Quote:
"The fundamental source of all your errors, sophisms and false reasonings is a total ignorance of the natural rights of mankind. Were you once to become acquainted with these, you could never entertain a thought, that all men are not, by nature, entitled to a parity of privileges. You would be convinced, that natural liberty is a gift of the beneficent Creator to the whole human race, and that civil liberty is founded in that; and cannot be wrested from any people, without the most manifest violation of justice."

The Qur'an, Sharia Law and the American Constitutional Republic
Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 07:00PM to 09:00:PM Quality Inn Conference Center 969 Bethlehem Pike Montgomeryville
The Muslim faith, the Islamic geopolitical movement and Sharia Law form a serious challenge to our national traditions of religious freedom, the first amendment and our cultural notions of freedom and equality. How the United States deals with this challenge will greatly impact our established ideas and laws concerning freedom of religion and our constitutional republic. The United Kingdom government has sanctioned the implementation of Sharia law, giving Sharia judges full arbitration powers, enforceable by the British judicial system.
The prospect of this occurring in the US is very real and deserves our awareness Come hear speaker Kenneth Happel address these important issues. Mr. Happel has been a public speaker at civics organizations, science and industry conventions, symposia, and government review boards. He has a unique world view of business and defense intelligence and specializes in sharing techniques to discover "what is so" about current issues. |

"We have gone to the capitals of our states and to the capitals of our government. We have talked to all the power brokers. The only power broker, the only seat of government that can and will solve this problem with or without us is God. It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths, all around the world," Glenn said in his initial announcement.
"In August, whether I'm there with seven people or 10 people or there alone, I will stand. I ask you to join me. I also ask you to take this message globally, to take this to every corner of the earth. If you have family living overseas, this is not an America solution. This is a people of faith solution. This is a people all over the world solution. I ask you to help get this word out."

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT
UN AGENDA 21
aka Local Agenda 21 & "sustainable development"
WILL SHOCK YOU!!!
Do you have a nagging feeling something is wrong, but you don't know exactly what? Who controls the US? Who writes our laws? Is it our elected officials or a higher organization like the UN? Do you know where our money comes from and how debt affects us?
Join us Saturday, July 23rd - 6pm PJ Ryan's 231 Bridge St., Phoenixville - private downstairs meeting room
There will be a discussion about UN Agenda 21 Sustainable Development, Property Rights & our Money. This meeting may help fill in some of the blanks that the media leaves out.
Agenda 21 is a plan that calls for international control & regulation of virtually every aspect of human activity that might impact the environment, which is essentially EVERYTHING YOU DO - eat, drink, cook, drive, play, work, and LIVE.
Maurice Strong, UN Secretary General - 1992 Rio de Janeiro United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) said "...Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat consumption and large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning, and suburban housing are NOT sustainable. So, what does he mean by NOT Sustainable? http://sovereignty.net/p/sd/strong.html
Translation: YOU will NO longer be allowed to have them.
J. Gary Lawrence, 1998 UK, UNEP Conference said ..."Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many... who would actively work to defeat any elected official... undertaking Local Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. So, we call our process something else such as "comprehensive planning," 'growth management' or 'smart growth.'" http://www.unedforum.org/publications/millennium/mill%20paper2.pdf
Translation: They will lie to you & deceive you so YOU won't know what they are really doing. This meeting is free & open to the public. Please come, listen and bring a friend.

RedState Morning Briefing
For June 15, 2011
1. Empty Sophistry, when directed at the War in Afghanistan, is still Empty Sophistry
Shortly after taking office in 2009, President Obama declared that a new strategy was forthcoming for the Afghan war. Over six months later, after weeks and weeks and weeks of "thoughtful deliberation" (and a few dozen rounds of golf), Obama used an awkward 45-minute appearance at West Point to boldly announce...that he was going to implement what amounted to the same strategy that President Bush and Secretary of Defense Gates had prepared just before the January 20, 2009 change of command. Bold and cutting-edge, that.
Now, as America winds down its Iraq obligation and feckless NATO blunders about 10,000 feet over North Africa, the President has another Afghan announcement to make. This one, though, is supposed to represent great news for the American people: the nearly ten-year war in Afghanistan (which may as well still be on the Dark Side of the Moon as far as many Americans are concerned) is ending, and we're declaring ourselves the victors! . . . .
If, as has been said more recently, the goal was to "punish al Qaeda and the Taliban," then that mission could have been declared accomplished by November 2001, and we all could have been spared the effort of, and the rhetoric which has accompanied, the Global War on Terror. If, on the other hand, the goal was to permanently remove the Taliban from power, neuter or destroy al Qaeda, and leave behind an Afghanistan that was domestically stable, secure, and free of terrorists, and which wasn't a threat to its own free people, to its neighbors, or to the rest of the world...well, how many more decades do you have to give?
Rather than address these questions head-on, of course, Obama declared tonight to be Arts and Crafts time and threw together a few of his favorite creations: Straw Men.
2. Obama Agencies Announce Massive Attack on American Job Creators
Over the last year, the Obama Administration, through its regulatory agencies, has been conducting a quiet war on American business-those enterprises that are the nation's job creators. Earlier this week, the union extremists in Obama's Department of Labor and the "independent" National Labor Relations Board (the same agency that may cause 1,000 Boeing employees in South Carolina to lose their jobs) launched an all-out offensive designed to maximize unions' ability to unionize the 93.1% of America's private-sector employees who are union free.
On Monday, using retread and biased psuedo-studies, the Department of Labor issued an expansive 160-page notice for proposed rule-making; request for comments. It is, in sum, a radical overhaul of the reporting requirements for employers who wish to remain union free and the consultants, lawyers, and firms that provide human resources, employee and labor relations services.
3. Horserace for June 23, 2011
This week we find Jon Huntsman in the race officially. Rick Perry continues to look at getting in the race. And there's a battle shaping up in Iowa.
I'll get into it all and how the candidates are stacked up.
4. Republicans Urge Obama to Raise Fuel Efficiency by 100 percent
The Obama green dreams have recently been awarded assistance by nearly forgotten former Republicans officials, desperate to find relevance. The collection of fifteen former governors, congressmen & agency officials are joining in with the President and Democrats who have long been of the opinion that the American public will only do what's "right" if they are left with no other options. In the world of green, this translates into higher efficiency standards.
5. When is a War not a War? When Obama is President and Libya is the Opponent
Last week, at House Speaker John Boehner's (R-OH) request, the Obama administration provided a brief (32 pages plus classified addenda) overview of its activities in Libya, its conversations with Congress about them, and its rationale for not needing Congressional approval to continue this war ad infinitem. The full document (minus the classified annexes) is available here in pdf form. Here are a few highlights.
6. It's Official: You Must be an Eco-Socialist to Graduate in Maryland
It's not like Maryland Democrats haven't worked assiduously to earn the distinction of 'least free state in the country' for their beloved Free State.
Maryland high school students will now be required to pass green proficiency requirements in order to graduate. The Maryland state board of education will require public schools within the state to weave in eco-socialist propaganda to the general science curriculum. Sadly, due to flaccid opposition and complacency on the part of all of us, public schools across the country have already been doing this for quite some time. Maryland is merely the first state to consummate those requirements as part of the "official curriculum."
7. The nonsensical, astroturf campaign against AT&T and T-Mobile
I've said before that the case against the AT&T/T-Mobile deal makes no sense. Not only does the historical record suggest that the merger will increase competition, but the actions of key players are the opposite of what we'd predict if the merger were expected to reduce competition and raise margins.
There's something more to it, though. That something is astroturf pushing a basic agenda of an expanded government role in the media. Why yes, the same forces were behind Net Neutrality that are now behind the anti-AT&T coalition, in addition to Sprint who wants to keep prices higher and competition lower, by preventing AT&T and T-Mobile from getting together and being more effective.

Defend Israel.
LIBERAL MYTH NO. 4: "Israel was built by immigrants from European countries: they could 'go home' by going back to Germany, Austria, and Poland."
REFUTATION: Baloney. More than half of Israel's Jewish population is of Arab stock and came to Israel when forced to leave Arab/Muslim countries like Morocco, Libya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.

Fellow Patriots,
If you ever wondered how important your vote is, consider the fact that Rep. Cynthia McKinney was elected to the office of U.S. Representative 6 times, even though she vigorously promoted Libya as an example for the United States and all of Africa to aspire to (among other lunacies. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynthia_McKinney ). This is not the same video sent before. She goes even further in her praise of Libya in this one.
Once again, you have to see the eye-popping words come from her own lips to believe it --> http://www.theblaze.com/stories/cynthia-mckinney-claims-the-us-does-not-have-free-education-which-is-why-libya-is-a-much-better-place-to-live/
Elections often swing one way or the other due to a few thousand or even hundred votes. So please make sure to cast your ballot. Share this video with your friends and encourage them to vote. In doing this, you are playing an essential role in preventing TRULY INSANE liberal Muslim sympathizers from running this country.
Thank you,
Dave

Technocracy Isn't Policy
The celebration of the Arab Spring is built on faith in the redemptive ability of enhanced communications technologies to create a transparent global culture. To the true believers on the New York Times editorial page, it is axiomatic that cultural revolutions driven by communications technologies will be liberal. That anything which breaks down barriers must be liberal. Technocracy as foreign policy has become the standard reaction to turmoil and instability in the Muslim world. Whether it's Hillary Clinton talking about the need to have relationships with the populations of entire countries or Thomas Friedman sketching out yet another vision of a New Middle East, the misplaced enthusiasm is everywhere. At the heart of it all is the idea that social media is leading to the dawn of a new age.

Obama Administration reduces U.S. to level of Iran and other state sponsors of terroristic violence ANYBODY who votes for Obama in 2012 makes himself or herself a party to one of the most shameful and dishonorable acts in our nation's history. (Talking point for letters to the editor) by Bill Levinson
The American public needs to be made fully aware of the consequences of "Fast and Furious" or, as it is more commonly known, Operation Gunwalker. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), which reports to Attorney General Eric Holder, orchestrated the transfer of 2500 firearms including the kind that the anti-Second Amendment Left calls "assault weapons" to suspected or even known members of Mexican drug cartels. In other words, BATFE perpetrated multiple firearm-related felonies, and specifically the kind of felonies it is duty bound to prevent: the transfer of firearms to prohibited persons such as those engaged in drug...

Not Stealing Palestine, but Purchasing Israel
By Daniel Pipes, NRO
Zionists stole Palestinian land: That's the mantra both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas teach their children and propagate in their media. This claim has vast importance, as Palestinian Media Watch explains: "Presenting the creation of the state as an act of theft and its continued existence as a historical injustice serves as the basis for the PA's non-recognition of Israel's right to exist." The accusation of theft also undermines Israel's position internationally.
But is this accusation true?
No, it is not. Ironically, the building of Israel represents almost the most peaceable in-migration and state creation in history. Understanding why requires seeing Zionism in context. Simply put, conquest is the historical norm. Governments everywhere have been established through invasion and nearly all states came into being at someone else's expense. No one is permanently in charge;...

I reminded Dore Gold that '67 lines with land swaps was also part of the Roadmap. The SAudis also said that swaps should be of equal value not area. Ted Belman
Dore Gold, JCPA When President Obama first made his controversial reference to the 1967 lines as the basis for future Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, he introduced the idea that there would be "mutually agreed swaps" of land between the two sides. Yet neither UN Security Council Resolution 242 nor any subsequent signed agreements with the Palestinians stipulated that Israel would have to pay for any West Bank land it would retain by handing over its own sovereign land in exchange.
So where did the idea of land swaps come from? During the mid-1990s, Israeli academics involved in backchannel talks accepted the principle that the Palestinians would obtain 100% of the territory, just like Egypt received 100% of the Sinai Peninsula, and they proposed giving Israeli land to the Palestinians as...

According to HAARETZ, Netanyahu told his cabinet that it's more important to 'preserve a solid Jewish majority inside the State of Israel' than holding land home to a Palestinian majority.
He also said the number of Palestinians and Jews between the Jordan River and the sea "is irrelevant" and that it's more important to "preserve a solid Jewish majority inside the State of Israel."
This is a bombshell. Now we know where he is going. In no way does his argument support '67 lines with swaps which he seems to accept. Why not keep all of area C and B and give autonomy only on A.
Obama may be right when he tells Jewish donors that U.S.-Israel disagreements are only 'tactical'
Prof. Sergio DellaPergola, reports demographic studies which show that, in a number of years, the demographic trends will result in a Palestinian majority between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
This is a big lie. I...

Exhibit A for this preposterous proposition is the Bush tax cuts. The left wants you to accept it as conventional wisdom that the policy was a bust.

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined." --Patrick Henry
Editorial Exegesis

"Acting ATF director Kenneth Melson is apparently ready to take the fall for what may be the most morally repulsive scandal to befall the Obama administration so far. Our neighbor Mexico lies bleeding from a long, vicious war to fight seven major drug cartels at once. Some 38,000 have been left dead since 2006. Amid all this, U.S. ATF agents had orders from on high to supply U.S. weapons to cartel middlemen buying them on U.S. soil for the odd purpose of 'tracing' them. The news that Melson is resigning seems to be a bid by the Obama administration to paint this as simply an example of Keystone Kop-style bungling being corrected. But many things suggest the operation may have been done for political purposes, and not merely stupidity. The idea behind 'Operation Fast and Furious' was to let gun dealers sell weapons to cartel middlemen, who would then ship them to criminal gangs in Mexico, and damn the consequences. ... There was no effort to trace the weapons even after letting them get out. If the weapons weren't traced, why was this operation sanctioned? ... [Barack Obama ... wanted to reinstate an assault-weapon ban in 2008, but said he did not have the political capital to do it. Bob Owens, writing for Pajamas Media, noted that the administration seemed to want to whip up a crisis requiring a crackdown on guns in the U.S. It gets worse. President Obama has long wanted gun-control-oriented ATF agent Andrew Traver to head the agency. Now, with Melson rumored to be ready to quit this week, he may get his way and benefit. There are real questions that must be answered about who knew about this, and when. An American lies murdered for what may be political aims. He has a right to justice -- as high up as it goes." --Investor's Business Daily

"What the economy is missing is commercial loan activity or a willingness by corporate boards to part with cash. It's missing those components because bankers and board members generally aren't dopes when it comes to business decisions. Nope, we have enough money to get out of the doldrums. The problem isn't liquidity. The problem is that we have way more Obama than our economy can stand. ... Not a day goes by that I don't see several stories about how the administration is trying to either sue some business or impose new regulations on them. It's absolutely impossible for business owners to make competent plans to hire people under the Obama administration." --columnist John Ransom
"Trying to put everyone back in the position they once thought they were in simply won't work. But it does sound attractive politically. People can remember what life was like in the past. We don't, however, know what it will be like in the future. Republicans want less government spending and more leeway for entrepreneurs to create new businesses and jobs. No one knows what innovative products and services will emerge. That's the beauty of free enterprise, but it also makes it a hard sell politically. Unless voters have figured out no amount of government spending is going to restore the old status quo." --political analyst Michael Barone
"Far more disturbing than the salacious details of [Anthony] Weiner's dalliances is the fact that apparently his mother-in-law is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Furthermore, [his wife] Huma Abedin's brother, Hassan, 'is listed as a fellow and partner with a number of Muslim Brotherhood members.' Hassan works at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) at Oxford University. The Egyptian Al-Azhar University, well-known for a curriculum that encourages extremism and terrorism, is active in establishing links with OCIS. ... Is the Weiner scandal really covering up a far more disturbing scenario whereby jihadists continue to infiltrate and influence American universities, military installations, homeland security, even local police forces, all while the press ignores the steady encroachment of these radicals who seek to overturn and destroy America?" --columnist Eileen F. Toplansky
"If doting progressives stopped gazing longingly into 'Obama's face' for just a moment, they might notice that in Benghazi 'democracy activists' have been rounding up Libyan blacks and immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa. In Bahrain 'democracy activists' have attacked hundreds of Bangladeshis and Pakistanis, ripping the tongue out of one muezzin and leaving him brain damaged. What's so 'multicultural' about the pampered middle-aged narcissists of the West's leisurely 'activist' varsity pretending that the entire planet is just like them? You can learn a lot from the deceptions a society chooses to swallow. ... That's because the liberal worldview is a fiction." --columnist Mark Steyn

Did he really save us? "We had lost four million jobs in the six months before I was sworn in; lost another four million during the period probably six months after I was elected. And so as a consequence, we had to do some things that we didn't expect we would have to do, just to save the economy -- stabilize the financial system, make sure that states and local governments didn't have to lay off police officers and cops and firefighters. We had to save an auto industry. I never expected to be a automobile executive. As a consequence of that swift, decisive, and sometimes difficult period, we were able to take an economy that was shrinking by about 6 percent and create an economy that is now growing, and has grown steadily now over many consecutive quarters. Over the last 15 months we've created over 2.1 million private sector jobs." --Barack Obama, who has grown government more than any of his predecessors

None so blind as those who will not see: "Conservatives now resemble the old Marxists who refuse to look at actual experience. I know it works in practice, the old saw goes, but does it work in theory? Republicans often praise businessmen. Well, one of the first steps any business now takes when confronting a problem is to ask how are other companies around the world handling this? Is there a best practice we can learn from? But in any area, from infrastructure to health care to education, that is heresy on the right. It's a shame. I think we need smart, market-friendly conservative reforms that streamline government, cut costs in health care, empower individuals, but they need to be rooted in reality, drawn from best practices around the world and based on practical measures of what seems to work. What we have instead are policies that are simply recitations of some free-market theory taken out of some book based on no actually existing national economy." --CNN's Fareed Zakaria, who apparently played Rip van Winkle during the Reagan economic boom
Name calling: "You talk about money the U.S. spent fighting this global war on terrorism. I think, which is a terrible misnomer, it's like a war on fear or something like that. And I think in many ways it has been a war of fear." --NBC's Richard Engel
Editing the pledge: "One nation [redacted] with liberty and justice for all." --NBC during a golf broadcast, omitting the words "under God" from the pledge -- in their ensuing apology, they still don't mention the missing words: "Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out."

Reverend Wright brings his anti-American crusade to Baltimore
Marta Mossburg writes that Obama's former pastor urges blacks to disavow their country
Marta H. Mossburg
June 21, 2011
Forget hope and change; victimization is in. Dropped by the president and dismissed as a racist by many Americans, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright still draws crowds with his sometimes crotch-grabbing, always riveting soliloquies about black oppression.
The former pastor of Barack Obama drew thousands last week to the 8,000-member Empowerment Temple in Baltimore City. Overflow lots at the church were filled, and five blocks on either side of the massive stadium-like stucco building in Park Heights - a part of town where Orthodox Jews mix sometimes uneasily with blacks - were wall to wall with cars.
In this city where nearly 80,000 people left (along with 53,000 jobs) in the last decade, it's easy to understand why his message resonates.

A Promise is a promise and a compulsory assessment, by any name, is a tax.
Dear friends,
Here we go again. We know how difficult it is to attract new economic development in this Commonwealth, and we also know just how desperately we need this type of growth. High tax rates, fatiguing regulations and permits, all serve to make this state difficult at best in which to do business. And now with the discovery of abundant natural resources in the form of natural gas, and the promise of broad based economic prosperity on the horizon, the 'tax and spenders' emerge again.
This time, like mosquitoes in a fertile swamp, these tax and spenders buzz around seeking hosts by which they can fulfill their mission: to engorge themselves on the very life-blood of others. And it's not just one side of the political isle. In reality, there are tax and spenders on both sides and in both the Senate and House. For a long time, certain members of the Legislature have pushed for a severance tax on all gas from every well. Rightly so, the Governor has refused to consider such a tax. He has made his intentions clear on vetoing any such tax and has tied his integrity directly to the honoring of this pledge.
AFP-PA supports the Governor in upholding his promise to not raise taxes during his administration. In addition, we steadfastly encourage and support serious, overall tax reform and recovery. We strongly oppose any effort to add a new tax-in any form, by any name. We urge the Governor to continue to do the same. These are critical times when Government should be looking toward serious, overall tax reform, not for more money to spend.
An involuntary financial assessment, by any name, is a tax. Call it what they like, but the proposed 'impact fee' coming from proponents in the House and Senate is nothing short of a new tax. Regardless of the proposed usage of the new revenue stream, or for what nice sounding purposes it is promoted, the fact remains this is a new tax. Whether the proposed fee is for $25,000 per well per year, or for $50,000 per well, as sought by some Legislators, the result is the same. A promise is a promise. If Governor Corbett signs off on this "impact fee" it boils down to a new tax, and a broken promise to the taxpayers.
It's time to be forthright. For the following reasons, the Legislature and the Governor must resist and oppose all efforts to impose any new tax:
ˇ To position this new 'fee' or 'impact fee' as something other than a "tax" is dishonest. Individuals and business owners recognize that there is no difference.
ˇ To seek such a tax increase on a newly developing industry, regardless of its potential size and ability to pay, and especially in the absence of clear necessity, is a form of governmental extortion.
The Commonwealth is already receiving significant increases in revenue and as new industry-related businesses spring up, and jobs with them, the state will continue to see increased revenues without any change in the current tax structure. The growth in this industry will naturally result in additional contributors to Income taxes and other current taxes.
No new tax, fee or substantive ongoing financial assessment should be imposed on this or any new industry without a comprehensive overall restructuring of our corporate tax system.
The Governor cannot sign any tax or fee increase without violating his pledge. Instead, the legislature and the Governor should focus their attention on reform of our uncompetitive tax system and work toward eliminating the host of job-killing regulations that plague the job creators of this Commonwealth.
NOW is the time for true leadership, and for those committed to economic prosperity and job creation, to stand up and protect prosperity from bloodsucking. AFP-PA calls on the leadership of this great Commonwealth to oppose this massive tax increase. It's the right thing to do.
Please reach out to your legislator and let him or her know that you do not want them to stunt economic growth in Pennsylvania. Tell them they cannot continue to drain the vitality from Pennsylvania. Click right here to find your legislator. Reach out today and tell your senator or representative to "oppose the impact fee!"

The right wing won the 2010 election, fair and square, the way elections are supposed to work. So why are they gaming the system, re-writing the time-honored rules of democracy to give their side an unfair advanatage? Their beloved Founding Fathers (top) must be spinning in their graves. The voter ID bill that's wending its way through Harrisburg -- which would disenfranchise thousands of legitimate voters to catch four or five cheaters, if that many -- is a disgrace:
Doug Hill, the association's executive director, said none of the counties has reported even a suspicion of significant voter fraud.
"It just doesn't happen the way supporters are claiming it does," said Hill.

Commie Bammy or Commie Rommy in 2012?Maybe it would be time to go Galt
Jun 22, 2011 06:13 am | Coach Collins
By Basil Irwin, staff writer
So, come 2012 would you prefer four more years of Chicago Commie-thug politics or the lesser socialism of Mitt Romney?
Unfortunately, this is a germane question, and I suspect it may be on the minds of many thinking conservatives right now.
Suppose Romney does get the 2012 nomination. Then what? If he wins the Presidency, will Romney be Obama's Reagan? Will Romney undo the damage Obama has inflicted on our great nation and steer us back to a prosperous and fruitful course? No, of course not.
Is Romney much different than Obama? Not really. Romney embraces the worst of Obammunism, including the Marxist fairy tail of global warming, as well as socialized medicine which redistributes medical care by taking from the haves and GIVING to the have-nots. Heck, Romney even helped invent Obamacare!
Not to mention, Romney must be completely deluded and totally detached from reality when he says he thinks he aligns ... Continue Reading:Commie Bammy or Commie Rommy in 2012?Maybe it would be time to go Galt

Weiner's gone now we need answers from Hillary: what did she know about Huma and when did she know?
Jun 21, 2011 03:30 pm | Coach Collins
By Kevin "Coach" Collins
When Anthony Weiner resigned few observers over 12 years old believed he was doing so because it was "the right thing to do" as taught to him by his typical liberal Democrat parents. Liberal Democrats are not hard wired to do things for any greater good save for that of the Democrat Party.
Those who watched his "pro forma" apology and resignation last week suspected there was more to the story and he was falling on his sword to hide something. That something now seems to be emerging and it is more hideous and alarming than we could have imagined: Weiner's Muslim wife comes from a family of active members of the Muslim Brotherhood!
Weiners's mother-in-law and brother-in-law are members of an Islamist terror group. These facts beg many gut wrenching questions: How long has Secretary of State Hillary Clinton known her chief adviser is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood?
What "advice" has Hillary gotten from her Muslim ... Continue Reading:Weiner's gone now we need answers from Hillary: what did she know about Huma and when did she know?

SPECIAL SCHOOL CHOICE UPDATE
______________________________________________________________________
THE SCHOOL CHOICE MOVEMENT IS AT A CROSSROADS Can Governor Corbett lead us to the path of REAL School Choice?
Sharon Cherubin, Executive Director UNITEPA
June 21, 2011 When Governor Corbett took office in January, school choice was a priority. Unfortunately, that priority was sidetracked by political agendas and the lack of clarity. In response to the lack of leadership and commitment to ALL Pennsylvania families, UNITEPA & the Independence Hall Tea Party Association, formed the Grassroots Coalition for REAL School Choice, comprised of over 22 grassroots groups and individual grassroots citizens. The coalition's mission, at a minimum, has always been to ensure that ALL children in failing schools were rescued, not just a those who "qualify for a free lunch". After months of petitioning our General Assembly, we finally have several pieces of legislation that have the potential to rescue ALL children in failing schools, unlike Senate Bill 1 which specifically catered to low-income families. SB1 would have left behind almost 30,000 low-middle income children in failing, sometimes violent schools. SB1 assumed that every family that did not qualify for a "free lunch" could afford to make major financial sacrifices to give their child a non-public education. It also assumed that the only alternative to public education, was a private school education. SB1 maintained that your child's education was only worth what the government says they were entitled to. These assumptions and precedents stifle choice and prevent the very essence of 'choice'. School Choice is not new the Pennsylvania. In fact, we have the most robust Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program in the country. Our state has tax payer funded charter schools and cyber schools, Magnet schools, protective homeschool legislation, private school and private cyber schools. Yet, many parents do not have the power to tap into these education alternatives.
Yesterday, Representative Curt Schroder introduced two bills, House Bill 1679, the Failing Schools Student Rescue Act and House Bill 1678, the Opportunity Scholarship and Educational Improvement Tax Credit Act. HB1679 would rescue all children in failing schools regardless of income, granting each child a voucher for $5,000. HB1678 would grant every child in the Commonwealth a voucher for $5,000 regardless of income status and resident school. Both bills increase the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program to the same levels in HB1330 which passed the house overwhelmingly 190-7. Both bills also include a provision for homeschooling families which defies the assumption that private school is the only tax credit funded alternative. Parents would be able to offset homeschool expenses by having access to the EITC program, which is solely funded by corporate donations, not taxpayer money. Homeschool families are the most scrutinized group of educators yet they are the most cost effective segment of the population. Plus their test results are far greater than those in the public sector. Homeschool families saved the state an estimated 286 million dollars last year, yet parents currently do not qualify for the reimbursement of even one penny. This legislation not only assists homeschooling families but it promotes and encourages home education by decreasing the financial hardship for so many.
Today, Representative Jim Christiana unveiled House Bill 1708, the Students and Schools Rescue Act. HB1708 is virtually the same bill as the failed SB1 bill, however, it is limited to failing schools. Again, income based vouchers rely on the assumption that every family can afford the balance of tuition. Not all families are alike. They have medical expenses, unforeseen debt, mortgages, two and three jobs. HB1708 does not consider the make up of every household and the needs specific to that family. Unlike Christiana's bill, Schroders' bills do not discriminate against any family or assume that they have the means. Thankfully, however, at least Christiana's bill also increases the EITC program to the same levels as HB1330.
The coalition has always believed that school choice should be fair, equitable and principled with the child's educational needs at the center of the debate. All children are worthy and deserving of a proper and fulfilling education regardless of income. We understand the difficulty in having any meaningful legislation when national organizations and paid lobbying groups are standing in the way of true academic freedom. We can only hope that our legislators can come to the table to discuss a hybrid of options that reflect REAL school choice without rushing a bill to simply to pass something.
In the heart of every child, there is an innate desire to learn, to be useful and to be productive member of society. We hope that all Pennsylvania Citizens join us in imploring our Senators and Representatives to support Representative Schroder's bills which would empower failing school parents and potentially all parents with choice. We also appeal to Governor Corbett for clarity and to lead Pennsylvania to the path of REAL SCHOOL CHOICE!
CALL TO ACTION:
Please call the following legislators and let them know that Representative Schroder's bills - HB 1678 & HB1679 are clearly better bills than Representative Christiana's bill and that they truly have every child's best interest at heart.
Christiana's bill could be set to be fast tracked simply to say "they passed something". We cannot pass any legislation without proper debate and disclosure. Our children's education is at stake. Regardless of the outcome, any bill that would pass by June 30th would not take affect until the 2012-2013 school year anyway, so rushing a vote would have no immediate impact other than political selfishness.
Pennsylvania has to get this right - we have waited too long just to pass something to appease those with a political vested interest.

and thank him for drafting legislation that starts us down the path
of REAL SCHOOL CHOICE. Represenative Curt Schroder (610) 524-5595 cschrode@pahousegop.com

2012 Update
- Fresh off his formal announcement speech in which he pledged to run a civil campaign against Barack Obama, former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman didn't waste any time taking on GOP front-runner Mitt Romney. In an interview with ABC News, Huntsman said, "If you're talking about free market health care, the kind we did in Utah, and the kind that is needed in this country, then he [Romney] has little credibility. Little credibility based on the model that was created in Massachusetts."
While challenging Romney over ObamaCare, Huntsman joined Romney in refusing to sign a pledge regarding pro-life appointments and promising to end taxpayer-funding of abortion. He ran to the left of Barack Obama by stating that he wanted to pull out of Afghanistan even faster. And Huntsman told reporters that he would not interfere with New York's attempts to redefine marriage. I assume that means he would not support a constitutional amendment defining marriage in all fifty states as the union of one man and one woman.
Perhaps that is why Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid said yesterday, "If I had a choice, I would favor Huntsman..." - In addition to Romney and Huntsman, two other candidates have so far refused to sign the pro-life pledge - former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson, who also favors drug legalization, and former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain.
Bad News For Barack
The latest Bloomberg News poll contains some very bad news for President Obama. Here is a sample of the poll's findings:
- On policy matters, 57% of those surveyed disapproved of Obama's handling of the economy and job creation. When asked the best way to generate economic growth, 55% said spending cuts and tax cuts, while 34% said government spending.
- 61% said they were not willing to pay higher taxes to reduce the deficit, while 36% said they were. Only 34% of those surveyed said they were "better off" today compared to January 2009, while 44% said they were "worse off" since Obama took office.
- Looking ahead to 2012, 61% of those surveyed agreed with the statement that if the economy is not "substantially better" next year it will be "very hard" to vote for Barack Obama.
- Just 31% of likely voters said they would "definitely vote" for Obama, while 40% said they would "definitely vote for another candidate."
Time's Up!
President Obama will address the nation tonight to explain his plans for withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. Press reports indicate that as many as 30,000 troops may be leaving the country - 10,000 this year and 20,000 next year. There are sharp divisions between the White House and the Pentagon, with field commanders objecting to Obama's plans. But we should not be surprised - this is exactly what Obama said he would do.
In December 2009, President Obama announced he would send reinforcements to Afghanistan after weeks of indecision and heavy pressure from the U.S. military. On that occasion, Obama said, "I have determined that it is in our vital national interest to send an additional 30,000 U.S. troops to Afghanistan." But in the very next breath Obama told us and the Taliban, "After 18 months our troops will begin to come home." Time's up.
The blistering reaction to the president's self-imposed deadline in 2009 was remarkable - mainly because it came from many in the left-wing media. Veteran CBS anchor Bob Schieffer said, "I just don't understand the logic of how that works. ...This is not a football game, where the time runs out. To win this war, you have to defeat the enemy."
Here's one more: "Where's the hope? ... If I were with the Taliban right now, I'd put a little Post-it up on that month in 2011, and say: 'This is when we do OUR surge.'" That wasn't Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh, but MSNBC's Chris Matthews.
We'll see what the president has to say tonight. But I find it disturbing that we have reportedly entered into negotiations with the Taliban at the very time we are about to begin a major withdrawal. This president told ABC News that he was uncomfortable using the word "victory" and he is proving it.
The Culture War
In addition to NBC's boneheaded decision to cut God out of the Pledge, a few items in the news lately have caught my attention. While seemingly unrelated, they are all evidence of the left's war against free enterprise and traditional values.
- Warning To Parents! This week, Disney's Cars 2 will hit movie theaters and is widely expected to be a big hit. But, according to director John Lasseter, the movie's "uber bad guy" is - you guessed it - "Big Oil." Millions of our children will be taught in this movie that our energy industry is evil.
- Comedy Central's Jon Stewart went on Fox News Sunday last weekend and denied that there was a left-wing bias in the media - not even at the New York Times. But Stewart also emphatically declared that Fox's conservative viewers are ignorant and that every poll proved they are "consistently misinformed." As usual, reality is very different from the left's view of things. Politifact labeled Stewart's claim "false." In fact, Fox viewers are among the best informed, according to a recent poll.
- Al Gore, guardian of the planet, has jumped on the population control bandwagon. Speaking in New York City this week Gore appeared to compare children to pollution. Gore said, "One of the things we could do about it is to change the technologies, to put out less of this pollution, to stabilize the population, and one of the principle ways of doing that is to empower and educate girls and women. You have to have ubiquitous availability of fertility management..."
Whatever Gore was referring to, it is undeniable that many on the left view humanity as a virulent disease that is giving Mother Earth a fever. Many committed environmentalist are refusing to have children.
Abortion-on-demand and euthanasia fit neatly into the green agenda. It is why liberal politicians will fight to prevent Wal-Mart from opening new stores, even though it creates jobs. And the same politicians will fight to protect taxpayer-funding of Planned Parenthood, whose main goal is to ensure that unborn children don't make it out of the womb alive.
As I have often said before, the culture war is real and only one side can prevail. Whose values will we pass on to our children and grandchildren? The next election could well decide the outcome. Please go to www.cwfpac.com right now to make the most generous commitment you can.

Obama Strikes God from the Declaration Again, Inadvertently Proves the Bible is True By Ben Johnson, The White House Watch
|
This weekend, President Obama once again omitted the Declaration of Independence's reference to the "Creator," this time while celebrating an international sanction of the homosexual and transgender lifestyle. Ironically, in doing so, he proved the truth of the Bible.
Last Friday, the UN Human Rights Council passed a resolution authored by South Africa affirming the rights of homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender people by the narrow margin of 23-19. Later that day, Obama issued a statement declaring the vote "marks a significant milestone in the long struggle for equality, and the beginning of a universal recognition that LGBT persons are endowed with the same inalienable rights -- and entitled to the same protections -- as all human beings."
Of course, the Declaration of Independence states "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights."
This makes at least the fifth time Obama has struck the Founders' reference to Almighty God from the Declaration.
The statement further underscores the president's.... |

Darrell Issa: Fast & Furious Goes Much Higher than the ATF By Matthew Boyle, The Daily Caller

A spokesman for House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa told The Daily Caller the congressman expects his investigations into the Justice Department's gun walking programs to point to a much higher political appointee than acting ATF director Kenneth Melson. Melson is widely expected to resign some time in the next couple of days in the face of political pressure from Issa's investigations into Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast Furious.
Even if Melson resigns, Issa spokesman Frederick Hill said.... |

More Stealth Amnesty: Obama to Suspend Countless Deportations By Judicial Watch
|
In a first for any administration, President Obama has implemented a new system to spare a myriad of illegal immigrants from removal by authorizing-and encouraging-low-level field officers to block deportations by using an outrageously broad list of exemptions.
The unprecedented program will allow droves of undocumented immigrants to remain in the U.S. by drastically expanding factors that can be considered to exercise "prosecutorial discretion." That's when agencies get to decide to what degree they enforce certain laws against particular individuals. |

The Very Bad Week in D.C. By Michael Oberndorf, FloydReports.com
|
It's been another one of those weeks, when every day has brought a new jaw-dropping revelation about the unbridled, unmitigated, unabashed corruption of what formerly was "our" government. We have an election coming in a year and a half, and we clearly have our work cut out for ourselves. Let's make a brief summary of the abuse America has been subjected to this week by her self-appointed, and self-anointed "leaders."
The cesspool that used to be the Senate voted 95-5 for a blatantly unconstitutional bill, misleadingly named the America Invents Act, S. 23. This bill destroys over 200 years of patent protections for American inventors, and imposes, instead, "global standards" that amount to a giveaway of American inventions to the Chinese. Phyllis Schlafly has been warning about this bill and its consequences for some time, but.... |
