S&P Places U.S. on Negative CreditWatch, Could Lower Rating as Early as This Month
The Blaze | by Tiffany Gabbay | Posted on July 14, 2011 at 10:04pm
Perhaps the current economic and political climate lends one to believe that, where our once stellar AAA credit rating is concerned, anything is possible. And sadly, that seems to in fact be the case.
Standard & Poor's has placed its 'AAA' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term sovereign credit ratings on the U.S. on negative CreditWatch.
According to the rating agency, CreditWatch is used to mark the "substantial likelihood of S&P taking a ratings-action within the next 90 days, or in response to events presenting significant uncertainty to the creditworthiness of an issuer."

Breath Taking Taps/This is absolutely beautiful!!!
Take a look and listen!
To all military friends and others who appreciate the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces.
The conductor of the orchestra is Andre Rieu from Holland.
The young lady, her trumpet and her rendition of TAPS makes your hair stand on end. Many of you may never have heard taps played in its entirety, for all of the men & women that have died for you to have the freedom you have in America.
This is an opportunity you won't want to miss and you'll never forget.
Canada Free Press Amazingly beautiful! Melissa Venema, age 13, is the trumpet soloist. Here is Taps played in its entirety. The Original version of Taps was called Last Post, and was written by Daniel Butterfield in 1801. It was rather lengthy and formal, as you will hear in this clip, so in 1862 it was shortened to 24 notes and re-named Taps. Melissa Venema is playing it on a trumpet whereby the original was played on a bugle. Enjoy

Restoring Courage - Jerusalem 2011

"We have gone to the capitals of our states and to the capitals of our government. We have talked to all the power brokers. The only power broker, the only seat of government that can and will solve this problem with or without us is God. It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths, all around the world," Glenn said in his initial announcement.
"In August, whether I'm there with seven people or 10 people or there alone, I will stand. I ask you to join me. I also ask you to take this message globally, to take this to every corner of the earth. If you have family living overseas, this is not an America solution. This is a people of faith solution. This is a people all over the world solution. I ask you to help get this word out."

GLENNS TRAVEL BLOG
The first thing you notice in Warsaw is how new everything is - and also how many ugly gray buildings from the communist years still remain. This is not a country that has seen much prosperity or happiness, at least politically speaking.
After the Germans occupied and destroyed the country, their own people and almost all of the Jewish population, they were freed by Stalin's thugs. They then turned around and did the same thing just with a different attitude and uniform. People still feel the strings a soviet puppet.
Freedom is so rare in the history of this planet - most humans have never tasted it. And those who enjoy the most freedom now are oblivious to not only it's scarcity in human history but how fragile and fleeting it really is. Men are at their best when free and closest to the backside of real want. Today, the meaning of want has been carelessly reduced to 'free wifi' or the latest Apple gadget. The empty 'things' we want are now referred to as things we need.
I wanted to find people who have lived the difference. And I did.

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT
UN AGENDA 21
aka Local Agenda 21 & "sustainable development"
WILL SHOCK YOU!!!
Do you have a nagging feeling something is wrong, but you don't know exactly what? Who controls the US? Who writes our laws? Is it our elected officials or a higher organization like the UN? Do you know where our money comes from and how debt affects us?
Join us Saturday, July 23rd - 6pm PJ Ryan's 231 Bridge St., Phoenixville - private downstairs meeting room
There will be a discussion about UN Agenda 21 Sustainable Development, Property Rights & our Money. This meeting may help fill in some of the blanks that the media leaves out.
Agenda 21 is a plan that calls for international control & regulation of virtually every aspect of human activity that might impact the environment, which is essentially EVERYTHING YOU DO - eat, drink, cook, drive, play, work, and LIVE.
Maurice Strong, UN Secretary General - 1992 Rio de Janeiro United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) said "...Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat consumption and large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning, and suburban housing are NOT sustainable. So, what does he mean by NOT Sustainable? http://sovereignty.net/p/sd/strong.html
Translation: YOU will NO longer be allowed to have them.
J. Gary Lawrence, 1998 UK, UNEP Conference said ..."Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many... who would actively work to defeat any elected official... undertaking Local Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. So, we call our process something else such as "comprehensive planning," 'growth management' or 'smart growth.'" http://www.unedforum.org/publications/millennium/mill%20paper2.pdf
Translation: They will lie to you & deceive you so YOU won't know what they are really doing. This meeting is free & open to the public. Please come, listen and bring a friend.

Targeting US Oil & Gas producers for new taxes and the Cut, Cap and Balance pledge:
We'll start off by encouraging you to contact members of Congress on a couple of fiscal issues.
As preposterous as it may seem to all of us who worked for and voted to send a clear message, Congress continues to discuss including new taxes as part of the overall debt limit and deficit reduction debate. Surrounding these talks are proposals to eliminate tax deductions for U.S. energy companies (except the politically correct "green" energy producers and suppliers), some of our largest job producers. Specifically, Democrats have proposed to change "dual capacity rules" and also to eliminate Section 199 of the tax code. The dual capacity proposal would result in the double-taxing of domestic energy producers and hurt their ability to compete overseas. Repealing Section 199 effectively amounts to an unfair tax hike, raising the tax rate for domestic oil and gas companies while the rest of the manufacturing sector continues to benefit from the deduction.
Senator Toomey understands that increasing taxes in an uncertain economy is irresponsible and that the debate should instead focus on decreasing spending. Levying taxes on only these companies serves only to hamper job growth, chill capital investment and harm energy security and national security. Please contact Senator Toomey in his Washington, D.C. office at 202-224-4254 to thank him for his support.
The Cut, Cap and Balance pledge is an effort being championed by Let Freedom Ring and Senator Jim DeMint. The Kitchen Table Patriots along with nearly 200 other organizations have lent their name to support this effort and we are encouraging everyone to go to their website and sign the pledge. The following is from their site:
Despite our nation's staggering $14.4 trillion debt, there are many Members of the U.S. House and Senate who want to raise our nation's debt limit without making permanent reforms in our fiscal policies.
We believe that this is a fiscally irresponsible position that would place America on the Road to Ruin. At the same time, we believe that the current debate over raising the debt limit provides a historic opportunity to focus public attention, and then public policy, on a path to a balanced budget and paying down our debt.
We believe that the "Cut, Cap, Balance" plan for substantial spending cuts in FY 2012, a statutory spending cap, and Congressional passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution is the minimum necessary precondition to raising the debt limit. The ultimate goal is to get us back to a point where increases in the debt limit are no longer necessary.
If you agree, take the Cut, Cap, Balance Pledge! There are versions for elected officials, federal candidates and ordinary citizens.
Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey has already signed on along with Representatives Rep Mike Kelly (PA3) and Thomas Marino (PA10). Keep calling your senators and congressmen let them know you stand behind them and either thank them for signing on or encourage them to do so. Let them hear how you feel and make suggestions. We need to call them not only to tell them when we catch them doing something wrong, but also when we catch them doing something RIGHT. They need to hear from all of us to know they are not alone in this battle!! |

True the Vote : In the very near future, we will be hosting an event to present a project to help insure the integrity of our electoral process. This is a genuine non-partisan issue. Win or lose candidates for office should be able to rely on the officials who oversee the polls on Election Day so that every legitimate vote is counted. True the Vote is an initiative developed by citizens for citizens, to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process and to actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation. We are looking for people to come to learn about this effort and to get involved in making sure that we have valid elections. Let us know if you want to get involved early to help with this project. We will send out a follow-up newsletter when we have a firm date for the presentation.

Glenn Beck Restoring Courage Viewing Party : On Wednesday, August 24 we will be streaming the event at The Moose and we're inviting everyone to come down and share this together. Many of us went to the Restoring Honor event last year and we were deeply moved by the day's events. Being with others we know made this even more special. Although we are not going to travel to Israel, we are hoping that we can recreate that atmosphere here in Bucks County. We are still in the development stages of this event and would like to hear your suggestions on how to have it work out. And if you can help with the planning, set up and the break down, please let us know. These events are even more special when you are part of the effort to make it come off well for everyone who comes. Be sure to invite your friends and family to come as well. This would be a great opportunity to meet other patriots and meet some new ones.
Let us know you are coming on our Facebook event post . |

RedState Morning Briefing
For July 15, 2011
1. Dear House Republicans, This is Your "Time For Choosing"
In the election of 2010, voters sent you to Washington to do two things: (1) End Obamacare and (2) pull us back from the brink of financial ruin.
You have failed at the first task. Obamacare remains. You never even seriously attempted to restrain its funding or implementation. Heck, you haven't even saved the incandescent lightbulb.
Will you now fail at the second task too?
If you cave, fold, or compromise on the President's terms, you will have failed in both your missions. If you support Mitch McConnell's plan, you will have decisively failed.
Now is a time for choosing. Now is your time for choosing. As I pointed out to John Boehner yesterday, despite what the pundits in Washington are telling you, it is you and not Obama who hold most of the cards. Obama has a legacy to worry about. Should the United States lose its bond rating, it will be called the "Obama Depression". Congress does not get pinned with this stuff.
But there are a few points that you need to understand.
First, as the hours go on, the doom and gloom scenarios are going to get worse. By the end of July, Goldman Sachs, Ben Bernanke, and Timmy Geithner are going to tell you the world will end unless you raise the debt ceiling.
They did it with TARP too.
2. It Is As I Feared
We should be quick to praise and slow to anger. I know I frequently go to DEFCON1 quicker than many others, though they eventually get there. I try to be quick to praise too.
And so it was yesterday that I and others praised Mitch McConnell for signing on as a co-sponsor to Cut, Cap, and Balance.
In my praise, I wrote, " I can only hope that he will, now signed on, aggressively push CCB and not be a supporter in name only."
I write this because I remember in TARP and in the Obamacare fight and in several other fights, McConnell signed on to conservative proposals only to work behind the scenes to advance other agendas that undercut conservatives. TARP got passed and the Senate GOP never used the full force of Senate rules to block Obamacare. Those aren't the only two times.
And so as the sun rises today, I learn from multiple Hill sources and now media reports that after McConnell sent out notice that he was signing on to Cut, Cap, and Balance, he began making door to door visits throughout the Senate lining up support for the Pontius Pilate Pass the Buck Act of 2011 - his plan to allow Barack Obama to raise the debt limit by $2 trillion.
What's more, McConnell has enlisted the help of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to line up Democrat votes for the plan. Meanwhile, Speaker Boehner is saying the McConnell plan is a viable option.
3. The American People Are Fast Becoming More Furious
The ATF went statistic-shopping in support of a proposed rule to limit the freedoms of firearm owners and dealers. Operation Fast and Furious was an effort to create a law enforcement problem so that government could expand its enforcement operations without actual organic crimes to fight. This involved the government deliberately seeding areas near the US border with firearms that they intended to track after sales. These straw man deals went bad when the USG promptly failed to track their inventory of 1,700 firearms. Losing just one would get a 2nd LT tossed from the USMC.
The government weapons began turning up at murder scenes that resulted from gunplay between rival international narcotics gangs. Allegedly, at least two USBP agents and 150 Mexican Citizens have turned up dead after being drive-by body-pierced by Operation Fast and Furious firearms. In fairness, even some ATF agents have become angry that .50 caliber Barrett Rifles have been sold into Mexico and lost by USG employees and have gone to the media with accounts of it all.
4. Palin.
It's been almost three years since I, along with many others, was introduced to Governor Sarah Palin. In that time we have been saturated with coverage of her and just about everybody on the left and the right, has had the opportunity to get to know who she is and what they think of her.
At least that's what I thought.
5. The Amazon Tax fight isn't over in California
While Jerry Brown has signed the budget bill that imposed an Internet Sales Tax on California, an arguably unconstitutional attempt to tax out-of-state businesses conducting interstate commerce with Californians, the fight's not over. I've said again and again that Amazon doesn't play around. And sure enough, the very night Brown signed the bill, Amazon emailed me and every other Amazon Associate in California to terminate our contracts.
Amazon's not stopping there though. This company is admirable in its insistence that it will do the right thing and stand up for the shareholders. That trend continues as now Amazon has filed for a referendum on ABx1 28, the Amazon Tax portion of the budget. Referendum is of course one of the three classic Progressive acts of Democracy that the far left celebrates, held up along side Initiative and Recall, the latter of which we're currently seeing used with gusto in Wisconsin.
6. The EPA Must Be Stopped, and I'm Not Talking About Light Bulbs
There's been a lot of talk these days about light bulbs. The Hill is reporting on how it's shedding light on the "new Republican party," one that is so "out of touch with the mainstream" because it only listens to it's "extremist elements." The New York Times has declared victory for the green movement, while some in the blogosphere have taken to referring to the bulb issue as a "fatal conceit," referring to the White House's fulfillment of Hayek's description.
7. The Horserace
For the first time in a month, Michele Bachmann is on the decline, though slightly. It's a brewing situation in Iowa her competitors are using to get the best of her. There's more rough water on the horizon.
Of all things, people close to Sarah Palin are now saying they think she might get into the race. I'm still not sure, but given the chatter there's got to be something to it. Rick Perry, as well, may actually soon be getting in.
Along the way, Tim Pawlenty has found his footing again and, though he's going to have a tough time combatting recent polling trends, he's making a show of it in Iowa. Jon Huntsman is going after Mitt Romney, but Romney is holding his lead.
And then there is Ron Paul. Ron Paul is suddenly surprising a lot of people, including me.
We'll get into it all in this week's horse race on the road to the White House.

Susan's Paul Ryan Medicare Pamphlet - please print this and give it to your contacts
SAVING MEDICARE
Since 1964, our nation's senior citizens have relied on Medicare to ensure access to healthcare. Now the program is going broke -- and it is going broke fast.
It began spending its reserves in 2008 when payouts exceeded dollars collected for the program. [cite]
Predictions for exhaustion of the reserve vary, with 2024 identified by the Social Security Administration in the Trustees 2011 report. [cite]
The Democrat response is to reduce the amount Medicare reimburses physicians for their services. [cite]
This will result in fewer participating physicians and the physicians continuing in the program seeing fewer Medicare patients.
Patients will wait longer and have fewer choices in seeing a doctor.
If this makes access to care sufficiently untenable, or if Medicare does not get on viable financial footing, it will be administered through ObamaCare[cite].
This would include cost controls by a 15-member board of bureaucrats deciding wich treatments, drugs, and surgeries patients can receive.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), Chairman of the House Committee on the Budget, has a plan which saves Medicare with no disruption to today's seniors and reasonable changes for future retirees.
The Ryan Plan is widely misunderstood and misrepresented. The future of our seniors' healthcare is too important to be decided on misinformation. Here are the facts about Medicare and the Ryan Plan.
The Ryan Plan in a Nutshell
Those currently retired and those close to retirement (55 and over) will see no change from the existing Medicare system. Existing physician reimbursement flaws will be corrected to encourage physicians to continue participating in the system.[cite]
On retirement, those currently under 55 will be provided vouchers from the government to help pay for health insurance. Voucher amounts will be based in part on income, with wealthier individuals receiving less assistance. Risk pools [cite] will be created to ensure that insurance companies will provide coverage to seniors, despite their generally higher use of medical care.
The result is retirees will have a system that gives them options, similar to that which members of Congress use and which will include options similar to Medicare Advantage, the popular plan eliminated by Obamacare. [cite]
The Ryan Plan Incorporates These Important Points
It is important that we
Plan now for changes, to avoid chaos later
The medicare system is running out of money. Change is coming, one way or another.
Pretending we can continue as we are is not an option, it is a recipe for disaster. The longer we wait to make changes, the greater the disruption to current and future retires, the more abruptly the changes will have to be implemented, and the fewer options we will have.
By implementing the Ryan Plan now, we will
- maintain the existing system for current retirees and for individuals 55 and over
- provide a sustainable, quality system for future retirees.
It is important that we...
Preserve the existing system, unchanged, for current retirees and workers 55 and older
This bears repeating:
- Under the Ryan Plan, if you are retired, your Medicare coverage will not change.
- If you are over 55, Medicare as it exists today will be there for you when you retire.
- And the Ryan Plan provides for quality health insurance coverage upon retirement for those currently under 55.
It is important that we...
Maintain availability of insurance coverage for future retirees
Since individuals generally require more medical care as they age, it tends to be difficult for older individuals to find private health insurance that will cover them. That is one reason our existing Medicare system is considered so important for many. The Ryan Plan creates risk pools which encourage multiple insurance companies to offer health coverage to those of retirement age.
It is important that we...
Maintain affordability
Individuals have paid into the Medicare system with the promise that coverage will be there for them when they retire. Unfortunately, we are facing an economic crisis in this country and Medicare is a significant part of the problem. To save the system for everyone and to avert broader economic calamity, in the future wealthier Americans will have to bear a greater portion of their healthcare burden.
It is important that we...
Make it feasible for doctors to participate in Medicare
Currently in many areas of the country physicans are reimbursed for Medicare patients at a rate that does not cover their expenses. Recent changes put forth by the Democrats further reduce reimbursement. [cite] This is not sustainable for any business and as a result increasing numbers of physicians are discontinuing their participation in the Medcare program. Patients are finding that their physician is no longer a Medicare provider and when they look for another physician it is increasingly difficult for them to find a Medicare provider who is accepting new patients and can see them in a reasonable time. [cite]. The Ryan plan fixes the reimbursement problem, making it feasible for physicians to continue participating in Medicare.
It is important that we...
Keep medical decisions between patients and doctors, not remote government panels
The Ryan plan harnesses the free market and puts choice in the hands of the patient. Retirees will be able to pick the insurance plan that best meets their needs, applying government vouchers toward premium costs. Medical decisions would be made in consultation with their personal physician, based on the individual's situation and preferences.

Chairman Smith and Senator Vitter Introduce Bill to Stop Backdoor Amnesty
Washington, DC - House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) today introduced the Hinder the Administration's Legalization Temptation (HALT) Act (H.R. 2497), legislation to prevent the Obama administration from abusing its authority to grant massive administrative amnesty to illegal immigrants. Senator David Vitter (R-La.), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Border Security and Enforcement First Immigration Caucus, will introduce the companion in the Senate this week.
Chairman Smith: "Congress has defeated amnesty for illegal immigrants several times in recent years but this has not stopped President Obama from trying a backdoor amnesty. Over the course of the last year, the Obama administration has ignored the will of Congress and the American people by using executive branch authority to allow illegal immigrants to remain in the U.S.
"While this authority is justifiable when used responsibly, it's clear this Administration plans not to use but to abuse these powers. If the President gets his way, millions of illegal immigrants will be allowed to legally live and work in the U.S. without a vote of Congress. That is why I have introduced the HALT Act, which will prevent the Obama administration from granting a massive administrative amnesty to illegal immigrants. The Obama administration should not pick and choose which laws it will enforce. Congress must put a halt to this administrative amnesty."
Senator Vitter: "The Obama administration has taken steps to pass their amnesty agenda through executive order and completely bypass Congress. In the Senate we've already rejected some attempts at granting amnesty for illegal aliens by defeating the DREAM Act in last year's lame duck session. The administration has now taken their amnesty push to new levels by attempting to give DHS officials and other agencies the ability to grant amnesty, which is exactly why we're introducing the HALT Act. Awarding amnesty over the objections of Congress and the American people would be a slap in the face to taxpayers, and especially to legal immigrants."
Original cosponsors of the House bill include Reps. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.), John Campbell (R-Calif.), Mike Coffman (R-Colo.), John Duncan (R-Tenn.), Randy Forbes (R-Va.), Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), Elton Gallegly (R-Calif.),Walter Jones (R-N.C.), Kenny Marchant (R-Texas), Gary Miller (R-Calif.), Sue Myrick (R-N.C.), Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.), David Roe (R-Tenn.), Ed Royce (R-Calif.), Steve Womack (R-Ark.), and Bill Young (R-Fla.).
Background: Over the course of the last year, the Obama administration has sought to circumvent Congress and use executive branch authority to allow illegal immigrants to remain in the United States. Last month, Administration officials caved to pressure from their liberal base and announced changes to Secure Communities. This program keeps our neighborhoods safe by identifying illegal and criminal immigrants in police custody who have been arrested and fingerprinted. The changes made by the Administration could open the door to allow millions of illegal and criminal immigrants avoid current immigration laws.
Specifically, the Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, issued two memos to agency officials on how to exercise "prosecutorial discretion," such as granting deferred action, deciding whom to stop, question, arrest, or detain, and dismissing a removal proceeding. While this authority is justifiable when exercised responsibly, the Obama administration has made clear that it plans to use this authority recklessly.
This isn't the only time the Administration has sought administrative amnesty. Last year, a draft memo written by top political officials at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services suggested the agency take steps to legalize countless illegal immigrants by granting deferred action or parole. Both deferred action and parole are reasonable on a case-by-case basis but are not intended to be used to grant massive administrative amnesty.
Summary of the H.R. 2497: The HALT Act will prevent the Obama Administration from
Granting parole, except in narrow circumstances; Issuing deferred action, except in narrow circumstances; Issuing extended voluntary departure to removable aliens; Granting work authorization to aliens on a discretionary basis; Granting temporary protected status to any new groups of aliens' Waiving the three and ten year bars to admittance for aliens who have been illegally present in the U.S.; and Granting cancellation of removal to illegal immigrants.
The HALT Act will restore these powers to the next president whom the American people elect on January 22, 2013.

U.S. Embassy Releases Video Taking Tough Immigration Stance...On Jews!
July 13, 2011
Illegal immigration is a hot topic in this country. And even though there are many in the Obama administration who refuse to recognize the need for a tough stance on it, there are those who see a need to address it. Officials at one U.S. embassy abroad seem to be catching on and joining the latter crowd.
NRO's Mark Krikorian explains:
One of our embassies has released a well-produced video warning the locals not to try to work illegally in the United States. It includes testimonials from people who got burned by unscrupulous employers and by their own greed and stupidity. It also features an agent from the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security warning, in a friendly but unequivocal way, of the dire consequences facing those who try to game immigration and visa laws, including a lifetime bar from visiting the U.S.

Web software helped keep immigrant-tuition foes' petitions valid
By Michael Laris, Published: July 13
For two decades in Maryland, opponents of statewide measures as diverse as speed cameras and early voting have been mounting petition drives to repeal the laws. Those efforts have all failed.
Until now.
Last week, Del. Neil C. Parrott and others won a key victory in their campaign to repeal a new law allowing undocumented immigrants to pay in-state tuition rates at public colleges. Elections officials announced that the opponents had enough signatures to suspend the law and put it to a statewide vote next year.
Parrott's effort relied, in part, on something his predecessors didn't use: Internet software that ensured precision and allowed him to avoid the chance of signatures being rejected on legal technicalities.
Of course, Parrott (R-Washington) spent time at swim meets, carnivals and parades to help gather the tens of thousands of signatures that were needed. But about a third of the total number came from people who logged on to his Web site and clicked on a widget that made it easy for them to fill in their information correctly.
The system is simple. Thousands of voters, egged on by a media blitz on talk radio and Web sites and through targeted e-mail, found their way to mdpetitions.com. They typed their names, birth dates, Zip codes and e-mail addresses into a basic form, just as if they were buying a sweater online. The software then tapped into voter-registration data to fill out the petition sheet in the precise format the law requires. The voters then printed out the form, signed it and mailed it to Parrott.
The e-mail list generated by that process is now itself an organizing tool for other causes. Parrott won't say how many people signed up, but many voters agreed to be notified when future petition drives are launched.

Time to End Fannie and Freddie
Four years after home values in America plummeted, fears over America's housing market remain. In testimony before Congress yesterday, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke cited "the continuing depressed condition of the housing sector" as one of the factors behind America's sagging economy. In response to the poor market, the White House is reportedly considering a repeat of the historically bad decisions that contributed to the mortgage meltdown rather than pursuing a much saner course: eliminating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

China first-half fiscal surplus at $193 Billion
China doesn't need our money to fight AIDS
China posted a fiscal surplus of 1.25 trillion yuan ($193.3 billion) in the first half of the year as steady economic growth and rising prices lifted government revenues, the Ministry of Finance said on Thursday.
The surplus, equal to about 6.1 percent of China's gross domestic product from January to June, is well above Beijing's target for a full-year fiscal deficit of 2 percent of GDP.

Terrorist Neighbors: Declaring war on Mexico might be the answer
Jul 14, 2011 05:22 am | Coach Collins
By Ron Reale, staff writer
On 9/11/01, when terrorists killed almost 3,000 innocent Americans during an attack on our economic system, Americans were outraged. We went halfway around the world to exact vengeance, and spent the next 9-plus years hunting down the leader responsible.
Tough words were thrown around by politicians looking to be out front with their patriotism and desire to protect Americans, as only they know how.
These same politicians have ignored a much more dangerous enemy, one that has killed many more Americans than the Muslims ever did, and whose leaders are blatant and up front about their desire to destroy America. These leaders are even printing instructions for their terrorist accomplices, showing them how to break into America, and how to cause as much damage to the American economy as possible.
When are we going to get an honest politician, a true leader, one who will tell the truth of the danger ... Continue Reading:Terrorist Neighbors: Declaring war on Mexico might be the answer

Why we need Gaddafi to hold on and the "rebels" to lose in Libya
Jul 13, 2011 02:18 pm | Coach Collins
By Kevin "Coach" Collins
As third world countries go, Libya's $14,400 per capita (in US dollars) is quite high. It's actually higher than can be found in Argentina Mexico or Venezuela three second world countries. Egypt's per capita income is $5,400, less than half of Libya's.
These numbers can explain what is going on in Libya and why America should not be trying to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi.
Last winter when the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) realized it could finally force Mubarak out and take Egypt over it made its move. The MB incited crowds of dimwits to become violent and destabilize Mubarak's government. This forced Mubarak to flee and left a vacuum of power in Cairo. As soon as he was gone the Muslim Brotherhood applied for and got recognition as a legitimate political party, something they had been denied for years.
With this new respectability the MB has been given a ... Continue Reading:Why we need Gaddafi to hold on and the "rebels" to lose in Libya

"Don't Call My Bluff"
Yesterday's White House debt limit negotiations ended with what reporters described as an "agitated" Barack Obama lecturing House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and then storming out of the room. Cantor's offense? He reportedly interrupted the president. Oh, the horror!
According to Cantor, he was trying to ask the president a question about the House possibly holding a series of votes on various options to address the debt limit. At that point, Obama cut him off and said, "Eric, don't call my bluff. I'm going to the American people with this.'"
Today, Senator Harry Reid, no doubt prompted by Obama, is demanding that Rep. Cantor be banned from the meetings. I suggest they throw Biden out instead!
Obama says he is a tolerant man, but he is very intolerant when conservatives challenge him. Poor Joe the Plumber once questioned him and in short order Obama "hacks" went through Joe's financial records and marriage history.
Remember Obama's recent outburst when a reporter from Texas kept pressing him to answer his questions? How about this exchange with Bret Baier? Then there was his seething anger in the Oval Office when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dared to remind him of the realities of the Middle East.
Obama's frustration is not with just one or two overly aggressive reporters. Obama has evidently had enough of the entire White House press corps and is taking steps to limit its access. According to this Politico report, Obama doesn't like it when reporters shout questions at him, even though every other president could handle it.
Newsflash, Mr. Obama: The political arena is not your classroom. Reporters, congressional leaders and the American people are not your students; you are a public servant, not our professor. Judging from the state of the economy, you clearly don't have all the answers. And based on the results of the last election, perhaps you should try listening to House Republicans more often!
Then again, this arrogance should surprise no one. This is the same man who once remarked about his own political success:
"...this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal..."
So, if you are Obama and see yourself with god-like powers to stop the oceans from rising and to heal the earth, it must be very irritating to deal with mere mortal men like Cantor.
Reality Check
Day after day, the media accuse Republicans of being right-wing extremists who are so ideological that they won't even discuss tax hikes. But as Karl Rove reports in today's Wall Street Journal, Obama is ruling out cuts to all kinds of spending. According to Rove:
"Mr. Obama's 'untouchable' list includes his $1 trillion health-care reform, $128 billion in unspent stimulus funds, education and training outlays, his $53 billion high-speed rail proposal, spending on 'green' jobs and student loans, and virtually any structural changes to entitlements except further squeezing payments to doctors, hospitals and health-care professionals."
Your Reaction
We heard from many friends and readers of this daily report in response to the "Plan B" proposal of Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell. Most were vehemently opposed to the idea. I have my own reservations about the plan, but I understand what Senator McConnell is trying to do.
McConnell fears that if a financial crisis develops as a result of a default, Obama and the media will be able to convince independent voters that it wasn't Obama's policies that caused the crisis, but rather "Republican extremism."
Obama won independent voters in 2008. We won them in 2010. There is evidence that some of them are starting to swing back to Obama as this debate drags on. That is not surprising. In times of crisis, what do people do? They don't turn to the Speaker of the House or the Senate Minority Leader. They look to their president for leadership.
McConnell is not a RINO. His goal is the same as ours - to get Obama out. He has taken a lot of heat for candidly saying, "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president." This is a difference over the best strategy to do that.
Senator McConnell defended his plan on Laura Ingraham's show yesterday by making the argument that he refuses to take "co-ownership" of a bad economy. You can listen to his remarks here.
I continue to believe that every conservative must take a deep breath every morning and remind himself that the source of our trouble is not John Boehner or Mitch McConnell. The source of our trouble is the political left that is allied with Big Media. They are sometimes able to fool enough Americans that the left gains power.
There are millions of Americans who understand this, but there many who remain confused. How else do you account for voters who back Obama in one election and then support Tea Party conservatives in the next?
Sometimes doing what is right politically is also best for the country. I think Senator McConnell was right when he said that a real solution is unattainable so long as Obama is in the White House.
That is why we are committed to doing everything we can to make Barack Obama a one-term president, to win a majority in the United States Senate and to maintain control of the House of Representatives.

How To Solve Our Growth And Jobs Deficit
This column by ACRU Senior Fellow Ken Blackwell was published July 13, 2011 on The Huffington Post.
As President Barack Obama lectured us with foolish notions -- such as attempting to reduce America's $14.4 trillion deficit by focusing carefully poll-tested, repetitive threats -- it is clear that, as the debt ceiling issue reaches a stage of urgency, the positions staked out by Republicans and Democrats are on different planets.
Just as six presidential candidates, 12 U.S. senators, 26 House members and more than 100,000 citizens have signed onto a pledge requiring a debt-ceiling-increase limitation to be tied to serious budgetary cuts and a balanced budget constitutional amendment, it appears that the Republican leadership is working to undermine the proposal.
The MSM and bloggers are reporting that certain members of the Republican establishment are not willing to do the heavy lifting demanded by movement the conservative movement which is responsible for their reclaiming of the House majority. Article after article has been written, with gentle nudging by unnamed Republican operatives, that this is just another meaningless promise and Americans have so-called "pledge fatigue."

Holder Must Go Over Gun Scandal, but What Did Obama Know?
This column by ACRU Senior Legal Analyst Ken Klukowski was published July 12, 2011 on The Washington Examiner website.
Operation Fast and Furious is a growing scandal. Attorney General Eric Holder must go, but Congress should not stop investigating there, and ask if Democratic operatives knew anything.
Fast and Furious is the latest variation of the ATF's Operation Gunrunner (aka Gunwalker), allowing U.S. guns into Mexico. It's a disaster involving more than 2,000 guns, many now being used in crimes, and one used to kill a federal agent.
Despite Holder claiming to have only recently learned about Fast and Furious, BigGovernment.com found a 2009 speech wherein Holder bragged about Gunrunner.
In "The Bourne Identity," Jason Bourne is a secret assassin for Operation Treadstone. When Treadstone became a liability, the government terminated it, simultaneously launching Operation Black Briar. Same people, objectives and tactics. Same operation, different name.

Failing Liberty 101
This column by ACRU Policy Board Member and Professor of Economics Dr. Walter E. Williams was published July 13, 2011 on Townhall.com.
A recent Superman comic book has the hero saying, "I am renouncing my U.S. citizenship" because "truth, justice, and the American way -- it's not enough anymore." Though not addressing Superman's statement, Stanford University professor and Hoover Institution senior fellow William Damon explains how such a vision could emerge today but not yesteryear. The explanation is found in his article "American Amnesia," in Defining Ideas (7/1/2011), based upon his most recent book, Failing Liberty 101: How We Are Leaving Young Americans Unprepared for Citizenship in a Free Society.
The National Assessment of Educational Progress reports that only 1 in 4 high-school seniors scored at least "proficient" in knowledge of U.S. citizenship. Civics and history were American students' worst subjects. Professor Damon said that for the past 10 years, his Stanford University research team has interviewed broad cross sections of American youths about U.S. citizenship. Here are some typical responses: "We just had (American citizenship) the other day in history. I forget what it was." Another said, "Being American is not really special. ... I don't find being an American citizen very important." Another said, "I don't want to belong to any country. It just feels like you are obligated to this country. I don't like the whole thing of citizen. ... It's like, citizen, no citizen; it doesn't make sense to me. It's, like, to be a good citizen -- I don't know, I don't want to be a citizen. ... It's stupid to me."

"[W]hen all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another." --Thomas Jefferson
Editorial Exegesis

Obama and the jolly green giant debt
"Republicans seemed warily confident that they might get a [debt-ceiling] deal over the weekend on cutting future spending without raising taxes -- a deal that would likely lead to smaller future deficits, the possibility of badly needed tax reforms and the resumption of economic and jobs growth. No such luck. Not only did Obama not really put any specific major cuts on the table, he reportedly surprised negotiators by asking them to agree to a 'balanced approach' to deficit-cutting by including a job-killing $1.7 trillion in potential new tax hikes. ... As a new Heritage Foundation study shows, the government's tax take under Obama's current budget plans will 'increase rapidly' from its long-term average of about 18% of GDP to a ruinous 26% of GDP in coming decades. That's why he seemed desperate, saying we need to 'tear the Band-Aid' off and 'eat our peas' to get a deal done by Aug. 2, the phony deadline established by Democrats for fiscal Armageddon. ... During the press conference Monday in which he made his case for 'revenue increases' -- that is, tax hikes -- in deficit talks, Obama suggested why: He wants to spend even more in the future. He's not shy about airing his many ideas for this, among them what he calls 'investments' in Head Start and student loan programs, more government funding of medical research, and even an 'infrastructure bank.' Such programs aren't possible, Obama said, 'if we haven't gotten our fiscal house in order.' This almost defies belief. This is how we got into the problem in the first place. Too much government, too much spending, too many regulations, too many taxes. Is Obama really that out of touch with Americans? It seems so." --Investor's Business Daily
Essential Liberty
"The ignorance about our country is staggering. According to one survey, only 28% of students could identify the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. Only 26% of students knew that the first 10 amendments to the Constitution are called the Bill of Rights. Fewer than one-quarter of students knew that George Washington was the first president of the United States. ... Ignorance and possibly contempt for American values, civics and history might help explain how someone like Barack Obama could become president of the United States. At no other time in our history could a person with longtime associations with people who hate our country become president. ... The fact that Obama became president and brought openly Marxist people into his administration doesn't say so much about him as it says about the effects of decades of brainwashing of the American people by the education establishment, media and the intellectual elite." --economist Walter E. Williams
Upright
"It's a common refrain among those who lust to increase government's size and power: Every failed measure justifies more of the same. Poverty programs make it harder to escape poverty? We need more poverty programs! Racial preferences heighten racial division? We need more racial preferences! And a diversity manual for every janitor in the country! When ObamaCare ends up driving the costs of medicine up and the quality and availability down, you can bet the people who created that monstrosity will claim it failed only because it didn't go far enough. Let's generalize this into the First Rule of Liberalism: Government failure always justifies more government." --Wall Street Journal columnist James Taranto
"Speaking for himself on July 11, the president offered that he had 'hundreds of thousands of dollars that I don't need.' The president is of course welcome to donate as much of his extra money as he likes to the federal treasury. He knows Timothy Geithner personally and can probably get a guarantee that his check will be cashed without delay. And since the president is so ready to impute unpleasant motives (like greed) to those who oppose tax increases, perhaps we should impute some sort of moral failing to him for not having thus far contributed his spare change to the government." --columnist Mona Charen
"[T]he sheer incompetence and, in some cases, mendacity, of the current crop of statist politicians in both the legislative and executive branches seem likely to bring on an economic crisis that will actually force Americans to decide between a constitutional restoration and a full embrace of statism. ... This pantomime deficit-reduction process is evidence that those in charge have lost their mental grip on the true dimensions of the fiscal crisis. Once they have lost their mental grip, their economic grip -- and then their political grip -- also will soon slip away, followed, perhaps, by a restoration of liberty." --columnist Tony Blankley
"Welfare mostly subsidizes people in poverty, helping few escape from it. In their hearts, most people who are poor would like to be rich, or at least self-sustaining, but this president never talks about how they might achieve that goal. Instead, he criticizes those who made the right choices and now enjoy the fruits of their labor. Rather than use successful people as examples for the poor to follow, the president seeks to punish the rich with higher taxes and more regulations on their businesses." --columnist Cal Thomas

The Demo-gogues
Deal now, spend more later: "Let's get this [debt ceiling] problem off the table ... [and] with a solid fiscal situation, we will then be in a position to make the kind of investments that I think are going to be necessary to win the future." --Barack Obama
A great GOP campaign ad: "So, when you hear folks saying 'Well, the president shouldn't want massive job killing tax increases when the economy is this weak.' Nobody's looking to raise taxes right now. We're talking about potentially 2013 and the out years." --Barack Obama
Hypocrisy: "You go talk to your constituents and ask them, 'Are you willing to compromise your kids' safety so some corporate-jet owner can get a tax break?'" --Barack Obama (Obama and his jet-setting entourage are the biggest spenders in the world. How about we reverse the question?)
Constituents don't know anything: "Let me distinguish between professional politicians and the public at large. You know, the public is not paying close attention to the ins and outs of how a Treasury auction goes. They shouldn't. They're worrying about their family, they're worrying about their jobs. They're worrying about their neighborhood. They have got a lot of other things on their plate. We're paid to worry about it." --Barack Obama, scoffing at the fact that more than two-thirds of the electorate oppose increasing the debt ceiling
It's okay to mix religion and politics when Democrats do it: "What would Jesus do this weekend? Or Moses? Or Allah? Or anyone else? I don't want this [debt negotiations] book closed without the clergy having an opportunity to forcefully express themselves as well as I know they can do." --Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY)
Belly laugh of the week: "Now, without re-litigating the past, I'm absolutely convinced, and the vast majority of economists are convinced, that the steps we took in the Recovery Act saved millions of people their jobs or created a whole bunch of jobs. And part of the evidence of that is as you see what happens with the Recovery Act phasing out." --Barack Obama arguing that current job losses are proof that the stimulus worked
Throwing granny off a cliff: "I cannot guarantee that those [Social Security] checks go out on August 3rd if we haven't resolved this [debt debate issue]. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it. This is not just a matter of Social Security checks. These are veterans checks, these are folks on disability and their checks. There are about 70 million checks that go out." --Barack Obama

Dezinformatsia
And it's right-wingers employing extremist rhetoric: "Is the Republican Party willing to risk economic Armageddon in the name of religion, that is the religion of no taxes? Well, the GOP has become the Wahhabis of American government, willing to risk bringing down the whole country in the service of their anti-tax ideology. ... The Party's being driven by fanatics and they're determined to bounce America's savings bonds and have the United States begin to become like Greece." --MSNBC's Chris Matthews
The BIG Lie: "Every fresh report of 'progress' on the debt-ceiling talks produces new reasons to feel profoundly uneasy. The talks were misbegotten from the beginning, made necessary only by the irresponsible refusal of Republicans to pay the nation's bills unless they got everything their way on government spending and taxes. ... It is already clear that the Republicans have succeeded spectacularly in their insistence that the agreement be mostly about spending cuts rather than building back the money lost from the Bush tax cuts that was the principal cause of the deficit." --The New York Times
Blame game: "Wall Street wants to make it look like Fannie [Mae] and Freddie [Mac] were the drivers behind the mortgage collapse, when in fact Wall Street led the way and Fannie and Freddie basically caught up. I think, you know, Fannie and Freddie were the product of government policy, both parties, and President Bush championed the ownership society, and pushing low-cost mortgages were part of the Republican inroad into the Hispanic community. So this wreaks of politics, but you cannot say that Fannie and Freddie led the way with all those financial instruments." --Newsweek's Eleanor Clift

Village Idiots
Recovery is a long time coming: "I think it will take a long time still. This is a very tough economy. And I think for a lot of people, it's going to feel very hard, harder than the experience in a lifetime for some time to come. And that is because that is the tragic effects of a crisis this deep and this bad caused by a long period of lost opportunities to do things that made the country stronger." --Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner
Spread the wealth: "This is about bringing fiscal soundness so the world and Americans can know that we can solve our problems ourselves, and do it in a way that there is shared pain, and there is shared responsibility. And that is what the president is fighting for." --White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley
Race bait: "There has never been in my lifetime, since we got rid of the poll tax and all the voter Jim Crow burdens on voting, the determined effort to limit a franchise that we see today. ... Why should we disenfranchise people forever once they've paid their price? Because most of them in Florida were African Americans and Hispanics and would tend to vote for Democrats, that's why." --Bill Clinton on voter ID laws
Gun Grabbers: "For years, Americans and Mexicans have watched in horror as Mexican drug cartels have used assault rifles trafficked from America to kill thousands of people and export drugs to our country. Now, after some in Congress unsuccessfully tried to block this new reporting tool, the Department of Justice has finally announced they are implementing it to help investigators take down illegal gun traffickers. It's an encouraging sign that the administration is taking the bloodshed at the border seriously -- and taking action to address it." --Boston Mayor Thomas Menino of "Mayors Against Illegal Guns"

Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks? Tell That to Current Medicare Recipients
Conservatives, including The Heritage Foundation, support reforming Medicare to provide seniors with a defined contribution to apply to the health care plan of their choice. This approach would address the program's insolvency, and it is superior to other options-including the President's plan to allow an unelected board of officials to ratchet down spending-because it would allow consumer choice to catalyze patient-centered innovations and better value in the health care system.
Among the straw man arguments liberals have made against this "premium-support" model is the claim that it would be too confusing for seniors to act as cost-conscious, savvy consumers in a controlled marketplace. But choice is nothing new in Medicare.

JULY 14, 2011 Charities Become Collateral Damage in the Debate Over Marriage Children served by private adoption and foster care organizations are finding themselves among the victims of collateral damage of state decisions to legally recognize same-sex couples. From county courts to the U.S. Congress, the debate over protecting the conscience rights of religious institutions is heating up.
Before Illinois passed a civil union law this spring, proponents of the measure promised the legislation would have no adverse effect on the religious liberty of private adoption agencies. Yet, just a few months after passage of the law, Illinois is trying to terminate all contracts with Catholic Charities. This week, a Sangamon County judge granted a temporary injunction against the state's decision to end its relationship with the agencies, citing the significant harm such an abrupt termination would cause to children currently in Catholic Charities' care.
This week's legal tussle is just another episode in Illinois' contentious battle over religious freedom. The state is using the new civil union law, lacking an explicit protection for religious liberty, to claim that Catholic Charities is violating Illinois' sexual orientation non-discrimination policy. Catholic Charities abides by a long-standing policy of referring unmarried, cohabitating couples - regardless of sexual orientation - to secular organizations. An August trial will determine if the organization's policy violates the new civil union law and whether it will be forced to stop serving 2,000 of Illinois' most vulnerable children.
Similar challenges may soon haunt religious adoption agencies in New York. When the Empire State legalized same-sex marriage a few weeks ago, an ill-defined protection for religious liberty raised concerns that religious adoption agencies may be forced to violate their beliefs about marriage and family - or close their doors. As the law comes into effect next week, some have predicted an increase in adoption inquiries by same-sex couples. If true, clarification of religious liberty protections in the same-sex marriage law may come sooner rather than later.
Threats to the religious liberty of private adoption agencies are not confined to state legislatures. Representative Pete Stark (D-CA) has introduced legislation that would severely undermine the rights of conscience of foster care and adoption agencies across the country. The "Every Child Deserves a Family Act" would effectively strip both the funding and legitimization of private adoption providers who believe that children deserve the opportunity to experience the
unique benefits of being raised by a married mother and father.
Good reasons of broad civic importance exist for government to honor marriage and promote stable, mother-father households. Where government chooses to act contrary to this goal, policymakers should guarantee robust religious liberty - not impose burdens hostile to the conscience of institutions whose work advances civil society.

While union lawyers in Wisconsin are trying to sidestep Foundation-won court precedents curtailing union-boss power over individual workers, the United States Supreme Court announced last month it will hear another key case brought by Foundation staff attorneys. You see, back in 2005, California State Employee Association (CSEA) union bosses demanded a "special assessment" to raise money from every single state employee covered by a union monopoly bargaining contract for a union political fund. Union bosses claimed they needed these "extra" millions to defeat ballot initiatives that would limit their monopoly power over government workers and stranglehold on California taxpayers -- demonstrating once again how forced dues corrupt the political process. But, thanks to previous Right to Work Foundation victories at the Supreme Court, union bosses cannot compel independent workers to pay dues or fees that fund union politics. In 1986, the Court unanimously ruled in Chicago Teachers Union v. Hudson that government-sector union bosses must provide employees with an audited breakdown of the union's expenditures and an opportunity to challenge the union's calculations of any forced dues or fees. CSEA union bosses simply ignored the law with regard to the "special assessment" and denied workers any chance to opt out. Foundation staff attorneys filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of eight California government workers, including two former union members. A federal district court ruled in 2007 against CSEA union bosses, requiring that they provide workers their rights under Hudson and refund any monies spent (plus interest) on union-boss politics to nonmembers who exercise their right to refrain from subsidizing the union's political fund. A Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals panel overturned that decision, effectively encouraging union bosses to seize forced dues for politics from unwilling workers. Foundation attorneys petitioned the Supreme Court to review the Ninth Circuit's ruling in March, and the Court announced in late June it will hear the case later this year. Allowing the Ninth Circuit's ruling to stand would further undermine state employees' First Amendment rights. A victory at the Supreme Court would provide additional protections to every government employee across the entire country. The stakes are high! Our strategic litigation program provides free legal aid to workers victimized by compulsory unionism and it depends on the voluntary support of concerned citizens like you. As our attorneys make our 15th trip to the highest court in the land to defend individual workers against the abuses of forced unionism, let me once again say a heart-felt thank you for making this work possible. Sincerely, Mark Mix P.S. The Foundation relies completely on voluntary contributions from its supporters to provide free legal aid. On Thursday's Program
Glenn's TRAVEL BLOG - Auschwitz: Everyone knows that Auschwitz is not a pleasant place - but as Glenn found out, there is nothing that could ever prepare you for the evil upon evil that lies in the place. Take a look at the stunning pictures and horrifying story in Glenn's latest travel blog HERE.
Jesus was a slave to Allah?
Glenn toured Old City Jerusalem today and as he walked the Via Dolorosa - the path Jesus took while carrying the cross - he came across something quite amazing. One of the markers is the place where Jesus fell a second time, but someone in Glenn's group looked up and noticed a large banner hanging very close by. It's a verse about Jesus and Allah that most Christians probably haven't heard before. And it's definitely not offensive or anything. Look at the picture and get Glenn's reaction HERE.
Not your ordinary shekel: Check out the picture of an amazing piece of history Glenn got to hold today - a 2000 year old shekel, exactly the same kind Judas would have received for selling his soul and betraying Jesus - LOOK.

Ellison getting heat over anti-women/Bachmann rhetoric
Congressman Keith Ellison is in hot water after saying that conservatives don't like successful women - and would rather them be in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant. He singled out Michele Bachmann and is now starting to get some heat for his sexist comments. Glenn has the audio and reaction on radio today.
ICE cracking down on illegal Israeli immigrants?
Finally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials are cracking down on illegal immigration. Only one problem - they are cracking down on Israeli immigrants. Has that been a problem before? Really? What about the tens of millions of illegals coming in from Mexico? No, America is going after the 7 illegal Israelis in America. More HERE.
Obama upset he has money he doesn't need
Glenn says there is only 2 options - either Barack Obama is the 'dumbest capitalist' ever, OR he wants to create a different system. Obama today grabbed his toys and walked out of the debt ceiling talks, and some are mocking this move. But is it wise to think Obama is just a dummy? Glenn has more and an interesting vocal pattern he's discovered with Obama -- listen to the segment HERE.
