General Boykin to Beck: 'I Believe Iran Has a Nuclear Warhead Now'
The Blaze | by Mytheos Holt | Posted on March 7, 2012 at 9:33pm
"Don't worry, President Obama says he's not bluffing now, Glenn, he's not bluffing. He really means it this time," Stakelbeck said sarcastically. "When you have to reassure your enemies that you mean business, you're not bluffing, you're probably bluffing."
When Glenn asked how close Iran was to having a nuclear weapon, Stakelbeck said he believed they were "very, very close." General Boykin was more pessimistic.
"I have a different view, Glenn, I believe that Iran has a nuclear warhead now. Now, that's gonna shock a lot of people, but they've been working for 25 years and they've had the assistance of North Korea as well as the Russians. You don't work for 25 years without succeeding in the development of a warhead."

Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution
Available to you, your family, your friends, and all Americans.
Weeks One & Two Now Available - Sign Up TODAY!
 | Dr. Larry P. Arnn |
Over the years, many friends of Hillsdale, those who never attended college here, have said to me: "Dr. Arnn, I wish I could take Hillsdale's Constitution course!"
In response to these requests, this past year, for the first time ever, Hillsdale College offered the "Introduction to the Constitution" lecture series at no charge. Frankly, I wasn't sure what sort of a response a course like this would have.
That's why I was excited to see that YOU and almost 200,000 other people from all over the United States registered for "Introduction to the Constitution."
Thank you very much for registering and participating. I hope you learned a lot from the series.
I was thrilled, not only by the response, but at what it indicates: Americans are willing and eager learn about the Constitution and to defend the principles of liberty that made America so prosperous!
And this re-awakening of national interest in the Constitution comes not a minute too soon.
Now, for the first time ever, Hillsdale College is offering a no-cost 10-week online Constitution course based on the class Hillsdale College students must complete for graduation:
"Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution"
This course on the U.S. Constitution is available online at no charge to anyone who wants to understand and defend the timeless principles of liberty upon which our nation was founded!
I am proud to be teaching part of our NEW "Constitution 101" course and hope YOU will be one of my students again!
"Constitution 101" begins on February 20, 2012, and concludes the week of April 30. It will cover such topics as the Declaration of Independence and its connection to the Constitution, how the Constitution is structured to protect individual liberty and ensure good government, the crisis of constitutional government faced by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, and modern challenges to the Constitution during the "Progressive" era.
It is my honor to teach the first class, "The American Mind," and the final class, "The Recovery of the Constitution." All of the classes will be taught by Hillsdale College professors - the top teachers in their field and the same ones who instruct our students here on Hillsdale's campus.

The U.S. Constitution
A Reader
Divided into eleven sections with introductions by members of Hillsdale's Politics Department faculty, readings cover the principles of the American founding, the framing and structure of the Constitution, the secession crisis and the Civil War, the Progressive rejection of the Constitution, and the building of the administrative state based on Progressive principles.
Editorial Note: Just received a couple of copies of the reader. Not just a short course pamphlet this; with the heft of 'Atlas Shrugged', it is well worth getting whether or not you choose to take the course.
About Hillsdale College
Hillsdale College is a private, coeducational, residential, liberal arts college with approximately 1,400 students. Founded in 1844, the College remains, in the words of its Articles of Association, "grateful to God for the inestimable blessings resulting from the presence of civil and religious liberty and intelligent piety" in our nation, and dedicated to "the diffusion of sound learning" that is "essential to the perpetuity of these blessings."
Hillsdale College is distinguished by its rigorous core curriculum, by its principled rejection of federal and state taxpayer funding, and by the pledge of its Board of Trustees to resists any attempts by the government to regulate its internal affairs. Hillsdale College promotes the principles of liberty nationwide through its national speech digest, Imprimis, which has a monthly circulation of over 2 million, and through several outreach programs. In 2008, Hillsdale launched its Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship in Washington, D.C. The College will also launch the Hillsdale Graduate School of Statesmanship in fall 2012. |

Of Central Montgomery County
PTPP of Central MOntco Monthly Meeting Thursday March 8, 2012 The Rock Cafe, 857 Main Street, Harleysville 7-9 PM
Speaker - David Baldinger Topic Property Tax Independence Act
House Bill 1776, The Property Tax Independence Act, will be introduced shortly in the Pennsylvania house and Senate. This bill is designed to accomplish the following:
- Eliminate school property and local school nuisance taxes across the Commonwealth and replace those taxes with funding from a single state source.
- Introduce a modernized school funding method that is based on 21st century economic realities.
- ABOLISH the school property tax as well as eliminate the local school earned income tax and nuisance taxes such as the per capita and privilege-to-work taxes imposed by school districts.
- Utilize in great measure our current sales tax mechanism to fund schools, restoring the original intent of the tax.
- Shift school funding to a predictable and stable funding source that is tied to economic growth. This is in clear contrast to the school property tax which is not based on economic growth and is subject to much variation.
- Address the problem of current school spending regularly exceeding tax revenue head-on by limiting school budget increases to the rate of inflation.
I know you have questions and concerns! David Baldinger will answer them at our meeting Thursday March 8, 2012. Bring a neighbor! For more information check out the Pennsylvania Taxpayers Cyber Coalition website www.ptcc.us

The bad news is last month some well intentioned political activist announced a cut-off date for signing up co-sponsors for Rep. Rose Marie Swanger's American Law's for American Courts (HB 2029) in an effort to inject some urgency into the effort.
What it resulted in was an interruption of the campaign to encourage those Representatives not yet signed on as co-sponsors to join with those Legislators who have already recognized the death by smothering threat to our Constitution.
The good news is there is no cut-off date for adding co-sponsors and we are once again asking your readers to contact their representatives and ask they join the battle.
There are only three Representatives from Bucks who are co-sponsors, Representatives Clymer, Petri and Quinn and we thank them for showing their colors.
But that leaves seven more Representatives who appear to be still standing on the sidelines as the battle for our existence as a free people is joined.
Lame rhetoric? I'm afraid not. If you do not understand the threat we face from 'peaceful' opportunists like CAIR, visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bucksafa11info/messages or contact me at bucksafa11@yahoo.com to schedule an Open the Koran presentation for you and your friends.
If you're ready to help, visit www.actforamerica.org and sign on as a chapter leader. It's free and the people there are friendly and helpful. Your help is needed. Every township, every neighborhood needs an Act! for America chapter leader.
But before you do anything, if your Pennsylvania Representative has not yet ssigned on as co-sponsor, urge her/him to do so and ask what is it that prevents him/her from doing so.
Help Pennsylvania be counted among those States that have shown the courage to face off with the enemies who have plainly stated their aim is to destroy our Nation. Our laws have worked just fine since colonial times. What is needed are politicians who respect them. And you know whose job it is to remind them of that.
Thanks,
John Ryan

CAIR's Fight Against Pennsylvania Foreign Law Bill
by David J. Rusin FrontPage Magazine February 13, 2012
http://www.islamist-watch.org/9192/cair-fight-against-pennsylvania-foreign-law-bill
Resistance to a new bill aimed at limiting foreign law in Pennsylvania courts serves as a case study of how Islamists and their allies operate: peddling falsehoods about Shari'a, painting Muslims as victims, and denying that anyone seeks to institutionalize aspects of Islamic law - even as they vigorously promote that very agenda. With similar legislation being debated across the U.S., understanding their tactics is critical.
At issue in Pennsylvania is House Bill (HB) 2029, which stipulates that "a tribunal shall not consider a foreign legal code or system which does not grant ... the same fundamental liberties, rights and privileges" as guaranteed by the federal and state constitutions. Introduced in November, it follows the American Laws for American Courts (ALAC) model and makes no mention of Shari'a. A preliminary memo sent to legislators last June in the name of Rep. RoseMarie Swanger, HB 2029's chief sponsor, does highlight Islamic law, but she later said that it had been circulated accidentally. Regardless, concerns about Shari'a are warranted due to its many provisions that conflict with the standards of American jurisprudence. For example, it disadvantages women in terms of inheritance, divorce, child custody, and other areas of family law. Shari'a already has shaped numerous cases nationwide, including in Pennsylvania, where one state court decided how assets should be distributed according to Islam.
Pushback against HB 2029 has been led by the Philadelphia office of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-PA) and was punctuated by an interfaith press conference (video here) at CAIR-PA headquarters on December 14. The overall campaign reflects CAIR's usual recipe of distortion, victimology, and contradiction between words and deeds.
Attacks on bills like HB 2029 begin by sowing confusion about Shari'a. Because Islamic law encompasses virtually every facet of life - governing personal activities such as eating and worship, but also forming an oppressive social and legal structure - suit-and-tie Islamists work to emphasize its unthreatening pieces whenever possible. CAIR-PA executive director Moein Khawaja's suggestion that Shari'a should worry Pennsylvanians no more than halal gyros is a fine example of this technique.

March 23rd, 2012, marks an important and unfortunate anniversary. It will have been exactly two years since President Obama forced his unpopular health care takeover onto the American people. Americans for Prosperity has educated the public about the dangers of government interference in the health care market for the past several years, and now the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments and make a ruling on that very issue. As you are most likely aware, the U.S. Supreme Court will be considering the constitutionality of several elements of the President's health care bill. This may be our best chance to overturn this offense against our health care freedoms. That's why Americans for Prosperity will be hosting a Hands Off My Health Care rally for free-market grassroots activists from across the country at the Supreme Court on March 27th. Help Principled Candidates Win
Campaign Training Seminar
March 16-17, 2012 ~ Harrisburg, PA
Voters today - perhaps more than at any time in recent history - are yearning for principled candidates committed to standing strong for the timeless values upon which our country was founded and standing stronger against the politics-as-usual establishment working to undermine those values.
The Winning Campaigns Training Seminar shows principled candidates, campaign staff, and grassroots activists how to run winning campaigns without compromising their values - with a special emphasis placed on running and winning primaries. You'll learn:
- Secrets campaign pros use to develop winning strategies.
- How to raise all the money you need to win even if you've never raised money before.
- Keys to persuading voters in-person, through the mail, over the phone, and online.
Who should attend? Current & future candidates, campaign staff and consultants, campaign volunteers, grassroots citizen activists.
What's the cost? Nothing, it's free, but you must register in advance. A group of donors concerned about the political leadership in our state have generously underwritten the cost of the seminar.

To Everyone Who Helped with Verify the Recall - Thank You!

Proving That We the PeopleWill Stand in the Gap of Government to Uphold Election Integrity
Here's What You Accomplished IN 22 DAYS:
- 14,000+ volunteers joined in from 49 states
- 3.5 MILLION records were entered
- 192.2 GB total bandwidth
- 23,529,926 total requests
- 481,002 were attempted threats to the site
We proved that the unions had nowhere near the 1,000,000 signatures they touted - and that of the actual signatures turned in, at least 25% and possibly up to 40%, had critical errors.
Did the unions legitimately compile the 520,000 signatures necessary to trigger a recall election? We'll let the public decide.
Our goal was neither to support or negate the outcome - our goal was to uphold the integrity of the process.
Reports will be posted online on Monday, February 27th. You can check them out here.

John Stossel - May 2, 2012
The Union League of Philadelphia
Luncheon: 12:00 - 1:30PM

After years of obeying our parents, we are programmed to think that anytime there is a problem, whether it's companies going bankrupt or schools keeping kids stupid, government action is the way to solve it. Using his decades of reporting, Stossel tackles how those intuitive, knee-jerk reactions lead us astray.
Central planning sounds right. It feels good. But it has nothing to do with the realities of economics and science. There is nothing that government can do that we cannot do better as free individuals - and as groups of individuals, working together voluntarily, not at the point of a gun or under threat of a fine. Without big government, our possibilities are limitless.

The Case Against Obamacare: Health Care Policy Series for the 112th Congress
A Health Care Policy Series for the 112th Congress
Building on decades of Heritage research, The Case Against Obamacare: A Health Care Policy Series for the 112th Congress examines 15 key provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Each report:
- Cites specific sections of the 2,700-page health care law
- Provides detailed analysis of specific Obamacare provisions
- Identifies key principles for a better way to reform health care
The unmistakable conclusion of this series is that Obamacare must be fully repealed. Congress cannot build sound market-based health care reform on the flawed foundation of this health care law. Until it can be repealed, Congress must employ its full powers authorized by the Constitution to:

Deception, betrayal, and dishonesty. These are not appealing traits in elected officials, but sadly, they aptly describe many Republican lawmakers across the country feverishly working to implement ObamaCare. Would you believe that Governor Tom Corbett is among those Republicans diligently complying with ObamaCare? Despite the fact that Pennsylvania is party to the lawsuit being heard before the Supreme Court, Tom Corbett is implementing the law in our state. ObamaCare requires that each state set up what is known as a Health Insurance Exchange. In theory, these exchanges will be one-stop online shops where individuals will pool together to purchase insurance. Without a state-created exchange, the individual mandate cannot be enforced. As in all bureaucracies, there are some major downfalls, not the least of which is the anticipated spike in the cost of insurance. Other significant issues include: - The federal government will dictate what insurers may participate
- The federal government will decide minimum coverage-potentially including such elective procedures as breast augmentation and face lifts
- The federal government will stipulate how the exchange is run
I could go on, but I'm certain you recognize the theme. The federal government will control every aspect of our health care. Yet, Governor Corbett claims that establishing CorbettCare will protect Pennsylvania citizens from undue federal regulation. The opposite is actually true. Creation of the CorbettCare Exchange does great harm and forces onerous federal regulations on our state. Governor Corbett is readily ceding state Sovereignty to the central government, and relinquishing all authority on health care matters. Our state has already requested and accepted over $33 million to set up the exchange! Merely accepting and spending federal funds requires absolute obedience to federal government regulations, and the loss of state sovereignty. A key responsibility of state officials is to protect our sovereignty, yet our legislators may be considering legislation to assist in the establishment of CorbettCare. And like obedient little children, these turncoats expect you to forget their empty promises, ignore their campaign rhetoric, and blame the Federal Government for all of the many losses you will suffer as a result. Click here to sign the petition demanding that the over $33 million in grant funds be returned and all contingency plans to submit to ObamaCare be abandoned immediately! If you'd like to tell Governor Corbett how you feel about this scheme, you can reach him at 717-787-2500. There are over 1 billion reasons why some states are establishing these exchanges-and each reason has a dollar sign attached. With over $1 billion at stake, and more than $700 million already sent to complicit states, it's easy to understand why greedy politicians have their hands out before the court can rule. These funds are being used all over the country to enrich political allies and the well-connected. A case of buyer's remorse from an Obama voter and former supporter
by Teresa Sarne Edmond on March 6, 2012
My name is Teresa, and I voted for Obama. And I regret it.
Like many Americans, I was at the edge of my seat during the 2008 Democrat presidential primary, when it was neck and neck between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama. I was rooting for Obama. Between his Ivy League background, his inspirational "Hope and Change" rhetoric and, well, his race, I wanted him to make history.
Through his landmark victory at the polls to his inauguration, my heart swelled with pride at knowing that in my lifetime, a black person was elected the most powerful leader in the world. It was a momentous occasion for schools too. Students gathered in auditoriums to watch his historic inauguration on TV and big screens. My daughter wore a blue sweater with the American flag on it that day.
Immediately after taking office, Obama rolled up his sleeves and set to work fixing the economy. He passed the $787 billion Stimulus Act in February 2009, and I thought, This man is really getting down to business!
No surprise Republicans didn't feel this way. In February 2009, when I was covering an NJ GOP gubernatorial candidate's visit to a local Republican club, I felt like I was in a lion's den as a Democrat. Republicans I spoke to after the candidate's address said they didn't like what Obama was "doing to this country." Did you forget we're in this financial hole because of Bush's decision to launch a meaningless war? I thought. Did you forget that he green lighted an $800 billion bank bailout? Did you forget it was Bush's fault we're in this mess?
And I was thrilled when I learned from watching CNN that the Democrats passed the healthcare reform in 2010, realizing every liberal's dream for all to get affordable, accessible healthcare coverage. Apparently the Republicans thumbed their noses at this, but those selfish jerks didn't care about the 46 million people in the US without health insurance, I figured.
When the media was flooded with images of Tea Party members -- stereotyped as uncouth, backwoods, standard English-challenged white people -- with their protests signs demanding to "take their country back." I thought what any "free-thinking" liberal would think: "RACISTS!" It wasn't until a few years later, when I watched online videos (notice, plural) of black people at these rallies I realized the movement wasn't rooted in racism, but a genuine interest in saving the Constitution from a man who is seeking to alter its purpose for the sake of "liberalism."
Over time, Obama's "Change we can believe in" mantra lost its luster to me, starting with the administration's $80 billion auto industry bailout. Later, the government's bid to stimulate the alternative energy industry by loaning Solyndra $535 million went under when the company filed for bankruptcy in 2011. These turning points made me wake up to the fact that this nation's condition under Obama's leadership was a freaky roller coaster that wasn't going to end any time soon. Stop the ride -- I wanna get off!
The last straw for me was Obama's insistence that religious institutions cover employees' contraceptives with insurance -- a clear undermine of freedom of religion. Continuing his failure to understand these institutions' viewpoints, the Obama administration is strong arming these institutions by fining them $100 per day per employee. This could "bankrupt religious institutions that do not qualify for an exemption," LifeSiteNews.net reports.
Looking back at Obama's actions in the last four years ... now I get where his opponents are coming from. The Stimulus Act -- not a good idea; to keep debt down, you rein in spending, not throw it away. ObamaCare -- this is only going to hike up taxes. According to Real Clear Politics, ObamaCare already taxes by $00 billion over the next 10 years. But of course, all this is no surprise to anyone who protested his ideas to begin with;)
Yep, that "change" Obama promised did this country something, all right. At the dawn of Obama's term, the national gas price average was under $2, the national debt was about $10.7 trillion and national unemployment rate was 7.6 percent. Now the gas price average is almost $4, we're $15 trillion in the hole and the unemployment rate is 9.1 percent. What's more, the number of children in poverty ballooned by 2 million in the last two years and food stamp use spiked 70 percent during Obama's term.
I'm throwing my support to the Republicans, namely Mitt Romney, whom I'm voting for in the New Jersey June 6 primary. Even if Romney doesn't win the presidential nomination, I'm still voting Republican (even if it's Gingrich, whom I despise).
I'm tired of seeing Barack Obama running our precious Constitution through the shredder, steamrolling it and setting it on fire.
I'm tired of his mission and mandates eradicating what makes this country so great: actual hard work for gainful results and freedom to be what you want to be and do what you want to do. As an American daughter of an African-American man and a Filipina who emigrated and became a U.S. citizen, this country gave me and my family so much.
Most of all, I'm tired of knowing my daughter -- my precious, naive soon-to-be 10-year-old daughter who has no idea what she'll get into in 10 years -- is an unwitting debtor of a steep national IOU resulted from a broken economy and incompetent politicians.

RedState Morning Briefing
For March 8, 2012
1. Super Tuesday By The Numbers
The voting is over, and so for the most part is the counting. The delegate math, I leave to others; let's take a look at how the popular vote has shaped up over the course of this primary season and what conclusions we can draw. First, the overall popular vote before Super Tuesday, on Super Tuesday, and to date.* In addition to listing the candidates' individual vote totals, I've classified them in three groups: the five conservative candidates (Santorum, Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann and Cain), the two moderate candidates (Romney and Hunstman) and the libertarian (Paul). While there will undoubtedly be some grousing over the use of those labels, I think it's uncontroversial to note that Santorum, Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann and Cain all built their campaigns around appealing first to the conservative wing of the party and reaching out from there, while Romney and Huntsman took the opposite approach (and Paul, of course, is in his own category), so this turns out to be a reasonably useful descriptor of how the electorate has broken out between the voters responding to these different appeals. If anything, this overstates the moderate voting bloc, as Romney's "electability" argument, among other things (including religious loyalties among Mormon voters), has tended in exit polls to draw him some chunk of conservative support.

There are three obvious conclusions here. One, Romney is steadily outpolling any one of his individual rivals, cementing his frontrunner status. Two, his frontrunner status derives entirely from the division among his opponents: the conservatives have consistently outpolled the moderates. And three, despite winning his home state of Massachusetts by a 60-point, 220,000 vote margin on Super Tuesday and despite none of the conservatives being on the ballot in Virginia, Romney's not getting any stronger - even with Perry and Bachmann out of the race and Cain not drawing a single recorded vote, the conservatives drew a majority of the votes on Tuesday. Thus, as Romney pulls away in the delegate race and thus advances closer to being the nominee, he does so over the sustained objections of a near-majority faction of the party. More optimistically, the strength of the conservative vote - even in a year when that vote is fractured and underfunded and the remaining conservative candidates are decidedly subpar - bodes well for conservative candidates who can unify that vote in the future.
2. What is 'Winning Our Future' PAC Doing With Sheldon Adelson's Money? Is 'Winning Our Future', the Super PAC affiliated with Newt Gingrich and mostly funded by Sheldon Adelson using Mr. Adelson's money wisely? I only ask because yesterday - the day after Super Tuesday - I was still hearing their not very good advertisements on radio in Georgia. I noted that on twitter and subsequently had individuals tell me that the PAC is still running ads in Florida, Michigan, and even in Iowa. A radio host in South Florida confirmed for me he has heard the ads there recently. Most troubling, several Virginia residents tell me the PAC ran ads there despite Gingrich not being on the ballot. All of this, I should be clear, comes in from reports on twitter except for the recent report from Florida and my own experience in Georgia after the election. One might presume that the advertisements in Georgia and Florida were actually targeting Alabama, except Atlanta radio does not penetrate Alabama, nor does radio from Southern Florida where the ads have been heard on the radio. Additionally, some of them could be national ad buys running on national shows, but not all of them are. 3. Judge David Flanagan linked to Scott Walker recall. Twice. Quick background, as to why you should care: Judge Flanagan has placed a temporary (although you can count on the Democrats wanting to put that adjective in scare quotes, and right quickly) restraining order on last year's Wisconsin voter reform law mandating that voters show picture ID. There are a few "this just happens" involved, here: - This just happens to prevent Voter ID from being implemented in Wisconsin's open Presidential primary in April 3rd. Normally that wouldn't be all that big a deal, except that this year the Democrats are openly calling for disrupting the Republican nomination process.
- This just happens to be a judge who last year signed a recall petition against Governor Scott Walker. And Flanagan neglected to admit to this event, prior to making his decision.
- And this just happens to be a judge who has former Kathleen Falk (and current Wisconsin Education Association Council) adviser Melissa Mulliken as his campaign manager. This is important because Falk is of course running against Scott Walker in the recall election - and WEAC has preemptively endorsed Falk. Also, Mulliken has been prominent in the anti-Walker crusade.
4. Lots of Taxpayer Green Going to Greens Democrats have a penchant to misconstrue the parlance related to tax credits and subsidies. They refer to subsidies as tax cuts and tax cuts as subsidies. They would have you believe that oil companies are completely on the dole, while solar and wind companies are heavily taxed entities in desperate need of some "tax breaks" and loans in order to alleviate the burden of producing their auspicious form of energy. Yesterday, CBO released a report stating the obvious. They found that in 2011, federal subsidies for green energy totaled $24 billion. Also, between 2009 and 2012, the DOE provided $25 billion in loans "primarily to producers of advanced vehicles, generators of solar power, and manufacturers of solar equipment." Fossil fuels, on the other hand, received $3.4 billion in "tax preferences." 5. Senate Republicans and Boehner Unite Against Conservatives Who needs Democrats when so many Republicans are willing to orchestrate their agenda for them? The Senate is on the precipice of passing Barbara Boxer's highway bill with overwhelming support. Mitch McConnell is negotiating a deal with Harry Reid in which Republicans would be granted a vote on some of their choice non-germane amendments. After Democrats summarily defeat those amendments, Republicans will return the favor by voting for the underlying bill, which overspends its revenue source by 43% and raises taxes to bridge the gap. The sad thing is that S. 1813 is not just Boxer's highway bill. It was supported by every Republican on the committee level, and only 9 Republicans voted against cloture to proceed with the bill on the floor.

Press Conference Leaves Many Questions Unanswered
Yesterday, President Barack Obama ended his months-long press conference drought and faced the White House press corps. Unfortunately for the American people, questions on some of the biggest issues facing the country remain unanswered.
The 100-ton elephant in the room that wasn't discussed? The economy. Though the President would like to revel in the country's recent spate of moderate economic growth, all is not well in America. More than 8 percent of Americans remain unemployed -- nearly 13 million in total. What's more, only 63.7 percent of adult Americans are active in the labor force -- the lowest amount since 1983. New jobs are being created, but not nearly enough. The current economic recovery is the slowest recovery in the post-war era. And four years after the recession started, the economy still has not replaced the jobs lost in the downturn.
So given this economic backdrop, one might think the President would be asked what he plans to do to spur growth, or three years after his much-vaunted stimulus, why is the recovery so slow? Another key question: The President once stated that raising taxes is anathema to economic recovery, and yesterday credited lower taxes on the middle class for economic growth. But he is still proposing raising taxes by two trillion dollars. How will massive tax hikes on job creators spur job growth, if helping Americans get back to work is his goal? If you wanted to hear those questions on the economy answered, you were sorely disappointed.

QUICK HITS In yesterday's Super Tuesday primaries, Mitt Romney secured victory in Ohio and five other states, Rick Santorum picked up wins in three states, and Newt Gingrich won his home state of Georgia. Stocks fell sharply yesterday, dropping 200 points, making for the biggest decline so far in 2012. News of tepid global economic growth and more concerns over Greece's debt fueled the loss. Six soldiers from the United Kingdom were killed in an explosion in Afghanistan on Tuesday. Prime Minister David Cameron said it was a "desperately sad day for our country." As if California's high-speed bullet train wasn't going to cost enough already, analysts now say the state budget will have to allot more than $700 million each year to repay billions of dollars that will be borrowed to pay for the boondoggle. Does unprecedented deficit-spending on projects like highways stimulate the economy? You'll be surprised at the conclusion reached in a recent story in The Washington Post. Read about it on The Foundry.

High School's Chant of "USA, USA, USA" Deemed Racist
Posted on March 7, 2012 by Conservative Byte
Last time we checked, this was still the USA, but that is racist according to teachers:
A local school district is apologizing after an apparent incident of racism at a boys high school basketball game this past weekend.
When the final whistle blew Saturday, Alamo Heights celebrated a convincing victory over San Antonio Edison.
Alamo Heights Head Coach Andrew Brewer said he was proud of his team.
"Tremendously proud," Brewer said. "Tremendously. It's the best group of kids."
But it was just after the trophy presentation when the coach was not proud of the chant coming from Alamo Heights fans.
"USA, USA, USA," they chanted.
San Antonio Independent School District officials took the chant as a racial insult to a school with all minority players from a school with mostly white ones.
On the KSAT 12 Defenders Facebook page, Santos Villarreal's post reads "this has to stop."

The GOP fight
Editor's Note: The Patriot Post has not endorsed any GOP candidate in the primary.
"Each candidate won where he should have. ... Romney won in Massachusetts, Vermont, and Virginia -- where neither Santorum nor Gingrich were even on the ballot. Santorum can only wonder what his night might have been like had he had the campaign infrastructure to get his name on the ballot in [Virginia]. Santorum won in Tennessee, Oklahoma, and North Dakota - which I thought might be a Ron Paul win. ... Mitt Romney's campaign will claim that the real contest is for winning delegates, not winning the popular vote in these states and he's right. But, the story of last night was supposed to be that the race was now all but over because Romney demonstrated such strength in so many places. ... [I]t was far more of a struggle than it was supposed to have been. ... Rick Santorum is not going anywhere. He will have the political support and the money to continue at least through the rest of the Spring and perhaps all the way to June. Or, all the way to August." --political analyst Rich Galen
"It was an 'eh' night for Romney, although he avoided catastrophe by pulling out a razor-thin win in Ohio where he was trailing most of the night. Otherwise, he won one state where he used to be governor (Massachusetts), a small Northeastern state (Vermont), an essentially uncontested Southern state (Virginia), a heavily Mormon state out West (Idaho) and Alaska. In Virginia, he couldn't get to 60 percent against just Ron Paul. Rarely has a candidate seemed so inevitable and so weak at the same time. ... A clear demographic split was evident in Ohio. Santorum won non-college graduates and Romney college graduates. Santorum won voters making less than $100,000, Romney voters making more than $100,000. This speaks to a weakness with the working class that could hurt Romney in the fall if he's the nominee." --National Review editor Rich Lowry
What's your take on Super Tuesday?
"So why are the Left and the media still pushing and publicizing a campaign for advertisers to dump the [Rush] Limbaugh show and end his career? ... Liberals want this government-mandate controversy to be not about religious liberty, which is devastating, but about contraceptives, which works in their favor. That is intellectually dishonest. They want to position conservatives as 'anti-women.' ... The Left honors their own pundits as 'brilliant' for verbally assaulting women, then circulates petitions calling for advertisers to drop the Limbaugh show because his 'anti-woman tirades are appalling.' To the Left, this is simply an opportunity to put their attacks on religious liberty in a feminist frame, and an opportunity to try and shut down Limbaugh." --columnist L. Brent Bozell
"It was just a few days ago that General Motors announced it was [temporarily] killing the Chevy Volt. ... [Monday], the Geneva Auto Show named the Volt its 2012 Car of the Year. ... You can even drive 'an EPA-estimated 35 miles' without gas! Which means you can hit the 7-11, Whole Foods, and pot dispensary in one trip before having to recharge for three hours. ... It turns out that after crash tests done by federal safety regulators, the batteries burst into flame. No wonder there are over 6,000 unsold Volts in stock. Perhaps we can ship them to Europe. In five years, President Obama can buy one ... from abroad. Your stimulus dollars at work!" --columnist Ben Shapiro
Editorial Exegesis
Editor's Note: Just for fun, here's what The New York Times thinks of the Republican primary.
"Long before Super Tuesday, the Republican Party had cemented itself on the distant right of American politics, with a primary campaign that has been relentlessly nasty, divisive and vapid. Barbara Bush, the former first lady, was so repelled that on Tuesday she called it the worst she'd ever seen. We feel the same way. This country has serious economic problems and profound national security challenges. But the Republican candidates are so deep in the trenches of cultural and religious warfare that they aren't offering any solutions. The results Tuesday night did not settle the race. Republican voters will have to go on for some time choosing between a candidate, Mitt Romney, who stands for nothing except country-club capitalism, and a candidate, Rick Santorum, so blinkered by his ideology that it's hard to imagine him considering any alternative ideas or listening to any dissenting voice. There are differences. Mr. Santorum is usually more extreme in his statements than Mr. Romney, especially in his intolerance of gay and lesbian Americans and his belief that religion -- his religion -- should define policy and politics. ... Mr. Romney has been slightly more temperate. But, in his desperation to prove himself to the ultraright, he has joined in the attacks on same-sex marriage, abortion and even birth control. He has never called Mr. Santorum on his more bigoted rants. Neither politician is offering hard-hit American workers anything beyond long discredited trickle-down economics, more tax cuts for the rich, a weakening of the social safety net and more of the deregulation that nearly crashed the system in 2008." --The New York Times

Don't drill, baby: "Well, if there's one thing I know about New Hampshire, it's that your political bull detector is pretty sharp. You know we can't just drill our way to lower gas prices. You know there aren't any quick fixes or silver bullets." --Barack Obama
Gas prices are about his re-election -- no wait, they're about families: "[J]ust from a political perspective, do you think the president of the United States going into re-election wants gas prices to go up higher? ... Look, here's the bottom line with respect to gas prices: I want gas prices lower because they hurt families." --Barack Obama
He protests too much: "So if during this political season you hear some question my administration's support for Israel, remember that it's not backed up by the facts. And remember that the U.S.-Israel relationship is simply too important to be distorted by partisan politics. ... Hope needs another four years: "Around the world, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela -- what they did was hard. It takes time. It takes more than a single term. It takes more than a single president. It takes more than a single individual." --Barack Obama
He just cheats at everything else: "I am very proud of the fact I do not cheat when I'm playing golf." --Barack Obama

The BIG Lie: "Now does President Obama understand what contraception is and how it works? I don't know. I kind of assume that he does. But the point is that there is a difference between the two parties on this issue right now. And it maybe doesn't matter if he gets it. Because he's not and the Democrats aren't playing doctor on this issue. They're not saying that the government should be the ones who make the decisions about contraception and how your lady parts work." --MSNBC's Rachel Maddow

See how Barbara Walters and crew handled that verbal assault HERE.

Power to the People's Overseers
This column by ACRU Senior Fellow Robert Knight was published March 5, 2012 in The Washington Times.
Liberals love coercion. They think they're smarter than the rest of us. If they didn't, they wouldn't expend so much effort inventing new rules and laws for our betterment.
Just this past week, liberal Democrats imposed the counterfeit of homosexual "marriage" on the people of Maryland, shot down expanded gun rights in Iowa and defeated an amendment in the U.S. Senate restoring conscience protections against the Obama administration's contraceptive and abortifacient mandate to Catholic hospitals.
They were joined in the latter by "moderate" Republican Sen. Olympia J. Snowe of Maine, whose announced departure at the end of her term has generated crocodile tears among those whose favorite "moderates" are Republicans who cave on cue.

ACRU Remembers Dr. James Q. Wilson
American Civil Rights Union Founding Policy Board Member James Q. Wilson, Ph.D., died on March 2 at the age of 80, leaving behind an unparalleled wealth of social science insights and writing. "This is a tremendous loss to us and to the world of scholarship," said Susan A. Carleson, Chairman and CEO of the American Civil Rights Union (ACRU). "Dr. Wilson, who graced our board since its founding, was best known for his 'broken windows' theory of social breakdown, but he cast his critical eye on virtually every modern political and social development. " He and ACRU founder Bob Carleson first became friends at kindergarten in 1936 in Long Beach, California. "Bob and Jim lost track of each other as the years passed, and it wasn't until one morning when Bob was on the campaign trail for Ronald Reagan in1980 that their paths would cross again. Bob was in a hotel room shaving and the TV news was on in the background," Mrs. Carleson recounted. "The host announced that the next guest would be a professor from Harvard. Bob sighed and continued to shave but after a few minutes he got curious because the Harvard professor was making sense. Bob squinted at the face on the screen, noted the name, Dr. James Q. Wilson, and declared 'Oh my God, it's Jimmy Wilson.'"

Fakegate: The Obnoxious Fabrication of Global Warming
This column by ACRU General Counsel and Senior Fellow for the Carleson Center for Public Policy (CCPP) Peter Ferrara was published March 1, 2012 on Forbes.com.
About every four years, the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) produces a voluminous Assessment Report (AR) on the state of global warming science, such as it is. Two years after each AR, the IPCC produces an updating Interim Report. In 2008, The Heartland Institute, headquartered in Chicago, began organizing international conferences of scientists from across the globe who want to raise and discuss intellectually troubling questions and doubts regarding the theory that human activity is causing ultimately catastrophic global warming. Six conferences have taken place to date, attracting more than 3,000 scientists, journalists, and interested citizens from all over the world. (Full disclosure: As indicated by my nearby bio, I am a Heartland Senior Fellow, one of several affiliations I have with free-market think tanks and advocacy groups.)

Obama loses Democratic primary in 15 Oklahoma counties
Published March 07, 2012 | Associated Press
President Obama collected the most votes in the Oklahoma Democratic primary, but lost in 15 counties.
With 98 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday, Obama won 57 percent of the vote. Four other candidates combined for 43 percent of the vote, including anti-abortion activist and Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry who received 18 percent of the vote.
According to Democratic Party rules, Terry is eligible for a delegate since he won more than 15 percent of the statewide vote. Terry beat Obama in 12 counties, mostly in western Oklahoma.
Terry acknowledges he can't win the presidency but says he hopes to cause Obama's defeat in the fall.
Oklahoma earned the nickname "reddest of the red" states after Obama's failed to win a single county in the 2008 presidential race.

COMMENTARY:
Obama's Driving Americans out of Cars By Terence P. Jeffrey Do rising gas prices distress the leading intellects in the Obama administration? There is good reason to believe the opposite. The Left's War on Babies By L. Brent Bozell III Supporters of Obama's contraception mandate have defined anyone who opposes it as waging a "war against women," even though no one actually is killing women. The same cannot be said for what the cultural left favors - a war against babies that does involve killing. The War on Conservative Women By Michelle Malkin I'm sorry Rush Limbaugh called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" because it gives the civility police an opening to demonize the entire right based on one radio comment - when it's the progressive left in this country that has viciously and systematically slimed female conservatives -- including me -- for their beliefs. Doesn't Feel Like It, But Romney Won By Rich Galen Mitt Romney's campaign will claim that the real contest is for winning delegates, and he's right. But the story of last night was supposed to be that the race was now all but over because Romney demonstrated such strength in so many places.

As Democrat Rep. Dennis Kucinich lost a primary contest in Ohio, Super Tuesday produced three winners, one loser, and a Republican Party still in search of a nominee. Frontrunner Mitt Romney won Idaho, Virginia, Vermont, Alaska, and his home state of Massachusetts. Rick Santorum, who had dropped in national polls in recent days, scored victories in Oklahoma and Tennessee, and continued his dominance in the Great Plains with a win in North Dakota. Newt Gingrich took his home state of Georgia.

Wednesday, March 7, 2012 To: Friends & Supporters From: Gary L. Bauer COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY: 244 DAYS TO THE 2012 ELECTIONS Super Tuesday Lessons Ronald Reagan won the pivotal Ohio primary last night with 75% of the vote. Ronald Reagan? (You are probably now telling yourself that poor Bauer has completely lost it and gone off his rocker.) No, I am not insane. Reagan did win, but unfortunately his "victory" was divided between two candidates, and therein lies the challenge and the problem for the GOP. Governor Mitt Romney once again did well with high-income, college educated and suburban voters, who like his economic message. Senator Rick Santorum won evangelicals, Tea Party supporters, cultural conservatives, blue collar voters and those without college degrees in rural areas. Many Romney supporters are arguing that the only chance to beat Obama is if the message of the fall campaign is the economy, the economy, the economy. Those of us who support Santorum argue that if the GOP runs from values issues we will suffer the same fate we have every other time we've tried that approach. Remember the Dole and McCain campaigns? Both were disasters. Reagan won with a message that included conservative economic theory and a robust defense of conservative social values. No one has figured out a way for the GOP to prevail without an alliance of those two strains of conservatism. Those suggesting we jettison values issues could not be more wrong. Without the "Reagan Democrats" we lose. And the way we get Reagan Democrats to come to us is by highlighting the values radicalism of Obama/Pelosi/Reid. For example, Barack Obama won only 57% of the vote in Oklahoma's Democrat primary last night. He even lost in 15 counties. Four other candidates took 43%, among them anti-abortion activist Randall Terry, who took 18% -- in the Democrat primary! This morning I heard at least six different commentators suggest that Governor Romney needs to wrap up the nomination and then run to the middle as quickly as he can. That would be a disaster and he would play right into conservatives' fear that he wouldn't be reliable as president. Our eventual nominee must combine the full conservative message. That is the right message for America, and it will be the right message on Election Day. What Do You Think? There's been a lot of punditry and analysis about the results last night. The general consensus is that Romney, as one headline put it, "averted a disaster," Santorum did better than expected and Newt fell short. But I'm not interested in what the Beltway talking heads think. I'd really like to get your feedback, my friends. How do you feel at this stage of the GOP contest?
- It is time to unite behind Romney.
- Conservatives should unite behind Santorum, Gingrich or Paul.
- We should try to talk another candidate into the race.
Please let me hear from you. Click here to vote in our online poll. Obama Uses His Daughters Barack Obama stooped to a new low when he injected his daughters into the Rush Limbaugh/Sandra Fluke controversy. At his press conference yesterday, Obama said this:
"I thought about Malia and Sasha. And one of the things I want them ... to be able to do is speak their minds in a civil and thoughtful way, and I don't want them attacked or called horrible names when they're being good citizens. I wanted Sandra to know that her parents ought to be proud of her. ... "I don't know what's in Rush Limbaugh's heart, so I can't comment on the sincerity of his apology. All decent folks can agree that the remarks that were made don't have any place in public discourse."
Oh, really? This is the man whose entire political attack machine viciously mocked and smeared Sarah Palin. Some of his left-wing media allies even went so far as to mock her Down syndrome child. As we reported yesterday, Bill Maher, one of the biggest donors to Obama's super PAC, has referred to Palin using the most disgusting, vulgar terms. The left also tore into Michele Bachmann and portrayed her as stupid and fanatical. For all of Nancy Pelosi's talk about the Republicans' "war on women," it doesn't hold a candle to the vile rhetoric from the left toward conservative women who dare to stand up for traditional values. Did Obama think about his daughters when Bill Maher was attacking Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann? I don't recall any stories about Obama picking up the phone to encourage either one of them after Maher's outrageous rants. The idea that Obama has the moral high ground is ludicrous. And if he feels strongly that Bill Maher's comments "don't have any place in public discourse," then Obama should publicly denounce him and give back his million-dollar donation! You Did It! We were on pins and needles the last few days. But I am pleased to report that, after tallying the donations we received in the mail, we met our latest fundraising goal. I can't thank you enough for your generous support! I know from the emails I read every day that for many of you, your support is a real sacrifice. I am humbled by your trust and faith in our work. I wish I could say that it would be the last time I have to ask for your help this year, but you know what is at stake in the next 244 days. We cannot fail. If we want to put America back on the right track, get our fellow Americans back to work and restore respect for our values, we must defeat Barack Obama! With your continued prayers and support, that is exactly what we will do. Thank you, my friends.

Finally - The Tools You Need to Stop Agenda 21
It's Here! Tom DeWeese has created the "Stop Agenda 21" Action Kit
A Video Message from Tom DeWeese:
Click here to view this video
Activists have been pleading with me to help provide the tools they need to stand up to national and international planning groups, elected officials and the news media in their fight to stop Agenda 21 in their communities. I have heard you and have responded! The Action Kit includes: Two DVD sets, including two workshops; 3 manuals; 1 workbook; and a special power point presentation. Everything you need to know all the details on how to fight back against Agenda 21. Here's what you find in the Stop Agenda 21 Action Kit: · I've outlined the treaties, policy papers and international meetings that have set the agenda. · I've shown how those international policies go directly into local communities, disguised as innocent-sounding development projects or historic preservation - drastically changing our way of life. · I've revealed how those International plans are moving past Congress and into local communities. · I've detailed how the Supreme Court has helped them do it. · And I've exposed the private organizations that are able to take control of your community and enforce these policies, without a vote or any input from you. · How international policy is directing local communities to enforce cutbacks on water use by as much as 75%. · The Sierra Club's plan to force 500 families to live on one acre of land - and they call it "Smart Growth." · The real reason why the Supreme Court destroyed private property rights in the infamous "Kelo" decision. It says that any property may be taken by the community for the "common good." · The actual definition of a "Soviet" and how international organizations are at work right now in your community, enforcing policy to turn your town into a little soviet of non-elected boards, councils and regional governments answerable to no one.

There's more - much more. · Did you think Obama's health care policy is his brainchild? Of course not. Again, it has international roots. I will show you the direct connection and the true purpose behind the planned destruction of America's health care system. Trust me - the reports of health care rationing and death counseling are very real. I'll show you where these ideas came from. · Did you think it was Ronald Reagan who killed the Soviet Union? I'll give you the details on how Gorbachev himself did it - and I'll tell you why. · Did you think your children aren't learning because there isn't enough money and teachers in the classrooms? I'll show you that the dumbing down of American children is done on purpose and that the schools are operating perfectly - for what they have been "reformed" to do. And there's still more... · I've provided details on how the "consensus" on global warming has collapsed. · And to prove that global warming is the greatest hoax ever played on mankind - I've provided more evidence and quotes from scientists from around the world than you have ever seen in the news media · I've provided stories of some of the victims of these tyrannical policies and how they have been robbed of their property and livelihood -- simply because a government thug has too much power. Most important, to complete this massive project, I sought help from some of the leading experts on the issue of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development, including Henry Lamb, the man who first revealed the threat of Agenda 21 to the nation; along with Mike Coffman, one of the nation's leading experts on Smart Growth; and Michael Chapman, the most knowledgeable expert on how the public school curriculum is being used to train your children to be the perfect citizens of the global village; the late Dr. Madeleine Cosman, a pioneer in exposing the destruction of our nation's once great health care system and how Obamacare is directly related to Agenda 21; Clarice Ryan, one of the nation's leading experts on the threat of Conservation Easements; John Anthony, a rising new activist star in the fight to stop Agenda 21; Beverly Eakman, an expert on the psychology behind Consensus meetings; and Paul Driessen, Marc Morano and Jay Lehr, three of the nation's leading experts on the global warming hoax and the fallacies of "alternative energy." I relied on these experts along with several of the leading activists who are on the front lines fighting Agenda 21 from the state house to city council chambers. Of course there are lots of newsletters, blogs, and internet sites out there telling you about "insider" information that is supposed to reveal the "truth." Other "experts" are missing the core threat. It's not discussed in the media, newsletters or national conferences. Even many TEA Party rallies. But it is revealed in detail in the Stop Agenda 21 Action Kit. Only in my Action Kit will you learn: · How our language is being manipulated to control policy. · The threat we face is not a Republican or Democrat issue. · The ruling principle that will completely reorganize our society. · The three E's of the "Sustainable" collective. · The threat of the "precautionary principle," and how it will destroy our economy. · The diabolical plan behind Bill Clinton's "reinvention" of government and the disastrous affects on our nation today. · How Public/Private Partnerships are destroying free enterprise. · Little known details about ICLEI, the international organization that is taking over most American cities and running them without voter input. · The leader of that same organization actually said, "Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective." · How the politically-based radical environmental movement uses fear of environmental damage as camouflage while they work to transform the American systems of government, justice and economics. · How the United Nations intends to rule the entire world as its "global commons." · How the "death" of the Soviet Union actually freed its leaders to expand their power and influence over the world. · The dawn of "Common-ism" that transformed national sovereignty, natural resources, and private land into "common property" for the global commons. · How the public education system has been transformed to create global village idiots. · The four international commissions that are transforming the world towards global governance. · The full definition of an NGO and where these privately-funded groups get their power. · The most powerful environmental group in the world and why it's the most dangerous. · How UN policies become American law. · The Charter for Global Democracy and how its 12 principles are being fully implemented to create global governance. · The Smart Growth fraud.
· The lunacy of the Wildlands Project. · How "green" industry and "green" school houses are costing taxpayers millions in additional costs -- with no benefit. · I've shown how those international policies go directly into local communities, disguised as innocent-sounding development projects or historic preservation - drastically changing our way of life. · I've revealed how those International plans have moved past Congress and into local communities. · I've detailed how the Supreme Court has helped them do it. · And I've exposed the private organizations that are able to take control of your community and enforce these policies, without a vote or any input from you. All of these details are included in the special MANUAL of the Action Kt. But there is more - much more!
The Action Kit also includes: A set of DVDs with the following presentations - 1. Dan Byfield of American Stewards of Liberty teaching how to use an exciting new tool called "Coordination" to stop federal and state policies from invading your community. Actual sample legislation to protect property rights and repeal Sustainable Development legislation that has been introduced in state legislatures which you can present to your state legislator. 3. A side by side review of actual comprehensive development plans to show their direct ties to Agenda 21. Use them as a guideline to compare your own community's plan. 4. The Pattern is Clear
Critical discussion of Islam -- including facts; satirical, political or religious commentary; or acts deemed by Islam to be "blasphemy" or "desecration" -- spur radical Muslims to violence. This violence spurs Westerners to apology. But apology is always an act of dhimmitude, a submittion to Islamic definitions of crime or grievance that only under Islamic law require contrition.
Today, Muslim violence is more brazen with the murder of American troops in Afghanistan, and Western apologies are more exaggerated. The United States hasn't even quashed Afghan demands for a sharia trial of those who disposed of several Qurans last month ...
Jihad by Aggrievement; Submission by Apology
By Diana West
Six U.S. military men have been murdered by Afghan security forces seized by what may be labeled Quran-Burning Rage.
Quran-Burning Rage follows Pastor Jones Rage, which, after a Florida pastor burned a Quran in 2011, seized Afghan Muslims and inspired rioting. Some rioters overran a United Nations outpost and murdered seven U.N. personnel.
Pastor Jones Rage followed "Fitna" Rage, which seized Muslims worldwide even before the release of Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders' short 2008 film "Fitna." That film sparked rioting, arson, boycotts, death threats and, as a bonus, charges that led to the protracted trial in the Netherlands of Wilders for "insulting Muslims." (He was acquitted in 2011.)

Iran, Syria, Hezbollah Threaten Attacks on American, Israeli Targets [with VIDEO]
By Reza Kahlili
If Syria is attacked by outside forces as it cracks down on its own people, Iran, Syria and the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon will attack Israeli and American targets with missiles, sources within all three reveal.
According to Mashregh News, an Iranian media outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards, sources in Syria report that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad last Thursday issued a secret directive that should the country be attacked by America, its military will counterattack.
This directive includes an immediate response to fire a barrage of missiles from the three allies not only toward Israel but also at American assets in the region.

Obama's lies and denials about where he was born go on and on and on
Mar 07, 2012 05:13 am | Coach Collins
By George Spelvin, staff writer
Barack Hussein Obama, using eight different names, has failed to meet eligibility requirements for the office of U.S. President according to a 19 point challenge alleging he was born in Kenya to a Kenyan citizen and a teen age mother not old enough to convey U.S. citizenship.
Democrat Attorney Philip J. Berg who filed his challenge to the nomination petition with the Pennsylvania Commonwealth on February 23, doubts in Argument 13 that "Obama ever held Natural Born Citizenship (NBC) status!"
Centering on the NBC clause, Article II, Sect. 1, Clause 5, the eligibility challenge states that Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barack Hussein Soetoro is "not a Natural Born Citizen as defined by the U.S, Constitution."
Furthermore, Obama was "born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, (and) at the time of his birth his mother was only 18 years old and not old enough to confer U.S. NBC status to ... Continue Reading:Obama's lies and denials about where he was born go on and on and on

American Minute March 6 Mar 06, 2012 05:13 pm | Coach Collins By Bill Federer, staff writer 25-year-old Colonel Henry Knox unbelievably moved 59 cannons 300 miles from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston. On the night of March 4, 1776, with wagon wheels wrapped in straw to muffle the noise, the cannons were strategically put on Dorchester Heights overlooking Boston Harbor. The next morning, vulnerable British sailors were shocked. On MARCH 6, 1776, General Washington ordered: "Thursday...being set apart by...this Province as a day of fasting, prayer and humiliation, 'to implore the Lord and Giver of all victory to pardon our manifold sins and wickedness, and that it would please Him to bless the Continental army with His divine favor and protection,' all officers and soldiers are strictly enjoined to pay all due reverence on that day to the sacred duties of the Lord of hosts." Finally, on March 17, amidst a violent storm, British General Howe evacuated his ships and 3,000 men from Boston. General Washington described the British ... And the Superior Court itself has just dismissed plaintiff David Weldon's appeal of that ruling. The numerous questions surrounding Malihi's February 3rd decision and the clear errors of law and procedure upon which it was based have been discussed by countless members of the new media. And now Van Irion, head counsel for Liberty Legal Foundation (LLF) and the attorney who represented David Weldon in his lawsuit questioning Obama's eligibilty before Judge Malihi, relates what has happened since the decision. The story he tells of improper and illegal conduct on the part of the Superior Court arguably reveals a more ... While Obama parties to celebrate the end of the "Iraq War", when will he figure out we are not fighting two different wars, nor are we engaged in "overseas contingency operations" in response to "man-made disasters." We are fighting one global war against radical Islam, and it ain't over yet.

What we think the talking heads are talking about when they condemn racism, misogyny or some other form of bigotry is entirely detached from what they are actually talking about.
If you are reading this, the odds are that you define racism as an expression of racial bigotry. That is the formal definition, but it is as meaningful to the actual use of the terminology as reaching for a Latin dictionary or trying to make sense of the vocabulary of the Picts. That definition has long been as outdated as the steam engine. To the progressive left, and by that I mean the people who actually write the policies, set the agenda and control the national dialogue, racism is not about race, misogyny is not about gender and anti-semitism is not about ethnicity or religion. They are forms of reactionary behavior and thinking. Remember that definition because it's important. It is why asking questions like, "What about liberal misogyny?" is as useless as asking Nazis why their leadership didn't seem to include a lot of blonde supermen. The Nazi definition of Ubermensch was not based on physical or intellectual qualities, but on political ones. It was impossible to be a true member of the Master Race and not be a Nazi. It is equally impossible for a liberal to be a racist. The left describes bigotry not in terms of the act, but in terms of a reactionary mentality. To be a reactionary is to be beholden to a more primitive era like the 1950's or the 1850's and its backward attitudes. Even when a progressive engages in bigoted mentation, that is the reactionary attitudes that he picked up from his father or grandfather or some other member of the patriarchy coming into play. A warning sign that he needs to properly cleanse himself of those reactionary attitudes to be a proper progressive. Anything done in a progressive cause is inherently not reactionary. Racism and misogyny is completely acceptable when attacking reactionaries. It is even encouraged. How can that be possible? Simple. Why does the left view bigotry as wrong? Because it's a reactionary attitude that prevents the mobilization of all sectors of society in the struggle for universal social justice. Beneath all the word games, all the people of color sessions, the plays, the movies and the impassioned appeals for a better world-- this is what it all comes down to. Bigotry is wrong because it inhibits the ultimate goals of the left. You won't find this definition in modern sensitivity guidebooks, but it is the real one, the root of the thing and the one that matters. It is why the left opposes bigotry and campaigns against it, not for moral reasons, but for tactical ones. It is also why racist and sexist attacks against conservatives are completely acceptable. Women and minorities on the right have opted out of the global struggle for social justice. The rationale against bigotry does not cover them. They are fair game. If this sounds strange, surreal or irrational to you, pick up your copy of 1984 or Animal Farm. Orwell saw political language seeping through the left all along and its usages repelled him. Newspeak was the endgame, a language in which it was impossible to express dissenting ideas or to think clearly. It was a purely political language. But English and the languages of most First World nations are becoming Newspeakified. The division between English and Newspeak pops up when you encounter political words. Some of those words are new. Others are existing words retooled with new political definitions. Their goal is to teach you to think in the appropriate ways. No matter how specific they seem, their definitions are always vague and subject to constant revision, requiring teams of experts to "educate" you on their true meaning. This deceptive transition is often confusing. You think that you are speaking in the mother tongue, but you have actually slipped into Newspeak and it is not intended to allow you to express the ideas that you might wish to say. You might wish to use Newspeak to call for the authorities to be held accountable, but the authorities cannot be held accountable with dictionaries that they create. Most terms for bigotry have a different usage by the left and the people trained by them than they do for the common man or woman. They also have a different purpose.
Bigotry is used by the progressive left to detect and expose reactionary attitudes with a member of the persecuted group acting as the representative of her people culminating in a demonstration of how such reactionary attitudes inhibit social progress for her people. This show has been playing in American theaters for generations and will go on playing for generations until the walls cave in. It is a basic teaching tool of the left that plays on emotions and is utterly immune to truth or reason. The victim approaches, the lawyer passionately argues against the westernocracy, the patriarchy or the something or other cracy or archy, so long as it's not the progressivecracy, the oppressed applaud, the reactionaries are shamed, and everyone goes on to pull the lever for the left. Social progress has once again been achieved. But the entire Punch and Judy show, which as an adult you have probably already encountered in multiple novels and movies, has nothing to do bigotry. It is about power. The progressive left does not recognize any form of bigotry except within the context of their social agenda. A truly apolitical case of discrimination would interest them as much as the price of beets. An explosion of bigotry directed at the right from the left cannot be recognized as such by them because it is not compatible with the ideological framework which they use to define bigotry. The social agenda is collectivization, balkanization can be exploited to break down existing group identities as a temporary phase in the process, much as the Soviet Union briefly adopted the NEP to allow some capitalism in order to achieve the larger goals. Bigotry is only recognized to the extent that it inhibits that collectivization and the extension of progressive power. While conservatives still treat racism or sexism as standards of behavior, the progressives who control the narrative and politicize the language, define them purely in relation to their political agendas. That makes the pretense that there is some generally equally valid standard of things that should not be said about women or minorities so much bunk. There is no such standard. The left violates it all the time, the right is accused of violating it even when it hasn't violated it. Without a universal standard of behavior, manners and mores have no meaning. And they don't. The left has only one sin, inhibiting the progress of their program. The right too often tries to keep pace with the phases of enlightenment that they inflict on society only to realize that they mean nothing. The right is morally oriented, it identifies improper behaviors that represent universal standards and tries to abide by them. The left is politically oriented, the only offenses it recognizes are political ones and progressives thrive on flouting standards on behavior in a way that still fulfills their political goals. High ranking progressives may entirely deviate from the script and behave in the most disgraceful ways possible, so long as they remain high value assets to the cause. Members of two entirely different moral systems cannot be expected to agree on the definition of an improper act. The Muslim and the non-Muslim both consider murder wrong, but differ on how one defines murder. This is a habit that Mohammed had in common with Orwell's Napoleon the pig who rewrites the commandments to suit his own lust for power. The left and the right both consider hating people for the color of their skin to be wrong, they just differ on the definitions of hate and people. To understand the left, you have to speak its language. That language is Newspeak. It is not a language of values, but of ideas. It is fluid, flexible and above all else political. It is innovative, but basically dull. It is a language of obsession that inaccurately describes the unreal for the purposes of those who pull its strings. It is not a moral language. It is indeed a wholly immoral language. Its entire purpose is to blot out conscience and replace it with pervasive guilt and uncertainty that can only be exorcised through constant political activity and denunciations of reactionaries.
The left needs Rush Limbaugh for the same reason that Oceania needed Emmanuel Goldstein, as an object for their Two Minute Hates that exorcise the doubts that their ideology breeds in its own followers. By denouncing Limbaugh in an orgy of hate, rising to their feet, shaking their fists and spitting at the screen, the progressives feel a temporary sense of relief from the worry that they have allowed reactionary racist attitudes to creep into their minds, that they have eaten food that isn't locally grown, shopped at K-Mart or sympathized with Israel. A symbol of opposition soothes their insecurities better than volunteering at a soup kitchen, donating money to Africa or some other visible symbol of bleeding heart do-goodism can. It isn't the dehumanization of people of color or women that the left is obsessed with. It is the dehumanization of all people at their hands. Their only interest in exploiting racism or sexism is as a means of destabilizing whatever power structure exists and unquestioningly replacing it with their own cadres. They have no sympathy for individual victims of persecution, only the collective solidarity of all peoples under the red flag. They can only see people who are useful in getting them closer to it. They can only see that final shining future that can never come to pass and feel pity only for those who help them up the ladder to Utopia.

The Roots of the Christie-King Border War
Jonathan S. Tobin | @tobincommentary03.06.2012 - 6:15 PM
Why exactly did New Jersey Governor Chris Christie join the mob bashing New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly last week over the force's surveillance policies? Christie's shot across the Hudson prompted Rep. Peter King to fire back at the governor for "trying to score cheap political points" at Kelly's expense. That led the notoriously thin-skinned Christie to describe King's riposte as "ridiculous" and to pull rank as a former prosecutor. All this could be dismissed as just a meaningless exchange between two politicians who love to run their mouths and are intolerant of criticism. It could also be put down as merely the natural instinct of New Jersey politicians to take umbrage at any instance of New York encroachment onto Garden State territory.
However, those who have followed Christie's attempts to ingratiate himself with the Muslim community, sometimes at the expense of law enforcement imperatives, may recognize a familiar pattern in his willingness to bash Kelly's decision to order the NYPD to gather intelligence across the river in Jersey. In joining the gang tackle on Kelly, Christie and King found themselves lining up with two competing Muslim factions: Christie with extremist groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), who oppose all efforts to investigate homegrown Islamist terror and King with those Muslims like Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, who have taken the position that American Muslims have a responsibility to root out radicals.

Eliminating barriers to enterprise and innovation

By David C. John There were plenty of lessons to learn after the financial crisis of 2008. Unfortunately, neither Congress nor the Obama Administration was willing to take the time to learn them. Instead, they acted before they understood the causes of the crash or what to do to avoid similar bailouts in the future. The result was the Dodd-Frank financial regulation law-trash compacter legislation filled with heavy-handed, counterproductive provisions, many of which had only a loose connection to the problems raised by the financial crisis. But in the end, this hodgepodge bill failed to address the root causes of the financial crisis and will do little to prevent future bailouts. To make matters worse, legislators gave no thought to how the individual provisions would fit together, leaving a complex mess for regulators to sort out. >> Click Here to Read More

It is fairly obvious Obama and Congress rushed through H.R. 347 in order to curtail demonstrations that will undoubtedly occur during both Democrat and Republican conventions this summer. Also known as the "Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011," the bill makes it a felony to disrupt or protest at any place or event attended by any person with secret service protection.
"Current law makes it illegal to enter or remain in an area where certain government officials (more particularly, those with Secret Service protection) will be visiting temporarily if and only if the person knows it's illegal to enter the restricted area but does so anyway," Michigan Rep. Justin Amash wrote on his Facebook page. "[H.R. 347] expands current law to make it a crime to enter or remain in an area where an official is visiting even if the person does not know it's illegal to be in that area and has no reason to suspect it's illegal."
Amash, Paul Broun, a Georgia Republican, and Ron Paul were the lone dissenting voices opposed to this bill, which is being called the "First Amendment Rights Eradication Act" designed specifically to counter the Occupy movement and other political groups opposed to the bankster regime in control of the Congress and the presidency. Democrats have characterized opposition to the bill as "a whole lot of kerfuffle over nothing."
Gene Howington, a guest blogger on law professor Jonathan Turley's blog, contends that the government deliberately made the language of H.R. 347 vague and overly broad. Howington writes that "it seems to be a trend that vague or overly broad language could be fairly described as being purposefully adopted allowing 'wiggle room' for Federal authorities to potentially abuse civil and human rights under the color of authority."
While the recently enacted and also vaguely worded NDAA "poses a threat to your 4th, 5th and 6th Amendment rights, the newest attack of vague language is aimed at your 1st Amendment rights of Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Assembly and Freedom to Petition," Howington notes. "As currently worded, it might as well have been called the 'Federal We're Too Important To Be Annoyed By Your Protest Act of 2011 or (as described by Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI), one of the few Representatives to vote against the bill) the 'First Amendment Rights Eradication Act' because it effectively outlaws protests near people who are 'authorized' to be protected by the Secret Service."
In 1998, Bill Clinton signed Presidential Decision Directive 62 establishing the National Special Security Events, or NSSE, a directive making the Secret Service responsible for security at designated events, including presidential nominating conventions. Other events under NSEE include summits of world leaders, meetings of international organizations, and presidential inaugurations. In other words, with the passage of this bill, it will now be a felony to protest the G20 and globalist "trade" summits and other neoliberal confabs where international banksters and their minions plot our future behind closed doors.
Such a draconian restriction of the First Amendment is another step in an effort to outlaw all protest against the government, especially at events where the controllers discuss and finalize their plans to implement world government and a centralized global banking system. The global elite have repeatedly demonstrated their animosity toward the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Taking down the First Amendment - in addition to the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and most importantly the Second - under the bogus and contrived aegis of a manufactured war on terror amply reveals what they have a mind: a gulag panopticon where resistance is not only futile, but illegal, and where the slaves are disarmed and powerless to effectuate change.

Former Agent: New bill effectively outlaws protests anywhere secret service deems off limits
A disturbing trend has been playing out regarding free speech in America. Glenn talked at length last week on GBTV about all the ways free speech is under assault and today on radio he welcomed as guest former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino. The former agent is currently running for United States Senate in Maryland. He says the bill is meant to send a message to 'both sides' and that Occupiers and Tea Partiers alike should be worried about this one. Check out Glenn's interview with Dan Bongino on radio today.

The Day the Music Died

The Recreate '68 Committee has its origins in the Democratic National Convention protests in Chicago, 1968. They were violent and spurred on by leftist groups pushing a Progressive agenda. In 2008, the Recreate '68 group was co-founded and organized by Mark Cohen, Glenn Spagnuolo and numerous others. They took aim at the August 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. The timing was off and the movement did not have the chaotic and violent impact to the extent they had all hoped for. 2012 is another story however, and the ingredients have all come together for riots, violence and chaos through the efforts of the Occupy Wall Street movement. From Human Events: The 68' Chicago riots, which lasted five days, nearly destroyed the city of Chicago. Anti-war demonstrators clashed with 11,900 Chicago police, 7,500 Army troops, 7,500 Illinois National Guardsmen, and 1000 Secret Service Agents. Riots started by so-called "peace activists" included thug Black Panther founder Bobby Seale, David Dellinger, chairman of the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam, Rennie Davis and Tom Hayden, members of the Students for a Democratic Society, Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, leaders of the Youth International Party (those lovable YIPPIES), Lee Weiner research assistant at Northwestern University, eight civilians known as "The Chicago 8," and John Froines, a professor at the University at the University of Oregon. These are not fun-loving, peaceniks who just want peace, love and drugs for all - oh no... These are hardcore Marxist revolutionaries who are a tool of the State and are being used to bring America to her knees while stripping us of our Constitutional heritage. This is Occupy Chicago and seasoned leftists who are itching for a fight - 50,000 are being summoned to the protest. This is not only a confrontation with business, police and conservatives - the G8 and NATO will be there to bring even more gravitas to the event. They will battle police and anyone who gets in their way - this is their time and they are going for it. Think Altamont or Kent State, only worse. From Adbusters: Hey you redeemers, rebels and radicals out there, Against the backdrop of a global uprising that is simmering in dozens of countries and thousands of cities and towns, the G8 and NATO will hold a rare simultaneous summit in Chicago this May. The world's military and political elites, heads of state, 7,500 officials from 80 nations, and more than 2,500 journalists will be there. And so will we. On May 1, 50,000 people from all over the world will flock to Chicago, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and #OCCUPYCHICAGO for a month. With a bit of luck, we'll pull off the biggest multinational occupation of a summit meeting the world has ever seen. And this time around we're not going to put up with the kind of police repression that happened during the Democratic National Convention protests in Chicago, 1968 ... nor will we abide by any phony restrictions the City of Chicago may want to impose on our first amendment rights. We'll go there with our heads held high and assemble for a month-long people's summit ... we'll march and chant and sing and shout and exercise our right to tell our elected representatives what we want ... the constitution will be our guide. And when the G8 and NATO meet behind closed doors on May 19, we'll be ready with our demands: a Robin Hood Tax ... a ban on high frequency 'flash' trading ... a binding climate change accord ... a three strikes and you're out law for corporate criminals ... an all out initiative for a nuclear-free Middle East ... whatever we decide in our general assemblies and in our global internet brainstorm - we the people will set the agenda for the next few years and demand our leaders carry it out. And if they don't listen ... if they ignore us and put our demands on the back burner like they've done so many times before ... then, with Gandhian ferocity, we'll flashmob the streets, shut down stock exchanges, campuses, corporate headquarters and cities across the globe ... we'll make the price of doing business as usual too much to bear. The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife. Welcome to the American Spring... Despite the Marxist musings of In These Times, Rahm Emanuel will do everything he can to stir the revolution pot and egg on the protestors/terrorists in Chicago this May. It is a vital element for the 'change' that Obama promised in which the US is brought closer to his Marxist vision of the future, with you-know-who on the collective throne. The Godfather of Chicago is urgently seeking Iraq and Afghanistan combat veterans to work security positions for the G8. Why would you actively seek to use recent combat vets in policing roles, if you weren't hoping to recreate a Kent State style confrontation? Yep, everyone has been invited to this explosive dance - the Progressive's dance cards are full. There have been a number of individuals issuing a warning on this: Glenn Beck (whose interpretation of McLean's The Day the Music Died, gets it exactly right), Trevor Loudon, Cliff Kincaid, Aaron Klein, Gulag Bound, David Horowitz and this blog. When we tell you that Occupy Wall Street will get bigger and more violent and chaotic this spring and summer, you need to listen. It is all part of the bottom up, top down, inside out strategy of the Progressives and it is upon us. A violent confrontation in Chicago could have disastrous effects on the nation. Anything and everything from murders and rapes, to shutting down the financial sector, to some form of martial law. May 1st could become The Day the Music Died, as Satan laughs with delight and the top comes crushing down on America. Time to go retro - tune in to a long-forgotten station - let your soul hear the true music and prepare to set your feet upon the righteous path. The Day The Music Died - Don McLean "American Pie" explained by Glenn Beck: What does "The Day the music died" mean?
