier. But Holder's concept of compromise is that of any self-serving, leftist chiseler, that being to swindle the mark.

The first formal "Father's Day" was celebrated JUNE 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington. Sonora Louise Smart Dodd heard a church sermon on the newly established Mother's Day and wanted to honor her father, Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, who had raised six children by himself after his wife died in childbirth. Sonora drew up a petition supported by the Young Men's Christian Association and the ministers of Spokane. In 1916, Woodrow Wilson spoke at a Spokane Fathers' Day service. President Nixon, in 1972, established Father's Day as a permanent national observance. On Father's Day, 1988, Ronald Reagan said: "Children, vulnerable and dependent, desperately need security, and it has ever been a duty and a joy of fatherhood to offer it. Being a father requires strength...and more than a little courage...to persevere, to fight discouragement, and to keep working for the family." Catholic Health Association's Sister Keehan remembers she is a Catholic does a 180 on Obamacare

By Kevin "Coach" Collins
Contrary to the wishes of liberal Catholics and their Democrat pals, the Catholic Church is a religion founded on principles and teachings that cannot be changed because they deem them old fashion or embarrassing. The Catholic Church is not a club whose rules are malleable and subject to the whims of the "beautiful people."
The Church is used to dealing with treacherous attacks from proudly fallen away Catholics in the media and the entertainment world, but not from Catholic nuns seeking the love of the world rather than the love of God.
In 2010 the Congress was solidly controlled by liberal Democrats lusting for ways to increase their power and the number of abortions through Obamacare. America's Catholic Bishops recognized the dangers Obamcare posed to Catholic teachings and asked for help in fighting Obamacare. They asked Catholics especially those, in the medical professions, to help in the fight against the evils they knew it ... "A fondness for power is implanted, in most men, and it is natural to abuse it, when acquired." --Alexander Hamilton
Editorial Exegesis
Obama bows to Mexican President Felipe Calderon
"On the subject of [Obama's] decision [Friday] to unilaterally enact sweeping changes to U.S. immigration policy on nothing but his own say-so, we would like to introduce Barack Obama to Barack Obama, who during a Univision interview just last year affirmed: 'America is a nation of laws, which means I, as the president, am obligated to enforce the law. ... There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as president.' A little softness in the polls and one executive order later, the president has reversed himself. The president's executive order will categorically prevent the deportation of certain illegal immigrants who came to the United States as children. It will also grant them work authorizations to which they would not otherwise be entitled under law. ... The president's executive order violates the constitutional separation of powers that defines the political architecture of our republic. If Congress allows this illegitimate executive order to stand, it will have in effect delegated its power to make law to the president. This executive order would, therefore, be entirely unacceptable even if it represented good policy. But it does not. ... The amnesty proponents will of course point to any number of cases in which a young person is facing a painful situation through no fault of his own, and one would have to have a heart as hard as coffin nails not to sympathize, but the fact is that it was not the people of the United States who put these young people in legal jeopardy -- it was their parents. Without first ensuring effective enforcement at the border and at the workplace, any step toward normalizing the status of those here in violation of the law invites more of the same abuse and disorder." --National Review
What's your take on Obama's new immigration policy?
Upright
"President Obama's claim that he can refuse to deport 800,000 aliens here in the country illegally illustrates the unprecedented stretching of the Constitution and the rule of law. ... [W]hat we have here is a president who is refusing to carry out federal law simply because he disagrees with Congress's policy choices. That is an exercise of executive power that even the most stalwart defenders of an energetic executive -- not to mention the Framers -- cannot support." --attorney John Yoo
"Make no mistake: this is classic sleight-of-hand, designed to get the country roiled up about something -- make that anything -- that will obscure the monumental failure best labeled Obamanomics. It is the proverbial boob bait for the masses, delivered by an administration that desperately needs Americans distracted away from the reality of a double-dip recession, record numbers of people on food stamps, millions of un- and under-employed workers, and no plan whatsoever for dealing with our impending fiscal Armageddon, other than blaming Republicans for their failures." --columnist Arnold Ahlert
"Since Ronald Reagan, the Republican Party has given its presidential nomination four times to the Bush family. Other times, to Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney. Where's the extremist in that lot?" --columnist George Will
"Remember when Obama declared that Americans had to pull together, because what united us was stronger than what divided us? Yeah, not so much. President Obama's re-election campaign has been an exercise in fragmentation. Where the 2008 campaign was built thematically around the notion that a polarized electorate was bad for the country and that election of a third-way, multi-racial president could symbolically overcome our divisions once and for all, the 2012 campaign is built on precisely the opposite notion: Americans united in opposition to Obama's agenda must be divided again. ... Obama now realizes that he can't win by uniting Americans. He can only win by dividing us." --columnist Ben Shapiro
"When President Barack Obama announced his 2012 launch of 'African Americans for Obama', the silence was deafening. Should the same standards be applied to Obama as would be applied to Romney? The answer turns out to be no, because Obama is not held to the same standards as Romney. ... Black people ought to be offended by the idea that we are held accountable to lower standards of conduct and achievement. White people ought to be ashamed for permitting and fostering racial double standards that have effects that are in some ways worse than the cruel racism of yesteryear." --economist Walter E. Williams

Yet most people support laws against political speech -- when they don't like the speakers. ... But political (and religious) speech is exactly what the Founders were eager to protect when they wrote the First Amendment. ... Don't progressives realize that corporations (and unions, which also had their speech rights protected) are associations of individuals -- individuals who have rights? ... It is shameful that leftists let their hatred of corporations lead them to throw free speech under the bus. There is a smarter way to get corporate money out of politics: Shrink the state. If government has fewer favors to sell, citizens will spend less money trying to win them." --columnist John Stossel

She commented on a pending abortion bill by first announcing that she was Jewish, kept kosher, described her various sets of plates, and then saying that Jewish law makes abortion mandatory to save the life of the mother.

Sacramento 'Teacher of the Year' laid off

"My favorite teachers growing up were the ones who challenged me to go out of my comfort level a little bit, strive for the stars, and work hard," the veteran California educator wrote on her school's bio page.
But her own hard work wasn't enough to keep her employed.
Despite just being named Sacramento's "Teacher of the Year," Apperson was laid off as part of a massive budget cut.

Wednesday, June 20, 2012 To: Friends & Supporters From: Gary L. Bauer COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY: 140 DAYS TO THE 2012 ELECTIONS Click here to listen now. Obama Blocks Release of Fast & Furious Documents The standoff between the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and Attorney General Eric Holder escalated dramatically today. In a last ditch effort to prevent the release of documents related to Operation Fast and Furious, President Obama asserted the right of executive privilege. In short, Holder now has the president's explicit permission to withhold the documents from Congress. Or, in fact, Obama has ordered Holder not to release them. The administration is clearly desperate to shut down this investigation. Holder's meeting with Chairman Issa came to an abrupt end last night after Holder showed up with none of the requested documents and then demanded that Issa end his investigation in exchange for some of the documents. Issa refused. Let's review the basics of this controversy. Obama officials, over the objections of field agents, allowed weapons purchased in the U.S. to fall into the hands of drug cartels in Mexico. A Border Patrol Agent is dead as a result of this decision. The Justice Department sent false information to Congress initially denying it had allowed guns to be transferred to Mexico. Congress is demanding answers. In response to Obama's claim of executive privilege, Senator Charles Grassley, ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, fired back. He said:
"The assertion of executive privilege raises monumental questions. How can the president assert executive privilege if there was no White House involvement? How can the president exert executive privilege over documents he's supposedly never seen? Is something very big being hidden to go to this extreme?"
You would think, heading into the final months of the election, that the White House would want this issue to go away. But Obama's extraordinary intervention only guarantees it will become an even bigger story. Stay tuned! Washington's Spending Addiction Barack Obama and his liberal Democrat allies are always arguing that Big Government needs more revenue and that too many Americans are under-taxed. But the Obama-controlled Senate proved yesterday that the problem really is out-of-control spending. As the Senate debated the farm bill yesterday, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) offered a series of amendments to make minor cuts to spending on food stamps. Because of the Obama recession, millions are on food stamps, and the program is rife with waste. In 2008, 28 million Americans received food stamps. Today, a record 44.7 million receive them. As the Wall Street Journal points out, "The cost has more than doubled in that same period to $78 billion. ...One in seven Americans now qualifies." But this is not just a matter of helping the truly needy. The government is running radio and TV ads urging people to sign up. According to the Journal, "A federal website boasts about strategies that have 'increased program participation.' ...In the 1990s Bill Clinton boasted that welfare reform took Americans off the dole. The Obama Administration boasts about how many it has added." In fact, one of Sen. Session's amendments attempted to cut $500 million in bonuses "to states that sign up more people for food stamps." Every single member of the Democrat majority voted against this amendment. Every Democrat voted to continue subsidizing the efforts of state bureaucracies to get more people on food stamps, which is then used to justify more bloated big government welfare spending. Who's paying for all of this? The pool of hard-working taxpayers who make up America's ever-shrinking workforce. Apparently Greece is now the model for Obama and his allies. Washington's Favorite Guessing Game Every four years, Washington reporters work themselves into a frenzy trying to guess who the presidential candidates will pick as their running mates. Since it is generally assumed that Obama will stick with Joe Biden, the media are obsessed with every little hint about whom Romney will select. Yesterday morning the media buzz was that Florida Senator Marco Rubio was not being vetted. Later in the day Governor Romney insisted that his campaign was vetting Rubio. There are rumors that Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is likely to be named the next president of Perdue University, taking him out of contention. There has been talk about Governors Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Bobby Jindal and Bob McDonnell, Senators Kelly Ayotte, John Thune and Rob Portman, as well as Rep. Paul Ryan. But insiders say the front-runner is former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. As one conservative consultant notes, Pawlenty "checks all the boxes." For example:
- He dropped out of the primary early (before it got ugly) and endorsed Romney.
- He has been a frequent and effective surrogate for Romney.
- He comes from the upper Midwest, and many expect Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan to be key battleground states.
- He appeals to working-class, blue collar voters. Pawlenty is the son of a truck driver and has written that the GOP should be the party of Sam's Club, not just the country club.
- He is an evangelical Christian with a solid commitment to pro-family, pro-life values.
In short, Pawlenty may be exactly who Romney is looking for to complete the GOP ticket.

Who is Barack Obama, etc.?

Following up on Paul Mirengoff's "Who is Barack Obama and why is he saying untrue things about himself?," I want to draw attention to Andrew Ferguson's brilliant Weekly Standard cover story of a few weeks back, "Self-made man." There is an unstated backdrop to Andy's recent article. In "The literary Obama," back in 2007, Andy expressed great admiration for Dreams From My Father. With the 2007 article in mind, one can observe that Andy was taken in by the story on offer in Dreams. He took it at face value. His current essay is the work of a disenchanted former admirer of the book.

 | Horovitz On Times Of Israel | White House asserts executive privilege claim to further DOJ’s Fast and Furious cover-up Posted: 20 Jun 2012 08:48 AM PDT With the House of Representatives poised to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt, President Obama has granted Holder's request to assert executive privilege in refusing to turn over documents to Congress related to the Fast and Furious scandal. This won't insulate Holder from being held in contempt. Rather, the White House presumably hopes the assertion will improve Holder's position if/when his dispute with the House reaches the judicial system. In requesting that Obama assert executive privilege, Holder said he is "very concerned that the compelled production to Congress of internal Executive Branch documents generated in the course of the deliberative process concerning its response to congressional oversight would have significant and damaging consequences." This, he added, "would raise substantial separation of powers concerns and potentially create an imbalance in the relationship" between Congress and the White House." Read More . . .

The list of problems with President Obama's health care law is extensive. Among other things,
- It encourages government dependency
- It delegates the authority of making health care decisions to the government
- It moves our country's health care system further in the wrong direction
- It's unconstitutional
The law is fundamentally problematic and it must be repealed, even if the Supreme Court rules to uphold it this week or next.
There's a better way. Heritage Foundation health care expert Nina Owcharenko has helped formulate a plan to save our country's health care system. She explains her proposal:
|
These health reforms are based on the principles of individual choice and market competition, where individuals, not the government, are empowered to control health care dollars and decisions. These steps would set incentives to make the health care sector more accountable to the patient.

Auto Bailout or UAW Bailout?
The U.S. government will lose about $23 billion on the 2008-2009 bailout of General Motors and Chrysler. President Obama emphatically defends his decision to subsidize the automakers, arguing it was necessary to prevent massive job losses. It could have-had the Administration required the United Auto Workers (UAW) to accept standard bankruptcy concessions instead of granting the union preferential treatment. Postal Pension 'Refund' Is a Disguised Taxpayer Bailout
Calls to refund "overpayments" by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to the retirement of postal workers are misguided. The better choice is to follow the private-sector practice of using the current surplus-whatever it is-to defray future retirement payments.

Obama's War on Domestic Energy Production
Today, the Senate will vote on the fate of one of the most expensive regulations of all time--a regulation that threatens to create an America with no new coal-fired power plants, where existing energy producers might have to close their doors, snuffing out jobs and making electricity dramatically more expensive. Citing mercury pollution and air pollution, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ordered businesses to install the "Maximum Achievable Control Technology" (MACT) to control emissions from their plants. Known as Utility MACT, this is no ordinary regulation. So stringent are the standards that potentially dozens of coal-fired power plants will close rather than incur the unsustainable costs of compliance. The EPA estimates the rule will cost $9.6 billion annually, to be paid by utilities and customers alike for new equipment, monitoring and reporting, loss of generating capacity, and higher electricity rates. Industry insiders consider the agency figures to be a lowball estimate. Heritage's David Kreutzer has called Utility MACT "a costly fraud" because it raises the scary specter of mercury but really targets carbon dioxide. He explains:
The proponents of the proposed rule tell stories of mercury poisoning and point to benefit estimates as though they reflect a reduced incidence of mercury poisoning. However, even the EPA's own cost-benefit calculations reveal that this is not a mercury rule in any meaningful sense--less than one-tenth of one percent of the estimated benefits come from mercury abatement.
Not only is the stated reasoning behind the rule misleading, but it may also be impossible to comply with. Southern Company, America's largest utility, said that based on company data from actual upgrade projects, the EPA's compliance timetable for Utility MACT is simply impossible to achieve. Southern has undertaken more upgrade and compliance projects than any other power producer. Southern warned that it would bring "more power plant closures, spikes in electricity prices, job losses, and increased power outages." Plants that can't be upgraded in time must be taken offline in 2015. With less power available on the grid, electricity prices are forecast to spike by 11.5 percent nationwide in 2016, causing hundreds of thousands of job losses across the economy, according to National Economic Research Associates. Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) calls the rule "the centerpiece of President Obama's war on coal" and has called for today's vote in an attempt to declare it void. The President has threatened to veto Inhofe's resolution if it passes. After all, EPA's regulatory rampage is meant to fulfill Obama's energy vision for America: that "electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket" when energy producers have to comply with regulations and pass those costs on to consumers, and that "if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It's just that it will bankrupt them." This comes at a perilous time for the economy. Forcing businesses to waste tens or hundreds of billions of dollars per year on environmental upgrades of questionable value means that money isn't available to invest in business expansions or create jobs. These economic costs have also been felt by consumers and business suffering under three years of unnecessarily high oil prices. With roughly 3 percent of federal land available for exploration--production on that small sliver declining--new regulations and proposed taxes and a host of other anti-oil measures, the President is making it harder and harder to access our nation's rich oil reserves. Even in this demoralizing regulatory landscape, Americans are still innovating in energy production. Residents of Tioga, North Dakota, are showing the rest of the country how profitable domestic energy could be--if the federal government doesn't halt the town's economic boom. Thanks to fracking--a process where rock is fractured to tap oil-rich underground resources--the Tioga area is flourishing. So many people are moving to the area that it hasn't been able to build enough houses to keep up with demand. North Dakota is proving that the U.S. can develop its resources efficiently and in an environmentally sensible manner. Oil production has quadrupled since 2005--North Dakota is now the second-largest oil producer in the U.S. behind Texas--and state regulators have effectively balanced economic growth and environmental protection. North Dakota is only one of many states that are beginning to reap the economic benefits of fracking and other advances in drilling technology to harvest previously inaccessible oil deposits. But these leaps forward are only possible because regulations haven't crushed these efforts--yet. When Congress has put up roadblocks to the Obama Administration's agenda, the President has swerved around the legislative process and issued orders through regulation. His EPA has pursued a host of regulations that will kill millions of jobs, challenging Congress to try and stop it. Today, the Senate could take one step in that direction, but it will take a serious fight to maintain the level of economic freedom needed to create jobs and meet the country's energy needs.

Stop the Big-Spending Farm Bill
|
Last week you set a record. Over ten thousand conservatives like you sent email messages to their Senators opposing the farm bill. In 12 hours. Fearful of a taxpayer rebellion, Harry Reid is moving the farm bill forward in a hurry, which is why we're mounting a charge to keep him from spending another trillion dollars. >> Call your Senators and urge them to oppose the farm bill now. With your help, we'll show them that conservatives won't stop fighting until Washington's spending binge is brought to an end. Please make the call now and be sure to use our site to send us a report on how it went. Your calls and the intel your reports give us will help us push the right Senators to take a stand against the big-spending farm bill.
Sincerely,
Russ Vought Political Director Heritage Action for America

Make sure to watch this Thursday at 7pm ET (or watch on demand) to see who shows up for this week's hilarious precursor to the big B.S. of A. season finale. The all new "Invite Friends" program! Glenn is very excited to launch the new "Invite Friends" program making it easy for you to share the GBTV programming with your friends and family.
Malkin destroys arrogant Juan Williams Resident lefty on FNC Juan Williams is usually fairly cordial, but he had a pretty low moment last week when he arrogantly talked down to Michelle Malkin. An irritated Williams unleashed the ego and said 'real journalists' like him were sooo much better than lowly 'bloggers' out there on the blogosphere -- only to be slam dunked by Malkin.
Obamanomics: Americans lose 40% of their wealth under Obama While the President is busy saying the economy is 'fine,' the Federal Reserve has released estimates that American net worth has dropped 40%, and the median income has dropped 8%. You have to wonder what definition of 'fine' the President is using. If 'fine' equals mired in a nasty malaise, then he's 100% correct. WATCH
"This is what a dictator does" - Obama enacts the Dream Act without a vote or even exec order This is perhaps the most disturbing play by Obama yet. Forget the legislative process, he's just granting immunity to illegal immigrants because he wants to. No Congress, no nothing. A cowardly act clearly designed to pander for votes. Horrible.
Team Obama 'treats' troops to lunch, leaves without paying the bill "The One" apparently thought gracing the troops with his presence was reward enough - because he got up from a planned lunch at a restaurant in D.C. and didn't bother to pay the bill. This move was particularly ironic given just a couple days earlier Obama compared the GOP to people who don't pay their tabs at restaurants. WATCH
Are you still watching GBTV on your computer? Thousands of Glenn's fans have discovered a simple way to watch all of this amazing content on their TV. Learn more about GBTV on Roku, then pick one up today and start watching from the comfort of your own couch tonight!

On Today's Program Glenn absolutely shreds MSNBC & their pattern of lies, smears and partisan attacks Glenn unleashed on MSNBC today, exposing a recent string of blatantly false and inflammatory segments. Beginning with a bizarre smear on Ann Romney and how she treats her MS, all the way to Andrea Mitchell's hack job, which she refused to apologize for. Hear the stunning smears and Glenn's blistering reaction. Last night on GBTV:
Contempt: Issa, GOP hold Eric Holder's feet to the fire on Operation Fast & Furious Rep. Darrell Issa is preparing to slap Eric Holder with contempt of Congress for his role in covering up Operation Fast & Furious. President Obama recently made the strange move to use executive privileges in order to keep the docs sealed. Glenn's reaction HERE. IRONY ALERT: Jon Stewart talks executive privilege in '05
The Left vs. The Right: It's all about context The radical left loves to label America as a violent, oppressive nation. But they fail to mention the 'evil' history of America comes from the far left under progressive leaders. Ever wonder why the left hates Glenn so much despite his honesty on America's negative history? Because he does what the left is afraid to do, tell the truth in context. Almost too disturbing to watch: Viral video shows middle schoolers abusing and threatening bus monitor - WATCH Staff tries to make up for ruining history by bringing in fish Yesterday one of Glenn's rare historical artifacts was literally washed away when an overzealous cleaning person tried to do the right thing. That ended with a one-of-a-kind autographed bit of artwork being washed clean, signature and all. How could the staff possibly rectify the situation? Prepare for your summer cookout while supporting small businesses! Soak up the flavor of this gourmet BBQ sauce basket from Bacon Freak, or experience this combination pack of savory sauces from Van Roehling Sauces and rubs. Planning a camping trip? Make sure you include the collapsible tent cot from Kamp-Rite in your adventure! However you're celebrating the 4th of July this summer, The Marketplace has you covered. Recall Fifty Shades of Grey FAIL (but good job Cowards!) The numbers are coming in - was COWARDS able to top middle-aged mom porn series Fifty Shades of Grey for the #1 spot? Nope. Apparently people would rather read a trashy erotic novel more than the truth about our political system. Pretty sad -- but the good news is that COWARDS was the next book in line after the trilogy of filth (and was the #1 overall non-fiction book in the country)! How did Glenn react to not beating a sleazy porn book? Who is the BIGGEST Coward? Today we find out who the biggest coward is - it's the 100 Days of Cowards FINAL matchup! The #1 seeded liars and deceivers of the MAINSTREAM MEDIA have been working hard this week to earn the title. Andrea Mitchell's recent Romney smear combined with Mike Bloomberg openly publishing lies will make them a tough opponent for the underdog, #4 seed PLANNED PARENTHOOD. Make sure to get your votes in now! Tomorrow Glenn will reveal which cowardly establishment will be receiving a signed copy of his new book COWARDS.

Cupp caught on flight from Hell S.E. Cupp found herself in the news for something other than her political commentary - this time she actually got caught in the middle of it. A Jet Blue flight out of Las Vegas experienced some major technical difficulties after takeoff, and was instructed to land. They had to circle for over 4 hours before landing. It was a hair raising experience for all, including S.E., but thankfully everyone is ok. STORY From The 4th Hour: Andrea Mitchell responded to MSNBC's widely covered edits on Mitt Romney yesterday with an infuriating non-apology. Not only did they "not get a chance" to play Romney's full clip, they must have also run out of time for the truth behind Wawa. Stu and Pat explain
