Dear Patriot,
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
St. Patrick's Day is a long-standing international and American holiday; a celebration of the most recognized patron saint of Ireland. In the United States, the holiday actually began on March 17, 1762, with Irish soldiers serving in the English military marching in downtown New York City. Since that time, the date has evolved as recognition of the roughly 36 million Americans claiming Irish lineage and their contribution to our Republic and its collective European core ancestry.
Our nation has also evolved a great deal over our short time of 235 years. Here at the Thomas Jefferson Club, a portion of our mission statement reads...
"WE BELIEVE the United States is a highly successful Republic because of the Western Culture and Values upon which our nation was founded."
A culture drives a nation. And every nation has a right to national self-determination. The United States is no different. So the subject for our next meeting, Wednesday, April 6th, is...
"Which Way Western Man?"
To discuss this subject we have two excellent presenters who will address this question with facts, figures and solutions.
First up we will host Peter Brimelow, author of the national best-seller, "Alien Nation: Common Sense About America's Immigration Disaster" and Editor of VDare.com. Our second speaker will be Louis March, author of, "Immigration and the End of Self Government" and Chairman of the Representative Government Education Foundation. Mr. March is a former senior staffer of Senator Jesse Helms.
Please join us Wednesday, April 6th, 7pm at The Temperance House in Newtown. **PLEASE NOTE OUR CHANGE OF VENUE DUE TO WASHINGTON XING INN'S RENOVATIONS** The Temperance House is located at 5 South State Street in Newtown, Bucks County.
I look forward to seeing you on April 6th in Newtown!
All the best,
Jeff McGeary

CFP report bears fruit: Most dangerous Islamist on planet earth now subject of criminal probe
FBI Launches investigation of Gulen and his movement | | By Dr. Paul L. Williams Thursday, March 24, 2011
Fethullah Gulen, dubbed "the most dangerous Islamist on planet earth," is now under investigation by the F.B.I. for his network of charter schools throughout the country.
The 140-plus charter schools, according to a newly released federal document, may serve as madrassahs where students are "brain-washed" to serve as proponents of the New Islamic World Order that Gulen purportedly seeks to create. |

Update-The Doctrine of Abrogation: Open the Koran Day
As me move closer to the launch of the first ever "Open the Koran Day" we will gradually unveil the details for those of you who will be participating.
First, we're pleased to report that hundreds of you have responded with monthly and single gift contributions toward underwriting the project. Many thanks!
If you would like to help support this project you can make monthly Patriot Partner or single gift contributions online here.
Or, if you prefer, you can print out a reply form here and mail it in with your check.
Here are some updates.
First, to give the day a strong focus, we have co-branded the day: The Doctrine of Abrogation: Open the Koran Day. Our goal is to educate the general public about a little known yet important doctrine called "abrogation."
If you are not familiar with abrogation, it is central to the jurisprudential study of the Koran by Islamic scholars and is the doctrine believed and taught by Major Nidal Hasan, the infamous Fort Hood shooter.
In a presentation that has now been published in its entirety, Major Hasan walked a room full of commissioned military officers through the doctrine of abrogation and how it led him to believe that the peaceful verses of the Koran no longer apply, only the violent ones.
U.S. Rep. Allen West recently responded to a man at a town hall meeting by referring to the doctrine of abrogation. You can view that 2:20 video here.
As noted above, Rep. West will be the keynote speaker at this year's national conference gala banquet. To find out more or to register please click here.
We at Act for America feel so strongly that our military, first responders, elected officials and general public need to understand the doctrine of abrogation and what it means for the threat jihad poses to America, that we are making it the entire focus of our previously announced Open the Koran Day.
Thus, we are moving the launch of The Doctrine of Abrogation: Open the Koran Day to Oct 29-30, 2011, in order to be closer to the two year anniversary of Major Hasan's jihadist attack at Fort Hood. We want the news media to focus on the doctrine of abrogation through the eyes of a man who believed it and acted on it.
To help facilitate this focused attention, we are commissioning a special video to be distributed exclusively to ACT! for America chapters and members who participate in this event. The video will focus on Major Hasan, his actions, the warning signs that were ignored, and most importantly, his personal belief in the doctrine of abrogation and what that meant for how he read the Koran.
For this reason we will be asking all participating hosts to locate their events inside a controlled environment, conducive to watching this highly instructive video and using it as a springboard of conversation for the duration of the meeting.
Coming soon we will give you the opportunity to sign up to host one of the Doctrine of Abrogation: Open the Koran Day events in your community. In the meantime, if you can help us fund the production and logistical costs of this historic nationwide event, please visit our donation page today!

I'm Not a Perfect Person, I Strive Not To Feel This Way...BUT...
Mar 24, 2011 06:13 am | Coach Collins
By Ron Reale, staff writer
...I feel not one iota of sympathy for the ruler of Libya or its inhabitants. I actually, and God will not look kindly on me for this, feel a sense of pleasure, a peaceful acceptance that all is well in the world when Libya can be torn to shreds in full view of us all. If there is any country in the world more deserving of it and its inhabitants being struck by, and destroyed by, violence and bloodshed, I can't think of it.
If there is one person with a cogent argument as to why anyone should think it important to intercede in the glorious destruction and death raining down on Libya, I have not heard them, and, truthfully, I would not listen.
The thought of American soldiers or the soldiers of any free peoples, putting themselves in harm's way to aid these savages is anathema to me.
You see, I remember:

Reuters Redefines Terrorist Attack
Nothing captures the media's attention like a bomb in the heart of Jerusalem. At this time, one person was killed and over 30 wounded as a bomb detonated next to a busy bus stop near the city's central bus station and international conference center.

Incredibly, Reuters included the following in its report:
Police said it was a "terrorist attack" - Israel's term for a Palestinian strike. It was the first time Jerusalem had been hit by such a bomb since 2004.

To: Friends & Supporters
From: Gary L. Bauer
America Not Sold On Obama's "Kinetic Military Action"
The Obama Administration won't say that the mission in Libya is a war. But what, then, is it exactly? Yesterday, during a briefing to reporters on Air Force One, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes described our involvement as a "kinetic military action." Whatever you want to call it, most Americans aren't sold on it.
A Gallup poll released yesterday found that 47% of Americans approve of the "current military action against Libya," while 37% disapprove. But here is the most significant finding: According to Gallup, the 47% approval rating is the lowest measure of support for any U.S. military campaign in recent decades.
For example, when President Ronald Reagan bombed Libyan targets in 1986, 71% of Americans approved and 21% disapproved. When George H. W. Bush bombed Iraqi military installations in 1993, 83% of Americans approved, while just 9% disapproved. When George W. Bush invaded Afghanistan in 2001, 90% of American supported the effort, while 5% did not. And when President Bush invaded Iraq in March 2003, 76% of Americans supported the war, while 20% did not.
That only 47% of Americans support the mission suggests at a minimum that President Obama has failed to adequately explain the mission. More troubling for the White House is a new Reuters poll that found only 17% of Americans view Obama as a "strong and decisive" commander-in-chief.
By the way, if you don't think there is any confusion at the White House over Libya, consider this: Fox News reports that just 30 days ago, the White House asked Congress for nearly $2 million in additional foreign aid for Libya. Why? To "train military officers, improve its air force, secure its borders and to counter terrorism."
Good News: Pro-Life Laws Sweeping States
This week South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard signed into law a bill requiring a 72-hour waiting period and counseling for women seeking abortions. Other states are taking similar actions. The Associated Press reports today that dozens of pro-life bills are "advancing through statehouses nationwide."
Five states are considering legislation modeled after Nebraska's law that bans abortions after 20 weeks. In Ohio, a bill would ban abortions after the "first medically detectable heartbeat."
More than 20 states are considering limitations on insurance coverage of abortions. Much of this legislation is in reaction to ObamaCare, which requires state health insurance exchanges to cover abortions unless states pass legislation to opt out of ObamaCare's abortion mandate. Apparently many Americans don't like their hard-earned tax money being spent to pay for abortions!
A spokeswoman for the radically pro-abortion group NARAL complained, "This is having a transformational effect on the insurance industry and the way abortion is viewed." NARAL was all for ObamaCare's "transformational effect" on the insurance industry when it thought it would lead to more abortions. But many states evidently don't view the destruction of innocent life in the womb as healthcare. And NARAL is having fits.
What has the pro-abortion movement so panicked this year is not the volume of pro-life laws under consideration. Pro-life legislators have been fighting for these ideas for many years. What is different now, as the AP notes, is "the fact that many of the toughest, most substantive measures have a good chance of passage due to gains by conservative Republicans in the last year's legislative and gubernatorial elections."
The Left Just Doesn't Get It
Earlier this week, I wrote about the Left's ignorance when it comes to jobs created by America's energy companies. Today's Washington Post features an op-ed by Randy Stilley, president of Seahawk Drilling, a shallow-water drilling company that operates in the Gulf of Mexico. Last month, Seahwak Drilling declared bankruptcy.
Stilley lays the blame for his company's demise and the loss of 500 jobs squarely at Obama's feet, writing, "In the 11 months after the Deepwater Horizon accident, it became clear that Seahawk's greatest rival was no longer our industry competitors, but the U.S. government. The government's drastic slowdown in the issuance of permits for shallow-water drilling operations ... has all but crippled the industry." You can read the rest of Stilley's op-ed here.
So while American oil companies are going bankrupt and jobs are being lost, Obama is promoting oil drilling and job creation in Brazil. When it comes to securing America's energy needs and the jobs that could be created here, the Obama Administration is either clueless or contemptuous. I believe the unemployment rate would be significantly lower if Obama were not president.
Reality Check
I want to respond to several themes that have appeared in recent emails from End of Day readers. I can certainly sense the anger and frustration among many conservatives with this administration, especially as it pursues its agenda through non-legislative means. But I would like to point out that we are making progress.
Today's political environment is vastly improved from the previous two years in which Obama got virtually everything he wanted from a heavily liberal Democrat Congress. House conservatives are preventing the worst liberal legislation from being enacted. Just try to imagine what Washington would be like if Nancy Pelosi were still Speaker, rubber-stamping everything that Obama sent to Capitol Hill.
That said, we need to be realistic about our expectations. We are limited in our ability to roll back legislation we don't like because Democrats still control the Senate. Remember, the Republican House voted to repeal ObamaCare, but the Democrat Senate voted to keep it. What we have in Washington today is a stalemate. But, thankfully, the Obama steamroller has been stopped.
At the same time, many folks have expressed frustration that Barack Obama is not being impeached. My friends, impeachment is not a real option. It is a two-part process that begins with an "indictment" from the House and ends with a trial in the Senate. Barack Obama is not going to be impeached in Harry Reid's Senate.
Not only that, the last time Republicans tried to impeach a Democrat president (Bill Clinton) all we accomplished was to energize the left-wing base (remember MoveOn.org?), boost his approval ratings, and lose GOP seats in the next election.
Sadly, half of the country still supports Obama. The surest way to boost his standing would be to take our focus off of jobs and other important issues to pursue an extremely partisan effort that is doomed to fail.
I also sense a growing dissatisfaction with the House GOP leadership, as if somehow the "bad guys" in Washington are Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor. I don't agree with the leadership on everything, but Boehner and Cantor do not run the federal government, and they aren't the problem.
Some emails I receive give the impression that the House alone decides what is funded. That is not true. The House initiates spending bills, but the Senate must also approve them. If the House votes to defund ObamaCare in the next spending bill, for example, Harry Reid will simply put the funding back in. If the House and Senate can't reach a compromise, then you have a government shutdown.
That may seem like a good idea to many people, but there are many good conservatives who are against a shutdown, not because they are wimps or sellouts, but because of history. The last time we tried it, like the last time we tried impeachment, it was a public relations disaster for us. In fact, the evidence is strong that the Democrats want a shutdown because they are convinced they will win that battle. A compliant media will blame it on conservatives and parrot the Democrat line.
But I'm not so sure the left will win this time. I am inclined to support a shutdown provided we use the opportunity to thoroughly educate the American people about just how severe the fiscal crisis really is. That will be a massive undertaking and the liberal media will be against us the entire time. But Boehner and Cantor are not the enemy, my friends. We want the same things. We are merely having a disagreement over strategy.
Let me conclude by stating the obvious: The last election was good and it gave us hope that the worst was over. But it was not great. We won the House and closed a big gap in the Senate. But we did not win the Senate, and Obama is still president.
Rather than bashing Boehner, what we all need to do is to work hard every day to make sure that we win the November 2012 elections, just 20 months away from now, and that Harry Reid is no longer Senate Majority Leader and that Barack Obama is no longer in the White House. That is what CWF is working to accomplish.
If we win the Senate and White House we can start making the necessary changes to get America back on track. If we lose because we wasted precious time and resources fighting one another, then the damage to our country may be impossible to reverse.

Egypt (Updated) Egypt Air Wipes Israel off the Map
Accident, prophetic, or wishful thinking? Those are the questions swirling after it was discovered Egyptian airline Egypt Air does not include Israel on a destination map on its website.
"Egypt Air, the largest airline in Egypt, has removed Israel from the map - literally," the Israeli news outlet Ynetnews.com reports. "On its website, Ynet has learned, Jordan's land reaches the Mediterranean Sea."

Obama's Solution: Amputation and More Amputation to the Body of Israel
Stanley Zir
Edited by Susan North & Buddy Macy
OUR PURPOSE
Fulfilling the mandate of the Jewish People's Declaration of Independence: Establishing the line which must not be crossed... a line which serves as a hedge of protection around the nation of Israel.
RALLY CALL
Israel can no longer be sabotaged by proposals cloaked in the name of peace and continue to survive. Our goal is the uniting of Jews and non-Jews in one purpose of mind, leaving no doubt there is a line which must not be crossed, and which we will defend to protect and secure the sovereign state of Israel.
For years, pundits have been analyzing and suggesting solutions to every event that chronicles the obvious injustice Israel faces, but to what avail? It's now 2011, the free world, and, most especially, Israel, is under attack by Obama's policies.
Obama's solution to the Israeli-Arab dispute - amputation and more amputation to the Body of Israel - thus bringing upon her ultimate death. Instead of submitting ourselves as a hapless victim to his knife, the Jewish People must take a proactive stance. We need to unite as one and take up the call for an immediate end to negotiations with people who have become nothing more than foot soldiers in Iran's global terrorist's enterprise. Whether it is Hamas, or Fatah, whether you label them religious terrorists or secular moderates, the DNA of hate and the destruction of Israel is the glue that binds these political parties to a common objective: Their determination is to create another terrorist Islamic state with "East Jerusalem" as its capital. (There never was a "west bank or east JERUSALEM" until the terms were invented to erase the real names which for thousands of years have been and remain JUDEA, SAMARIA and JERUSALEM).
At the end of the day, to be victorious we need a Proclamation whose Declaration unites us in one purpose, one heart, when discussing the business of securing the survival of Israel. It must be one that keeps us on a steady course as we advance towards this objective, not one of half measures that keep us scattered in every direction by the winds of change and uncertainty.
Never Again is Now is that proclamation; it is the inspiration for the Jewish People's Declaration of Independence. Its contents are a suitable vessel with which to directly address the issue of securing the survival of Israel, as it provides a litmus test establishing a line which cannot be crossed - the line which serves as a hedge of protection around the nation of Israel.
To secure that line, we need an oath to take the necessary steps to insure a stop order on any policy which would comprise the defense and survival of the sovereign nation of Israel - an oath that upholds the tenets of the Jewish People's Declaration of Independence. With those in agreement, I urge that this Declaration be read aloud at the beginning of any meeting, setting protocol for addressing the business of securing the survival of the Jewish State - thus giving teeth to its decree that "Never Again Means Never Again." The Jewish People's Declaration of Independence:
Upholding the Mandates of Liberty's Just Cause Nathan Hale, in an act of defiance, declared: "I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country." Why did this proclamation have such a powerful impact on the people of his day? Because, it captured the essence of their convictions and clearly and powerfully expressed sentiments that they could rally around to defend against, and defeat, an enemy that threatened to destroy them. For all practical purposes, the baton for peace in the Middle East that has been passed down by every U.S. President has become nothing but a truncheon used for Israel's destruction. After more than 40 years of fruitless dialogue with the Arab states, the vultures of death are now circling Israel; she is boxed in on all sides.
With Obama's final push to establish another terrorist Islamic state, how can we as a free people observe this act of betrayal and not scream out in disgust! Does he expect us to just sit here and watch everything we stand for be desecrated and defiled? Now, as with America's Founding Fathers, the Jewish People must declare their independence from his current policy that can only lead to the destruction of Israel.
The Never Again is Now Coalition was established in 2008 for this stated purpose, as it provides a rallying point for Jews and non-Jews alike to unite against any policy that dictates that the Jewish People must again go silently into the night. The Jewish People's Declaration of Independence, as a Never Again decree, addresses this issue.
Its purpose is clear, demanding that all agreements between Israel and other nations must be accountable to the core values that advance liberty's just purpose and noble cause - securing this world as a sanctuary, free from the forces that the governance of fascism, hatred and tyranny brings.
Since lies are the tools that fascists and tyrannies use to complete their circuitry of deceit, all nations must abide by and honor the decrees that support the tenets of freedom as the seal to bind any and all peace agreements between Israel and all other nations.
To verify if those who honor and enforce the above mandate give teeth to its demands, we authored the Jewish People's Declaration of Independence. As a never again decree, it clearly achieves this objective. Why? It demands that peace agreements offered by nations whose tyrannical protocol embraces the persecution of and/or hatred of Jews, and the destruction of Israel, be rebuked!.... while confirming that nations which champion freedom's cause stand unequivocally in opposition to any and all agreements that sanction the insidious notion that "terrorists/fascists and Israel are equal partners for peace."

Furthermore, Israel retains the exclusive and irrevocable right to establish the rules of engagement or disengagement from any agreements concerning the status and survival of the Jewish State.
Notwithstanding, is the Jewish People's right to censure any parties, nations or international institutions which do not recognize a united Jerusalem as the capital of Israel - an irrevocable right that is reserved exclusively for the citizens of the sovereign nation of Israel.
Please visit www.neveragainisnow.com and, if you have not signed the Declaration, add your name to the 22,000 signatories, including 800 Holocaust survivors, who support the ideals expressed in the Jewish People's Declaration of Independence. UNRWA removes Holocaust education from Palestinian textbooks in Jordan
I think I'm reading this right, and that the Orwellian move is formally limited only to Jordan right now. But given how the precedent is framed, it won't stay that way for long:
Omri Ceren
puts a spotlight on a new move by UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East):
The UNRWA [United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East] director of operations in Jordan on Thursday said the agency will commit to teaching the curricula of host countries, shelving plans to include the Holocaust in school textbooks... On Wednesday, UNRWA teachers in the country threatened to escalate measures by staging work stoppages and strikes if the relief agency continues with a plan to include the Holocaust in school textbooks. The Union of Arab Workers at UNRWA put out a statement saying that the Holocaust shouldn't be taught in any of UNRWA's five areas of operation - Jordan, Lebanon, the West Bank, Gaza and Syria - and that instead the space should be used to teach students about the Right of Return. That would ostensibly "enrich" sixth and seventh generation Palestinian children by telling them that some day they'll be overrunning Israel, and it would make the lessons consistent with the rest of UNRWA's war curriculum.
UNRWA in Gaza should be following shortly, in line with the Hamas government's formal policy of denying the Holocaust... READ MORE

Sarah Palin criticizes Obama after Israel visit Sarah Palin this week visited Israel for the first time.
The bus bombing in Jerusalem occurred shortly after her visit, and Palin had strong words for President Obama for not being more supportive of Israel. Asked by Politico whether Palin was right in her critique of Obama's Israeli-Palestinian approach, RJC Executive Director Matthew Brooks responded:
The accuracy of Palin's harsh assessment of President Obama's highly hyped Middle East efforts is no longer denied by serious pro-Israel leaders in this country, though some may prefer not to concede it.
The good news is that important institutions - notably our two nations' militaries - maintain strong and continuous partnerships across a wide range of projects. The bad news is that the diplomatic relationship is severely strained and the policy results are abysmal.
This president has personally snubbed Israel's prime minister at the White House, lectured Jewish leaders about how we and our friends in Israel need to somehow dig deeper to prove we want peace and put settled questions critical to the alliance into doubt. All the while remaining comparatively silent on the need for real reform and concrete steps toward peace by the Palestinians.
This has produced a flatlined, moribund "peace process," an ongoing diplomatic crisis at the United Nations and a serious threat of renewed war.
Sadly, President Obama continues to believe that the only way to peace is through pressure of the Israelis, rather than working to make sure Israel has a real, viable partner for peace on the other side with the Palestinians. In that, Sarah Palin is absolutely correct. READ MORE

Saudi Tanks Roll Where Obama Fears To Tread
By Claude Sandroff
Saudi Arabia is the last country an American should respect, having spawned fifteen of the nineteen 9-11 murderers and continuing to fund and spew hate-filled, anti-Western, anti-Semitic Wahhabi-inspired propaganda everywhere in the world. But however grudgingly, we must tip our hats to a country with a coherent foreign policy that uses its military -- unilaterally and unapologetically -- to defend its interests and allies against real or perceived threats. Hence we might almost applaud as Saudi tanks boldly rolled through the streets of Shia-dominated Bahrain to guard its Sunni monarch and staunch Saudi ally King al-Khalifa against potential overthrow by Iranian-backed street mobs. Behaving like a superpower concerned about its survival and willing to defend its friends, Saudi Arabia sent dozens of tanks via the King Fahd causeway into neighboring Bahrain. King al-Khalifa thanked the Saudis profusely, clearly unconcerned about the opinion of the international community as the Saudi contingent crossed into Bahrain without permission from the Arab League or the sanction from a UN Security Council plebiscite.

RedState Morning Briefing
For March 25, 2011
1. Obama/Salazar Moratorium Has Crippled Domestic Oil Production
In 2011, Gulf of Mexico oil production will under-perform the government's pre-Macondo forecasts by 355,000 barrels per day - almost 130 million barrels for the year. In 2012, the shortfall rises to 550,000 barrels per day - 200 million barrels. That's fully one-third of the Gulf's oil producing capability, and over 10% of total domestic oil production.
These are staggering numbers.
2. The Racist Revolt in Libya
To hear it from a wide variety of unlikely allies, the rather blatant effort engineered by the Obama Administration to oust the perpetual colonel, Muammar Qaddafi, from power in Tripoli will result in a dangerous tyrant being removed from power. This doesn't seem to be playing out on the ground where the famous aphorism by Mather Byles, "Which is better - to be ruled by one tyrant three thousand miles away or by three thousand tyrants one mile away?" can be witnessed in all its glory.
Apparently mobs of US supported rebels are happily slaughtering Africans living in cities under their control.
These atrocities were not being carried out by an evil dictator, rather they were the work product of the people with whom the world's greatest democracy has aligned itself.
Not only was there no reason for our intervention from any reason of national strategy we knew nothing about the people who we had decided to help. But none of that is important when you're involved in a shooting war to prove that your predecessor was wrong.
Well, now we do know something about the people we are helping. They are brutal. They practice systematic rape and oppression as a means of expelling blacks from Libya - one of the many charming things about the Arab world. They are supported by al Qaeda. In fact, they are demonstrably worse than the man we're struggling to depose.
3. Where This Is Headed
So ... where is this whole budget process headed?
Let's review the bidding:
- Many conservative groups have pushed for -- at the very least -- Republican opposition to any short-or
long-term spending bill that does not defund ObamaCare. - The Republican leadership balks because they do not want to get the blame for shutting down the government -- which would be shut down for the sole reason that Barack Obama refuses to sign a bill to keep it open, if the price for him is defunding the ObamaCare program which independent voters hate.
- The Republican leadership also fears ads about cute children who starved to death because of a government shutdown -- but, of course, that can be averted by legislation to keep attractive programs open in lieu of a funding or debt limit bill.
- Finally, the Republican leadership fears the damage to the economy -- again, a slowdown of the recovery during Barack Obama's watch for the sole reason that Obama would rather crash the economy than defund ObamaCare. (From a Republican perspective, that's called having all 52 cards in your hand.)
Instead, says the Republican leadership, this is only the first of a series of battles.
4. The Wages of Short-Sighted War Are Rape
"The murder and rape of Black African migrants in Benghazi (East Libya) reduces the value of anti-Qaddafi rebels' claim to justice."
- Baruti M. Kamau (The Barutiwa Daily Times)
We should all responsibly cede that US President Barack Obama would not deliberately seek out and ally America with an army that used rape as a weapon for vengeance and psychological intimidation during non-conventional warfare. Yet, according to many newspapers throughout the world, this is true of the rebels our airstrikes over Libya currently support.
This pathetic farce has come to pass because The Obama White House rushed into war. They did so in a unilateralist, shoot-'em-up, cowboy fashion. They made no effort to understand the indigenous culture or the situation on the ground.
5. The Obama Doctrine And Syria
As events unfold along the Mediterranean rim the governing strategy behind US foreign policy, the Obama Doctrine, becomes increasingly clear.
On the heels of supporting an insurrection managed by the Muslim Brotherhood against Hosni Mubarak, we have undertaken an ill-conceived military assault in favor of a racist and islamist insurrection against a ridiculous nonentity... a military assault our "allies" seem to be abandoning faster than lice do a dead dog.
Now we observe that Syria is cracking down on its own democracy movement. The security forces there have killed as many as 25 unarmed people in a series of raids.
6. Frank Lautenberg Thinks Terrorists Should Have More Rights than Tea Partiers
Some people are beyond parody. Back in 2007, Frank Lautenberg voted to expand the right of habeas corpus to foreign citizens detained overseas in the war on terror. In other words, if you are a terrorist, Frank Lautenberg thinks you are not getting all the Constitutional rights you deserve and he is going to do everything he can to make sure you get them. However, if you are a United States citizen who has not committed any crime whatsoever, apart from opposing taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, Frank Lautenberg believes you deserve no Constitutional rights at all. At a Planned Parenthood rally in Englewood, NJ, Lautenberg, addressing the counterprotestors who were protesting continued government funding of Planned Parenthood, said, "These people don't deserve the freedoms in the Constitution." In this context, "These people" apparently means the vast majority of Americans who don't support taxpayer funding of abortion, or at the very least all TEA Party people who feel that way.
7. Scott Brown Supports Spending Your Tax Dollars on Abortions
Often in the political activism business, we struggle to balance principle with strategy. At RedState, we have taken the oft-criticized stance that we will not endorse any pro-choice candidate, regardless of their stance on other issues. That said, we have not always agreed, even amongst ourselves, how we should treat pro-choice Republicans who would nonetheless doubtless be better than the Democrat alternative. In some cases, many of us (myself often included) have felt comfortable keeping quiet about pro-choice Republicans, saying things about them that are generally positive, and/or attacking their Democrat opponents. In the last couple of years, we have had lively discussions about how to react to primary challenges to Mike Castle and Olympia Snowe, to name but a couple. Personally, I counseled leaving both Castle and Snowe alone at least in the absence of a primary challenger who could win statewide.
That having been said, it is one thing to be pro-choice - i.e., to believe that mothers ought to legally have the right to kill their children in utero. This, perhaps, is something towards which conservatives might turn a blind eye in the service of pragmatism and politics. It is something else to be in favor of taxpayer funding of abortion, a position which is outside the mainstream of American politics and which seeks to make each and every one of us complicit in abortions. This is exactly the position Scott Brown has taken.

Urge Your House Member to Oppose Birthright Citizenship for Illegal Aliens
Below is a FREE FAX you can send directly to your Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, by merely pressing the button below.
Birthright Citizenship highlights another key area where our elected officials allow our immigration laws to be abused by illegal aliens--instead of protecting U.S. citizens and legal residents. This practice of granting automatic citizenship to the children of illegal aliens only encourages more people to come to the United States illegally.
Thankfully, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) has introduced a bill in the 112th Congress to eliminate this practice. H.R. 140 is an excellent first step into reversing the birthright citizenship loophole, but it will need more support in order for it to come for a vote on the House floor.
With the U.S. House more focused on increasing immigration enforcement, there is a good chance the bill will pass if it comes up for a vote. Please don't delay. Send this critical message to your U.S. House Member, urging them to support H.R. 140 against birthright citizenship. Other NumbersUSA members have already paid for this fax, so there is no cost to you.
Dear (Your U.S. Representative Will Appear Here),
I am concerned about the excessive population growth resulting from the automatic citizenship granted to the children of illegal aliens.
An estimated 4 million current U.S. residents have received this type of citizenship. Who's hurt by this? Millions of poor American children live in families suffering from unemployment or depressed wages because an estimated 7 million illegal foreign workers are holding construction, manufacturing, service and transportation jobs. Anything that slows the decision of illegal workers to go back home prolongs the disadvantaging of the 30 million less-educated Americans and legal immigrants who don't have a job and who generally seek work in the same non-agricultural industries where most illegal workers are found."
Fortunately, there is already legislation in Congress, H.R. 140, the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011, that would eliminate birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens and tourists. The granting of citizenship to the children of illegal aliens makes it less likely that illegal aliens with U.S.-born children will be deported, thereby keeping millions of unemployed Americans and legal immigrants out of jobs. I hope you will do all you can to support H.R. 140 so that illegal aliens are given one less reason to immigrate to the Unites States illegally.
Sincerely, (Your Name Will Appear Here) |

ObamaCare and Carey's Heart
My daughter probably wouldn't have survived in a system where bureaucrats stifle innovation and ration care.
By RON JOHNSON
Today is the first anniversary of the greatest single assault on our freedom in my lifetime: the signing of ObamaCare. As we consider what this law may do to our country, I can't help but reflect on a medical miracle made possible by the American health-care system. It's one that holds special meaning for me.
Some years ago, a little girl was born with a serious heart defect: Her aorta and pulmonary artery were reversed. Without immediate intervention, she would not have survived.
The infant was rushed to another hospital where a surgeon performed a procedure at 1 a.m. that saved her life. Eight months later, when her heart was the size of a small plum, an incredibly dedicated and skilled team of medical professionals surgically reconstructed it. Twenty-seven years later, the young woman is now a nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit where she is studying to become a nurse practitioner.

FBI Files: Ted Kennedy Met With Communist Traitor By Dr. Paul G. Kengor, FloydReports.com
Another round of declassified FBI files on Senator Ted Kennedy has been released. Fittingly, in Kennedy's case, they once again raise all sorts of questions, from the moral to the political to issues of national security...
As to the politics, however, once again we have more declassified files on Ted Kennedy producing yet more unsettling questions. As readers of my previous columns and books know, Ted Kennedy made a confidential outreach to Soviet despot Yuri Andropov in May 1983, evidenced by a stunning KGB memo.... |

A Political Reality Show
By Burt Prelutsky

I am constantly writing myself notes, jotting down the things I hear oozing out of the mouths of politicians. But occasionally when it comes time to use the quotes in an article, I find myself wondering if our elected officials actually spoke those words or if I had been hallucinating.
I mean, when some of the Tea Party Republicans were trying to introduce the notion of fiscal responsibility to Capital Hill by defunding the NEA, did Harry Reid actually take the floor to defend a cowboy poetry festival that annually draws dozens of tourists to Nevada? For one thing, if the Democrats are going to fight over such things, don't they realize that they sound exactly like those dippy women who divorce guys like Donald Trump and, in the battle over alimony, insist that they really need $20,000-a-month for their dog trainer and another 25 grand for daily pedicures?
For another thing, I hope I never again have to hear the words "cowboy" and "poetry" uttered in the same sentence.
Speaking of dumb things, did I actually hear Martin Sheen compare Charlie Sheen's situation to that of a cancer victim? If so, Charlie's not the only one in the family who needs to have his head examined.
On the other hand, as I listened to Charlie's endless rants about how special he is, being, as he is, a warlock, I found myself thinking that he was only saying out loud the exact same things that all those left-wing Hollywood crackpots believe about themselves. When you see and hear folks like Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand, Danny Glover, Sean Penn and George Clooney, scolding the rest of us, describing us as rubes, fascists and racists, don't you suspect they're wondering, "Why am I even wasting my time with these puny little creatures who all wish they could be me, me with my millions of dollars, my battalion of servants and sycophants, and my veins filled with tiger blood"?
Like most sane people, I was delighted to see the two oafs named Schiller dumped by National Public Radio. I would have been even happier if I didn't immediately have to see Juan Williams on Fox, once again chastising the left-wing elitists at NPR. Why is it that nobody dares challenge Mr. Williams by pointing out that it was the exact same place, pouring out the same sort of left-wing drivel, when he was working there quite contentedly for over 10 years? And after all that time, he didn't suddenly come to his senses and quit; he was fired. So, for all of his self-righteous bluster, the only thing that's changed are the folks who sign his checks.
For sheer chutzpah, it's hard to beat Sen. John Ensign, who claimed his decision not to seek re-election in 2012 has nothing to do with his adulterous affair with a staff worker, but, rather, his concern with how a campaign would affect his family. How odd that he never wondered how his affair would affect them.
By the way, with the frequency that politicians are caught having affairs with members of their staff, are we to assume that these days typing and filing skills are strictly optional, while taking dictation is essential?
Proving that even a guy who looks like Central Casting's idea of a president can be as dumb as a rock, allow me to present for your inspection Mitt Romney. As we look forward to a campaign in 2012, in which ObamaCare figures to be a major issue, this schnook defends RomneyCare! His defense is that it was created to deal with Massachusetts' needs. Who's managing his campaign -- Moe, Curly or David Axelrod?
If he were as smart as he is rich and good-looking, Romney would have said, "I regret to admit it, but my health care plan proved to be an unmitigated disaster. But I, unlike Barack Obama, learned from my mistake."
I believe that most Americans will accept that governors, senators and even presidents, make mistakes. In fact, they've come to expect it. But what they resent are politicians who are too stubborn or too simpleminded to acknowledge theirs and who, instead, double down.
But doing his best to take the heat off Romney's gaffe, we had Newt Gingrich blaming his tawdry affairs on his patriotism. I must say that, as excuses for adultery go, this one had the virtue of originality. But only in the sense that a kid explaining to his teacher that the reason he wasn't turning in his report was because a Martian had eaten it.
I never thought I'd say it, but I just might toss my hat in the ring and run in 2012. If things continue the way they have been, I just might be the last Republican standing. What's more, I am over the age of 35, I was born in Chicago and I'd be happy to show anyone who's interested my long form birth certificate.

It has been 6 months since David was taken from us, and it's been 6 months for the US and Mexico to find David and were still not closer to finding him then we were on Sept. 30th 2010. So, David's family and I have decided we are going to hold a rally at the Dever Capitol (Westside Steps) on March 30th at 12:00 - 2:00.
Our purpose is to ask our governor, congressman, and elected officials to take lead in pressuring the Obama administration to help us get David back and to prosecute the people in charge of David's murder. We want to help bring awareness to the border issues and what our government is not doing for the families who have family killed, missing or kidnapped in Mexico.
Please come and join us and rally with us to Bring David Home and bring awareness to the border issues: Cartel violence, spillover violence, murders, kidnappings because this isn't just a border issue it's an American issue.
We all have to realize that a "Mexico war is an American War". Their war will come here if we (as Americans) don't start pushing our congressman, governors and elected officials to start pushing the Obama administration to to something...

New census milestone: Hispanics to hit 50 million
Media is obsessing over this
In a surprising show of growth, Hispanics accounted for more than half of the U.S. population increase over the last decade, exceeding estimates in most states. Pulled by migration to the Sun Belt, America's population center edged westward on a historic path to leave the Midwest.
The Census Bureau on Thursday will release its first set of national-level findings from the 2010 count on race and migration, detailing a decade in which rapid minority growth, aging whites and increased suburbanization were the predominant story lines. Geographers estimate that the nation's population center will move southwest about 30 miles and be placed in or near the village of Plato in Texas County, Mo.

No 'timeline' for end of Libya operation: US
No timeline
US Defence Secretary Robert Gates said on Wednesday there was no "timeline" for when UN-backed military operations in Libya would end, and that the outcome of the conflict remained unclear.
Speaking during a visit to Cairo, Gates said the UN Security Council resolution that authorised a no-fly zone was "not time-limited" and that it was unrealistic to expect military action to be over in a matter of weeks.

Libya army transport deal frozen after US approval
From March 07, 2011
In the months before Libyans revolted and President Barack Obama told leader Moammar Gadhafi to go, the U.S. government was moving to do business with his regime on an increasing scale by quietly approving a $77 million dollar deal to deliver at least 50 refurbished armored troop carriers to the dictator's military.
Congress balked, concerned the deal would improve Libyan army mobility and questioning the Obama administration's support for the agreement, which would have benefited British defense company BAE. The congressional concerns effectively stalled the deal until the turmoil in the country scuttled the sale. Earlier last week, after all military exports to the Gadhafi regime were suspended, the State Department's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls informed Capitol Hill that the deal had been returned without action - effectively off the table, according to U.S. officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe the deal's sensitive details.

This week President Obama eagerly announced his support for new offshore drilling.
But for Brazil.
Yes, you read that right. During a visit to Brazil, President Obama applauded Brazil's decision to drill offshore for oil and gas, the very action that he and his administration have worked tirelessly to ban and restrict in the United States. The President also backed up his support with a promise of U.S. federal financing to help fund Brazil's drilling operations that will create thousands of new jobs in Brazil.
President Obama said that he wants the United States to be one of Brazil's "best customers" when Brazil's new oil and gas supplies come online.
Why does President Obama want to be one of Brazil's best customers of oil and gas when there are millions of Americans who would be eager to be the best customers of new supplies of oil and gas produced by workers in Louisiana, Alaska, and Virginia?
Meanwhile, gasoline and diesel prices in the United States are skyrocketing. Rigs are leaving the Gulf of Mexico and signing contracts with other countries. President Obama's drilling moratorium last summer and the subsequent refusal to issue new drilling permits caused the loss of at least 20,000 jobs. And domestic production of oil will drop by 220,000 barrels per day in 2011.
Will you help us send a message to Obama?
Please forward this email to your friends and ask them to sign the "Drill Here. Drill Now. Pay Less." petition.

Obama's Libyan Intervention Has Lowest Approval of Any Military Op Polled by Gallup in 4 Decades (CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama's intervention in Libya's civil war has not only failed to win the approval of a majority of the American people, according to a Gallup poll conducted Monday, it also earned the lowest public approval rating of any U.S. military operation polled by Gallup over the past four decades.
State Dep't Still Reviewing Terrorist Designation of Iranian Opposition Group As Bipartisan Support for That Group Grows (CNSNews.com) - The wave of popular revolts against repressive regimes in the Middle East and North Africa has given new impetus to a campaign for the administration to legitimize an Iranian opposition group. The Mujaheddin-e Khalq, which wants to unseat Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is on the State Department's list of foreign terrorist organizations, but some say it should be removed.
Iran, Syria Benefit From U.N. Nuclear Assistance Program, Which the State Dep't Insists on Funding in Full (CNSNews.com) - The United States is the biggest funder of a U.N. program that helps countries to develop civilian nuclear technologies. Despite "dual-use" proliferation concerns, the program's beneficiaries include Iran and Syria. The Government Accountability Office has for years recommended that the U.S. government, as a result of those proliferation concerns, withhold a proportion of its funding to the program, but the State Department strongly opposes the move, arguing among other things that the U.S. must set a good example to other countries "by paying its contribution in full and on time."
Breakdown of Black Families in U.S. Linked to Planned Parenthood's Birth Control Campaign, Experts Say (CNSNews.com) - Planned Parenthood's birth-control campaign in low-income, black neighborhoods is partly to blame for the breakdown of the black family and today's epidemic of out-of-wedlock births, single parent households, sexually transmitted diseases, absent fathers, and high abortion rates, according to panelists who spoke last week at the Frederick Douglass Foundation's annual conference in Washington. "The first family targeted by Planned Parenthood in the late 30s, early 40s was the black family," a conservative analyst said. Obama Administration Presses Its Homosexual 'Rights' Agenda on Other Nations (CNSNews.com) - The Obama administration is pressing the rest of the world to join the U.S. in "advancing the human rights of minorities and the marginalized," a category that it says includes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Obama Budget Nominee Admits Current Budgets Higher than Bush Debt (CNSNews.com) - Though President Barack Obama has repeatedly said he inherited a fiscal mess from his predecessor George W. Bush, Obama's nominee to be the deputy budget director conceded to a Senate panel last week that none of Bush's budgets had as high a debt as Obama's do.
Virginia's Education System Has 'Managed Well' Without Teacher Unions, Governor Says Washington (CNSNews.com) - Virginia's Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell said his state has "managed well" without teachers' unions. "If you're a manager, you take care of your people, you motivate them, you make sure they're compensated well, you treat people fairly - I think that's the right approach in the public or private sector, and really it kind of minimizes the need for a union," he said. McDonnell and other governors spoke Tuesday about an effort endorsed by the Obama administration to prevent kids from dropping out of high school.

Obama Wags the Dog By Ben Shapiro As the price of oil skyrockets, as our debt levels rise to new highs and our housing market drops to new lows, President Obama decides that it is a fantastic time to start dropping bombs on Libya. Detroit's Liberal NightmarePosted March 24th, 2011
What happens when a city buys the liberal dream hook, line and sinker? Just take a look at the City of Detroit. The once-great city lost 237,493 residents over the last decade according to the 2010 Census, bringing it to 713,777 - a population plunge of 25%. That's its lowest population since 1910, and it marks the city's fall from a 1950s peak of two million, over 60%. And that's just the people who can afford to leave.

Breaking Health Care Research: Pursuing a Different Path in Health Reform Posted March 23rd, 2011
After one year, Obamacare remains just as unpopular as ever. The fight for repeal has gained ground in both Congress and the states. But repeal is only the first step in setting a new agenda on health care.
In her recently released paper, Heritage expert Nina Owcharenko explains the four steps necessary to creating lasting reform that is truly market-based and patient-centered: "Unlike Obamacare, Congress should pursue an approach to health care reform that preserves the doctor-patient relationship and cutting-edge innovation while controlling costs and expanding access to private health coverage."
According to Owcharenko, successful reform will focus on four crucial areas:

Iran Blasts U.S. Intervention in Libya While Escalating Its Meddling in Neighbors' Affairs Posted March 23rd, 2011
Iran predictably has lambasted the U.N.-backed intervention in Libya, which it regards as a front for western neo-colonial efforts to seize Libyan oil resources. Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, gave a televised speech on Monday that criticized the military intervention in Libya and accused President Barack Obama of lying: "The US and Western (allies) claim they want to defend the people by carrying out military operations or by entering Libya ... You did not come to defend the people, you've come after Libyan oil." He accused the United States of trying to foment an uprising in the Islamic Republic similar to those roiling the Arab Middle East, saying this was a "doomed and grotesque plan."

Obama Budget Adds $80,000 per Household to National Debt Posted March 23rd, 2011
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has completed its initial review of President Barack Obama's budget request and found that the White House significantly understated the cost of and red ink in its budget.
While President Obama claimed his budget would produce $7.2 trillion in deficits (a staggering figure) over the next decade, CBO calculated $9.5 trillion in deficits. That is more debt than the federal government accumulated from 1789-2010 combined. Overall, CBO estimates that the national debt held by the public-40 percent of GDP before the recession-would soar past 87 percent of GDP in a decade.
