Patrick Murphy - Attorney General ? ? ?
He can not be allowed to be our next attorney general. The chief law enforcement officer of Pennsylvania cannot be an individual with so little respect for our individual Liberties and the Constitutions of both the United States and Pennsylvania.

Patriots,
I wanted to let you guys know AFPF (Americans for Prosperity Foundation) will be hosting an Energy Townhall on Gas Prices on Monday July 18th. Our CEO Tim Phillips will be speaking, along with Sam Rohrer and Gary R'nel from the Big Talker 1210. We're focusing on WHY gas is so high, how it is KILLING businesses and working families, we'll focus on regulations, mandates and a lack of energy policy is adding to our financial pain.
Basically, you can have a signs/pamphlets for your group at the event (not sure we can actually hang things on the wall because it is a historic building, but you can bring them incase) and I will happily put your group name in the email we send out too. I thought it was a good way to get your name out and even network a bit. No pressure - totally up to you. And don't worry! I promise I'll bring AFP/AFPF to other counties in the SE and not just ones that are in driving distance to my home! LOL!
Also, it's at the David Library of the Revolution in Washington Crossing 1201 River RD. Washington Crossing, PA at 7pm which any real Patriot would absolutely fall in love with in 10 seconds. So, I think it's worth the ride just for that (oh, and I'll feed you...ok - enticement enough)!!!!
That said, let me know if you are interested! Also, because seating is limited, let me know if you want to come and bring people...I will reserve your seats (it is an rsvp event because we can only have 120 people). I am not sure our rsvp website is up yet...so just email me if you are coming and how many.

"We have gone to the capitals of our states and to the capitals of our government. We have talked to all the power brokers. The only power broker, the only seat of government that can and will solve this problem with or without us is God. It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths, all around the world," Glenn said in his initial announcement.
"In August, whether I'm there with seven people or 10 people or there alone, I will stand. I ask you to join me. I also ask you to take this message globally, to take this to every corner of the earth. If you have family living overseas, this is not an America solution. This is a people of faith solution. This is a people all over the world solution. I ask you to help get this word out."

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT
UN AGENDA 21
aka Local Agenda 21 & "sustainable development"
WILL SHOCK YOU!!!
Do you have a nagging feeling something is wrong, but you don't know exactly what? Who controls the US? Who writes our laws? Is it our elected officials or a higher organization like the UN? Do you know where our money comes from and how debt affects us?
Join us Saturday, July 23rd - 6pm PJ Ryan's 231 Bridge St., Phoenixville - private downstairs meeting room
There will be a discussion about UN Agenda 21 Sustainable Development, Property Rights & our Money. This meeting may help fill in some of the blanks that the media leaves out.
Agenda 21 is a plan that calls for international control & regulation of virtually every aspect of human activity that might impact the environment, which is essentially EVERYTHING YOU DO - eat, drink, cook, drive, play, work, and LIVE.
Maurice Strong, UN Secretary General - 1992 Rio de Janeiro United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) said "...Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat consumption and large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning, and suburban housing are NOT sustainable. So, what does he mean by NOT Sustainable? http://sovereignty.net/p/sd/strong.html
Translation: YOU will NO longer be allowed to have them.
J. Gary Lawrence, 1998 UK, UNEP Conference said ..."Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many... who would actively work to defeat any elected official... undertaking Local Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. So, we call our process something else such as "comprehensive planning," 'growth management' or 'smart growth.'" http://www.unedforum.org/publications/millennium/mill%20paper2.pdf
Translation: They will lie to you & deceive you so YOU won't know what they are really doing. This meeting is free & open to the public. Please come, listen and bring a friend.

'We Are Celebrating a Revolution': Listen to Limbaugh's Rousing July 4 Speech to Joplin, MO Residents
The Blaze | by Jonathon M. Seidl | Posted on July 5, 2011 at 1:13pm
"Do you know what we're celebrating today?" Rush Limbaugh asked the electric crowd. "We are celebrating a revolution. We are celebrating the most unique revolution in the history of humanity."
That's how Rush began his rousing speech to residents of the tornado-ravaged town of Joplin, MO yesterday. He continued to talk about how America is not a country "chosen" by God but rather "blessed" by God. And, as the blog Reboot Congress describes, he also tackled American exceptionalism:

About Phyllis Schlafly
Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972, when she started her national volunteer organization now called Eagle Forum.
In a ten-year battle, Mrs. Schlafly led the pro-family movement to victory over the principal legislative goal of the radical feminists, called the Equal Rights Amendment. An articulate and successful opponent of the radical feminist movement, she appears in debate on college campuses more frequently than any other conservative. She was named one of the 100 most important women of the 20th century by the Ladies' Home Journal.
Mrs. Schlafly is a lawyer and served as a member of the Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, 1985-1991, appointed by President Reagan. She has testified before more than 50 Congressional and State Legislative committees on constitutional, national defense, and family issues.

Irving Berlin's "God Bless America"
Here Is a Real Star. In case you don't know it, this is the person that is referred to as "The Fat Lady" in the trite verbalization of "It's not over till the fat lady sings".
Kate Smith was born and grew up in Columbia, Missouri . In early 1940, Kate Smith, a fiercely patriotic American, and the biggest star on radio, was deeply worried about her country.
She asked Irving Berlin if he could give her a song that would re-ignite the spirit of American patriotism and faith. He said he had a song that he had written in 1917, but never used it.
He said she could have it. She sat at the piano & played it and realized how good it was. She called Mr. Berlin and told him that she couldn't take this from him for nothing.
So, they agreed that any money that would be made off the song would be donated to the Boy Scouts of America . Thanks to Kate Smith and Irving Berlin, the Scouts have received millions of dollars in royalties. This clip is from the movie "You're in the Army Now". You will see a familiar face (near the very end) in this one that we are all very proud of.
Frank Sinatra said that when Kate Smith, whom he considered the greatest singer of his age, first sang this song on the radio, a million guys got 'dust' in their eyes and had to wipe the tears the 'dust' caused. If you can watch and listen without 'dust' getting in your eyes, you have no soul. Sit back and enjoy a Real Star.

RedState Morning Briefing
For July 6, 2011
1. I Think the Casey Anthony Verdict is a Good Thing
I have prided myself on not talking about this trial. But I think it is a wonderful verdict.
I don't know whether the woman killed her daughter or not. I have not kept up. But the media certainly thinks she did. And a lot of spectators think she did.
Here's the thing though - our justice system runs largely in the background of American conscience and as long as it does not come off the wheels, the public pays it little attention. Then something like this happens and it is a good reminder that neither judges nor juries nor government prosecutors are perfect and flawless. We live in a world where when the court says something is blue, we are all expected to bow to the judge and proclaim the something blue. When the court says something is constitutional, we are expected to do the same.
In the years between Plessy vs. Ferguson and Brown vs. Board of Education, nothing substantive affecting those decisions were placed in the constitution. And yet, the Court in Brown had to admit that the Court in Plessy was wrong. What had been constitutional was no longer constitutional.
Courts and people make mistakes. The greatest danger our society faces is the one we've already curled up in the fetal position and refused to make eye contact with - the oligarchy of the Judiciary.
The Casey Anthony trial is a state court case in Florida. But it was watched nationally by millions of people. I'll refrain from commenting on those people. But this afternoon, millions of people decided 12 jurors in Florida got it wrong and many of them think the government screwed up the case along the way.
It may be bad for the victim, but this reminder that courts should not and were never intended to be sacrosanct chambers of perfection is a very good thing.
2. The Casey Anthony Verdict is Not an Endorsement of Our Criminal Justice System
When the Casey Anthony verdict was announced I expected celebration from her defense team. I was more taken aback by the celebratory tone taken by pundits like Geraldo Rivera and Judge Andrew Napolitano. Their position is the same one that many liberals, anti-death penalty activists and libertarians are promoting now: this proves the system works.
But it doesn't.
3. Bobby Jindal's steadily-advancing re-election.
55 has two major meanings, in fact:
- First off, it's 'merely' Governor Bobby Jindal's approval rating in Louisiana last year - and unchanged, six months before the election*.
- Second, it's the number of signatures on the latest recall petition against Jindal - a petition that expires next week.
If you look at the above Politico article from December, you might suspect that the Politico author might just be the slightest bit disappointed in the second bullet point... although it's highly unlikely that the author's name would have been on the petition, even if she did live in Louisiana. Which is kind of the point.
4. The Greek Debt Swap: Is it a Default, or isn't it?
While you were watching imported Chinese fireworks yesterday, the Europeans were shooting off some home-grown ones.
The euro has been trading down for most of the last 24 hours, as S&P and Fitch announced that they would consider the French-led rollover plan for Greek debt a "selective" default.
What's really going on is that a negotiation is taking place over what should be the credit rating of Greece as an issuer, and of its particular debt issues. (Wouldn't it be nice if you could negotiate with ratings agencies over your credit rating, next time you have to borrow money?)
Greece has to "roll over" its existing debt (meaning, reissue it as it matures) without getting slaughtered on the interest rate or even failing to find lenders at all. And of course, they're running a budget deficit that's in the high single digits (ours is even higher, at about 11%), so they need to keep issuing brand new debt on top of the rolls.
5. Teamsters' Push For Shorter Hours May Leave Drivers Very Short On Pay
It is axiomatic-a given, if you will-that unions do not like workers to work overtime. Sure, they'll do it, but if unions had their druthers, the work week would be limited to 40 hours-in some cases unions prefer 35 hours. The reasoning is simple, the fewer hours worked, the more employees an employer must employ and, in a workplace where unions can require dues, the union makes more money.
6. Corporate Welfare Gets New Life in the House
Ronald Reagan once said that, "The closest thing to eternity is a government program." Case in point: The Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank, which has made most every conservative list of programs to eliminate over the last few decades.
The House Financial Services Committee-controlled by Republicans-recently passed legislation (H.R. 2072) to reauthorize the Ex-Im Bank, which is nothing more than corporate welfare to corporations that export. It was passed without a recorded vote so we don't know who would have opposed the legislation, but the voice vote does tell us that a sufficient number of conservatives did not mobilize against the legislation in committee. In short, the Ex-Im Bank subsidizes lending (direct loans, loan guarantees, export credit insurance etc.) for American corporations that export and foreign corporations that purchase U.S. exports. H.R. 2072, authored by Rep. Gary Miller (R-CA), would extend the program for four years and increase the Bank's exposure cap by 60 percent from $100 billion to $160 billion.

Susan's Paul Ryan Medicare Pamphlet - please print this and give it to your contacts
SAVING MEDICARE
Since 1964, our nation's senior citizens have relied on Medicare to ensure access to healthcare. Now the program is going broke -- and it is going broke fast.
It began spending its reserves in 2008 when payouts exceeded dollars collected for the program. [cite]
Predictions for exhaustion of the reserve vary, with 2024 identified by the Social Security Administration in the Trustees 2011 report. [cite]
The Democrat response is to reduce the amount Medicare reimburses physicians for their services. [cite]
This will result in fewer participating physicians and the physicians continuing in the program seeing fewer Medicare patients.
Patients will wait longer and have fewer choices in seeing a doctor.
If this makes access to care sufficiently untenable, or if Medicare does not get on viable financial footing, it will be administered through ObamaCare[cite].
This would include cost controls by a 15-member board of bureaucrats deciding wich treatments, drugs, and surgeries patients can receive.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), Chairman of the House Committee on the Budget, has a plan which saves Medicare with no disruption to today's seniors and reasonable changes for future retirees.
The Ryan Plan is widely misunderstood and misrepresented. The future of our seniors' healthcare is too important to be decided on misinformation. Here are the facts about Medicare and the Ryan Plan.
The Ryan Plan in a Nutshell
Those currently retired and those close to retirement (55 and over) will see no change from the existing Medicare system. Existing physician reimbursement flaws will be corrected to encourage physicians to continue participating in the system.[cite]
On retirement, those currently under 55 will be provided vouchers from the government to help pay for health insurance. Voucher amounts will be based in part on income, with wealthier individuals receiving less assistance. Risk pools [cite] will be created to ensure that insurance companies will provide coverage to seniors, despite their generally higher use of medical care.
The result is retirees will have a system that gives them options, similar to that which members of Congress use and which will include options similar to Medicare Advantage, the popular plan eliminated by Obamacare. [cite]
The Ryan Plan Incorporates These
Important Points
It is important that we
Plan now for changes, to avoid chaos later
The medicare system is running out of money. Change is coming, one way or another.
Pretending we can continue as we are is not an option, it is a recipe for disaster. The longer we wait to make changes, the greater the disruption to current and future retires, the more abruptly the changes will have to be implemented, and the fewer options we will have.
By implementing the Ryan Plan now, we will maintain the existing system for current retirees and for individuals 55 and over provide a sustainable, quality system for future retirees.
It is important that we...
Preserve the existing system, unchanged, for current retirees and workers 55 and older
This bears repeating:
- Under the Ryan Plan, if you are retired, your Medicare coverage will not change.
- If you are over 55, Medicare as it exists today will be there for you when you retire.
- And the Ryan Plan provides for quality health insurance coverage upon retirement for those currently under 55.
It is important that we...
Maintain availability of insurance coverage for future retirees
Since individuals generally require more medical care as they age, it tends to be difficult for older individuals to find private health insurance that will cover them. That is one reason our existing Medicare system is considered so important for many. The Ryan Plan creates risk pools which encourage multiple insurance companies to offer health coverage to those of retirement age.
It is important that we...
Maintain affordability
Individuals have paid into the Medicare system with the promise that coverage will be there for them when they retire. Unfortunately, we are facing an economic crisis in this country and Medicare is a significant part of the problem. To save the system for everyone and to avert broader economic calamity, in the future wealthier Americans will have to bear a greater portion of their healthcare burden.
It is important that we...
Make it feasible for doctors to participate in Medicare
Currently in many areas of the country physicans are reimbursed for Medicare patients at a rate that does not cover their expenses. Recent changes put forth by the Democrats further reduce reimbursement. [cite] This is not sustainable for any business and as a result increasing numbers of physicians are discontinuing their participation in the Medcare program. Patients are finding that their physician is no longer a Medicare provider and when they look for another physician it is increasingly difficult for them to find a Medicare provider who is accepting new patients and can see them in a reasonable time. [cite]. The Ryan plan fixes the reimbursement problem, making it feasible for physicians to continue participating in Medicare.
It is important that we...
Keep medical decisions between patients and doctors, not remote government panels
The Ryan plan harnesses the free market and puts choice in the hands of the patient. Retirees will be able to pick the insurance plan that best meets their needs, applying government vouchers toward premium costs. Medical decisions would be made in consultation with their personal physician, based on the individual's situation and preferences.

Obama's ICE amnesty puts us in physical danger as he tells the Middle Class to "go to hell"
Jul 05, 2011 06:13 am | Coach Collins
By Kevin "Coach" Collins
Obama's latest backdoor ICE amnesty will bring death to some innocent Americans; bank on that. By ordering ICE agents to virtually stop deporting illegal aliens Obama is importing fraudulent voters with serious diseases. He has deliberately placed us all in danger and said, "The American Middle Class can go to hell."
Over the years Democrat presidents have betrayed America to various degrees. A feckless John Kennedy double crossed CIA efforts to overthrow Castro; Carter gave away the Panama Canal and Clinton sold the Chinese secret missile technology. Now Barack Obama may have topped these dubious "achievements" by stepping up his war on the Middle Class and threatening our very lives in his lust for power.
Not content to tax us into numbing poverty and hopelessness, Obama is throwing our borders open to bring in fraudulent new Democrat voters without regard for the fact they are bringing deadly diseases with ... Eric Holder Putting CIA Officers at Risk
Monday, 04 Jul 2011
By Ronald Kessler
After reopening Justice Department investigations into use of CIA enhanced interrogation, Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. admitted that he had not read the memos of his own department's lawyers explaining why no criminal laws had been violated. Now, John Dunham, the assistant U.S. attorney in Connecticut assigned by Holder to re-investigate the cases, has concluded that the lawyers who closed the case were correct, and no criminal charges are warranted. The re-investigation subjected former CIA officers to the chilling prospect of going to jail. As seven former CIA directors who served under Republicans and Democrats have said publicly, the probe sent a message to CIA officers that if they take risks in defense of their country, they may suffer consequences.

Pete Hoekstra: Cutting CIA Interrogation Makes Us Vulnerable
By Ronald Kessler | Wednesday, 15 Jun 2011 President Barack Obama's restrictions on terrorist interrogations have brought them to a halt and made the country more vulnerable to attack, former Rep. Pete Hoekstra, who was chairman of the House Permanent Committee on Intelligence, tells Newsmax.
Obama's insistence on the use of the U.S. Army Field Manual to govern how interrogations are conducted means valuable intelligence is being lost, says Hoekstra, who now is a senior adviser to the law firm Dickstein Shapiro. Interrogation rules imposed by the Army Field Manual are even more restrictive than those followed by police and FBI agents when interrogating American citizens who are criminal suspects.

The Last Refuge of Liberty
When Madame Roland, the moderate French Republican, was a prisoner in the hands of the radicals, she wrote; "Oh my friends. Heaven grant that you may reach the United States-- that last refuge of liberty-- in safety!" Two-hundred years later, her "last refuge of liberty" is under siege by the same power hungry fanatics who turned the French Revolution into a reign of terror. The modern Western republics were born out of military or political revolutions against a hereditary nobility. These revolutions led to republics, but did not allow the revolutionaries to replace them with a program of state controlled equality for very long. The most notorious example of such state control in France fell after a bloody reign of terror. The revolutionaries then moved on to the second phase of their program, targeting the democratization of wealth through free enterprise that had made a revolution against a hereditary nobility possible.

America 'gives way' to Islamic law
Chad Groening - OneNewsNow - 7/4/2011
A terrorism expert and critic of Islam says several recent disputes over dress codes illustrate how Islamic supremacists want to force the West into accommodating their religion's clothing standards.
Weightlifting's governing body recently agreed to modify its uniform rules to accommodate a Muslim woman, who argued that her religion requires that she cover her arms, legs and head. But that violates international rules governing weightlifting attire. Even so, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) successfully pressured the International Weightlifting Federation to change the rules and allow the woman to wear a one-piece "unitard" under her uniform.
In Quebec, The Canadian Press recently reported that a 15-year-old Montreal teen was told she could no longer referee soccer matches unless she removed her head covering, known as a hijab. So the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Canada has promised to apply pressure to convince the soccer association to change its dress code.

To follow Pepe's articles on the Great Arab Revolt, please click here.
Way beyond the impenetrable fog of war, the ongoing tragedy in Libya is morphing into a war of acronyms that graphically depicts the tortuous "birth pangs" of a possibly new world order.
On one side there's NATO (the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) and AL (the Arab League; on the other side, the African Union (AU) and the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). Alternatively, this may be seen as the Atlanticist West and its counter-revolutionary Arab allies, against Africa and the emerging global economic powers.
Lies, lies and more lies Much rumbling has emanated from the US Congress on Libya - centered on technicalities around the War Powers Act. Essentially, US lawmakers are so far refusing to authorize what walks like a war and talks like a war (and, according to the White House, isn't a war). There will be no more...

The criticism has some validity, but it misses an important point: the administration's approach has logic and coherence in the service of strategic considerations that extend far beyond Libya.
Since his campaign in 2007 and 2008, Barack Obama has declared that he wants to transform America's role in world affairs. And now,in the third year of his term, we can see how he is bringing about that transformation. The United States under Barack Obama is less assertive, less dominant, less power-minded, less focused on the American people's particular interests, and less concerned about...

By Ted Belman. A couple of years ago, the great Ezra Levant, a Canadian Jewish lawyer, who was the editor of the Western Standard that published the Danish Cartoons, had it up to here with Irwin Cotler. He put his feelings down in a special blog entry. Here it is. Thank G-d, the Liberal's lost power shortly thereafter to Stephen Harper's Conservatives. This spring Jews voted for the Conservatives in big numbers along with an increasing number of Canadians and Harrper won a majority government. Harper has a great record of standing by Israel even when he headed only a minority government. Irwin Cotler, the Jewish Uncle Tom By Ezra Levant on December 30, 2009 Uncle Tom's Cabin, by Harriet Beecher Stowe, is one of my favourite books. It's by far the most powerful political call to action I've ever read - clever, touching, at times laugh-out-loud funny and heart-wrenchingly sad. It was also staggeringly popular in the 1850s: 300,000 copies were... Read the whole entry ť

EUROPEAN COALITION FOR ISRAEL PRESS RELEASE
Italian leaders unite to support Israel at historical meeting in the Senate Building in Rome
Rome, July 1st, 2011 - Political leaders from the Italian Senate, together with representatives from civil society and faith communities, gathered in the Italian Senate Building on Thursday to express their support for Israel as current threats develop. These include a new Gaza flotilla, a unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state in September and other forms of delegitimization of the Jewish State.
Former president of the Italian Senate, Marcello Pera, expressed the Italian sentiment well when he stated that "our Western democracies will not prevail unless we re-embrace our Judeo-Christian heritage." He said that "our support for Israel should not be based on guilt, but rather on pride in our common roots and values." - "Defending Israel simply means defending our values and our way of life," he...

The Brotherhood demands "mutual respect". That's why you don't talk to terrorists. Ted Belman
by Elad Benari, INN
The radical Islamic group Muslim Brotherhood is ready to speak with the United States but is conditioning talks on America's support for Israel.
On Saturday, a spokesman for the group said it was prepared to talk with the U.S. He was responding to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's remarks late last week. Clinton had said the Obama administration wants to open a dialog with the group.
"We believe, given the changing political landscape in Egypt, that it is in the interests of the United States to engage with all parties that are peaceful and committed to nonviolence, that intend to compete for the parliament and the presidency," she told reporters in Budapest, Hungary, adding: "We welcome, therefore, dialogue with those Muslim Brotherhood members who wish to talk with us."
Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Mahmoud Ghozlan reportedly...

It is worthy of note that Israel plans to export gas to Europe through Greece.
See also, Flotilla diplomacy: Giving some credit where it's due
This was all preceded by weeks, even months, of intensive diplomatic activity ranging from work done on the ground in Athens by Israel's envoy there, Aryeh Mekel, to conversations last week between Netanyahu and his Greek counterpart - a man Netanyahu frequently characterizes publicly as "my friend" - George Papandreou.
And the diplomatic success wasn't limited to Greece. The diplomatic accomplishments vis-ŕ-vis this flotilla include prodding UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to come out against the flotilla, getting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to voice strong disapproval, having countries such as Britain, France and the Netherlands issue unequivocal travel advisories against taking part, making it difficult for the vessels to get insurance and ensuring that the Turks kept the Mavi Marmara from setting sail again...

Obama Administration Embraces the Muslim Brotherhood
Meanwhile, our petition demanding reinstatement of Captain Fields passes 33,000 signers. Have you signed yet?
Two seemingly unrelated actions are in fact very related: The Obama administrating embracing the Muslim Brotherhood (see Frank Gaffney's column below) and the demotion and suspension of Tulsa police Captain Paul Fields.
In both instances, the Muslim Brotherhood is at the heart of the issue. The Islamic center in Tulsa that held the "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" is tied to Muslim Brotherhood front groups.
In both instances, government officials have made decisions to embrace the Muslim Brotherhood. The Obama Administration decision is more obvious, but when the Tulsa police chief suspended Captain Fields the net effect was to send a loud and clear message of appeasement to the Muslim Brotherhood's front organizations.
It's bad enough that Captain Fields was ordered to attend an Islamic proselytizing event. What makes it all the more damning is that the Islamic Center is actively tied to the Muslim Brotherhood.
We are fewer than 7,000 signers from our goal of 40,000 for the Captain Fields petition. If you have not yet done so, please sign the petition today and forward it to everyone you know. With your help we can reach our goal this week!
Soon we will announce the next action item for our campaign on behalf of Captain Fields.

The Tipping Point: Embracing the Muslim Brotherhood
Center for Security Policy | Jul 02, 2011 By Frank Gaffney, Jr.
The Obama administration chose the eve of the holiday marking our Nation's birth to acknowledge publicly behavior in which it has long been stealthily engaged to the United States' extreme detriment: Its officials now admit that they are embracing the Muslim Brotherhood (MB or Ikhwan in Arabic). That would be the same international Islamist organization that has the destruction of the United States, Israel and all other parts of the Free World as its explicit objective. Read more:

TSA: A Portrait in Islamization
By Rabbi Aryeh Spero
On June 18th in an airport in Florida, Transportation Security Administration agents required a 95-year-old woman with leukemia to remove her adult diaper if she wanted to pass their inspection and travel. The TSA says they would have been satisfied with merely feeling around the garment, but it was wet. Whatever version, this constitutes yet another debasing treatment of an absolutely non-threatening American citizen for the purpose of protecting Muslim honor. So as to be sensitive and not profile young Islamic men -- the demographic group most likely to be terrorists -- our policy is ending up dishonoring and humiliating American citizens, be they grammas or little girls, who in no way pose a threat.

The Tea Party Must Defeat the One-Party Ruling Class in 2012 By Joe Miller, FloydReports.com

If you're like me, you're terribly concerned about the direction of our nation. Whether it's impending national bankruptcy, eroding personal liberties, or the incessant attacks against the traditional family, the bedrock of civilization, it seems everything is falling apart.
So what do we do? We throw everything aside and immerse our efforts and finances into democratic change. We identify elected leaders that are co-conspirators in our national destruction and target them for defeat. We work day and night, shoulder-to-shoulder with other grassroots activists to upend the establishment with constitutional conservatives.
Sometimes, these Tea Party insurgencies.... |

Tea Party News Tuesday, July 5th
Tea Partiers split over debt strategy | Tea Party activists are split between opposing any new increase to the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling and tying an increase to spending cuts, caps and a balanced budget amendment. On one side is the Tea Party Patriots group, which is urging its supporters to sign a "no debt increase" pledge. On the other side are Tea Party-related groups with significant GOP establishment backing such as FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity. Tea Party Express has joined this side. These groups have joined a coalition calling for "Cut, Cap and Balance" to be the condition for a raising of the debt ceiling. This approach, developed by the Republican Study Committee, calls for "substantial cuts in spending that will reduce the deficit next year and thereafter," "enforceable spending caps that will put federal spending on a path to a balanced budget," and congressional passage of a balanced budget amendment. Romney leads in fundraising, but Ron Paul is the big surprise. | Mr. Romney's campaign is expected to report a second-quarter haul of between $15 million and $20 million. That is still more than three times as much as his nearest competitors. Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr raked in about $4.1 million, and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty amassed about $4.2 million, according to the Associated Press. But the biggest surprise may be Texas Rep. Ron Paul, a tea party favorite who surprised political analysts in 2008 with strong primary showings and even stronger fundraising tallies. In the second quarter, Mr. Paul pulled in nearly $4.5 million. Mr. Paul attributed his success to the fact that Republican voters realize that much of what he preached in 2008 - such as the need to dramatically reduce government spending or risk a debt crisis - has turned out to be right. Herman Cain raised about $2.5 million, according to his campaign. He said he had to "prime the pump" from his personal bank account. The campaigns of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania had not released second-quarter numbers as of Monday afternoon. Rand Paul Plans Debt-Ceiling Filibuster | "We've not had one minute of debate about the debt ceiling in any committee. With no budget or appropriations bill in two years. I am part of the freshmen group in the Senate that's saying, 'No more.'" His stand is to filibuster so that debt ceiling talks will take place on the floor of the Senate. A group of conservative senators plan to present their own proposal to raise the debt limit, hand-in-hand with a balanced budget amendment. Paul isn't the first to make such a move. Last week, fellow Republican, Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson blocked all unanimous consent calls, the equivalent of halting any and all Senate business until debt ceiling debate took place on the floor. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada stopped him with a procedural move after about two hours. [Newsmax, July 4] Click here for the complete source story

Obama's Record Fundraising Comes Under Legal Scrutiny
Friday, 01 Jul 2011
By David A. Patten
President Barack Obama's staggering second-quarter fundraising total - which some say could reach as high as $75 million - is expected to smash records and turn heads. But it also is drawing scrutiny from those who object that some of Obama's fundraising techniques are questionable, and possibly even illegal.
CNSNews.com reported Friday that election law experts are questioning the legality of a presidential video, filmed in the White House, in which Obama dangled a raffle for a dinner with him and the vice president, in return for a campaign donation.

Economic Issues

Housing Market Hasn't Hit Rock Bottom Yet
Pending home sales increased 8.2 percent in May. Compared to an 11.3 percent drop in April it is a considerable swing. But the April decline was a historic drop and way outside the norm, even in the bubble deflation. The increase means that we'll have stronger existing home sales numbers in the coming months, assuming all the pending transactions close. However, most people want to know if this means we've hit the bottom of the housing markets decline. We haven't, says Anthony Randazzo, director of economic research at the Reason Foundation.
- To start, we'll likely see pending home sales numbers fall again in the coming months since mortgage applications fell by 3 percent the week of June 20th to the lowest level since February.
- New home sales fell 2.1 percent in May and existing home sales also continued to fall, sliding 3.8 percent.
- In context, these numbers for housing sales are essentially some of the lowest since we began keeping records.

Labor has 'snootful' but will stick with Obama
07/04/11 8:05 PM
Vice President Joe Biden addresses delegates and members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters at the union's international convention, Friday, July 1, 2011, in Las Vegas. "Don't any of you guys vote Republican," Biden said to the convention. "Let me put it this way: Don't come to me if you do. You're on your own, Jack!"
"Don't any of you guys vote Republican," Vice President Biden said to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters convention in Las Vegas last week. "Let me put it this way: Don't come to me if you do. You're on your own, Jack!"
Biden's warning, which received virtually no coverage in the press, is part of the Obama re-election campaign's 2012 strategy for organized labor. It's a two-part plan. One, use the president's executive powers to give labor all sorts of advantages that can't be achieved through legislation. And two, when labor leaders complain that they haven't gotten everything they want, tell them they have nowhere else to go.
The vice president's speech was a direct response to some very public grumbling from a top-labor leader, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka. In recent weeks, Trumka has been accusing Republicans of taking a "wrecking ball" to workers' rights -- nothing new there -- and then warning Democrats that if they don't do everything in their power to stop Republicans, they might lose labor's support. Yesterday, I had the honor of attending the Religious Freedom Rally at the Houston National Cemetery with my husband Steve. At this event, a coalition of Houston area pastors, representing a variety of ethnic and religious denominations, stood alongside several Texas politicians and local officials to support our veterans, their families, freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

Tears began swelling in my eyes early as we drove off the Sam Houston toll road onto the feeder road to a complete stop well before the signal light to turn onto Veteran's Memorial Boulevard. I felt great pride in knowing so many of my fellow Texans felt as we did and were able to attend this event. We arrived with plenty of time, but with the turn out of what I'd say was close to 1,000 people, we ended up having to park at the far end of the cemetery and were a teeny bit late to hearing the first couple speakers. But the hundred-degree heat was going to stop us. We all heard the call and we came. As we walked up to the event, I heard "pardon the noise, but this is the sound of freedom." Cheers roared throughout the crowd. How sweet it is.

The stimulus is now causing the economy to shed jobs.
The report was written by the White House's Council of Economic Advisors, a group of three economists who were all handpicked by Obama, and it chronicles the alleged success of the "stimulus" in adding or saving jobs. The council reports that, using "mainstream estimates of economic multipliers for the effects of fiscal stimulus" (which it describes as a "natural way to estimate the effects of" the legislation), the "stimulus" has added or saved just under 2.4 million jobs - whether private or public - at a cost (to date) of $666 billion. That's a cost to taxpayers of $278,000 per job.

Freedom Is Our Strategy

Broadside Books Symposium By: Matt Kibbe
How is it that millions of people located in disparate places -- each individual with unique knowledge of their community and circumstances -- can voluntarily cooperate and coordinate plans to create something far greater and more valued than any one individual could have done alone?
The answer is freedom. I am describing the miracle of the market, what Nobel Laureate economist F.A. Hayek called the spontaneous order. The basis of Hayek's critique of central government planning and Keynesian attempts to "stimulate" the economy through new spending is this understanding of the market process of discovery. Even the most benevolent Czar or the smartest bureaucrat sitting on the IPAB rationing board in the bowels of HHS could not possibly know better than free people acting to better themselves and their communities.
"Spontaneous order" equally describes the emergence and power of the citizen protest against big government we now commonly refer to as the Tea Party. Read More >>

The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees and Border Security held a hearing on the DREAM Act amnesty bill (S.952) last week. The hearing, chaired by the Act's sponsor Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), took place before a hearing room stacked full of illegal aliens bused in by the open-borders lobby. "When I look around this room, I see America's future, our doctors, our teachers, our nurses, our engineers, our scientists, our soldiers, our congressmen, our senators, and maybe our president," Durbin recited in his opening statement. Sen. Durbin even asked seven illegal alien students who would qualify for amnesty under the bill to stand and be recognized for their achievements.

Indicating he wanted an amnesty attached to the E-Verify legislation, the President added, "We may not be able to get everything that I would like to see in a package, but we have to have a balanced package."

Federal Judge Blocks Parts of Georgia's Immigration Enforcement Law
In the Georgia case of Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights v. Deal ("Deal"), Federal District Court Judge Thrash last week preliminarily enjoined Sections 7 and 8 of Georgia HB 87. Section 7 created a state crime which mirrored the federal crimes of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)-transporting illegal aliens, harboring illegal aliens, and encouraging or inducing illegal aliens to enter or remain in Georgia. Although the Supreme Court just ruled that it is perfectly acceptable for States to pass laws that "trace" federal immigration laws, Chamber of Commerce v. Whiting, Judge Thrash found Section 7 preempted because "state prosecutorial discretion and judicial interpretation will undermine federal authority 'to establish immigration enforcement and strategies.'" A message to all members of Patriot Action Network

Dear Patriot,
Here's the real truth about our nation's debt crisis that President Obama and Congress doesn't want you to know about...
Our nation's true debt stands at a whopping $120 trillion -- making the much reported and debated $14.3 trillion look like chump change!
Here's what we've found. According to the Congressional Budget Office, and as reported by the CATO Institute, a just released new report shows that the federal government's publicly held debt is set to explode to 101 percent of the GDP in just ten years!
More than the value of everything produced in the U.S!
Even worse, the CBO warns that unless substantive change in our nation's current course is made, by 2035 our debt could reach 190 percent of our GDP.
Patrot, the CBO just wrote our nation's obituary!
According to the report, the media, Obama and his cronies are only targeting "debt held by the public," and are all but ignoring "intragovernmental debt" or debt that the federal government owes itself in the form of I.O.U.'s. The New York Post likens this debt as "money you swiped from your kid's piggy bank. It may not appear on your credit report, but it's money that you still have to pay back."
And finally, there's "implicit debt," -- unfunded obligations to programs like Social Security and Medicare.
All totaled, it exceeds $120 trillion.
So while Obama and Congress put on a show for the cameras and pontificate about "staying in town until we get this done," they aren't even discussing the real mountain of debt that is looming overhead and threatening to destroy our nation!
No. This is just a game to them, and we are being played as fools.
+ + EMERGENCY PETITION DELIVERY - Thursday, July 7
The government isn't going to fix this problem. The media aren't going to fix this problem. The solution to our nation's spending problem rests with its citizens.

On Tuesday's Program
Original Argument: The Lost Chapters. Translated by Joshua Charles
Glenn couldn't fit all the Federalist Paper translations into his #1 Bestselling book The Original Argument -- all this week you'll be getting the Lost Chapters. Today's is on the House of Representatives. Here's a sample:
In considering the periods of service for Federal Representatives, there are other perhaps less important considerations, but ones which we should think about nonetheless. The distance which many of the Representatives will be required to travel (along with the travel arrangements they'll have to make) could've been a much more serious objection among those who would be fit for this service if the period of service was limited to a single year, rather than extended to two years. The situation of the current representatives in the present congress will not provide any arguments related to this subject. While it is true that they are elected annually, their respective legislative assemblies consider their re-election as almost inevitable. The election of the Representatives by the People will not be governed by the same principle.
As happens in all such assemblies, a few Representatives will possess superior talent, will become long standing members of Congress after frequent re-elections, and will likely become very thorough masters of the public business, and thus perhaps not unwilling to avail themselves of these advantages. The greater the number of new Representatives, and the less information which is available to the bulk of them, then the more likely they will be to fall into the traps which have been laid for them. This remark is just as applicable to the relationship which will exist between the House of Representatives and the Senate.

"The Making of GBTV" returns for its second episode on July 14th at 7pm ET! Right on the heels of his GBTV announcement, Glenn has another bombshell to drop on his Mercury Radio Arts staff: in August, he will travel to Israel to hold a rally to restore courage. Go behind-the-scenes as the staff comes to terms with the scope of the project and tries to turn another one of Glenn's dreams into a reality. Tensions run high and difficulties arise as rally plans clash with projects for the network, but bolstered by the success of Glenn's rally in Washington D.C. last year, rays of hope and confidence shine through. Follow the construction of the event to Restore Courage by watching "The Making of GBTV" exclusively on GBTV.com on July 14th at 7pm ET!
