Quote:

"To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it."

Chinese spies are becoming the legacy of the Obama Administration

Last week brought yet another reminder of the deceitfulness of the Chinese Communists. The people Barack Obama has entrusted the fate of our nation to are stealing the design secrets of what is left of our auto manufacturing base. And all the while Obama is burrowing more and more money from our "friends" in Beijing.

A legal Chinese alien who worked for Ford from 1997 to 2007 was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison and ordered to pay a $12,500 fine upon his guilty plea to two counts of stealing trade secrets from his American employer during the decade he worked for them as a design specialist.

"Mike" Yu was taken into custody at Chicago's O'Hare airport when it was determined that he had copied 4,000 Ford design documents describing engine-transmission and electric power supply systems. Immediately after leaving Ford Yu joined Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation.

Last summer a Chinese couple was caught stealing hybrid engine ... Continue Reading:Chinese spies are becoming the legacy of the Obama Administration

Illinois' liberals solve imaginary problems rather than say "No" to unions

Two recent stories from Illinois illustrate exactly what is wrong with letting liberals run our lives.  The first involved the Illinois House passing a law to ban "artery-clogging trans fats" from foods served by restaurants. The second reveals that more than 35% of Illinois' state workers have workers' compensation claims against the state.

Coming on the heels of the Chicago schools system's nervy ban of some homemade lunches, this "trans fats" ban raises the questions: Why; and why now? Distraction from the facts seems to be the answer.

Facts these liberals don't want to admit

The City of Chicago is the White man's Detroit. If it weren't run by White Democrats it would have been allowed to collapse long ago.

In the summer of 2009 City of Chicago non union (of course) workers were involuntarily placed in a rotation which forced them to work 16 days without pay in the final six months of the ... Continue Reading:Illinois' liberals solve imaginary problems rather than say "No" to unions

U.S. Middle-East Policy in Disarray

By Rabbi Daniel M. Zucker, AMERICAN THINKER

Apparently Washington, D.C. has only recently come to realize that U.S.-Middle East policy is in tatters. The degree of disarray still seems to be hidden from those charged with administering such a policy: the State Department. Neither the State Department nor any of our intelligence agencies seem to have had any inkling of an idea that the forces of revolt and revolution would break out in Arab North Africa and the Middle East. Each successive revolt caught our government by surprise: first in Tunisia, then in Egypt, and finally in Libya. After these revolutions, we again were taken by surprise at revolts in Yemen, Bahrain, and now Syria. All of these revolts follow some eighteen months after the smothered youth revolt in Iran, where our government did almost nothing to aid the young Iranians attempting to remove the tyrannical clerical rule of the Islamic extremist regime.

US-Israel Ties: A Two Way Street Mutually-Beneficial Relationship

If Israel were merely the most effective battle-tested laboratory available to the USA, the source for over 600 modifications of the F-16, and thousands of cutting-edge modifications in hundreds additional US military systems, enhancing US national security, while providing the US defense industries a unique mega-billion dollars competitive edge in the global market, expanding US employment, research & development and export infrastructures - Da'ye'nu (it would have sufficed to crown Israel as a unique two-way-street ally of the USA);

FEC Investigators Digging Into Obama's 2008 Campaign

Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs, first raised the question of where Obama's campaign contritutions were coming from. And she did so even before he won the election. She also included it in her book The Post American President. In a current post she sets out the full background to enquiry.

NEWSMAX

Barack Obama raised a record-shattering $750 million on his way to winning the 2008 presidential election. But that stunning flood of cash has triggered an investigation by the Federal Election Commission, which is taking a detailed look at the campaign's records and transactions.

According to Roll Call, the audit of Obama's financial records began Barack Obama, Federal Election Commission, Investigation, 2008 Presidential Electiontwo years ago. It was not required by law, since the Obama campaign did not accept federal matching funds and funded itself entirely with private donations. But allegations of improper contributions, coupled with the FEC's suspicions of certain transactions, led to the probe.

RedState Morning Briefing

For April 19, 2011

1. Barack Obama Is Directly To Blame For the S&P Downgrade

If you have been away for the past twenty-four hours, you missed that for the first time since its founding in 1941, Standards and Poor downgraded our nation's credit outlook. S&P believes there is a 33% change it will downgrade the nation's AAA credit rating in the next two years.

For the past year, Democrats have spent freely arguing that their free spending ways did not matter. In fact, Barack Obama's proposed budget for 2012 increases the national debt to 116% of gross domestic product, even while adding $2 trillion in tax increases.

It is not that budget proposal that became the straw to break the camel's back.

It was not even his trillion dollar stimulus plan or his multi-trillion dollar stimulus plan than became the straw to break the camel's back.

In fact, it was Barack Obama's disastrous speech last week that broke the camel's back.

2. I'm Supporting Adam Hasner for the Senate

There are a lot of important Senate races shaping up in 2012 and my strong fear is that many tea party activists are going to be so focused on beating Barack Obama - a worthy cause - that they are going to drop the ball on Senate races.

I have not really weighed in yet on endorsing any candidates for the United States Senate, but with an every growing pool of potential candidates in the Florida Senate race, I want to go on record now supporting Adam Hasner.

Former Senator George LeCrist, hand picked by Charlie Crist to keep his seat warm, is running as are several others. I think conservatives need to be wary of many of them and we cannot afford to take Florida for granted as a Republican state.

Adam Hasner has, I think, the best background and most conservative record to run in Florida. I hope you will join me in supporting him. We cannot afford to lose Florida to either the Democrats, or the squishy Republicans.

3. 50 Million Missing Refugees and Scientists That Cheat On Their Taxes

"In 1995 these environmental refugees totalled at least 25 million people,...

The environmental refugees total could well double by 2010 (though there is no good estimate of today's total).... When global warming takes hold, there could be as many as 200 million people overtaken by disruptions of monsoon systems and other rainfall regimes, by droughts of unprecedented severity and duration, and by sea-level rise and coastal flooding."

-Norman Myers, "ENVIRONMENTAL REFUGEES: A GROWING PHENOMENON OF THE 21ST CENTURY"

The UN hired Norman Myers to examine what impact Global Warming would have on human habitations. He came back with the paragraph I cited selections from above. That would be quite a claim. 50 Million Environmental refugees by 2010!

4. Christie Unveils Plan to Save NJ Taxpayers on Government Workers' Health Care

While private-sector workers have been paying anywhere from 20 to 30 percent of their health care costs for years, government workers have, traditionally, had better health care plans at far lesser costs-all at taxpayers' expense.

5. Too Late To Ask For A Refund, Obama Has Union Bosses & Other Lefty Loons Feeling Double Crossed

There must be some pretty cynical political strategists inside the White House who, all knowingly, believe that defecating on the deli sandwiches of the Democrats' core constituencies before 2012 is an okay thing to do because-Hey! What're they going to do?...Support the Republicans? Nevertheless, while union bosses, liberal allies and even African Americans publicly put on a happy face about President Obama, they're privately grousing over a growing concern that they may be losing the war to further fundamentally transform the nation.

Morning Bell

04/18/2011

Framing The Debt Limit Debate

In May, Congress will begin debate on our nation's debt limit. The debt limit is an alarm bell built into our nation's laws, which forces members of Congress to confront out-of-control spending when our debt reaches a certain level. Five times in the last four years, we have ignored this alarm bell. This time must be different.

It would irresponsible and reckless for them to even consider raising the limit without also enacting spending cuts and reform. The nation's credit worthiness is directly tied to our fiscal stewardship, not our desire to borrow. America would send a strong signal to global financial markets by taking prudent steps to address our out-of-control spending habits, not by blindly giving ourselves another blank check.

Will this Gillette cut a few throats at ATF?

Apr 15, 2011 06:13 am | Coach Collins

By Doug Book, staff writer

Several months ago, Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Charles Grassley began an investigation of Project Gunrunner, the disgraceful ATF practice of deliberately "walking" guns across the border and into the waiting hands of Mexican drug cartel members.

The Senator was alerted by ATF whistle blowers, outraged and fed up after weapons traced to the Project had been found at the scene of the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

And how has Acting ATF Director, Kenneth Melson (Obama stooge and vehement gun-grabber) answered Senator Grassley's requests for information about Gunrunner?  He has informed agents that they "are in no way obligated to respond" to questions from Congress.

In an FOIA acquired email to ATF Deputy Director Billy Hoover, Grassley discovered that agents were also told to "refer congressional staff who seek information...to the ATF's office of Congressional Affairs" as agents are, after all, "not authorized to disclose non-public information." (1)

Eliminating the U. S. Department of Education

American Thinker | By Frank Ryan | April 16, 2011

Cosmetic budget cuts will not solve our nation's debt woes.  Real change is required to right our county.  Waste must be identified, isolated, and eliminated.

One such change is to abolish the U.S. Department of Education.

   Read Morte . . .

Follow the "logic" of the Carolyn McCarthy  who is the probably the biggest proponent of " Gun Control" in the House. She became a Rep after a Racist, Colin  Ferguson, killed six and wounded 19 others on the Long Island RR in 1993. McCarthy's husband was fatally shot and her son was seriously wounded.

The killer Ferguson( a Black Man) came to NYC from CA, and illegally carried a gun with the intent to  avenge the political failure of the Black Mayor of NYC,David Dinkens. Ferguson systematically walked down the aisle of a moving LIRR train and shot as many white people he could. When arrested he said that he tried to kill as many white people that he could.

Ferguson was charged with murder but  NOT WITH  A HATE CRIME(another issue).

McCarthy's response. We need more Gun Control, really. One person with a carry permit could have stopped Ferguson dead in his tract.

Can someone please try to explain to me the logic of McCarthy or the voters of Nassau County who vote for her?

National Association For Gun Rights

The Brady Campaign is telling the world that you like to shoot little girls.

They want people to think that you and I spend our range time practicing to murder children.

At least that's how I understand this ad:

After I watched the latest anti-gun TV ad from Sarah Brady's group, I honestly thought it was a spoof.

Maybe the Brady Campaign should start writing for Saturday Night Live.

The reality - as you and I both know - is that they are completely serious.

They want people to believe that gun owners like you and me are cold-blooded murderers who want to shoot children.

And they are pushing this message everywhere they can.

Absolutely sickening.

But it does show me one thing, most importantly:

They're desperate.

They are willing to demonize all law-abiding gun owners by claiming they get their kicks from shooting targets that look like little girls.

This is the same group claiming they are after "reasonable" gun laws.

Does making an advertisement glorifying violence against children sound reasonable to you?

I didn't think so.

That's why I know you are smart enough to realize their backing for H.R. 308 - a ban on anything that can hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition - is but one step in their plan...

...A plan to take everything they can from you that should be protected by the Second Amendment.

Don't let their rhetoric fool you. (You can click here to watch the video.)

After you've watched the video, call your Member of Congress (202) 224-3121 and tell them to vote "NO" on H.R. 308.

 Choosey About Choice

· Tuesday, April 19, 2011

The Democratic mayor of Washington, D.C., Vincent Gray, distinguished himself last week by getting arrested in an act of "civil disobedience" reminiscent of the '60s. The mayor, six council members and more than 40 other protesters were detained by Capitol police for blocking the street to oppose the congressional budget deal that deprived D.C. of federal funds for abortions.

They were also protesting a mandate under the same agreement that revives a popular school choice program, the "Opportunity Scholarship Program," which allows poor children in failing schools an opportunity to attend schools they and their parents believe will give them the best possible education. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan had pulled the plug on the Bush-era program after pressure from the teacher's union which, in a reversal of Bush's "No Child Left Behind," behaves as if no child in a failing school should be let out.

President Whatever Finds Things Not Going His Way

· Monday, April 18, 2011

Barack Obama is a politician who likes to follow through on long-term strategies and avoid making course corrections. That's how he believes he won in 2008, and since then he's shown that he's not much into details.

So he was happy to let congressional appropriators fill in the blanks in the 2009 stimulus package, and to let congressional leaders know he would be happy whether there was or wasn't a public option in the 2010 health insurance legislation. Whatever. In the long run, the big things would work out his way.

Except right now they aren't. And his partisan and petulant speech last Wednesday is unlikely to move things in the direction he wants.

Celebrate Earth Day (April 22)

by reminding liberals of all the whacko predictions made by environmentalists in 1970, the year the event was founded: a new Ice Age (Newsweek); a world "eleven degrees colder by the year 2000" (Kenneth Watt); by 1985 air pollution to reduce the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half (Life magazine); by 1995 between 75 and 85 percent of all species to be extinct (Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson); mass starvation (Earth Day organizer Denis Hayes). Say: "Thank you, thank you, Earth Day! If those 20 million hippies hadn't taken the day off work, we'd all be dead by now!"

Glenn BeckApril 18, 2011

On Monday's Program

Happy National Charity day everybody! One step closer to collective salvation! Ok...so it's really just tax day. What, you aren't feeling charitable?

Media continues inventing new terms for 'tax increase'

ABC's Christiane Amanpour practically begged for higher taxes on "This Week" during a panel segment, but she of course did not use the term 'higher taxes' in her argument. Instead, she argued government should come up with 'revenue raising mechanisms' to fix the deficit. Thankfully, Congressman Joe Walsh was on the panel and called Amanpour and the rest of the media out for the ridiculousness and blatant hypocrisy on their overtly friendly coverage of Obama during the budget battle. Glenn has the details on where the media fell short on radio today - watch it HERE.

Bill Ayers still doesn't regret bombings, says 'every great fortune involves a great theft'

Ayers continues the rich progressive tradition of renaming things in order to make them appear not as bad as they really are. During a recent interview, he was asked once again if he had any regrets for bombing the Pentagon and other police and government targets. Ayers emphatically said 'no' and went on to explain that he didn't hurt anyone with his 'extreme acts of vandalism' towards the government. Ayers highlights the disturbing progressive attribute: the ends justifies the means. If progressives are okay with bombing to stop a war, what will they be okay with doing to stop Tea Parties and conservatives? Glenn has more including reaction to the Ayers' comment that behind every great fortune is a great theft. GlennBeck.com has the segment from radio HERE.

Will Louis Farrakhan feel the wrath of Soros?

Glenn got all kinds of heat from Soros funded groups for simply quoting Soros in his own words -- will Louis Farrakhan feel the wrath of Soros for his latest commentary about a 'little Jewish mayor' and the quote (n-word) President? No answer is necessary because it's evident Soros won't bother going after Farrakhan for his outrageous statements. Instead, he'll save his money for another phony grassroots action campaign against Glenn Beck. Glenn has the audio on radio today and reaction - get the details from GlennBeck.com!

Something missing from the office? Friday was 'National Steal from Work Day'

The media has their sites set on attacking and blaming the Tea Party for the problems and possible future problems (like the debt ceiling battle) - but they've completely ignored radicals causing actual problems. Radicals like the leftist group who organized 'Steal from Work Day' which took place on Friday. The group asked some interesting questions: Does your boss work less and take home a bigger paycheck? Is someone flying a private jet at your expense? While arriving at the exciting conclusion: You only get what you take for yourself. Solution? Take cash from the register! Embezzle! Take stuff! This is the exact mentality of the leftists over the weekend who booed the national anthem and wiped their butts with the flag. But remember, it's those conservatives who are the problem. Glenn has more details on radio today.

Glenn Beck is a thief! Or something...

A conservative web site is making the claim today that Glenn is stealing material and not crediting the real brains behind all the success. Surely, this hit piece has nothing to do with revenge -- since the accusers were the ones who produced the James O'Keefe NPR story. The same story that The Blaze correctly nuked as being wildly taken out of context. And surely it has nothing to do with the truth - considering one of the main charges in the piece is that Glenn stole from Mike Opelka, a longtime friend whom Glenn pays to create content. But why worry about the truth when there's evidence from GoDaddy.com (not kidding)? Glenn responds to the sour grapes allegations on radio today. Watch it HERE. The Blaze also has more on the story HERE.

Shocking coincidence: Just under 50% want to tax the rich more. At the SAME TIME - just under 50% pay no income taxes. Shocker! MSNBC makes the obvious point: Gee, the White House sure is going to like this poll, eh? Um - YES. Glenn's reaction and the full clip from The Blaze HERE.

World Bank: World one shock away from global crisis

As if the world isn't already in a severe economic crisis - the World Bank has announced if the world is hit by a major shocking event, big trouble lies ahead. Wow, what a bunch of fear mongers over at the World Bank, huh? What could they possibly be seeing that the rest of the media is completely oblivious to? Get the full story from The Blaze

Book review: Pointing a finger at the rogues
