The organization sponsoring Nonie Darwish's appearance is the student organization, Temple University Purpose.
On Tuesday, April 12th (7:00 PM), we are having a very important, urgent event on the-oppressive and lagging human rights-women, homosexuals, minorities, non-Islamic religions-under Shari'a Law both abroad and here in United States. We recognize that part of what adds to the conflict is that in Islamic countries there is no separation mosque and state. Of course, therein lays the problem because to question any Government entity is to question Allah and that is a crime punishable in various ways, depending on who you are. This ultimately suppresses freedom of speech and encourages and perpetuates a torturous cycle of suppression of thought and expression.
There will be a Q&A at the end.
The event is meant to raise awareness of the horrific human crimes/conditions of persons both abroad and in America under Shari'a Law.
You can also find our Facebook event page here where you can confirm and through which you can invite as many persons as you'd like: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=198614740160991
If you aren't familiar with our organization Temple University Purpose, we are an aggressive, inclusive Political/Advocacy student organization that does not subscribe to political correctness. We are neither politically nor religiously affiliated. However, one shouldn't mistake us as a neutral organization because that implies that one stands for nothing - we, however, stand for a lot. And, in this particular case, we stand for the human rights of all.
We pride ourselves in introducing conversations and creating a dialogue and debates on issues that otherwise would be omitted from the Temple University arena of thought and debate.
You can find our entire mission on our Facebook page here: tinyurl.com/tupurpose

Go See Atlas Shrugged on April 15th

As many of you know, the much-anticipated April 15th release of the Atlas Shrugged film is less than a week away! Based on Ayn Rand's classic novel which celebrates limited government, free markets and individual liberty, Atlas Shrugged is being called a made for Tea Party film.
Find a theater near you showing Atlas Shrugged!
Maybe that's because as millions of Tea Party supporters have rallied over the past two years, many have brought with them signs like those above-referencing Atlas Shrugged. As you rally on April 15th for your local Tax Day protest, I urge you to go see this important film.
The film is set in a not-so-distant future in which government has taken control of the means of production, bureaucrats have impose harmful regulations on businesses and turmoil in the Middle East has sent oil prices skyrocketing. Sound familiar?
On April 15th, Atlas Shrugged will be released in 300 theaters across America-but even more theaters are lined up if we can demonstrate our support for this film.
Click here to see where the film is playing near you! If you can't find a showing close to you, demand that the film is shown in your town.
I urge you to take your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to see this important film on April 15th. Many activists are already organizing to go see the film right now on FreedomConnector. Atlas Shrugged has the opportunity to introduce millions more around the world to the philosophy of freedom. But if that's going to happen-if this life-changing film is going to be shown in thousands of theaters-we need your help.
As thousands of liberty-minded grassroots activists gather across America for Tax Day protests on April 15th, go see Atlas Shrugged. If it's not yet being shown near you, demand that your theater shows Atlas Shrugged. Thank you for all your efforts a nd tireless support.
In Liberty,

Dear Patriot,
Thank you to all who came out for our April meeting! I am very happy to report our speakers for the evening, Peter Brimelow and Louis March, were extremely well-received.
Here at the Thomas Jefferson Club, we do not apologize for Western Civilization; further, we stand steadfast in defense of our Western identity and traditions - the backbone of our American Republic.
Peter Brimelow (http://www.vdare.com/), referencing his 1995 national best-seller, Alien Nation: Common Sense About America's Immigration Disaster, presented startling immigration statistics that have come to fruition even more rapidly than predicted in his book. Mr. Brimelow discussed two courses for America: A multicultural squabble of nationalities or a strong Republic, committed to self-government and its Western core heritage. He discussed the Political Correctness that permeates all aspects of private, public and political life - from the classroom to the boardroom, often silencing anyone who dares to speak out in defense of European-Americans and Middle America. Mr. Brimelow also discussed voting trends along demographic lines, citing national elections as far back at the 1970s thru today.
Louis March (http://www.repgov.org/) presented, "What Should Conservatives Work to Conserve," which was met with a standing ovation. Mr. March described in vivid detail what Americans have lost and yet stand to lose in the coming years and decades. He discussed the powers today that are fanatically intent on converting America from a nation of Western descent, to something entirely different. Mr. March reminded us that Western Civilization includes countless explorers, generals, pioneers and others who conquered four continents in three centuries. Our civilization includes legions of men and women who blazed the trails, sailed the seas and conquered space. And it was Westerners who first soared above the earth and delved deep beneath the ocean's surface, and even walked upon the moon.
I have never witnessed a more energized and enlightened crowd! At the conclusion of a standing ovation that lasted several minutes, the only comment from the audience was: "How do we get started!?"
A thousand mile journey begins with the first step. And the task before us now is to inspire and build. If you would like to join us in this effort, please reply to this email with your name and full contact information to include address and phone number.
I very much look forward to the future with hope and optimism, our Western forefathers (and mothers!) faced much adversity as well. It is in their spirit that we march forward.
For full coverage of both Peter Brimelow and Louis March's speech, please visit our friends at Diggers Realm: http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/003518.html. I would also like to thank RePatriot Radio and the Patriots of Lower Bucks for their support of our meeting. Photos will be up soon on the website, http://www.thomasjeffersonclub.org/.
All the best,

Two people were wounded Thursday after an anti-tank missile exploded into a bus traveling in one of the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.
Following the attack, 16 additional mortar shells were fired at Israeli towns in the western Negev, most of them hitting open areas.
Magen David Adom crew who arrived at the scene said that a 16-year-old boy was critically wounded as a result of the attack, and that the bus driver was moderately hurt by shrapnel wounds in his leg.
"The boy was lying on the ground bleeding. The bus driver was conscious and hysterical. The entire bus destroyed - it was a horrifying sight," said a member of the rescue service.
MDA said that the rescue services resuscitated the boy and later transferred him to the hospital. MDA also said the bus was nearly empty after dropping off school children and was carrying only the driver and the 16-year-old boy at the time of the attack.
Residents of communities near the site of attack were...

Barack Obama appears at hate group that inspired arson and murder at a Jewish-owned store by Bill Levinson New Tone? President Obama Kisses Sharpton's Ring reports, President Obama, embroiled in a furious battle over the federal budget, swept into New York last night for a star-studded celebration of the Rev. Al Sharpton's National Action Network and gave the beaming civil-rights leader a rousing slap on the back. Let's review the background of Al Sharpton and the National Action Network: the same racist and anti-Semitic hate group that inspired a deranged individual to set fire to a Jewish-owned store and kill seven of its employees. Per "Democrats Embrace 'Impresario of Hatred' by Fred Siegel" (Wall Street Journal, no longer online) It would have taken no great effort for the reporters covering the Apollo debate to have walked across 125th Street from the theater to visit Freddy's Fashion Mart, where in 1995 eight... Gentlemen,
The National Jewish Democratic Council is on record (http://www.njdc.org/media/entry/njdc_decries_mitt_romneys_embrace_of_henry_ford) as condemning Mitt Romney's appearance at the Henry Ford Museum because of Ford's publication of "The International Jew." Henry Ford has been dead for more than 60 years, and he retracted and repudiated "The International Jew" before he died. This means that NJDC has set a red line at association with a dead EX-anti-Semite. We are therefore confident that NJDC will take prompt public exception to Barack Obama's multiple appearances, the most recent on April 6 2011, with a live and unrepentant one.

Anti-Semitic TREIF alert: Sharpton and Obama
The repercussions of a UN recognition of Palestine
By Ted Belman
The PA has been hard at work of late lining up votes in the UNGA for the recognition of the state of Palestine with pre '67 borders with the eastern part of Jerusalem as its capital.
They intend to use the "Uniting for Peace" procedure to avoid a possible UNSC veto regardless of whether the procedure is legal. (See; The UN Charter Cannot Support GA Resolution 377). Were they to get such recognition the repercussions would be significant.
Alan Baker, who was legal counsel for Israel in the drafting of the Oslo Accords and is currently associated with the Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs, recently published The Palestinian UN Gamble - Irresponsible and Ill-Advised. He summarized his article as follows

The case for retaking Gaza
By Ted Belman
The diplomatic chapter of the coalition agreement asserts that "the government will work determinedly and regularly against terror groups threatening Israel and do everything needed in order to eradicate them. A strategic target for the State of Israel would be the toppling of Hamas' rule in Gaza."
FM Leiberman intends to demand it. I think it should be done now.

The moment has come.
Constitutional attorney Bruce Fein drafted Articles of Impeachment that are being circulated in the House of Representatives right now. Please read every line of these Articles of Impeachment. Very thorough research and many damning quotes build a very strong case.
The essential points of this constitutionally-mandated impeachment of Barry Soetoro, a/k/a Barack Hussein Obama, are as follows:
1) Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution states that only Congress can declare war on another country.
2) Obama declared war, and then is actually engaging in war, against Libya, (1) without Congressional approval or even consultation; (2) Libya has not declared war on the United States; and (3) Obama is following orders from the United Nations to engage in war, rather than Congress and the American people.
3) Obama consulted only with the Arab League and the United Nations before conducting and engaging war against Libya, not the U.S. Congress.
4) Obama has no authority under the Constitution, or even the War Powers Act, to declare and engage in war against another country.
5) The War Powers Act, even if constitutional (which many say is not) allows a president to engage in military actions against another country only if that country has attacked the United States, if that foreign country is an imminent threat to attack the United States, or if Congress has authorized the president to take military action. None of those three conditions are present. Obama and his adminstration admit that.
Instead, Obama's adminstration has stated that Libya is not a threat to the US and that the reason Obama has declared and conducted war against Libya is to ensure that the United Nations has "credibility."
(6) Barry Soetoro, a/k/a Obama, has committed "other high crimes and misdemeanors" and possibly treason and therefore must be impeached.
7) If Congress fails to act and impeach Obama then he has effectively annulled the Constitution and declared himself dictator.
Get educated and wake up.
Please carefully read these Articles of Impeachment in the link below. There is outstanding research and many damning quotes in these Articles of Impeachment.
Obama is testing how far he can go in ignoring the Constitution to usurp power and declare himself dictator.
Please forward this link to your federal Representative and Senators and to your state representatives.
It is only with strong voices and an outcry for action that justice can be done. There is no limit to the unconstitutional actions that Obama will take if Congress fails to act on this blatant disregard for the United States Constitution, United States law, and our representative system of checks and balances.

THIS ARTICLE IS ENTIRELY SPECULATIVE BUT THE RESEMBLANCE IS REMARKABLE
By Ted Belman (originally posted in Nov '08)
While this may sound way out or perhaps like the essence of a John Le Carre novel, it is not.
Israel Insider has a mind blowing article which presents an alternate reality obtained from a particular source. Here's a taste,
"There is no evidence Ann Dunham had even met Obama Senior in or around November 1960, the alleged time of conception, indeed it is not even clear Obama was in Honolulu at that time, although he may have been. Ann Dunham was only 17 and although she might have been in Honolulu the timing is tight." "More to the point, she was in neither of the medical centers put forward by the Obama campaign (question: why do they not know in which hospital he was born?) on August 4th, nor are there medical records to back up the claimed birth, nor has an attending physician been named. I've heard of births with the father absent, births with the mother absent a bit trickier."
"There are said to be photos of Ann Dunham on Waikiki Beach taken in or about July 1961, when she is supposed to have been in her third trimester, in a bikini, taken by a fellow female student. AD is clearly not pregnant. Media have not yet talked to fellow students, but it can't be long. There are bound to be other photos of AD in existence taken during the alleged 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Obama campaign are terrified some one will press for her medical records, which have been accessed by CIA.". GO HERE: |

Obama's dozens of Social Security Numbers

By Suzanne Eovaldi, staff writer
Discrepancies in Barack Obama's history "that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President" have been accepted "quietly" for study by the U.S, Supreme Court, according to an Email this web site received just this week.
The memo which goes on to refer to "possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii," is quite similar to an investigation coachisright.com posted on May 16, 2010.
According to a search done by former British police detective Neil Sankey, now a U.S. citizen and a licensed private investigator in Los Angeles, Barack Obama reportedly has 27 different social security numbers under 21 different personal and/or familial name variations in 22 different states plus the District of Columbia.
Along with PI Susan Daniels, Sankey generated a large social security public data base in his lengthy research project, titled "List of Properties associated with Barack Obama and his family." ... Continue Reading:Obama's dozens of Social Security Numbers

RedState Morning Briefing
For April 11, 2011
It's Now Or Never
On Friday the Republicans and Democrats agreed to cut just under four days worth of spending out of the federal budget, or only a few tenths, if that, off the budget deficit.
Friends, our economic liberty is being diminished and it is both parties doing it. It's now or never - if you want to find out how our economic liberty is being diminished and what you can do to restore it, you need to attend Hillsdale College's free townhall this week.
It starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011. You can watch all or part of it from the comfort of your own home. Go here right now and register. Time is running out. It is now or never to save the Republic. Find out how to do your part.
1. The Compromise
Friday night the Republicans and Democrats reached a deal to avoid a government shutdown. The Republicans had promised $100 billion in cuts. They back pedaled to $61 billion in cuts. They have actually agreed to $38.5 billion in cuts, or about four days worth of spending by the federal government.
Many of the conservatives who booed them for going from $100 billion to $61 billion are now ready to dip John Boehner in bronze and champion him as the second coming of Ronald Reagan.
The most depressing bit of all of this is how quickly conservative pundits who promised they were to going to throw off the shackles of fidelity to the Republican Party after Bush and become again true conservative warriors for freedom have descended, automaton like, into guttural cheerleading for a Republican Party that just went from $100 billion in promised cuts to a third of that in actual cuts while selling out the unborn for roughly $1000 per murdered child assuming reports are true that they got the Democrats to increase cuts $1 billion in exchange for dropping the defunding of Planned Parenthood.
God knows if there is one lesson for the Republican leaders in this, it is that they can promise the moon, deliver dirt, and the sycophantic conservative media will pop fireworks, fly American flags, and proclaim that dirt the second coming of Jesus Christ.
It's embarrassing really. The deal is not terrible, but it is not nearly as good as some would have you believe. For starters, that $38.5 billion is total for the year - not an additional cut on top of what was already cut. Let's review the good and the bad.
2. Ezra Klein Supports Killing Black Babies
What's wrong with you, bitter clingers? Don't you realize that a dead child is a cheap child? I mean, all dead babies cost is the funds to suck or cut them mercilessly from their mother's womb. Presto! No more pesky expenses of a living child.
Ezra Klein, writing at the Washington Post, actually proffers that argument in favor of taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood; that abortions are cheaper for the government than having an "unintended pregnancy". (That's their euphemism for unborn baby killed by abortion.) His article is filled with predictable talking points, all easily disproved - the SBA List has already done so here. Setting the horrid spin aside, his concluding paragraph is truly vile.
3. It's Pretty Much Our Own Fault.
Any honest reckoning of the budget deal the House GOP appears to have reached must view it as a result of negotiations in which one side - the Democrats - believed they had the upper hand, and the other - the GOP - agreed. From the start, the brain trust that nominally holds the majority in the House made clear that they would brutally knife their own mothers to avoid a shutdown, because the memory of the last is burned into their pathetic neurons for all of time, and they believe they'll suffer the way the last Republican majority did. I don't believe that's an accurate assessment of the likely fallout of the shutdown the submorons on the Hill clearly felt they needed to avoid, and I'll discuss that, but we all need to remember: This is our fault, yours and mine, and every activist's and voter's who helped these clowns get elected.
That's sort of counterintuitive, isn't it? It isn't, if you think about it.
4. Republican "Austerity"
o, let me get this straight...
After all the back and forth, pledges, promises, tough fiscal talk and discussions of shutdown... Republicans have agreed to pass another short term CR with a few billion dollars in cuts - all being jammed through tonight by voice vote and basically sight-unseen (classic Washington transparency). This to get us to next week.
Then, Republicans are likely going to cut a deal for something around $40 billion max (likely upper-30's) of cuts, and not uphold their own pledge to cut $100 billion (much less the smaller amount of $61 billion originally offered), and then fail to draw even the faintest line in the sand on policies (so-called "riders") of any significance, such as federal funding of Planned Parenthood (i.e. tax dollars used to support the death of hundreds of thousands of babies annually) or Obamacare.
Oh sure, Republican leadership will hide behind some symbolic votes in the Senate (which can easily be gained through any real effort anyway) and behind supposedly "significant" cuts of $39 billion, or some such.
Keep in mind that our national deficit - not debt, mind you, but annual deficit - this year alone will surpass $1.5 Trillion, and thus, the $39 billion in cuts represents well less than 3% of the hole we are digging...
5. When Will the Real Fight Finally Commence?
ver the weekend, Speaker John Boehner showed that he is even more conservative than the Tea Party. While the petulant rubes in the Tea Party were credulously focusing on the 'small potatoes' of the 2011 budget, Boehner wisely decided to proceed to the real fight; the debt ceiling and the FY 2012 budget. In the process, he even secured $38 billion, or 1%, in cuts from this year's budget, along with the funding for a D.C. voucher program.
In addition to being an intrepid conservative and a tenacious negotiator, Boehner is also a skilled mathematician. He knew from the very beginning that 38 billion is more than half way between 0 and 61 billion. Game over, Democrats lose! Even though half of the alleged cuts might comprise of Democrat cuts in mandatory spending, and another $10 billion might include the previous CR cuts, those are just minor points.
6. Unions & Racism: An Age-Old, Institutional Problem Continues Unabated
It is rather ironic that, last week, union bosses used the anniversary Rev. Martin Luther King's assassination to try to drum up support for the union cause. You see, even after all these years, racism and discrimination within the walls of the House of Labor is still very real. As noted by UnionFacts.com, since 2000, there have been over 4,200 complaints filed against unions for racial discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission. In some cities, it is a bigger problem than in others. However, the one area where union racism seems to rear its ugly head the most often is with the construction trade unions, where African Americans are often excluded from work.
7. Appeals Court Approves of Union Fining Member for Reporting Safety Violation
It should come as no shock that unions have rules. They are usually a codified set of rules and union members are expected to abide by those rules. Almost always, a union's rules are spelled out in the union's constitution. If a member violates a union rule, a union has the legal right to place that member on trial (a union trial). If the member is found guilty at the union trial, the union has the right to impose fines, suspend or even expel the member.
Some of the more well-known rules are don't cross a picket line or don't be disloyal to the union. However, there are some lesser known union rules that could cause members to be tried by their union. For example, showing up at a union meeting intoxicated, or trying to kick a union out of the workplace (that's disloyal), or even wronging a fellow member are all examples of rules that are in many union constitutions. And, let there be no mistake, unions do enforce their rules and fine their members.

Hello,
As is in previous discussions, in Harrisburg, the panel on SB1 was one sided and my questions on index cards are ignored. I expect this type of political BS in a political venue, BUT NOT AT A CONSERVATIVE CONFERENCE. This is a deceptive ploy by the organizers to mislead Conservatives that are not up to date on SB1 into believing that Tea Parties Universally embrace the Bill. Fair and balanced was thrown out the window. Of course a lengthy comment by an audience member that has a History of accusing people who object to SB1 as Racist was read out in full by the so-called MODERATOR, until the audience revolted.
Supporters of this bill seem to have accepted the Pelosian Doctrine( Vote for the Bill to see what's in it) and say that the Bill will be amended to satisfy your concerns.
It is my understanding that vast majority of Tea Party members do not support SB1 and that my personal discussions with Tea Party members in the Philadelphia, Quakertown, Doylestown and Allentown areas confirms this.
How can we best address this to the Conference organizers to express our indignation, so that similar deceptive action cannot be repeated in the future?
Respectfully ,
Carlo Grilletto

Obama, Not GOP, Will Shut Down Government
The left-wing media continues to spin the impending government shutdown as a GOP-engineered train wreck. I almost threw my shoes at the TV this morning as ABC tried to tell Americans that Republicans were prepared to shut down the government and deny pay to our troops just to defund Planned Parenthood. The truth is the exact opposite!
Yesterday, the Republican-led House passed a bill to keep the government open one more week. More importantly, the bill fully funds the Pentagon through the rest of the 2011 fiscal year! But President Obama has threatened to veto the bill.
Why? Because he and his left-wing allies are so committed to the radical pro-abortion agenda that they are willing to shut down the government and deny pay to our soldiers in order to guarantee that your hard-earned tax dollars keep flowing for someone else's abortion.
We wouldn't be in this mess today if Democrats hadn't failed to pass a budget last year when they had total control of Congress and the White House. But now that Republicans in the House are serious about cutting spending, Obama and congressional Democrats are holding our soldiers hostage to more spending for abortions!
In a briefing to reporters this afternoon, Speaker John Boehner held his ground, saying, "We have no interest in shutting down the government. That's why we sent the troop funding bill over to the Senate yesterday... But we're not going to roll over and sell out the American people like it's been done time and time again here in Washington. When we say we're serious about cutting spending, we're damn serious about it."
Please share this message with friends and family members so they will understand exactly what is going on in Washington. They are not getting the facts from the "mainstream" media.
Where's The Civility Now?
It wasn't that long ago when Democrats and media pundits, led by Barack Obama, were lecturing the rest of us to tone down our rhetoric and restore civility in public discourse. They clearly weren't listening to themselves. On MSNBC last night Jesse Jackson compared the current budget debate to the Civil War. I'm not making this up! Jackson said:
"This is a Civil War fight... This is the 150th anniversary of the 1861 Civil War. Now those who are determined to shut the federal government down to make their point -- their ideological-religious point. ...You have those who believe in states' rights and those who believe in a more perfect union. States' right are anti-civil rights, anti-workers' right to bargain, anti-social justice, pro-rich and significantly insensitive to poor people. That was the great divide 150 years ago and it's the great divide today in the ideological sense."
On the Senate floor this morning, Harry Reid said, "Republicans want to shut down the government because they think there's nothing more important than keeping women from getting cancer screenings." That sounds horrible -- unless you know the facts. Once again Reid is trying to defend taxpayer-funding of Planned Parenthood, which claims that it performs mammograms. Watch this video to learn the truth.
Not to be outdone by Reid, Nancy Pelosi called Republican efforts to cut spending, "a war on women." And Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton of Washington, D.C., "elevated" the conversation by saying that a potential government shutdown is "the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians."
Speaking Of Bombings...
The situation in Libya has become increasingly chaotic. A NATO bombing raid yesterday killed 13 rebel fighters. Somehow the rebels managed to seize a few tanks and heavy vehicles, and NATO aircraft mistook them for Qadhafi's forces.
Of course "friendly fire" is an unfortunate consequence of war, but the rebels are growing increasingly frustrated with NATO. British reporters at a hospital in Ajdabiya interviewed several rebel fighters. One of them, Yassim Muttar, said, "Why did they do this? Do they want Qadhafi to win?" Salem Mislat said, "NATO are liars. They are siding with Qadhafi."
Yesterday, Army General Carter Ham testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Gen. Ham, who led U.S. forces in Libya until NATO took over, offered a bleak assessment of the situation. According to CBS News, Ham said that "the operation was largely stalemated now and was more likely to remain that way since America has transferred control to NATO."
President Obama committed U.S. military power and our national prestige to this mission and said repeatedly that Qadhafi must go. If Qadhafi remains in power, the U.S. will look weak and ineffective. But it appears some in the region have already reached that conclusion.
From Baghdad this week, NBC's Tom Brokaw reported this shocking revelation: "...the Saudis are so unhappy with the Obama administration ... that [they] sent high level emissaries to China and Russia to tell those two countries that Saudi Arabia now is prepared to do more business with them."
A Big Win In Wisconsin
There is great news out of Wisconsin today. Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus apologized to voters yesterday after admitting that human error failed to include the results of more than 14,000 ballots from the city of Brookfield, Wisconsin, a heavily Republican area. Once those results were added to official totals, conservative Justice David Prosser took the lead by more than 7,000 votes.
The results are too big of an error to be voter fraud by conservatives, and Ramona Kitzinger, a Democrat canvasser in Waukesha County vouched for the totals at a press conference yesterday evening. Kitzinger said, "We went over everything and made sure the numbers jibed up and they did. We're satisfied that it's correct."
The left is in full-throated attack mode this morning. Watch how vehement the attempt is to smear and vilify Kathy Nickolaus. It is amazing how the left reacts to a simple mistake when it is on the losing end. Yet conservatives routinely see close elections slip away when a handful of ballots are mysteriously found in the trunks of cars or behind locked doors.
By the way, Wisconsin is notorious for election shenanigans, but always from the left, which you can read about here. In fact, even basic record keeping was so bad that a 2008 report by the Milwaukee Police Department's Special Investigative Unit on voter fraud in the 2004 election stated: "The Milwaukee Election Commission, through their ineptitude, raised enough reasonable doubt to prevent any further criminal prosecution."
I have to admit, I was disturbed by the initial results this week when it looked like the left had won. But it seems Wisconsin taxpayers have had enough. Turnout in this week's election was twice what was expected. The unions and their left-wing allies pulled out all the stops, and so too did grassroots conservatives. I'm pleased to report that CWF played a role in conservative voter turnout efforts.
While I'm thrilled Prosser won, the close results reflect how narrowly divided the country is today. It is a reminder that we can still prevail, but we must take nothing for granted.
Here is another timely reminder: If you watched the scenes at the state capitol and the media's coverage, you would have thought that every citizen was furious with Gov. Walker and the GOP legislators. But it is the same old story: The left bussed in liberal activists from other states and left-wing students from the college campuses. Meanwhile, the silent majority of conservatives, moderates, independents and taxpayers are busy at work. The left is good at making noise and getting noticed. Whatever happens in the days ahead, we can't let that intimidate us.

After Ryan's leap, a rush of deficit demagoguery
In 1983, the British Labor Party under the hard-left Michael Foot issued a 700-page manifesto so radical that one colleague called it "the longest suicide note in history." House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan has just released a recklessly bold, 73-page, 10-year budget plan. At 37 footnotes, it might be the most annotated suicide note in history.
That depends on whether (a) President Obama counters with a deficit- reduction plan of equal seriousness, rather than just demagoguing the Ryan plan till next Election Day, (b) there are any Republicans beyond the measured, super-wonky Ryan who can explain and defend a plan of such daunting scope and complexity, and (c) Americans are serious people.

Nero Obama fiddling while our economy burns
Apr 08, 2011 07:31 am | Coach Collins
By Kevin "Coach" Collins
The headlines bring us serious and distressful news about the price of gas. They tell us we will be paying $5.00 or more for gas this summer. They tell us the chances of driving to a get-away spot to take a break from the daily struggles of feeding and caring for our families are disappearing.
But the headlines also tell us the feckless ineffective pretender in the White House forced on us by a collection of the half witted and greedy is going on vacation AGAIN because he needs a break from destroying our country.
Nothing seems to deter Barack Obama from partying. So with our national government about to be shut down (not a bad thing to be sure) and a question hanging in the air about whether that will lead to our military being stiffed on payday, "Nero" Obama has once again packed his fiddle and is preparing to go on a "family vacation" to Colonial ... In Memory of Charlton Heston:
Fighting the Culture War in America
A cultural war is raging across our land-storming our values, assaulting our freedoms, killing our self-confidence in who we are and what we believe. (Mr. Heston then asked those present who owned a gun to raise their hand.)
I wonder how many of you own guns but chose not to raise your hand? How many of you considered revealing your conviction about a constitutional right, but then though better of it?
If so, you are a victim of the culture war being waged against traditional American freedom of beliefs and ideas. You have been assaulted and robbed of the courage of your convictions. Your pride in who you are and what you believe in has been ridiculed, ransacked, and plundered! It may be a war without a bullet or bloodshed, but with just as much liberty lost: You and your country are less free!

Budget Agreement & Krauthammer
Disappointing Budget Agreement
Our Republican leaders negotiated an "historic" budget agreement that cuts $38.5 billion in spending in one fiscal year, yet in just the 7 days before the agreement, our federal debt increased by $54.1 billion. Be assured, without our calls to Speaker Boehner, the cuts would have been much less.
This continuing debt spiral is unacceptable, but the unfortunate facts are that the "looters" control two of the three arms of government that are necessary to significantly alter our nation and return us to a path to prosperity. The key to this change continues to be a focus on the upcoming elections in 2012. In Pennsylvania that means:
- Replacing Bob Casey in the Senate with a true limited government supporter
- House - Maintain those gains made in 2010 and add at least two more seats
- White House - Support a winnable fiscal conservative in the primary, not "the next guy in line"
Get geared up and pumped to make real change in 2012.
Charles Krauthammer - GOP should emphasize substance over style by Gordon Tomb (PA Coalition Director of Communication)
Charles Krauthammer advises Republicans to emphasize the ability to explain conservative fiscal solutions over charisma in picking a candidate for the 2012 presidential election.
.
Without endorsing a candidate as he spoke to 700 conservatives gathered at a Pennsylvania Leadership Conference dinner, Krauthammer named two politicians who would meet the criteria he listed: Gov. Mitch Daniels of Indiana and Tim Pawlenty, former governor of Minnesota.
Neither has the personal nor political baggage that would interfere with the delivery of their message, said Krauthammer, a Pulitzer Prize winning conservative writer and commentator who appears regularly on Fox News.
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, would have to explain the legacy of an Obamacare-style health care system enacted in Massachusetts when he was governor, Krauthammer said.
Asked about U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Krauthammer said he could support either. He described Ryan's federal budget proposal as the "boldest, most courageous rethinking of the American welfare state."
The current political debate, said Krauthammer, is over "the nature of the social contract in the United States...We're debating about who we are as a people."
There are, he said, two distinct outcomes to the 2012 election: "One leads to Greece, Ireland and Portugal, and the other leads to the restoration of America."

Commander-in-Chief Turns His Back on America's Military
The American military is engaged in multiple conflicts and humanitarian missions around the world, yet President Obama promised to veto legislation funding the troops for the remainder of 2011. This is a reprehensible political stunt, and it comes at the expense of our servicemen and women and the families they support.
Yesterday, as efforts to resolve the debate on 2011 government funding continued, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Il.) introduced yet another temporary bill designed to keep the government operating for one more week during negotiations, and in this case, ensure the military portion of the budget is appropriated to eliminate the economic uncertainty facing our troops.

This is the first in depth interview with Karen Brown. The endorsement demonstrates how intent Meehan and Canuso are to retain power even at the expense of the Statewide party. Philadelphia could do worse than elect an independent, good government Democrat who can count. Balancing the Philadelphia books and straightening out the fisc are priorities.
Karen Brown Activist Democrat Turned Republican Endorsed by Philadelphia Republican City Committee
Democrat Turned Republican Enters Mayoral Race
By JAMES FOSTER Publisher April 7, 2011
Many thought that the run up to the mayor's race this year would be a ho-hum experience. Unlike four years ago, no serious challenges came forth in the Democratic primary, and then there was Milton Street, the always-controversial brother of former Mayor John Street, and now the one with the first ballot position.
Odd as that late entry was, it may be topped by an unexpected turn of events after a long term Democratic activist and city staffer with strong ties to key officials and unions walked out of a City Council race at the 11th hour. It's where she walked to that no one saw coming.
Karen Brown, previously announced candidate for the seat being vacated by Frank DiCiccio in the 1st District, and simultaneously an at-large seat, stated she became outraged at the lack of support from Democratic officials who she believed would support her reform approach to city government, and bolted the party. Immediately welcomed by Michael Meehan and Vito Canuso, power brokers of the minority Republicans, she is now the endorsed candidate of that party, and the first woman in Philadelphia to run for this office from a major political organization.
In an interview at Ms. Brown's favorite South Philadelphia diner last week, she presented an aggressive agenda designed, she said, to bring transparency and competence to Philadelphia government. She wants to throw open the doors to investigative tools and order a full 12-year audit of all city departments as soon as she is elected.
Candidate Brown, a South Philadelphia Democratic committee person, was born in that community and has lived and worked in this city all her life.
Her career includes education at local schools and universities. She is a graduate of Gwynedd-Mercy College, and attended Pierce Junior College, Community College, St. Charles Seminary, and has a degree in Business Education. Her work experience revolved around a 20-year teaching career in both the Catholic and charter school systems teaching math and science. In addition she has work experience with two insurance brokers, Aetna Insurance and Johnson & Higgins. More recently she has worked in the Philadelphia Court System and the City Commissioner's Office.
She has been providing constituent services through a number of groups, many serving our continually-increasing senior citizen population, and particularly as founder of the Southwark Civic Association. She has had membership and board participation in Epic Stakeholders, South Philadelphia Business Association, Penn Civic Engagement, Union Laborers District 33, America Speaks Out, Coalition for Citizen Alliance, Rage, and Youth Senior Outreach, among others.
When asked how she has been received by those who only knew her as an activist Democrat, she claimed that those who know her will support her work and perspective on reform first, and she saw no reason why many in this city who are disappointed with the status quo won't crossover to elect the first woman mayor with some of the freshest ideas in generations.
She is particularly critical of City Council, both those serving and how it functions. She described it as a "dysfunctional social club" and far from the body it should be in doing the people's business.
She was asked to be specific about how frank she might be in challenging those in government during her campaign. Her response was: "Elected official today, indicted co-conspirator tomorrow is how I see it; let the chips fall where they may."
Brown believes that her long-established relationships with those truly committed to good governance and constituent services don't end with party affiliation, and says that the city is longing for open, transparent government where people are held accountable, She pointed to recent scandals and problems in the public school system as one of her first priorities.
Opposed to new taxes, she sees audits, practical spending cuts, and serious job creation as a path to a balanced budget.
She has her work cut out for her, with Republicans only 14 percent of registered voters in the city. She said she is counting on that growing group of voters who are actually more independent in their overview, and what she claims is a major dissatisfaction with the present mayor, his administration, and City Council that crosses ethnic and racial lines.

Give them another reason why Obama's GOT to go.
NO. 6. He's an ageist, sexist, racist. See, for instance, the video mailed in 2010 to Democratic activists: "It will be up to each of you to make sure that the young people, African Americans, Latinos, and women, who powered our victory in 2008, stand together once again." What? No gratitude to the 41 percent of white male voters who put him in the White House?
Conservative movies: BLACK HAWK DOWN (2001) Rejoice in the political incorrectness of Black Hawk Down where, for a body count of 19 Americans, at least 1,000 Somali jihadis are mown down by super trained and disciplined Army Rangers. Then quote George S. Patton: "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country." Deploy the Reductio ad Hitleram
NO. 4. When confronted with an animal rights fanatic, say, "Hey! You mean you're like Hermann Goering. Do you know that in 1933 he said that anyone found guilty of animal cruelty or experimentation would be sent to a concentration camp? They really cared about animals, those Nazis!"

On Friday's Program
Episcopal Church: Global warming = the Crucifixion
It's disturbing when churches seem to focus more on politics than God. That's exactly what the Episcopal Church did when their 'office of economic and environmental affairs' (does that sound more church-ish or more dot gov-ish?) released a statement comparing the theory of global warming to the death of Jesus Christ. Needless to say, Glenn had a few observations to make on this one - you can watch his reaction HERE.
Glenn stages on air intervention
Co-host Pat Gray reached a breaking point on air today. He just couldn't take the ridiculous, false, idiocy being reported in the media on the Glenn Beck/Fox News relationship announcement. As Stu pointed out - hoping for fair media coverage of Glenn/Fox News is like waiting for a unicorn that can hover. Watch the intervention HERE.
Glenn & Co destroy false reports coming out of Fox News announcement: Watch the hilarious takedowns HERE.
Leadership: Obamas plan vacation
If there was a looming government shutdown or if America were involved in 3 wars with Arab nations, then perhaps it'd be bad PR for the President to take a 'much needed' vacation. But that's not stopping Obama! Will he reconsider? While he mulls that decision, chaos surrounds him. Will the government shutdown? Glenn has more on radio today.
The Masks are coming off - radicals are revealing themselves even MORE:
- Andy Stern on checks and balances: Former SEIU chief and most frequent visitor to the White House Andy Stern is now speaking out against the system of checks and balances of the United States Constitution. STORY
- Dark Rhetoric: Nonviolence Is Not Always the Answer - American Socialist Leader Openly Calling for Revolution here in America says 'We Are Not Pacifists, Violence Sometimes Is Necessary.' WATCH
Glenn's Reaction: Glenn goes through the incredible audio from left wing radicals plotting to overthrow the country. Why isn't anyone going after those organizing an armed resistance? Glenn goes off on radio today.
Ground troops in Libya?
Peace loving, President Obama promised that he'd never, ever consider putting boots on the ground in Libya. Looks like Samantha Power must be whispering sweet progressive lullabies into Obama's ear because there are reports now that boots on the ground in Libya is a possibility. Get the full story HERE.
