Obama's Policy Working: Syrians Attacking Israel for Him

  In what may lead to Israel finally ridding itself of the human debris constantly threatening to push her into the sea, waves of terrorists, taking Obama's recent remarks as permission to act on their hatred for Jews, tried to overrun the Israeli border, and thankfully were pushed back.

 The only bad news is they stopped before Israel was able to kill more than 20 or so of the terrorists. Where is the great Muslim suicide mentality when you really need it? Israel was offering all takers 72 virgins, yet the Muslim cowards turned tail to continue to survive to breath and terrorize another day.

 The head Iranian puppet in Syria, Basher al-Assad, sent the terrorists to get as many killed as possible, to see if Israel could reach his own numbers when it comes to killing his citizens. Dozens of 'incubators' for jihad found in U.S.

'More than 80% of mosques advocate or promote violence'

Dozens of mosques around the United States have been identified in a new study as incubators for jihad against America, with more than 80 percent of those surveyed advocating violence.

"Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51 percent had texts on-site rated as severely advocating violence; 30 percent had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19 percent had no violent texts at all," said the survey compiled by Mordechai Kedar and David Yerushalmi and published by the Middle East Quarterly.

"How's this for a wake-up call?" asked Frank Gaffney, chief of the Center for Security Policy in a commentary today in the Washington Times.

During President Obama's "blame Bush" campaign, which helped him get elected, our Constitutional Scholar in Chief and University of Chicago professor lectured the nation on the differences between "wars of necessity" such as Afghanistan, which were good, and "wars of choice" such as Iraq, which were bad.  "Wars of choice" were bad because they expressed U.S. unilateralism and aggression on the world stage, and would only turn the world against us and hurt our long-term strategic interests.

Well, since then, our President:

·         Gave a momentous speech in Cairo ( http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/remarks-president-cairo-university-6-04-09 ) that set the stage for revolution throughout the Middle East.

·         Pulled the rug of support out from under key allies in the Middle East, such as President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia and President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, by allying with protestors and telling these leaders to step down without any idea of what would follow after their departures.  This is not to say that these leaders weren't autocratic or corrupt, but to say that, without a game plan, the likelihood of positive outcomes are remote.  So far, it's been looking like these nations have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.

·         Initiated warfare on Muammar Gadhafi of Libya without the approval of Congress, and excused the action by promising that it would take "days, not weeks" to finish.  Well, after a few weeks, the President shifted leadership of the war effort to NATO in an effort to hide America's dominance of the continued war effort.  After more than two months, the war has not abated, the President has still not gone to Congress for approval, and now there is talk that the only way to finish off Gadhafi is to put NATO's -- that is, America's -- troops on the ground.  Meanwhile, the Libyan rebels remain poorly organized and unable to accomplish much of anything without overwhelming support from NATO, which will virtually guarantee that Coalition forces will once again go through the same kind of nation building exercise that we've seen in Afghanistan and Iraq.  In other words, the President has, without approval of Congress, enmeshed us in a "war of choice" against a country that did not present any kind of threat to the United States.  In doing so, he has also committed us to the same kind of lengthy and expensive nation-building exercise that we have had in Afghanistan and Iraq.

·         Initiated warfare in Yemen, a country tottering on the brink of revolution, whose President is recovering in Saudi Arabia from severe burns received during an attack.  Given our nation's experience with these kinds of adventures, we can expect this war in Yemen to escalate and ultimately entangle us an another lengthy and expensive nation-building exercise.

Our President has done all this while the United States is searching under the sofa cushions for money to pay bills as it hits its debt ceiling.  In other words, while Congress scrambles to figure out how to keep the United States solvent, our President has involved us in two additional "wars of choice" without even asking for Congress's consent -- something George Bush NEVER did.  But then again, why should Obama ask for money when he knows Congress will say NO?  Just spend it and ask for forgiveness later!

At least we can credit President Obama for not initiating "wars of choice" unilaterally.  In the case of Libya, he's spending billions of American dollars and risking American lives to serve the interests of France and Britain, and in Yemen, he's doing the same to serve the interests of Wahhabist -- oops! I meant "staunch ally" -- Saudi Arabia. 

This is not to say that we don't have interests of our own for being in Yemen.  The trove of information captured with the operation to kill Osama bin Laden was full of names and plots originating in Yemen, and President Obama is probably striking quickly while the information is hot.  However, this kind of opportunistic foreign policy is missing an over-all game plan that has been presented to Congress and the general public.  What are the specific objectives?  Are they necessary?  Are they sufficient?  What's the expense?  How does this fit into the over-all financial picture of the United States?  Have we bitten off more than we can chew?  What's the exit plan?  Where will it leave our long-term strategic interests?

More importantly, what kind of precedents are being set for Presidential power?  What has happened to the American system of checks and balances?

There has been little debate on these questions because our President has failed to include the American people in the decision-making process.  After leading us into two new wars, where else will he lead us?

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration has intensified the American covert war in Yemen, exploiting a growing power vacuum in the country to strike at militant suspects with armed drones and fighter jets, according to American officials.

The acceleration of the American campaign in recent weeks comes amid a violent conflict in Yemen that has left the government in Sana, a United States ally, struggling to cling to power. Yemeni troops that had been battling militants linked to Al Qaeda in the south have been pulled back to the capital, and American officials see the strikes as one of the few options to keep the militants from consolidating power.

On Friday, American jets killed Abu Ali al-Harithi, a midlevel Qaeda operative, and several other militant suspects in a strike in southern Yemen. According to witnesses, four civilians were also killed in the airstrike. Weeks earlier, drone aircraft fired missiles aimed at Anwar al-Awlaki, the radical American-born cleric who the United States government has tried to kill for more than a year. Mr. Awlaki survived.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed states Obama told him...he was still a Muslim...

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, in which President Obama told him that he was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the stepson of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

Finally, during the week of 14-18th of January 2010, just on the eve of my winter tour to the US, Rachel picked up a Nile TV broadcast in which Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit said on the "Round Table Show" that he had had a one on one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda. He asked that the Moslem world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American problems (Healthcare), that he would show the Moslem world what he would do with Israel. Successfully Combating Jihad and Sharia

 Consider these alarming data.

This snapshot leaves us with the unmistakable conclusion: Support for sharia law among Muslims across the world is widespread and growing.

This is what the apologists for radical Islam, those who arrogantly dismiss concerns about sharia law, either are ignorant of or willfully blind to.

Are there "moderate" and "reformist" Muslims who do not subscribe to either violent jihad or stealth jihad, who do not subscribe to the advance of sharia law and the unity of mosque and state? Of course.

We work with some of these leaders and promote what they do. We commend them and hope their efforts succeed.

But, for many reasons, the odds are clearly against them. As the poll results above demonstrate, Islamic organizations and leaders that are committed to the advance of sharia law, either through violent or stealth jihad, are driving the agenda for worldwide Islam.

This is why those who follow ACT! for America see our staff, chapter leaders and members working hard, day in and day out, to build a formidable, ever-increasing national citizen action network, employing strategies and tactics that are producing legislative and other kinds of victories to roll back this threat.

You saw an example of this network in action in our email yesterday, which highlighted chapter leader Michael Hayutin's challenge to a public school textbook in California. You saw it in the passage of the refugee resettlement legislation in Tennessee.

We are not going to wait until, like the UK, we have sharia courts dotting the American landscape.

Talking about the threat isn't enough. Education is necessary, but it's not sufficient. We don't want to just combat radical Islam-we intend to defeat it. Strategic action is what is needed-and strategic action is what we do.

 These are just two examples of how we are honing in on the threat and developing and applying strategic action to counter the threat.

We've said this before, but it bears repeating: The bigger our national organization becomes, the bigger and more numerous the victories we will achieve.

Vision + Strategy + Organization = Victory.

Or to put it another way:

People power... with a purpose... and a plan... achieves results.

I have reviewed polling data and analyzed how our opposition, such as CAIR, is reacting to national trends. CAIR is clearly desperate as it sees America waking up. We are turning the tide.

And I am convinced that the only thing that will prevent us from prevailing over radical Islam is, to paraphrase Edmund Burke, when "good people do nothing." Brigitte Gabriel understood the power of organized, strategic action when she had a vision of an organization that is today ACT! for America.

As we are fond of saying, if everyone does a little, together we accomplish a lot. What can you do today?

U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) is planning to issue a number of subpoenas to federal officials with ties to the controversial program "Gun Runner" which was run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The chairman of the House Oversight Committee will use the power of subpoenas to learn if a federal gun-tracking program contributed to the killing of a Border Patrol agent.

"Fast and Furious" was part of the five-year-old GUNRUNNER program. It authorized local U.S. gun stores to sell THOUSANDS of semiautomatic rifles to suspected and known straw-purchasers for Mexican drug cartels.

The move by Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, comes on the tail end of a series of interviews with government officials and witnesses that the panel's investigators conducted last month. Sources said the interviews produced a lot of new evidence and information regarding who gave the ultimate go-ahead for ATF's "Fast and Furious" operation!

 In the meantime, MORE and MORE killings have been linked to the "GUNRUNNER" project.

By allowing people to illegally purchase large quantities of the weapons from gun dealers, officials hoped to trace the firearms to the upper ranks of the drug cartels and prosecute them. But ATF whistleblowers allege that officials lost track of guns. Some even point to the very, very top!

The strong possibility that these guns are linked to Fast and Furious is apparently causing concerns at ATF headquarters, where both former Phoenix, AZ Special Agent in Charge William Newell and Assistant Special Agent in Charge George Gillett - the latter who has been cooperating with the Gunrunner investigations and has retained legal counsel - have been reassigned. The Phoenix field office has gone through a major shuffle with new personnel taking charge.

Two of the guns from the operation were found at the scene of an Arizona gun battle in December between U.S. law enforcement and members of a drug gang. The firefight killed Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, but officials have not revealed whether the bullet that struck him came from the guns the ATF was supposed to be tracking!

According to CBS News on Monday, guns from the Fast and Furious operation might have been used in an attack on a Mexican government helicopter that was grounded after being fired upon by suspected members of a drug cartel two weeks ago.

Rep. Issa has been critical of the Department of Justice (DOJ), which oversees the ATF, for not turning over all of the documents he has requested and not making available all of the officials he has wanted to interview, sometimes citing ongoing gun-tracking investigations and prosecutions.

The subpoenas, which Issa said will be issued to key Washington-based government officials with ties to the operation, are slated to serve as a launching pad for a new series of hearings on the matter.

In an interview on FOX NEWS this past Sunday, Rep. Issa said: "We have a slew of subpoenas we expect to be issuing for people here in Washington. What we have not gotten one bit of is - here in Washington, far away from the actual investigation and prosecutions that they seem to be using as a façade to protect them - here in Washington, they are not making one agent available, one hierarchy available, and we will be issuing subpoenas because we have to!"

MONDAY, JUNE 13, 2011, the committee is scheduled to hold a hearing titled "Obstruction of Justice. Does the Justice Department Have to Respond to Lawfully Issued and Valid Congressional Subpoena?" Committee aides have not yet released a witness list, but they have confirmed that this was the first of several hearings on the matter of STONEWALLING!

Issa and U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) have led the congressional hunt for more information about the ATF operation and its approval. The lawmakers have said repeatedly that they are being "stonewalled" by DOJ.

U.S. Senator Grassley, who does not have the same subpoena power as Issa-has vowed to hold up President Obama's nominations in the Senate until he gets the documents and information that he has requested on the operation.

 More and more, the fingers of guilt point to officials high up in the Obama administration. Across-the-board stonewalling by government agencies is hindering the final investigation, including the Attorney General. Of course this does not surprise me, as the Obama administration is the most anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment administration in recent memory!

What started out as an "innocent" program run by the ATF to allow guns purchased in the United States to be smuggled into Mexico for the purpose of TRACKING THEM to high-ranking members of Mexican drug cartels. Has turned into a genuine cover-up, involved many hundreds of weapons unaccounted for by the ATF.

Once upon a time opposition to illegal immigration was championed by a few special interest groups and outspoken leaders like Tom Tancredo and Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Not so anymore. Regular sheriffs like Arizona's Paul Babeu of Pinal County and Larry Dever of Cochise County are speaking up loudly about their frustrations dealing with it.

The Obama administration gets credit for mainstreaming the issue. Obama moved the country backwards on fixing the problem by suing Arizona over SB 1070 and decreasing funding for enforcement. One federal prosecutor in Texas refuses to prosecute illegal immigrants until they have been arrested seven times. He will not prosecute them with a felony until they have been caught 14 times. Even more egregiously, he does not prosecute coyotes smuggling fewer than six illegal immigrants. These policies are in place throughout Texas.

Obama Proclaims June 'Gender Confusion' Month

AKA: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month

"Gay" flag flies at the Fed

It is said that Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Barack Hussein Obama, likewise, has certainly been occupying himself with frivolity whilst the U.S. economy edges closer to collapse.

The community-organizer-in-chief took time out from his busy Memorial Day golfing schedule to proclaim June "National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month," as he has done annually since his election. "The story of America's LGBT community is the story of our fathers and sons, our mothers and daughters, and our friends and neighbors who continue the task of making our country a more perfect Union," said Obama, who apparently comes from both an odd family and neighborhood. He instructed all Americans to "rededicate ourselves to the pursuit of equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity."

That instruction prompted support from legions of his Socialist Bourgeoisie, including, for example, those at the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, who, as the central government freefalls toward insolvency, ordered the "gay pride" flag flown with our national flag.

Fed spokesman Jim Strader claimed, "It represents the bank's commitment to diversity and inclusion." The bank's chief operating officer Sally Green added, "We strongly support a diverse and inclusive culture at the Richmond Fed and ... the 'pride' flag as an example of our commitment to the values of acceptance and inclusion."

Meanwhile, the economy continues to deteriorate. "We don't know yet what happened in terms of this particular blip," said Obama, referring to a shocking May jobs report that saw a paltry 54,000 new jobs created and the nation's unemployment rate increase to 9.1 percent. That "blip" portends the sinking of the ship, but at least Obama and his flock of gender-confused sycophants can take comfort in knowing that our nation will have a "diverse and inclusive culture" when its economy collapses.

For all the attention the gender-challenged draw, one would think that they represent at least as large a constituency as the Democrat Party's most devoted dependency -- blacks -- who make up about 12 percent of our population. But, despite Obama's insistence that they are "our fathers and sons, our mothers and daughters, and our friends and neighbors," according to reliable research and surveys, homosexuals compose less than 3 percent of the population. So, why all the attention?

The answer to that question is not readily available on the pages of most conservative political journals because rarely wade into the race debate. The exceptions, of course, are my conservative colleagues who happen to be black. Their skin color renders them relatively bulletproof from the Left's "racism" canard, thereby allowing them to expose Democrat "plantation politics" without undue threat to their livelihood. Rarer still are analysts who take on the LGBT agenda. Those who do will most certainly be accused of "intolerance" and chastised for their opposition to "diversity and inclusion," and their syndicators may be subject to commercial boycott (one more reason The Patriot Post does not accept advertising).

However, concerns about such accusations should not keep conservatives from "outing" the truth, so call me what you will -- preferably after reading Gender Disorientation Pathology, my summary of how we should respond to the homosexual agenda.

Clearly, the "homosexual normalization" is a high priority for the Left, and they are focusing most of their energy on two fields of opportunity. The first is overturning federal laws which "discriminate against gays," beginning with proscriptions concerning homosexuals in our military service branches.

Until 1993, when Bill Clinton instituted the so-called "don't ask, don't tell" policy giving legal standing to homosexuals in our military and intelligence institutions, those organizations maintained long-standing moratoriums prohibiting homosexual employment because they posed a high risk of compromise, and moreover because of the obvious degradation of morale associated with homosexuals in military ranks. However, in 2008, Obama made it a "top priority" of his administration to repeal DADT and allow open homosexual access to any and all military operations.

In 2010, the United States suffered the largest intelligence compromise in history, by a disgruntled homosexual, Army PFC Bradley Manning. Devastated over news that his "partner" was leaving him, Manning attempted to win back his boyfriend's affections by "heroically" stealing, according to allegations, some 500,000 classified documents and communiqués from the government's SIPRNet and JWICS intelligence sharing networks. He then provided them to WikiLeaks for publication. Manning is now in lockdown at Ft. Leavenworth, charged with "aiding and abetting the enemy," which is a capital offense.

Obama's response? He has had scant to say about Manning's treason, and just months after Manning's arrest, and before Democrat congressional ranks were decimated by incoming Republicans from the midterm election, Obama had Democrats in Congress push through "Do Ask, Do Tell" legislation, which ended any proscription against homosexuals in the military.

This will open the gate for the other primary "gay agenda" items, such as legal recognition of their partners for insurance and other financial benefits. Obama already ordered Navy chaplains to perform same-sex unions, but Congress pulled the reigns back on that maneuver, reminding Obama that the Defense of Marriage Act is still intact.

The second field of opportunity for homosexual normalization is the indoctrination of children at ever-younger ages with homosexual propaganda. The Left subscribes to the Marxist model for success: Karl Marx wrote, "The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother's care, shall be in state institutions at state expense." His student Vladimir Ilyich Lenin concurred, "Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."

They are aggressively engaged in re-education of the young, attempting to pass the "Student Non-Discrimination Act" and a myriad of other measures at the federal and state levels which force the implementation of homosexual teaching curricula in government schools.

So, why would Obama attend to the demands of a small Democrat protectorate by advocating such damaging and high profile legislation?

An indispensable common denominator upon each of these pillars is what Founder James Wilson called, "[T]hat important and respectable, though small and sometimes neglected establishment, which is denominated a family ... the principle of the community; it is that seminary, on which the commonwealth ... must ultimately depend."

Marriage is the foundation for the family. As such, it is the fundamental building block of the Republic. Thus, the Left relentlessly chips away at this institution because it inherently challenges the authority of the state.

Obama and his socialist cadres seek to establish dominion over We the People by disuniting us according to race, creed, sex, religion, ethnicity, wealth, ad infinitum, and indoctrinating us with the pretense that we must depend on Democratic Socialism for our protection. By adding "sexual orientation" to the list, they seek to undermine the fundamental building blocks of our society -- marriage and family.

The repeal of DADT was the cause célèbre for the Democrats' "gender identity" constituency, and unless it is undone by the next president and Congress, it will prove a powerful tool for the state to institutionalize the erosion of marriage and family. As for Obama's ongoing commitment to subordinate the authority of the family to the autocracy of the state, consider the length of his recent proclamations as an indication of his priorities.

In the last month, Obama's presidential proclamations included Military Spouse Appreciation Day (502 words), National Day of Prayer (546 words) and Memorial Day (620 words and 18 holes).

However, Obama's Proclamation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month was 826 words, not to mention all of his other comments and the launching of the new White House website, "Winning the Future for LGBT Americans," ad nauseum.

Despite all the rhetoric, here are the quick and accurate facts about homosexuals and their behavior. There is no "gay gene," no innate trait or brain distinction between heterosexuals and homosexuals. Homosexuality is not a "civil right" as identified anywhere in our Constitution or its amendments. Homosexuals experience substantially higher instances of mental illness. Homosexuals are, in fact, implicated far more often, per-capita, than heterosexuals in cases of child sexual abuse. The number of "hate crimes" directed at individuals because of homosexual proclivity is minuscule, totaling 267 among 860,853 aggravated assaults in the FBI's most recent year of record. Homosexual orientation can change, and efforts to correct homosexual pathology are not "harmful" to the individual.

In regard to the homosexual agenda, its objectives must be understood and its actions aggressively halted.

Alabama passes tough illegal-immigration law

Advocacy groups promised to challenge the sweeping measure, which like Arizona's law also allows police to arrest anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant if the person is stopped for some other reason. Is the NRA talking out of both sides of their mouth?

As I told you last week, during Senate debate on the mis-named "Patriot Act," Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) introduced an amendment to protect gun owners' firearm purchase records from the warrant-less searches authorized by the mis-named "Patriot" Act.

That sounds like a good cause for Second Amendment groups to get behind, right?

That's why the National Association for Gun Rights, other active gun groups and Senate leaders like Jim DeMint (R-SC) and Mike Lee (R-UT), all got behind the Paul Amendment.

But not the NRA.

They criticized Senator Paul for his efforts and OPPOSED the amendment!

And they did it publicly, in a letter that gave cover to every weak-kneed and anti-gun Senator to vote against the Paul Amendment.

The NRA claimed they "could not support" an amendment which only sought to exempt firearm purchases from Patriot Act provisions.

In true Orwellian fashion, the NRA told Senators that Paul's amendment, "encourages the government to use provisions in current law that allow access to firearms records without reasonable cause, warrant, or judicial oversight of any kind."

Even a cursory review of Paul's amendment would have shown that it was written to prevent the very thing that the NRA claimed it was fostering!
 
Sen. Paul's amendment said "nothing in the USA PATRIOT Act... shall authorize the investigation or procurement of firearms records which is not authorized under chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code."

In other words, no warrant-less fishing expeditions of gun owners' records -- which is exactly what Chapter 44 of Title 18 prevents.

Think about that for a minute.

Rand Paul, champion of Second Amendment freedoms, desired to add a provision to legislation which would protect gun owners and firearms purchase records from the warrant-less searches authorized by the mis-named "Patriot" Act...

      ...and the NRA opposed it.

I would like to tell you that I think they have some sort of strategy here, but I'll be honest, I'm struggling to see what it is.

My phones here have been ringing off the hook with people calling in and asking what in the world the NRA is thinking.

And I haven't even told you the strangest part.

The day after the vote on Paul's amendment, the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action released a press release that -- you guessed it -- confirmed Senator Paul's concerns regarding Federal law enforcement agencies targeting law-abiding American gun owners.

They reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the ATF have been circulating flyers demanding gun shops report "suspicious" customers to their "local Joint Terrorism Task Force."

Their criteria for what constituted a "suspicious" person?

• paying in cash instead of credit cards
• an interest in concealed weapons
• purchasing large quantities of ammunition
• traveling "great" distances to use shooting ranges
• Knowing little about firearms

Gun shops are filled with law-abiding Americans -- many of whom frown on debt and pay with cash -- who are purchasing concealed weapons for self-defense and trying to learn as much as they can about firearms.

So on one day, the NRA publicly stated that they couldn't support Rand Paul's amendment on the basis that it was unnecessary.

And on the very next day their own legislative analysis team echoed Paul's concern by stating that certain law enforcement agencies have gone "overboard" by targeting broad groups of American citizens with authorities granted by the Patriot Act.

They stated: "Since the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is responsible for enforcing federal gun laws, dealers and other federal firearm licensees typically contact that agency (or state or local police) when they encounter suspicious customers. So, it raised eyebrows when the FBI began circulating flyers in gun shops and ranges, encouraging owners of those businesses to report suspicious customers to 'your local Joint Terrorism Task Force' instead."

It is virtually certain that these same "suspicious" American citizens would then be tracked using provisions of the mis-named Patriot Act.

I cannot tell you what insider game NRA lobbyists may have thought they were playing.

What I can tell you with utmost certainty, however, is that the National Association for Gun Rights will never, ever compromise when it comes to Second Amendment freedoms. I have built this organization on that premise, and I will not back down now.

Nor will I ever.

We're not going to oppose an amendment - sponsored by a hero of Second Amendment freedoms - in order to curry favor with weak-willed leadership (of both parties). Frankly, I'd rather close our doors than play these kinds of parlor tricks.
