Islamic Honor Killing In Texas: "Santa Killer" Was Muslim Who Hated Daughter Dating A Non-Muslim
The mainstream media has reported this as the "Santa killer." No mention that it was an Islamic honor killing until this Dallas Morning News story. Our daughters and granddaughters are going to be the ones who will suffer because of this obfuscation and excusal of barbarism.
This has been going on for years. When Amina and Sarah Said were brutally murdered by their father, also in Texas, on New Year's Day 2008 for the same reason -- having non-Muslim boyfriends -- I thought, this is it. This is going to break the dam wide open. America would not, could not possibly, ignore this horror caused by and sanctioned by Islamic beliefs, assumptions, and attitudes.
And yet America continues to ignore this horror. And more and more people are victimized every day.

Aziz Yazdanpanah, a Muslim, didn't like his daughter's non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior. "She couldn't date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn't date anyone outside of their race or religion."
Again and again we have seen honor killings in which fathers kill daughters who are dating non-Muslims or have supposedly besmirched the family honor by some sexual indiscretion. Lt. Todd Dearing says that motive isn't important -- which is generally only the case when Islam is involved.

In 1994, Ted Kennedy ran against Mitt Romney. Romney ran on his jobs record in the private sector. Sound familiar? Well, get ready for Barack Obama's ad campaign against Mitt Romney. Ted Kennedy already produced the ads and I've got them.
We're going to hear about Bain Capital taking federal bailout money. We'll hear the tales of woe from people Mitt Romney ordered laid off.
Yes, you can say we'll hear all the same stuff about Barack Obama, but every poll shows voters still do not connect Barack Obama to his policies. Policies are esoteric things. The people in these ads, however, connect their firings to Mitt Romney.
The ads are below the fold. If you don't see them here, you'll see them on the campaign trail once Romney is the nominee.
Oh, and in addition to campaign ads featuring every person every laid off on orders from Mitt Romney, you'll also get to see his house in Utah, his stone cottage, and his Belmont home.
The closest equivalent to Campaign 2012 with Barack Obama running against Mitt Romney won't be found in the recent era. You'll have to go all the way back to France, 1793, and the campaign of Robespierre against Marie Antoinette.
This isn't a flash back. This is yesterday. Mitt Romney is again declaring the foundation of Obamacare, the individual mandate, "conservative."
To be sure, it is conservative that one takes responsibility for their own healthcare. But the conservative solution is not to force Americans to buy a product. Forcing Americans, through penalty of law, into purchasing or refraining from purchasing a product is not and will never be conservative.
What's conservative? Well, if the person doesn't want insurance, don't let them get out of paying their medical bills through bankruptcy. But forcing them to buy insurance? Not only is it not conservative, we can see in Massachusetts that health care costs have continued to go up as has the cost of government.
So not only is Mitt Romney's plan not conservative, it does not even work.
I'm hearing several campaigns and external pollsters have a surge for Rick Santorum. With the National Review folks fawning over him again, it probably means a surge is real and any surge by Rick Santorum is another factor ensuring Mitt Romney wins the nomination. (To be fair, this doesn't look like real momentum)
Santorum has no money or organization outside of Iowa and cannot win the nomination, but Iowans love a guy who sucks up to them and makes sure they know he loves the babies.
As a pro-lifer myself, I have to throw up a bit in my mouth that Iowa conservatives are seriously considering Rick Santorum, which will only help Mitt Romney, a guy who even after his supposedly heartfelt conversion to life put some seriously pro-abortion judges on the Massachusetts bench hiding behind the "Well it was Massachusetts for Pete's sake" defense.
Although it's being deployed in several states like Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and others, there are still many who have never heard of the Colorado Model. What's worse, despite all the Left's bemoaning of the "vast right wing conspiracy," Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, or whatever enemy they can dream up, there is still nothing like the Colorado Model on the Right.

An Interview with Larry P. Arnn
LARRY P. ARNN, the twelfth president of Hillsdale College, received his B.A. from Arkansas State University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in government from the Claremont Graduate School. From 1977 to 1980, he also studied at the London School of Economics and at Worcester College, Oxford University, where he served as director of research for Martin Gilbert, the official biographer of Winston Churchill. From 1985 until his appointment as president of Hillsdale College in 2000, he was president of the Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Political Philosophy. In 1996, he was the founding chairman of the California Civil Rights Initiative, the voter-approved ballot initiative that prohibited racial preferences in state employment, education, and contracting. He is the author of Liberty and Learning: The Evolution of American Education and The Founders' Key: The Divine and Natural Connection Between the Declaration and the Constitution and What We Risk By Losing It (forthcoming February 2012).
The following is adapted from an interview by Peter Robinson of the Hoover Institution for his show "Uncommon Knowledge." The interview took place on October 3, 2011, at Hillsdale College, and it can be viewed in full at hoover.org/multimedia/uncommon-knowledge/96901.
Peter Robinson: Larry, I am quoting from you: "You can read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution in a few minutes. They are simple. They are beautiful. They can be understood and retained." Place the documents in their historical context. Why did they matter?
Larry P. Arnn: There are three incredible things to keep in mind about the Declaration. First, there had never been anything like it in history. It was believed widely that the only way to have political stability was to have some family appointed to rule. King George III went by the title "Majesty." He was a nice and humble man compared to other kings; but still, when his son wanted to marry a noble of lower station, he was told he mustn't do that, no matter what his heart said. That was the known world at the time of the American Founding.
Second, look at the end of the Declaration. Its signers were being hunted by British troops. General Gage had an order to find and detain them as traitors. And here they were putting their names on a revolutionary document and sending it to the King. Its last sentence reads: "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor." That is how people talk on a battlefield when they are ready to die for each other.
The third thing about the Declaration is even more extraordinary in light of the first two: It opens by speaking of universal principles. It does not portray the Founding era as unique-"When in the Course of human events" means any time-or portray the Founding generation as special or grand-"it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another" means any people. The Declaration is thus an act of obedience-an act of obedience to a law that persists beyond the English law and beyond any law that the Founders themselves might make. It is an act of obedience to the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God," and to certain self-evident principles-above all the principle "that all men are created equal" with "certain unalienable Rights."
"A gentleman told me recently that he doubted I would vote for the Angel Gabriel if found at the head of the Democratic Party, to which I responded that the Angel Gabriel would never be found in such company. Speaking quite dispassionately, and simply as a historian, the Democrats can be trusted invariably to walk in the darkness even when to walk in the light would be manifestly to their advantage."

Founded in 1798 by the scientists accompanying Napoleon on his invasion of Egypt and author of the monumental 20-volume Description de l'Égypte (1809-28), L'Institut d' Égypte was burned down on Dec. 17 by crowds rampaging in the vicinity of the National Assembly building.
Remarkably for a learned institution, its doors were open to the public to meander and imbibe, though few did. During my three-year residency in Cairo in the 1970s, it served as a place of refuge, when the city was too much with me, as well as a regular destination for my foreign visitors. I treasured this little-known gem for its library of 200,000 volumes focused on Egypt, its symbol as the capstone of Orientalist learning in Egypt, its evocation of a different and better era, and the quietude it offered in a city with few such oases.
And now the barbarians came and destroyed it with a Molotov Cocktail. The walls still stand but the building is gutted, its invaluable contents burnt.
Comments: (1) This attack brings to mind a host of prior acts of destruction of historical monuments in Egypt, including the medieval defacement of the Sphinx and the Cairo arson of 1952. Outside Egypt, assaults coming right to mind include the Muslim destruction of Hindu temples in India, the Turkish destruction of churches in northern Cyprus, the Palestinian sacking of the Tomb of Joseph, the Taliban destruction of the Bamiyan Buddha, the Iraqi pillaging of museums, libraries, and archives, the Saudi destruction of antiquities in Mecca, and the Malaysia destruction of an historic Hindu temple. This barbarism, in other words, fits into a larger pattern. What is it about Muslims and history? As this listing suggests, too many of them hate not only what is non-Islamic but even their own heritage

(2) The former minister of state for antiquities affairs, Zahi Hawass, campaigned for the return of the country's treasures. I vote against that. Better they be safe where they are than exposed to the fury of modern-day Egyptians, especially given that Egypt's mufti recently ruled against the private display of statues, a possible first step toward a state-sanctioned destruction of Egyptian antiquities. These articles have generated a number of responses, some of which adhered to the truth and were based on Islamic Law, and others which have not. MARIETTA, Georgia (WABC) -- A deadly police shooting in Georgia has a local connection.
Cops killed a woman accused of sending threatening packages to local lawmakers in New York.
Lawmakers get a lot of threats in the mail, but these threats seemed straight out of mobster movie: one congressman received a bloody severed pig's foot.
Homeland Security says these threats are a problem that's not going away.
The story ended in Marietta, Georgia. Police responded to an alarm, and when they knocked on an apartment door, the woman inside attacked them.
Police shot and killed her.
The woman was 53-year-old Jameela Barnette.
The post office said that she had sent threatening packages to New York State Senator Greg Ball, and Long Island Congressman and Homeland Security Committee Chair Peter King.
"After I held hearings on Islamic radicalization, I received a bloody pig's foot. It was actually sent to my Washington office and intercepted by the postal authorities in Baltimore. Then, they tracked it back to this woman in Marietta, Georgia," Rep. Peter King said.
Kings' Islamic radicalization hearings took a lot of heat last spring.
American Muslims, including the one shot in Georgia, said King was calling all Muslims radical despite the majority that love this country and obey the law.
King says that's not so.
"There is no Islamaphobia in this country, any more than there is anti-Christian or any other. There is so much exaggeration by radical Muslims in the media," King said.
The Georgia woman had sent New York State Senator Greg Ball a package containing a hate filled letter, a perfume vial and a toy monkey with the Star of David on it.
It forced State Police to close his office for a while.
Eyewitness News could not reach Ball for comment.
Congressman King says despite killing Osama bin Laden and other terror leaders, threats from that woman and others are becoming a growing problem.
"This is as dangerous now as it ever was, it's a different kind of enemy, and it's not a large centralized al Qaida. Its individual cells, its lone wolves, and its people who are being radicalized over the internet," King said.
Congressmen King says Homeland Security must do a better job with homegrown threats now that the U.S. has eliminated many of al Qaida's leaders.

The Most Dangerous Bill in Congress: SOPA
"We're from the government, and we're here to help you." When you hear these words, run for the hills and take your possessions with you. When the government steps into to fix a problem where there is no problem, you can bet that the new law will be used by some to do things that it was never intended to do.
SOPA (Stop Online Privacy Act), also known as H.R. 3261, could end free speech on the internet, all in the name of protecting us from the nebulously defined on-line piracy problem. Sounds like a noble idea until you realize that if passed, a new government enforcement agency will be established, funded by tax dollars, and filled with government bureaucrats who will have to justify their existence by investigating complaints from every malcontent trolling the internet with a copyright claim.
The originally proposed bill would allow the U.S. Department of Justice [headed by the friend of the Black Panthers, Eric 'Fast and Furious' Holder], as well as copyright holders, to seek court orders against websites accused of enabling or facilitating copyright infringement. Depending on who requests the court orders, the actions could include barring online advertising networks and payment facilitators such as PayPal from doing business with the allegedly infringing website, barring search engines from linking to such sites, and requiring Internet service providers to block access to such sites. The bill would make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted content a crime, with a maximum penalty of five years in prison for 10 pieces of music or movies within six months. The bill also gives immunity to Internet services that voluntarily take action against websites dedicated to infringement, while making liable for damages any copyright holder who knowingly misrepresents that a website is dedicated to infringement.

In the upcoming presidential election, two issues are more important than any others: repealing Obamacare and halting illegal immigration. If we fail at either one, the country will be changed permanently.
Taxes can be raised and lowered. Regulations can be removed (though they rarely are). Attorneys general and Cabinet members can be fired. Laws can be repealed. Even Supreme Court justices eventually die.
But capitulate on illegal immigration, and the entire country will have the electorate of California. There will be no turning back.

Founded in 1990, Teaching for Change (TFC) is an organization that seeks to turn K-12 schools into "centers of justice where students learn to read, write, and change the world." Moreover, it aims to transform America into a more "equitable, multicultural society" populated with "active global citizens."
Toward these ends, TFC's Early Childhood Equity Initiative (ECEI) sponsors professional seminars designed "to develop leaders in early childhood education," both in metro DC and nationwide. Proceeding from the premise that the United States is a country rife with racism and discrimination against nonwhite minorities, this Initiative "embrace[s] an anti-racism/anti-oppression approach" that promotes "curricul[a], environments, programs, policies and standards that are equitable, culturally-responsive and linguistically consistent with the diverse communities served by our profession." Rejecting the notion that foreign-born immigrants should subordinate their own cultural practices and mores to those of the U.S., ECEI "promote[s] the principle of pluralism" which "embrac[es] the uniqueness and value of all cultures" and "incorporat[es]" each participant's "native/home language into [the] curriculum." Our lesson for today comes from the Gospel according to Luke. No, no, not the manger, the shepherds, the wise men, any of that stuff, but the other birth:
"But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John."
That bit of the Christmas story doesn't get a lot of attention, but it's in there - Luke 1:13, part of what he'd have called the back story, if he'd been a Hollywood screenwriter rather than a physician. Of the four gospels, only two bother with the tale of Christ's birth, and only Luke begins with the tale of two pregnancies. Zacharias is surprised by his impending paternity - "for I am an old man and my wife well stricken in years."
Nonetheless, an aged, barren woman conceives and, in the sixth month of Elisabeth's pregnancy, the angel visits her cousin Mary and tells her that she, too, will conceive. If you read Luke, the virgin birth seems a logical extension of the earlier miracle - the pregnancy of an elderly lady. The physician-author had no difficulty accepting both. For Matthew, Jesus' birth is the miracle; Luke leaves you with the impression that all birth - all life - is to a degree miraculous and God-given.
We now live in Elisabeth's world - not just because technology has caught up with the deity and enabled women in their fifties and sixties to become mothers, but in a more basic sense. The problem with the advanced West is not that it's broke but that it's old and barren. Which explains why it's broke. Take Greece, which has now become the most convenient shorthand for sovereign insolvency - "America's heading for the same fate as Greece if we don't change course," etc. So Greece has a spending problem, a revenue problem, something along those lines, right? At a superficial level, yes. But the underlying issue is more primal: It has one of the lowest fertility rates on the planet. In Greece, 100 grandparents have 42 grandchildren - i.e., the family tree is upside down. In a social democratic state where workers in "hazardous" professions (such as, er, hairdressing) retire at 50, there aren't enough young people around to pay for your three-decade retirement. And there are unlikely ever to be again.

A former Ron Paul staffer named Eric Dondero, who worked closely with the Texas congressman and presidential candidate over the course of 15 years, has issued a statement in which he both defends his old boss from charges of racism and anti-Semitism and reveals damning new details about about the "sheer lunacy of [Paul's] foreign policy views".
First, Dondero claims that his old boss is such an extreme isolationist that "he strenuously does not believe the United States had any business getting involved in fighting Hitler in WWII. He expressed to me countless times, that 'saving the Jews,' was absolutely none of our business."
Second, Dondero writes that that Paul himself is a 9/11 conspiracy theorist:
He engaged in conspiracy theories including perhaps the attacks were coordinated with the CIA, and that the Bush administration might have known about the attacks ahead of time. He expressed no sympathies whatsoever for those who died on 9/11, and pretty much forbade us staffers from engaging in any sort of memorial expressions, or openly asserting pro-military statements in support of the Bush administration.
And lastly, Dondero reveals that Paul wanted to vote against the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 but lacked the courage of his convictions to do so:
There is no way the Republicans can nominate "Racist Ron" Paul to run against this countries first black president, not with those newsletters out there.

Ron Paul, a career politican with a well deserved reputation for anti semitism, is currently drawing fire for making loads of money from racist newsletters that bear his name. On top of the recent revelations that the newsletters contained some really nasty comments about blacks, come brand new revelations that this piece of garbage also attacked Jews and gays in print.
Let's start at the top. We all know the Democrats are going to play the "race card" against whoever the Republicans nominate. Count on it. Now imagine this scenario, heading our ticket is a candidate whose newsletter said this about Ronald Reagan(for giving Martin Luther a holiday), "We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey day". Or how about this little nugget of wisdom, "Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions." You might as well hand Nancy Pelosi her gavel back, because the stench from being identified with this lowlife is going to cause the Republicans to get decimated in every congressional race, as well as get Obama reelected.

For years, Ron Paul published a series of newsletters that dispensed political news and investment advice, but also routinely indulged in bigotry. Here's a selection of some especially inflammatory passages, with links to scanned images of the original documents in which they appeared.
Presidential candidate Ron Paul hauled in a nice chunk of change over the last three months (Boston Globe), due in part to his opposition to the liberation of Iraq and in part due to his loud fealty to the Constitution - and his supposed refusal to support any government spending or regulation that goes beyond its enumerated powers.
His supporters might be shocked to know that, in Paul's mind, "constitutional government" includes de facto price controls on prescription drugs. Three links from NationalReviewOnline provide the details on the House Democratic plan. and here, in Roll Call 23, is Ron Paul's "Yes" vote.
So, in Ron Paul's' mind, Saddam Hussein isn't nearly as dangerous as pharmaceutical companies - and more to the point, neither is intrusive government.
Some of Ron Paul's most avid (some say "rabid") supporters are not friends of America. The Marxist group "Code Pink" are frequent and vociferous supporters of the good congressman, as are "Iraq Veterans against the War," a Soros-funded group that is sometimes violently opposed to any American intervention overseas, no matter how justified it may be.
Code Pink, headed up by Medea Benjamin, shows up at any anti-American gathering that happens to have media (no pun intended) coverage scheduled. That organization is frequently joined by IVAW in its pursuit of America-bashing.
Now, Rep. Paul cannot be held totally responsible for who attends his rallies and who organizes his Iowa Straw Poll effort, but the public should not be kept in the dark about who it is that has become so close to the congressman.
I first met one of the most visible of the Code Pink/IVAW crowd about three years when Gathering of Eagles, a pro-troop organization I nominally chair, organized a counter-demonstration against a protest planned by CP/IVAW in front of the U.S. Army Recruiting Station on 14th Street in Washington, D.C. They were, of course, shouting anti-Iraq War slogans and doing their best to offer photo ops and interviews to D.C.'s credulous media. One young man in particular got my attention, as he seemed to be the "patrol leader" of the "military" element.
It turns out that this fellow, one Adam Kokesh, was indeed an Iraq veteran (a Marine) with a beef. It is impossible to know when he turned against the Iraq War, but his passion was not diminished when he was "busted" for bringing a pistol to the States when he rotated home.
Even then his reputation could have emerged relatively unscathed had he cooperated with the USMC officer tasked to investigate his case. Instead, he refused to cooperate and allegedly used the phrase "f*** you" when he addressed the officer. That was when things went sour.
Within a matter of weeks Kokesh was demoted from Sergeant to Lance Corporal and was stripped of an award he had received for his Iraq service. He was then given a "general discharge under honorable conditions," which was what his lawyer and the Marine legal beagles agreed to give him in lieu of a court-martial.
That sequence of events apparently convinced Kokesh to turn against "the establishment," as he obviously viewed it. From that point on, it seemed that he was determined to be his generation's answer to Lieutenant John Kerry, who, as we all remember, was at the forefront of the anti-Vietnam War crowd alongside Jane Fonda, William Ayers, and the like.
He has not quite reached that level of dissidence, however, but it's not for lack of trying. Fast-forward to 2010: it is announced that Mr. Adam Kokesh, a native of the Third Congressional District of New Mexico, has filed to run in the Republican primary for the congressional seat of Democrat Ben Ray. Kokesh was running as a Libertarian, which has some recognition in the Republican Party as a legitimate, if somewhat rogue, element.
And here's where the Kokesh case starts to get messy and, by so doing, contaminate the cause of both Ron Paul and the libertarian movement (not to be confused with the Libertarian Party).
I never saw such a change occur in a person as that which occurred in Adam Kokesh once he became an establishment candidate. He sported a haircut of respectable length and style, wore suits and ties and normal shoes, and generally conducted himself in a respectable manner.
Of course, that was a quid pro quo, as Paul had endorsed Kokesh's New Mexico candidacy. And he did it with his eyes wide open, as I personally told the congressman all about Kokesh, including the bit about the latter's demonstrating against the U.S. military during time of war and of his transgressions against the Uniform Code of Military Justice and his punishment.
